Lane restrictions scheduled on State Route 90 in Cochise County

State Route 90, in and near Sierra Vista in Cochise County, will have the following lane closures for pavement preservation. The work will occur as follows:

Eastbound State Route 90, will be closed at Fry Boulevard in Sierra Vista from 6 p.m. Thursday, May 18, to 6 a.m.Friday, May 19. Traffic will be rerouted from SR 90 to Charleston Road to Giulio Cesare Avenue. The westbound SR 90 lanes will remain open.

Westbound State Route 90, north of State Route 82 (milepost 297), north of Sierra Vista, will have alternate lane closures from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 19. The eastbound SR 90 lanes will remain open.

Crews and traffic devices will guide alternating traffic through the work zone.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions and closures, but it’s possible that unscheduled impacts might occur because of weather or other factors.
