Dennis Quaid Has a New Lady in His Life Who's Half His Age. It seems Dennis Quaid has a new ladylove in his life! The 62-year-old actor has been cozying up to Santa Auzina, appearing in several selfies on the 30-year-old model's Instagram. Quaid has appeared on her account regularly for about a month, having first shown up about five weeks ago in a regrammed picture from Atwater Cocktail Club. Since then, she and Quaid have been traveling the world, making stops in Canada, Texas and more. Quaid and Auzina even visited Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica, where she and the actor made sure to snap a selfie. Although she didn't caption the picture with anything specific, she made sure to include plenty of hashtags. "#notredame #catholic #santita #sundaymass #church #mylove #spiritual #soulmate #teamo #blondie #montreal #canada #amorepuro," she wrote. The Parent Trap actor was most recently married to Kimberly Quaid, who first filed for divorce in 2012 but reconciled in the spring of 2013. But the two just couldn't work it out, so Kimberly and Dennis finally called it quits for the second time in June 2016 while he was filming The Art of More in Vancouver. They share two kids together, twins Thomas Quaid and Zoe Quaid. Prior to Kimberly, Dennis was married to Meg Ryan, and before that P.J. Soles. "After careful consideration, we have decided to end our 12-year marriage," the exes told TMZ in a joint statement. "The decision was made amicably and with mutual respect toward one another." They plan to share custody of their twins. "We will always remain great friends and devoted partners in raising our children," Dennis added. (Eonline)

Ciara and Russell Wilson Called Off Their Wedding Twice Before Their Fairytale Ceremony in England. Planning Ciara and Russell Wilson's big day may not be as easy as you thought. Close to two months after the "I Bet" singer and the Seattle Seahawks quarterback exchanged vows at the Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England, the couple's wedding planner is sharing new details about what led up to the unforgettable day. According to Mindy Weiss, who pulled off one "heartfelt" day, the Hollywood pair had to change their plans on not one but two occasions. "I did the whole thing -- three times," Mindy revealed to The Knot. "They were first getting married in North Carolina, but they called it off due to the transgender bathroom laws. They were gonna go to Paris and it ended up being [Couture] Fashion Week and it was really difficult." She continued, "We ended up in London. They wanted to be away. And we found a castle that was an hour out of Liverpool and they had about 110 guests." Those special guests including Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Rowland La La Anthony and more famous friends. And while they were able to witness heartfelt words in the couple's vows, they were also able to witness a stunning dress that proved to have an effect on the exact wedding location. "Inside the castle, they had a chapel but it was too small because her dress was 13-feet," Mindy confessed. "Her dress in person was so much more spectacular than in the pictures, though in the pictures, they're beautiful. In person, it was shockingly beautiful." As for how Mindy scored the job, she explained her friendship with Ciara began because of La La who's married to Carmelo Anthony. As the couple continues to soak up their new relationship status -- and talk about expanding the family -- Mindy is simply grateful to be a part of such a special day. "I think my favorite part was the ceremony because they were so happy," Mindy shared. "They are delicious," she says. "They really are a very cool couple. I really enjoy their relationship." Leonardo DiCaprio and Nina Agdal were spotted showing PDA once again, but this time for an unfortunate incident. The couple, who have been dating since July, were pictured comforting one another, moments after their Hamptons car accident on Saturday. DiCaprio, 41, was dressed casually in a white T-shirt and shorts, and Agdal, 24, wore a Guns N' Roses tank top and black leggings. The actor's Range Rover was involved in an accident with a Mini Cooper vehicle. DiCaprio and Agdal walked away unharmed and the driver of the other car appeared uninjured. Police and an ambulance were called to the scene. After the crash, the Oscar winner was seen hugging his girlfriend and making her smile on the side of the road. He also went to check on the driver of Mini Cooper and guided her off the street. A source close to DiCaprio previously confirmed to PEOPLE that "all are doing great" after the minor fender-bender. Scott Eastwood Reveals One of His Girlfriends Died in a Car Accident: ''Maybe It's Made It Harder for Me to Date.'' Scott Eastwood has gone through a very painful experience that continues to affect him to this day. During a candid interview with GQ Australia magazine for their September/October issue (which hits newsstands on Monday), the 30-year-old actor revealed the heartbreaking story of one of his girlfriends who died in a car accident, and admitted that the loss he went through after that tragedy is what may be the reason why he doesn't date as much today. "I dated a girl a couple of years ago who died in a car accident," Eastwood tells the mag. "The f--ked up thing is, it was a fender bender, and there was a recall on airbags. Her airbag exploded. It shot a projectile through her body. It split her spine, and...I've never told anybody that." Eastwood continued by saying, "I've lost friends before; I've lost some great friends. But, I had never lost someone I had been really intimate with. Maybe it's made it harder for me to date." The young star adds, "It's easy to fall in love when you're young, right? And then you start to realize those feelings of love and stuff, passion, love, lust, sometimes they come very quickly, but they can also leave quickly." Although Clint Eastwood's son has quickly become one of Hollywood's biggest heartthrobs since he came out on the scene, he admits that being a movie star hasn't necessarily helped him meet women -- at least, not as much as when he was a bartender. "That was probably the wildest time," he said. "It still beats out being in movies or whatever. It still beats out all that, a thousand times." (Eonline)
Ryan Lochte ''Feels Like His Life Is Crumbling Under Him'' Following Rio Robbery Scandal. Ryan Lochte is feeling the repercussions of his recent behavior. E! News has learned that the Olympian swimmer, who has now lost all of his sponsorships following the Rio robbery scandal, is "not doing well," a source tells E! News. The insider explained that Lochte, "feels like his life is crumbling under him. He is reevaluating everything. He honestly did not think this was going to be blown out of proportion like it was. He just felt like he had to keep up with this lie or else. After everyone found out the truth he knew it was over. He really does feel bad." The source also tells E! News that Lochte's girlfriend, Kayla Reid, "has been there for him during this mess." His teammates aren't very happy with how this all panned out, either. The insider tells E! News that Lochte's fellow Olympians "all think that this was a really wrong move. His teammates are not happy. It's a bad look for all the U.S. swimmers and USA." Additionally, the source shares, "They want him to learn and he will surely pay the consequences. He is still one of the best swimmers, so they do hope by the time the next Olympics happen, Ryan has learned his lessons and cleaned up his act. Ryan has apologized to a few via text and calls. His teammates have spoken to him numerous times to check in on him, because in the end a team is a team." The controversy ignited after Lochte spoke with NBC's Billy Bush, claiming the athletes' taxi had been pulled over on the side of the road and robbed with a gun cocked to his head by a man with a fake police badge. In a subsequent interview with Lauer, he said they had actually been at a gas station when the robbery occurred. The discrepancies in the stories and their differing testimonies to Brazilian police called the entire event as it had been described into question. "That's why I'm taking full responsibility for it because I over-exaggerated that story and if I [had] never done that, we wouldn't be in this mess," he shared. "The people of Rio...the authorities -- they put on a great games," he continued. "My immature intoxicated behavior tarnished that a little." (Eonline)
JK Rowling has cast her Twitter magic over another enemy of being a decent person, this time a "Christian" group who said the Olympic diver Tom Daley's relationship with a man was to blame for his failing to quality for the 10m diving final. Daley, who came out as bisexual in 2013 in a lovely YouTube video and won a bronze medal with Dan Good fellow in the 10m synchronized diving at the Rio Olympics, is engaged to the Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black. After Daley missed out at Rio, a "Christian" prayer group called Christian Voice tweeted: "Turning gay doesn't appear to have done Tom Daley any favors". *cough* how about happiness, and also that medal? Christian Voice, who have also attacked Islam and marriage among gay couples in a very unChristian fashion, went on to say that "we need to remember that Tom Daley only went gay because he was seduced by an older man [Black]". All of which was greeted with rightful scorn, especially by Rowling, who highlighted the stupidity and spite of the tweet. Rowling's response has since gone viral in the manner of her previous frank calling-out of trolls. Daley, meanwhile, has rightly ignored the whole incident, instead posting a beautiful photograph of himself mid-dive. "It may not have gone the way I hoped, but I'm ready for what's next," he said. Ironically, Rowling's most recent Harry Potter outing, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, has come under criticism from readers and audience goers for setting up a romance between the two male leads, Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy, and bottling it at the last minute. The play was not written by Rowling, but playwright Jack Thorne, although Rowling helped to develop the story. However, Cursed Child doesn't begin until 2017, so as one fan pointed out, it's probably a bit weird to 'ship them given they are currently both aged 10. (British Glamour)
Chris Rock is officially single, after paying a visit to a New Jersey courthouse ... TMZ has learned. Chris and now ex-wife Malaak both appeared Monday before a judge, finalizing their divorce. The couple married in 1996 and have 2 kids, ages 12 and 14. As we reported, there's a third child ... and the circumstances of how she became part of the family are shrouded in mystery. 8-year-old Ntombi was only 6 months old when she began living with the Rock family. Ntombi is from South Africa and the daughter of poor street peddlers. Ntombi was never adopted and Chris maintained she was not his daughter. He has been in regular contact with his 2 kids since the couple separated in 2014, but has not seen Ntombi. We don't know the terms of the settlement ... the case is sealed. It's unclear what, if anything, Chris is paying by way of child support ... particularly in the case of Ntombi. We made repeated calls to Chris' rep, Leslie Sloane, but the calls were not returned. Tyga better bust out his bad renter playbook to deal with another landlord who won a judgment against him for trashing a rented space. Tyga owes $186,275.89 to F&S Investment Properties after he allegedly abandoned ship and left the space in ruins ... according to docs. The "Rack City" rapper rented the space for his company, Egypt Last Kings Clothing, and is accused of pouring ink down the drain and a bunch of other tenant no-nos. Here's the deal ... if Tyga doesn't pay he knows what could happen next -- F&S lawyers will grill him in court about his finances. You'll recall a Malibu landlord tried to do the same, but when Tyga was a no-show for a hearing ... a warrant went out for his arrest. He eventually paid up to settle the case. No doubt, F&S is gunning for the same result. Rinse and repeat. (TMZ)
Conrad Hilton smashed his daddy's Range Rover head-on into another woman -- just a few hours after he dodged jail time for another high-speed wreck ... according to a new lawsuit. Kelly Auld says Paris Hilton's troubled little bro was driving erratically in the white Range and drifting into her lane. In the docs, she says he accelerated, and clipped another car before smashing into hers. Auld says in the seconds before the crash, she saw Hilton looking dazed with BOTH hands above his head as he careened toward her. In the suit, she says witnesses saw Conrad throw a bong out his window, and he was covered in vomit when he got out of the SUV. The vehicle was registered to Hilton & Hyland, Rick Hilton's real estate firm ... according to the suit. She's done her research too -- Auld points out Conrad entered a court-ordered drug treatment program last year, and had been prohibited from driving. And get this ... she says the accident happened May 19 -- the day after Conrad struck a plea deal for a 100 mph wreck near Palm Springs. (TMZ)
THE OTHER STUFF . . .
Forbes Reveals 2016's Top Paid Actresses: What the List Says About the Evolution of Women in Hollywood. The tides of Hollywood are changing -- for better and for worse. If you want any indication of how actresses are progressing in the industry, follow the money. On the heels of Forbes' annual list of highest-earning female movie stars, it's clear that there are benefits to being an actress in 2016 as opposed to previous periods. Leading the pack this year is Jennifer Lawrence who, at 26 years old, has topped the list for the last two years and came in second place for the previous two. However, it's Forbes' runner up that has caught our eye. Funny lady Melissa McCarthy secured the second spot after a year of anticipated blockbusters, including the notable Ghostbusters reboot. However, her positioning is particularly notable considering she was once regarded by some as unbankable because of her size. After having launched to stardom as the laughable sidekick in Bridesmaids, McCarthy has defied the traditional expectations of leading ladies by sticking to comedies -- often raunchy -- in lieu of whimsical romances. Having steadily risen in the highest-earning ranks from third to second place since 2015, it's a clear signal that not all of Hollywood's female elite come in a size 2. Nor do they stick to the serious. Two of the top five ranked actresses, McCarthy and Jennifer Aniston, are predominantly comedic stars. It seems the money flows more freely when hysterical laughter is involved, as opposed to decades ago when the industry was predominantly lead by femme fatales. In fact, the ingenue seems to have lessened its demand in favor of more mature characters. Half of the women on Forbes' list are above the age of 40 -- combine that with the fact that Sandra Bullock became People's oldest "Most Beautiful Woman" at 51 years old last year and it's safe to say, Hollywood is loosening its reins on its longstanding ageism. While the list highlights women of different sizes, ages and genres -- they are still not as diverse in ethnicity. Of the top ten women ranked, only one actress is Asian and only one is Indian. There are no African American actresses. There is also a major discrepancy in the actual cash flow. In a year dominated by conversation about equal pay, the women can't even achieve equality within their own salaries. To start, top earner Lawrence's annual salary actually dropped by $6 million since her top salary last year. As for runner-up McCarthy, she pulled in $33 million, but it was still $2.5 million short of last year's second top earner, Scarlett Johansson, and the lowest the second top-earning amount has been in three years. Finally, while we hail these women for consistently excelling at their craft, there seems to be little room for new talent. After all, many of the same actresses have been featured on the list for the past several years, albeit rising or dropping in the ranking depending on the year. Lawrence alone has been featured in the top five spots for the last four years, sending the message that Hollywood rarely strays away from proven success. However, if this list has indicated anything about the evolution of women in Hollywood, it's "never say never." Until next year! (Eonline)
Britney Spears Auctioning the Clothes Off Her Back to Raise Money for Louisiana Flood Victims. Do you want a piece of her... wardrobe? Britney Spears has announced that she is teaming with the American Red Cross and CrowdRise to raise money for the victims of the devastating flood in Louisiana. A $10 donation gives people a chance to win either the outfit she is planning to wear at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday or a trip to meet her in New York City before the show. Named the worst U.S. natural disaster since Hurricane Sandy by the Red Cross, the deadly flood hits close to the 34-year-old pop star's heart. The mother of two grew up in Kentwood, La., and still has a home there. Also in on the relief efforts, Taylor Swift donated $1 million last week, saying, "We began the 1989 world tour in Louisiana and the wonderful fans there made us feel completely at home. The fact that so many people in Louisiana have been forced out of their own homes this week is heartbreaking." Per The New York Times, the latest report from the Department of Children and Family Services states that more than 2,800 individuals remain in shelters and at least 60,000 homes have been damaged across south Louisiana, while more than 106,000 people have registered for federal disaster aid. John Krasinski Cooks Emily Blunt One Meal a Week...and It's All Leonardo DiCaprio's Fault. To say John Krasinski has been busy this summer is an understatement. The director appeared on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday to promote The Hollars (in which he also stars) and opened up about the arrival of his second daughter, Violet Krasinski, born June 20. The newborn joined sister Hazel Krasinski, 2, whose mother is actress Emily Blunt, 33. "I can't believe you actually remembered their names," he joked after his friend, host Jimmy Kimmel, congratulated him on welcoming Baby No. 2. "He lives in space, guys. He's that famous. He gets it from his assistant. 'They're what now? Got it. Yup, Veebop and Hazeboo.'" John then explained why Hazel "absolutely" loves her role as Violet's big sister. "She's just young enough to know that, 'That's adorable and I get a lot of attention when I do things like hug her, because it looks like a Hallmark card. But as long as she doesn't mess with my stuff, we're good.' That's kind of the relationship they have right now," he said. Like all new fathers, John can't get over how cute his girls are together. "I just looked today, and they were actually holding each other in a picture that Emily sent -- just so that I would feel ultra-bad about not there. She loves to make me sad," he joked. "No, she was just celebrating how sweet it was to have two girls. And I truly -- every single night -- say, 'I can't believe these two girls are mine.'" Emily is enjoying some time off before she begins promoting The Girl on the Train, so John has been helping her out more at home. "I actually just started cooking," he said as the audience cheered. Jimmy politely old them to quiet down, but John appreciated the encouragement. "Absolutely clap for that!" he said. "It only took me 36 years to learn how to cook for myself." Jimmy, who used to live near the famous couple, couldn't believe it. "I would be less shocked if you told me you had a boyfriend," he said. John guffawed, saying, "Wait 'til the next segment!" "Cooking started as a Mother's Day gift to Emily. It's pretty sad that that's what impresses her. That just goes to show you how unimpressive I am at home that I was like, 'I'm going to cook you a meal,' and she was like, 'Oh, my God!' So, that was my Mother's Day gift to her," he said. John was ambitious, selecting one of Emily's favorite dishes. "Because she's from England -- they do a lot of roasts over there -- I said, 'I'm going to do a roast.' It was really sweet because my wife said, 'What are you going to cook?' and I said, 'A roast.' I saw her [scowl] and I said, 'Why? What's wrong?'" John recalled. "She goes, 'It's really difficult. You should do something else.'" To his own surprise, John boasted, "I made one mean roast!" Jimmy was even more surprised to learn that John is now cooking for his wife once a week -- though not just because he wants to be nice. "We made a stupid bet and I lost," the actor said. "The bet was Emily said something about Leonardo DiCaprio being 41. And I said, 'How dare you! That cherub of a man -- that cherub of a talent -- can't be more than 28.' He's not over 40, was my thing. She said, 'If I'm right, you have to cook for me every Sunday. And if you're right, you get play Call of Duty one a week.' So I thought, 'Here we go! This is the good stuff.' He's 41." "He really should be cooking dinner at your house," Jimmy proposed, to which his guest agreed. John doesn't always honor his bet, though. "By the way, I was at your house on Sunday, and Emily did all the cooking while you and I looked at your new record player," Jimmy said, happy to expose his friend on TV. John smiled and replied, "I told you, I'm an impressive dude at home. You know, with the new Star Wars trailer out, I was like, 'I'm not going to cook tonight.'" Jokes aside, John loves being a family man. So much so, in fact, that he couldn't refuse the chance to direct The Hollars. "Let's be honest: There are a lot of family movies out there. I think everybody has seen family movies. I had no intention of directing a family movie, and then I read this script by Jim Strouse, which is so unbelievably specific and real and honest. It's the best take on family I've seen," he said of the movie (in theaters Friday). "I was so honored to do it because I think in a crazy world it's nice to go back to things as simple and strong as family." (Eonline)
We LOVE this story; Dolly Parton has revealed she can't get enough of Adele's makeup look, especially her iconic feline flick. Speaking to the BBC, Dolly said: "I love how she does her make-up, and so I'm always saying to my little nieces, 'can you fix my eyes like Adele?'" Even better, Dolly even included a reference to Adele's cat eye in the lyrics for a song on her new album named Head Over High Heels. The exact lyrics are: "Put on my tight dress, hair teased on my head, painted my lips red, and my eyes like Adele." Later speaking to Digital Spy, Dolly gushed over Adele as she said: "I love her, love her, love her!" Dolly even brought Adele up in an interview with GLAMOUR in 2012. When asked which women she loves in the industry, she commented: "Certainly Adele is someone who I think just lately is incredible, and I'd love to someday write with her and work with her." Now there's just one thing we can't help but wish for: A Dolly x Adele collab!! (British Glamour)
A few months ago, Bella Hadid secured her first beauty contract with Dior and we've been waiting patiently to hear more. The model spoke to Vogue recently, as well as Dior's Creative & Image Director Peter Philips, who noted that "Bella came along and charmed everybody," at Dior. Bella and Peter are currently working on a collaborative web series which will document Bella's lifestyle and how she incorporates Dior products into her regime. The series will stream on Dior.com - and we can't wait. As part of the interview, Bella also filmed a short beauty tutorial for her fans, in which she shows how to effectively hide jet-lag using Dior makeup. She first applies concealer and blends with a blending sponge, before using a contour stick to create some definition. Next, Bella pencils in her brows and uses eyeshadow, lash primer and mascara to create gorgeous eyes. She finishes with some gloss on her lips. (British Glamour)
Bella and Gigi Hadid's little bro is NOT teaming up with an ex-con -- no matter how much of a handsome bastard the guy is. Jeremy Meeks -- the former Cali state prisoner known as Dreamy McMug Shot -- posted a pic with Anwar Hadid ... which became a thing on the Internet, and started rumors the guys were doing a modeling shoot together. Sources close to Anwar tell us he and Jeremy were introduced in Bev Hills last week, and Jeremy asked for a pic because he's a fan. Anwar obliged because he's a nice guy. Jeremy's no dummy though -- he's trying to make it big in modeling, which is probably why he didn't caption the photo. Never hurts to be Hadid-adjacent. (TMZ)
Rockers Guns N' Roses partied after their Dodger Stadium gig at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Spies said that at about 1?a.m., the band and 200 guests pulled up in tour buses, and "Axl Rose and Slash were accompanied by scantily clad models to the rooftop for pizza." Other guests in the hotel's Gable & Lombard Penthouse included Kirsten Dunst and Nur Khan, and Rose was seen on the roof sitting on the hotel's giant sign. At 5?a.m. the band ordered up 50 egg sandwiches before Rose turned in for the night. (Page Six)
Meek Mill doesn't seem too concerned Drake's still dragging his name through the mud ... he's too busy dropping half a mil on a new iced-out chain. As we reported ... Meek dropped $380k last week for one of the first Bentley Bentaygas to hit U.S. soil, but it's chump change compared to the $540k he just spent on his new neck bling. The chain is covered in 250 karats and was made by Shyne Jewelers. It's adorned with the letters DC -- a bedazzled shout-out to his Dream Chasers label. We're told Meek waited months for the piece and finally picked it up in Philly. So, technically, Drake's not the only one dropping weight in Meek's hometown. (TMZ)
The guy who's trying to dump Neverland Ranch from his books just got dumped himself ... his wife is calling it quits. Thomas Barrack got slapped with divorce docs. His wife, Rachelle, cites the usual irreconcilable differences for walking away from their two-year marriage. She's asking for physical custody of their kids -- ages 5 and 2 -- plus spousal support. Here's the kicker -- they still need to hash out who gets what ... potentially Neverland Ranch itself, if it doesn't sell. They could just split the rides and the zoo animals down the middle ... but something tells us that would get messy. (TMZ)
Here's How Much Ryan Lochte Lost in His Sponsorship Deals Following the Rio Robbery Scandal. Ryan Lochte didn't just lose respect after lying about his robbery incident in Rio, he also lost some major financial partnerships. Speedo USA, Ralph Lauren, Airweave and Syneron Candela all dropped their sponsorship with the U.S. swimmer following his scandal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. So how much will this cost him? ESPN reports he'll lose an estimated $1 million. Each company released a statement surrounding its decision to drop and/or not renew their contracts with the the 31-year-old, including Speedo -- with whom Lochte had maintained a 10-year deal since 2006. The company announced they will donate the last $50,000 from his contract to charity. "Speedo USA will donate a $50,000 portion of Lochte's fee to Save The Children, a global charity partner of Speedo USA's parent company, for children in Brazil," the company told E! News in a statement on Monday, adding, "While we have enjoyed a winning relationship with Ryan for over a decade and he has been an important member of the Speedo team, we cannot condone behavior that is counter to the values this brand has long stood for." Ralph Lauren took the swimmer off their Olympic endorser page and also gave us a statement on Monday. "Ralph Lauren continues to proudly sponsor the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team and the values that its athletes embody. Ralph Lauren's endorsement agreement with Ryan Lochte was specifically in support of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and the company will not be renewing his contract." Syneron Candela also cut ties with the gold medalist, who began promoting Gentle's Laser Hair Removal system in April. "Syneron Candela will be ending its partnership with Ryan Lochte. We hold our employees to high standards, and we expect the same of our business partners," a representative said in a statement. "We wish Ryan well on his future endeavors and thank him for the time he spent supporting our brand." Finally, Airweave (a premium mattress company) released a statement on Monday to E! News as well, explaining their decision to part ways with the athlete. "Airweave is a proud sponsor of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams and our dedication to athletic achievement is unwavering," the company said. "Our endorsement agreement with Ryan Lochte was in support of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to end our partnership with Ryan Lochte. We remain committed to supporting Team USA and the athletes preparing for the Paralympic games." The loss of endorsements raises red flags for Lochte who needs the sponsorship money to continue training again for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Thus, he's been working with crisis manager Matthew Hiltzik to repair his public image and salvage any other deals. However, according to Jonathan Bernstein -- president of Bernstein Crisis Management and author of Manager's Guide to Crisis Management -- it might all be too little too late. "Behavior like this makes sponsors, or potential sponsors, seriously question their relationship with any athlete," he told us. But that doesn't mean it's entirely over for Lochte. "You look at other athletes who have done, certainly in their case more embarrassing things, like Lance Armstrong or Tiger Woods, and they paid the price in sponsorships. Lochte has somewhat of a reputation for acting up already, so there's a crisis risk inherent always in sponsoring a celebrity or a celebrity athlete." Thus, Bernstein suggests Lochte moves forward with total honesty and humbleness. "How he deals with this is going to be more important than the effect of the incident himself," he told E! News. "If he deals with it humbly, and honestly from this point on, it'll be a dramatic difference than if he continues to be in denial. The public, particularly the American public, is quite quick to forgive when there appears to be true humility and transparency after a mistake has been made." (Eonline)
Leo DiCaprio abruptly backed out of hosting a $33,400-per-guest fund-raiser for Hillary Clinton at his LA home on Tuesday, saying the change in plans was because of the production schedule for a documentary he's producing -- but not everybody is convinced of the story. The move came just days after the Hollywood Reporter said the star and his eponymous foundation could be linked to a scandal involving a Malaysian sovereign wealth fund, at the same time Hillary and Bill Clinton's own charitable fund is under scrutiny. Guests attending the Clinton event in LA were notified via e-mail over the weekend that "the production schedule for [DiCaprio's] climate change film 'Before the Flood' has altered .?.?. which will prevent him from returning to Los Angeles .?.?. As a result, Leo personally asked his friends Justin Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel to host Tuesday's lunch with Hillary at their home in the Hollywood Hills." But some attendees wondered if the move had more to do with the THR report, which said the US Department of Justice filed an asset-seizure complaint in federal court pertaining to a Malaysian fund that backed Red Granite Pictures -- a production company behind the DiCaprio film "The Wolf of Wall Street." THR wrote: "The complaint does not target DiCaprio -- he's referred to twice in the 136-page document only as 'Hollywood Actor 1.'?" But, "The scandal shines an unfamiliar light on the charitable foundation of the most powerful actor in Hollywood thanks to the way [it] has benefited directly from DiCaprio's relationship with key figures in the saga." A Clinton insider told us the THR report was "not at all a factor" in the move. A source close to the star added, "Leo is stuck in New York until Wednesday to finish his current project in time for it to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival .?.?. Not wanting to leave Hillary hanging, Leo called his friends Justin and Jessica and asked if they would host." DiCaprio was in the Hamptons over the weekend with girlfriend Nina Agdal, when the pair was involved in a fender bender. A conservative street artist called Sabo took aim at DiCaprio and Clinton in LA on Monday. (Page Six)
The biography Donald J. Trump doesn't want you to read is back in print. After false starts by two publishers, reissued versions of "Lost Tycoon" by Harry Hurt III are now available in hardcover and paperback. As first reported in this column, W.W. Norton, the original publisher of the 1993 tome, was set to release "Lost Tycoon" as an e-book back in April, until Norton's in-house lawyers deemed it too "dangerous" to republish. Hurt, a Texan, deemed the lawyers "chickens?-?-?t." In June, Echo Point Books & Media of Brattleboro, Vt., launched a successful campaign on Kickstarter.com to support republication, only to have second thoughts as recently as two weeks ago. "Trump's chilling effect on the First Amendment is stunning," says Hurt. "'Lost Tycoon' has been available on the market for over 23 years, and I've never been sued." Trump hasn't even threatened a lawsuit. "It was only the perceived possibility that he might retaliate with litigation that prompted Norton's pusillanimous decision to kill the e-book version," Hurt said. "Echo Point is to be commended for its courageousness." One of the book's sensational tidbits is Ivana Trump's allegation, under oath, in their bitter divorce that Donald had "raped" her in 1989. Ivana later recanted her deposition, explaining she had "felt violated," but didn't mean to use the r-word in "a literal or criminal sense." The newly republished hardcover edition is priced at an affordable $24.95. (Page Six)

Aretha Franklin Cancels Concerts "Due to Doctors' Orders." Aretha Franklin will be sitting out for a couple of concerts. The iconic songstress canceled her Friday concert at the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Virginia "due to doctors' orders," according to a statement. Unfortunately, it probably won't be the only one she will be backing out of in the near future. "I will have to cancel a few concerts for the next month or so," the statement continued. Ticket holders will be refunded the cost of their tickets, but there wasn't any mention of rescheduled dates. One of the events she has canceled was her appearance at Radio City Music Hall's "Tony Bennett Celebrates 90" concert. Other gigs in St. Louis and Detroit have also been canceled, but for now it seems she'll be returning to the stage on November 11 for a concert in Minnesota. This isn't the first time Franklin has canceled concerts. Back in March, the "Natural Woman" singer called off two Florida concerts "due to lack of band personnel." She also called off an Oklahoma performance six months prior because she didn't want to make the trek after having recently crossed the country to the West Coast. "After such a long, 4,200-mile drive to the West Coast in July, I'm not prepared to drive as far west so soon again," she said at the time. "I am so sorry to have to disappoint my fans there, but I will reschedule." But the most recent cancelations are the first time the legendary diva has cited health reasons since August 2015. Halle Berry has an Oscar. Just remember that when you watch the latest edition of "Lyrical Improv with Lynn Hirschberg" from W Magazine. In this episode, in fact, we get not one, but two Academy Award-winning actresses' takes on the Britney Spears catalog just days before Brit drops her anticipated ninth album, Glory. While Berry goes the dramatic reading route for her poetic take on Spears' iconic "Oops I Did It Again," Jodie Foster has a bit of fun with the inscrutable lyrics to "Toxic," alongside singing Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra. David Bowie Plaque Unveiled in Berlin. Berlin's mayor has inaugurated a memorial to a hero: a plaque commemorating David Bowie's time in the then-divided city in the late 1970s. Mayor Michael Mueller recalled Bowie's "special relationship" with Berlin as he unveiled the plaque Monday at the building where Bowie lived from 1976 to 1978. The singer died in January aged 69, and the sidewalk outside the house on a busy street in the city's Schoeneberg district - home to a dental practice among other things - turned into a makeshift shrine in the subsequent weeks. Bowie's albums Low and Heroes were made in West Berlin. The plaque quotes the refrain from the latter's title track - "We can be heroes, just for one day." (Billboard)

Radiohead Pump Out the Classics (Including 'Creep') at Japan's Summer Sonic Fest. Radiohead went deep into their long list of hits, classic tracks and fan-favorites when they headlined the 17th edition of Japan's largest international repertoire music festival, Summer Sonic. The fest was held simultaneously at Makuhari Messe and QVC Marine Field in Chiba near Tokyo and Osaka's Maishima site on Aug. 20 and 21, with Radiohead appearing on Saturday in Osaka and Sunday in Tokyo while British electronic duo Underworld headlined in the opposite order. Weezer, Fergie, Alesso and Underworld led the way on Saturday at the QVC Field. Underworld's closing set saw a marked improvement in the lighting. Gone were the rather clumsy looking rectangular light blocks that flanked the stage and in came rapid neon green pinpoints, which combined with the giant color changing balls that were set loose over the crowd. The band mixed tracks from their recent ninth studio album Barbara Barbara, as festival-goers were hit with older faves like "Dark & Long," "King of Snake." Japan loves Underworld and it was clear the feeling was reciprocated as they dedicated "Born Slippy. NUXX" to local fans as another great Japanese love -- summer fireworks -- burst out over the stadium. But it was the packed Sunday in Tokyo when the fest reached its peak intensity. New York's currently-hot Sunflower Bean opened up the Sonic stage and their spirited set established the tone for the rest of the day. Their almost bashful, polite banter between songs belied their stage presence as they played. The synergy between lead vocalist and bassist Julia Cumming and guitarist Nick Kivlen was refreshing and energetic, finding Cumming down on her knees at one moment and gently headbutting Kivlen's chest the next. Summer Sonic marked their Japan debut but it seems they'll be back quite soon, given that they enthralled a respectable pre-midday crowd of more than 2,000. Danish vocalist MØ, who last year jumped to international fame as the singer on Major smash hit "Lean On," took the baton and entranced the 3,500 or so gathered at the Mountain stage. Her set included the single "Kamikaze" from her upcoming album produced by Diplo and tracks "Don't Wanna Dance" and "Pilgrim," from her 2014 long-player No Mythologies to Follow. She ended with "Lean On," sending the crowd into a stomp mode. Electric energy ran through the packed-out stadium for Radiohead, who also headlined the fest back in 2003. After a six-minute opening ambient jam the Oxford lads played the first five tracks from A Moon Shaped Pool, in order. They departed from that with a bout of maniacal laughing from Thom Yorke before diving into "2+2 = 5" from the Hail to the Thief album (the release they were touring in 2003). The set pulled liberally from Radiohead's oeuvre including "Airbag" (OK Computer), "Reckoner" (In Rainbows), "No Surprises" (OK Computer), "Bloom" (The King of Limbs), "The National Anthem" (Kid A), and "Idioteque" (Kid A). The boys were in fine form with tight instrumentation and the subtle textures they are known for. The six-song encore started with the relatively rare "Letdown" from OK Computer before working up to their megahit "Creep." The stadium exploded into a frenzy with those in the balconies literally jumping from their seats. "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" (The Bends) concluded the 2 hour 15 minute set and Yorke offered a quick "goodnight" before fireworks echoed the energy of the crowd. In total 209,000 patrons passed through the gates, a drop of 26,000 from last year, and the deficit was felt most acutely on the days Radiohead did not appear, where the crowds were thinner. Billboard estimates that ticket sales returned ¥2.5 billion ($24.9 million) in revenue to promoter Creativeman Productions. (Billboard)

Here's the Emma Stone La La Land Musical Number You've Been Waiting For. It's finally happened: Emma Stone is singing on film! In mid-July, we were pleasantly greeted by a trailer for La La Land featuring Ryan Gosling and the red-headed beauty. It had no dialogue, but rather, used the actor's original song "City of Stars" to play over a montage of clips from the upcoming film. This time around, it's Stone's voice that serenades us with more of a sneak peek into what's sure to be one of our favorite romantic films in the future (if Crazy, Stupid, Love is any prior indication). She sounds beautiful as she belts out the song "Audition" from the pic -- which will premiere during the Venice Film Festival at the end of the month -- bringing tears to our eyes as we watch her love with Gosling unfold in the form of music. "Here's to the ones who dream/ Foolish as they may seem," Stone sings in the new trailer. "Here's to the hearts that ache/ Here's to the mess we make." La La Land tells the story of aspiring actress Mia (Stone) who serves lattes to movie stars in between auditions, while dedicated jazz musician Sebastian (Gosling) plays in dingy bars in order to scrape by. Set in Los Angeles, the two fall in love but struggle to cope with the pressures of trying to make it big in Hollywood. Throughout the two minute teaser, we watch as Stone appears frustrated with her current state, and Gosling works hard on the piano. Eventually, the two are seen taking the stage together, falling in love and portraying that in the spotlight. However, something ominous about the trailer tells us things might not last... We'll have to wait and find out when the film hits theaters this December. (Eonline)
Oliver Stone screened his movie "Snowden" to a VIP audience in East Hampton on Sunday with political representation from the left and right -- from Peggy Noonan to Christie Brinkley, Dick Cavett and Joy Behar -- as well as news types including Katie Couric, Don Lemon, CBS News president David Rhodes, CBS Washington Bureau Chief Christopher Isham and Fox News' Monica Crowley. The movie's been getting big buzz before its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 9. Over the weekend, Larry Gagosian hosted a private screening at his Hamptons home for guests including "60 Minutes" correspondent Steve Kroft, who was overheard saying it was Stone's "best film." At the Sunday screening, Stone introduced the film by acknowledging the complex legal and ethical debate surrounding Edward Snowden, and mentioned he'd made multiple trips to Moscow to interview Snowden, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The crowd later decamped for dinner at the Blue Parrot, where the 2016 campaign dominated most conversations. We hear the movie will have a national sneak preview Sept. 14 -- where Snowden will be beamed into theaters from Moscow for a Q&A with Stone. (Page Six)
Is 'Mission: Impossible 6' Necessary? Production has halted as Tom Cruise and Paramount face a pay dispute. Ethan Hunt's next mission has been put on pause. Sources on Friday told The Hollywood Reporter that Tom Cruise is looking for backend compensation similar to what he's getting on Universal's The Mummy reboot, so preproduction on Mission: Impossible 6 has been halted due to the star's salary dispute with Paramount. As the situation unfolds, it's worth looking back at what the franchise as a whole has meant to the action genre. Mission: Impossible is considered perhaps the most consistently good action franchise of all time, with it achieving the rare feat of getting better with age since its 1996 debut. The James Bond pics -- the gold standard for spy franchises -- are known for their ups and downs, with even Daniel Craig's popular run including hits (Casino Royale, Skyfall), misses (Quantum of Solace) and merely satisfactory installments (Spectre). Over its 20-year history, Mission: Impossible is four for five, with Mission: Impossible II (2000) considered the only misfire (but still a box-office hit). That's a pretty remarkable record. Fast and Furious is the only ongoing American action franchise that can rival Mission: Impossible, and though beloved by fans, it took until Furious Five (2011) for it to find its footing in its current incarnation, which has seen it soar to new heights of critical and commercial success. Die Hard, another long-running action franchise, has been criticized for Bruce Willis' John McClane going from ordinary New York cop performing extraordinary duties in the 1988 original to invulnerable superhero by the time Live Free and Die Hard (2007) and A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) rolled around. Ethan Hunt, on the other hand, isn't a superman. The stunts have gotten more daring, but not more improbable, and the action isn't (just) dependent on explosions and gunfire. Last year's Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation pushed Hunt literally to the limits of human endurance, with him ultimately succumbing to the fact that his brain needs oxygen and passing out, nearly dying. That acknowledgement that Hunt does have physical limits would never make it into the 2000s-era Die Hard movies. To be sure, this is an action movie, so suspension of disbelief is key, but the stunts are also rooted in reality, with Cruise famously said to perform many of them himself. Mission: Impossible delivers what no other action franchise can -- the promise that the ante will be raised with every installment (who doesn't want to see how Cruise tops his plane stunt from the last movie?) without the action being dumbed-down or mired with CGI. Paramount initially was eyeing a late 2017 release for Mission: Impossible 6, with Rogue Nation's Christopher McQuarrie back to direct. The film is currently undated. Follow Heat Vision on Facebook and Twitter for more on Mission: Impossible 6. (Hollywood Reporter)
Tokyo Film Fest to Open With 'Florence Foster Jenkins'. Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant are scheduled to attend the festival's opening on Oct. 25. Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) is to open on Oct. 25 with Stephen Frears' Florence Foster Jenkins. Stars Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant are due to walk the red carpet of the fest at the Roppongi Hills complex in central Tokyo. The U.K.-France coproduction tells the true story of a New York heiress, played by Streep, who pursued a singing career blind to the fact that she had a terrible voice. The film had its world premiere at the Belfast Film Festival on April 23, and was released in the U.K. on May 6 and in the United States on Aug. 12. TIFF will run until Nov. 3 and the closing film will be Yoshitaka Mori's Satoshi: A Move for Tomorrow, also based on a true story, the life of shogi (Japanese chess) master who fought a debilitating disease. Sarah Paulson Is Geraldine Page in Ryan Murphy's Feud. What's a Ryan Murphy production on FX without a Sarah Paulson appearance? We shudder at the thought. And now that his go-to leading lady has signed on for a role in his upcoming series Feud, we'll never have to find out. The prolific producer revealed on Twitter that the People v. O.J. Simpson star has joined the anthology series, set to bring Oscar-winning actress Geraldine Page back to life. The first installment of Feud will center on the legendary (what else?) feud between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford that developed as the two Hollywood icons filmed the classic film What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Paulson's addition to the cast makes an American Horror Story reunion of sorts as AHS alum Jessica Lange stars as Crawford, alongside Susan Sarandon as Davis. "Excited to announce Sarah Paulson will be playing legendary Oscar-winner Geraldine Page in FEUD," Murphy tweeted. Paulson's casting announcement comes on the heels of last week's revelation that Catherine Zeta Jones was making the leap to television to join Feud as Olivia de Havilland. Feud also stars Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci, Judy Davis, and Dominic Burgess. "Ryan keeps re-inventing TV," John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks, said in a statement when the show was announced. "Nip/Tuck brilliantly extended the boundaries of ad supported television. Glee re-imagined the television musical. American Horror Story pioneered the modern anthological series, which has rapidly transformed the television landscape and been widely copied. The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story was recognized by many as the best and most talked about new show this year. And all of those shows have been award-winning ratings hits. Feud adds a third and equally ambitious franchise to Ryan's unprecedented slate of FX anthological limited series and marks our third such collaboration with studio partner 20th Century Fox Television/Fox 21. The series will offer a seductive, insightful look at what lies behind legendary personality conflicts." Are you relieved that Feud won't be a Paulson-less Murphy/FX production? Feud is expected to debut on FX in 2017. (Eonline)

News previously reported, other celebs in talks for this season include reigning Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and former Wizards of Waverly Place and The Fosters star Jake T. Austin. Although Olympic golden girl Simone Biles has been approached to join the cast as well, she told E! News last week that she didn't think scheduling would work out for this season thanks to her gymnastics tour obligations. "I would love to do Dancing with the Stars, but so far we have a three month tour after this Olympics," Simone exclusively told E! News' Zuri Hall at the P&G Family Home in Rio. "I'm not sure if I'll have time." The 19-year-old gymnast, who won four gold medals and a bronze in the Rio Olympics, says we'll just have to wait for season 24 in 2017. "I would really love to do it in the spring if that's possible," she added. She' be in good company, considering her teammate Aly Raisman competed in season 16, Shawn Johnson won season eight and Nastia Liukin competed in season 20. Dancing With the Stars' Season 23 Professional Dancers Revealed. They're ba-aaack! Dancing With the Stars' new season is just around the corner, ballroom lovers, and we're this close to learning which celebs will be competing. And to get fans really excited about the big reveal, which will happen on Aug. 30, the line-up of professional dancers was announced on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning. Appearing on GMA to chat about the new season was fan-favorite Val Chmerkovskiy, who is definitely returning for season 23 and said, "It's going to be amazing. We're going to have an incredible cast as always, but I'm also excited for the pros. We have a lot of different pros coming back. Some pros from back, back in the day, so I'm excited." Some of those returning pros? Gleb Savchenko, who only competed in one previous season with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Vandperump, is set to make his return to DWTS, but we're going to have to wait a little longer for the final list of pros, as only eight names were revealed on Tuesday, including Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Sharna Burgess, Lindsay Arnold and Sasha Farber. Set to return after sitting out last season is Allison Holker, who gave birth to a baby boy, Maddox Laurel Boss, in April, her first child with husband and So You Think You Can Dance star Stephen "tWitch" Boss. Definitely not returning? Reigning champ Peta Murgatroyd, who took home the mirrorball trophy with Nyle DiMarco, as she's expecting her first child with fiance Maksim Chermkovskiy, a former DWTS pro. "It's a new show," Val said. "It's constantly evolving and we have a nice mix and balance of young kids that are inspired and very motivated to bring out the essence of this generation, but also we have some more classic, conservative dancers from the past as well, so I'm excited." While no contestants have been officially announced yet, sources tell E! News that The Bachelorette's JoJo Fletcherand former Disney star Jake T. Austin will be putting on their dancing shoes, while Olympic gymnast Simone Biles told us that her busy schedule could prevent her from joining the cast this season (though she's hoping to join season 24). Definitely not joining DWTS? The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. ABC does not comment on casting rumors. The full cast, celebs and pros included, will be announced on Good Morning America on Aug. 30, with the season set to kick off on Monday, Sept. 12 on ABC. (Eonline)
Maisie Williams' Game of Thrones Season 7 Review: "Holy Balls." Maisie Williams is all of us... except she has access to Game of Thrones season seven. The Game of Thrones star, who is up for an Emmy for her work as Arya Stark in the show's recently wrapped sixth season, has read season seven of the hit HBO series and she took to Twitter to share her thoughts. We're pretty sure those thoughts she had and shared would be yours. "Just finished reading season 7," she tweeted. "S -- t gets REAl... I'd start preparing yourselves now... Scratch that, nothing will prepare you for this." She ended with "holy BALLS." Gulp. Game of Thrones is gearing up for the end. HBO announced season eight will be the final season. And you know how Game of Thrones does things, usually the penultimate episode of the season is the crazier than the finale (except this year, which were both nuts), so can you imagine what these two upcoming seasons will be like? Nope, neither can we, especially because they're off book. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kit Harington admitted he's been giving the end a lot of thoughts. "It has been in my consciousness a lot. This mammoth, goliath event in my life, which has so much of what my 20s are, is going to come to an end," he said. "I think I'm going to really make the effort in these next two years to enjoy every moment of it, because I don't know when I'll get something like this coming around again." You'll have to wait a little longer for Game of Thrones season seven -- it's coming summer 2017 instead of in the spring. "Now that winter has arrived on Game of Thrones, executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss felt that the storylines of the next season would be better served by starting production a little later than usual, when the weather is changing," Carter Bloys, president of HBO programming, said in a statement. "Instead of the show's traditional spring debut, we're moving the debut to summer to accommodate the shooting schedule." (Eonline)
Arnold Schwarzenegger Channels The Terminator for The New Celebrity Apprentice. Arnold Schwarzenegger is calling the shots on The New Celebrity Apprentice." NBC released a Terminator-style promo for its upcoming season on Monday, with the one-time "Governator" channeling his signature character from the 1981 sci-fi hit. "We're building a new boss," the video reads as the former California governor is constructed by a machine. Schwarzenegger then declares, "Let's get down to business." It was previously announced that Schwarzenegger, 69, is taking over Apprentice hosting duties from businessman–turned–presidential hopeful Donald Trump, 70, and NBC chief Bob Greenblatt told reporters at the Television Critics Association tour in Beverly Hills on Aug. 2 that Trump "would never be back on Celebrity Apprentice, as long as I'm here." 'Quantico,' 'American Crime' to Stream Exclusively on Netflix. Both seasons of John Ridley's 'American Crime' are now streaming in the U.S. Netflix is adding a pair of ABC dramas to its exclusive streaming lineup. The streamer has struck deals with ABC Studios to become the sole U.S. subscription video home of Quantico and American Crime. Both shows are available to stream in full beginning Tuesday, Aug. 23. Quantico, which stars Priyanka Chopra as an FBI recruit who is blamed for a deadly terrorist attack, debuted its freshman season last September. It returns Sept. 25 on ABC with Blair Underwood signed on as a new series regular. John Ridley's anthology drama American Crime has aired two seasons on ABC, both of which are now available on Netflix. Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton and Regina King are returning for a third season, which will be set in North Carolina and focus on labor issues. American Crime has been an award show staple since its 2015 release, with 10 nominations at the 2015 Primetime Emmys and a win for Regina King in the supporting actress in a limited series or movie category. The show is up for four Emmys this year. Netflix is already the exclusive subscription streaming home to all past seasons of ABC's Shondaland shows -- Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder and Grey's Anatomy. The deal for Quantico and American Crime comes on the heels of an expansive pact between Netflix and the CW that will see new seasons of the broadcast network's shows, including critical darlings Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, stream exclusively on Netflix eight days after each show's season finale. TV Land's 'Jim Gaffigan Show' to End With Season 2. The star, creator and exec producer made the announcement Monday on Twitter. TV Land's The Jim Gaffigan Show will end with its second season. Star, creator and exec producer Jim Gaffigan made the announcement Monday via Twitter with a post explaining the "difficult" decision that doubles Sunday's season finale as a series-ender. "After months of discussion [his wife and exec producer] Jeannie [Gaffigan] and I have decided to make season two of The Jim Gaffigan Show the final season," he wrote. "We realize this may surprise some and we don't make this decision lightly. It is hard to say goodbye to this highly personal passion project, which we have nurtured and poured our hearts into for over five years. Jeannie and I are grateful that TV Land allowed us to do this show about our lives the way we wanted. It was empowering, exhilarating and exhausting. As many of you know all the episodes this season were written by Jeannie and me. Jeannie was the showrunner and I acted in virtually every scene. In one way it was a perfect scenario. We worked with an amazing cast and crew, learned tons and laughed so much. However, the time commitment to make the quality of show we wanted was taking us away from our most important project, our five children. We are truly grateful for all the support friends on social media and television critics have given The Jim Gaffigan Show. Jeannie and I are excited to move forward with other creative pursuits." The Jim Gaffigan Show was based on the lives of the husband-and-wife duo. The road to the screen was a long one, with the comedy originally developed for NBC and forced to film two pilots for CBS before it moved to TV Land with a series pickup. The deal also included a second window on Comedy Central, where Gaffigan has been a featured stand-up performer. In its freshman run, the series averaged 4 million total viewers when factoring in premiere nights on both the network and sibling Nick at Nite. "We are really proud of The Jim Gaffigan Show and the amazing comedy that Jim, Jeannie, the cast, the creative team and JAX Media have made for us," TV Land said in a statement. "After two great seasons, we have mutually agreed to not move forward with season three of the series. We have an incredible amount of respect for everyone involved, and are grateful to them for bringing their passion and dedication to The Jim Gaffigan Show." Produced by Sony Pictures Television, Fedora Entertainment's Peter Tolan, Michael Wimer and Gaffigan's manager at Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Alex Murray and Sandy Wernick, also executive produced. For TV Land, the departure of The Jim Gaffigan Show comes as the Viacom-owned cable network has found success with its switch to single-camera comedy -- and filming in New York. The Jim Gaffigan Show becomes the first of the cabler's single-camera fare to bid farewell after TV Land's rebranding to focus on a younger demo than the multicamera fare that came before it. After cancelling all of its multicamera fare, including Betty White's Hot in Cleveland, the cabler's roster now consists of all single-cam: Younger, Lopez, Teachers and Impastor. Its pilot roster includes a reboot of First Wives Club and a John Wells comedy inspired by the life of Kyle Richards and starring Alicia Silverstone. (Hollywood Reporter)
She has one of the most recognizable voices of all time, but Maggie Wheeler - AKA Janice from Friends - sounds 100% different to the TV character we know her for. ALL TOGETHER: OOOHHHH MYYYYY GOOODDDDDDDD. During an interview with ITV's This Morning, the 55-year-old actress revealed how she came up with her memorable phrase and that distinctive laugh. "It was just this progression - how Janice evolved, how the writers created the character for me. So the laugh happened organically in the first rehearsal, because I needed to find a way to laugh, because Matthew Perry is so funny," she admitted. She added that the laugh was a result of her finding Perry so funny and couldn't control the giggles. "And working with him, I knew right away, I thought, 'This guy's gonna make me laugh on set, I've gotta be prepared. What am I going to do?' So I created Janice's laugh just as a safety measure for when Matthew made me laugh." Her role wasn't supposed to have the run that it did, but Maggie was thrilled: "It was always a surprise that she continued to have a life on the show. I was always so thrilled every time the writers decided to bring me back," she said. "It started out as a one-shot deal - come in, do one episode - and out of that came 10 years of this extraordinary, joyful experience." (British Glamour)
New "Today" show host Billy Bush said he first called his old "Access Hollywood" producer about his big Ryan Lochte scoop in Rio rather than telling "Today" brass because he didn't want to look like a diva. "I did call my old show and not my new show because as the new guy at the 'Today' show I don't want to be like 'Get me a crew in 10 minutes!'" Bush said on SiriusXM's "Today Show Radio." "They'd be like, 'Oh, he's so high-maintenance .?.?. So I called the old show, where I've been for 15 years where I said, 'Get me a crew!'" Page Six reported that when Bush spotted Lochte in Rio and landed the interview that rocked the Olympics, he first called "Access Hollywood" producer Rob Silverstein before capturing the chat on an iPhone.

(TMZ)

Other guests in the hotel's Gable & Lombard Penthouse included Kirsten Dunst and Nur Khan, and Rose was seen on the roof sitting on the hotel's giant sign. At 5?a.m. the band ordered up 50 egg sandwiches before Rose turned in for the night.

"I did call my old show and not my new show because as the new guy at the 'Today' show I don't want to be like 'Get me a crew in 10 minutes!'" Bush said on SiriusXM's "Today Show Radio."
