  • Matt Roberts, the former guitarist for the band 3 Doors Down, was found dead Saturday at the age of 38. At this point, cause unknown.
  • TV Land has canceled the "The Jim Gaffigan Show" after two seasons.
  • KFC gave away 3,000 bottles of sunscreen on Monday, to promote their extra-crispy chicken. It was labeled "Extra Crispy Sunscreen" and was supposed to smell like cooked chicken. They were gone in 2 hours.
  • They say there are parts of Louisiana that still have two feet of standing water on them.
  • "Madden NFL 17" hit store shelves on Tuesday.
  • In Albuquerque, New Mexico, an assistant-principal asked all the teachers at an elementary school to stop using the term, "boys and girls." It's because of a "Gender Identity Procedural Directive" to try and eliminate gender in their classrooms.
  • Meanwhile, a teacher in Texas sent home a note to parents saying that she is canceling homework for her kids this entire school year.
  • Chris Rock's divorce has been finalized.
  • Production on "Mission: Impossible 6" has come to a halt, as Tom Cruise gets into a dispute with producers over the money part.
  • In the northern U.S., we're losing around 3 minutes of sunshine every day right now.
  • Russia will not compete at the Paralympics in Rio after losing appeal against a ban imposed for state-sponsored doping.
  • In Egypt, the government has ordered 8 of their female news anchors lose weight so they could maintain "proper appearance."
  • Forbes Magazine says that Jennifer Lawrence is Hollywood's highest-paid actress for the second year in a row, earning around $46 million.
