U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a unique opportunity for qualified individuals who are ETS'ing this year and wish to remain in the area. They have several openings for Wage Grade maintenance mechanics in the Facilities Maintenance department. Plumbing, Carpentry, or HVAC skills could lead to a career maintaining the Border Patrol facilities here in southern Arizona. WG-10 starting pay is approximately $50,000 per year with all the benefits that Federal employment provides. The positions currently available are WG-8 and WG-10 positions in Douglas Az., Naco Az., Ajo Az., Tucson Az., and Nogales Az.
