Here's What Gwyneth Paltrow Would Change About Her Famous ''Conscious Uncoupling'' With Chris Martin. You know the saying -- hindsight is 20/20. While discussing how she grew her Goop empire and navigated the ropes from actress to business mogul for a LinkedIn interview, Gwyneth Paltrow admitted that if given the chance, she may have gone about her famous "conscious uncoupling" with ex-husband Chris Martin a different way. When asked if she would "consciously uncouple" on Goop again, Paltrow responded, "That is a good question. Not in the same way. It sort of wouldn't be appropriate now. It is a much bigger business and I'm not sure it would be the right place to do something like that. I'm not sure. That's a good question." She continued to explain, "At that time, goop wasn't the size that it is now, there were a lot less people. It was a very, very personal project for a long time and I wrote in the first person all the time, so it wasn't like a break. Now if you read the content, it is not in the first person anymore. At the time, it was still very small and very personal. It was such a difficult time in my life and I was trying so hard to protect my children and my family, Chris included. We were both fragile. It was really tough. To me it felt like this is a quiet way to do this and it is contained." Back in 2014, the longtime couple made the announcement that they were separating after 10 years together on Goop with a post titled "Conscious Uncoupling." Their statement read, "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate." The famous duo added, "We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner." As for the future of Goop itself, Paltrow admits she's never really sure where it could go. "I feel like we are just at like the acorn stage of fulfilling our potential. I have never known where goop is going, it has always caught me by surprise. We'll just have to see," she says. "I am open to anything. I could sell it. I could pass it to my kids." (Eonline)

Patrick Dempsey: Why I Called Off My Divorce to Jillian Dempsey. Patrick Dempsey's marriage is sacrosanct. So, when his wife Jillian Dempsey filed for divorce after 15 years of marriage in January 2015, his world turned upside down. So, he left ABC's Grey's Anatomy in April to focus on his film career -- and, more importantly, keeping his family together. As he filmed Bridget Jones's Baby with Colin Firth and Renee Zellweger in London (in theaters Sept. 16), the actor admits he never gave up hope that he and Jillian would reconnect. "Our marriage was not something I was prepared to let go of," he says People's Sept 19 issue, on newsstands Friday. "I didn't feel like we had done all the work. And we both wanted to do that work. That's where it started." Knowing his marriage could end was a "scary" feeling, he admits. "It's always destabilizing when you're potentially breaking up a family or you have a big section of your life that's ending." Patrick and Jillian, both 50, are parents to daughter Tallula Dempsey, 14, and twin sons Darby Dempsey, 9, and Sullivan Dempsey, 9. They began couples counseling after the divorce filing, which Patrick says was "very important" to giving them a "new beginning." Before long, they were back on track and taking family vacations again. Through therapy, Patrick realized, "Everybody has their own path. Jill and I decided it was time to work on our issues and improve. We wanted to be role models for our kids like, 'OK, if you have differences, you can work them out.'" The actor also realized he needed to make certain sacrifices. In addition to leaving Grey's Anatomy, he also began to pull back from one of his favorite pastimes: car racing. "You can only do one thing at a time and do it well. I [learned] to prioritize. Our union has to be the priority," Patrick says. "I wasn't prepared to give up on her and she wasn't either. We both wanted to fight for it." So, how does the couple keep their marriage strong today? "You've got to keep at it," he tells People. "You've got to communicate, and stay open and not get lazy. And not give up. And lots of sex!" (Eonline)

Hide your golf clubs, Gavin Rossdale. Elin Nordegren (ex-wife of Tiger Woods) and the rocker (ex-husband of Gwen Stefani) went on a first date in L.A. on Saturday, August 27, a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. Apparently they hit it off, too. Set up by mutual friends, the Florida-based mom of Sam, 9, and Charlie, 7, and the dad of Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2 are planning round two. "Elin flies to L.A. on her private plane a lot," says the source. "They want to make it work." The spark is new, but they already have something in common. Both the British singer, 50, and the Swedish former model, 36, have endured public cheating scandals in the past, though from different sides. Us exclusively revealed in November that Rossdale had cheated on his wife of 13 years, Stefani, with the couple's nanny Mindy Mann. While pregnant with their youngest son, Stefani discovered explicit texts between Rossdale and Mann on their shared iPad. They split in August 2015. Six years earlier, in 2009, Nordegren made headlines when news broke that then-husband Woods had been unfaithful. The couple finalized their divorce in August 2010. After their split, Nordegren dated billionaire Chris Cline for a year, and Woods was in a relationship with skier Lindsey Vonn until May 2015. Stefani, meanwhile, bounced back with country crooner boyfriend Blake Shelton, who also went through a divorce. "There was so much of an earthquake in my life. How did I survive that?" Stefani told Us of her divorce from Rossdale on June 2 in NYC. "I don't know, but here we are and my life is full of so many blessings." (US Weekly)

Rosie O'Donnell's Daughter Chelsea Undergoing Psychiatric Evaluation After Hospitalization. Rosie O'Donnell's formerly estranged daughter Chelsea O'Donnell has been hospitalized at a Long Island hospital. E! News has learned that the 19-year-old is currently undergoing psychiatric evaluation. While there's no word on when Chelsea is going to be released, we're told that she is "alert and awake" and "is safe." O'Donnell has been admitted to the state-wide program which aims to offer psychiatric evaluations on an emergency basis, as well as any subsequent treatment services such as interventions or medical professional referrals depending on the patient's needs. Chelsea will be evaluated by social workers, psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. O'Donnell's rep has no comment. Rosie O'Donnell and her daughter have had quite the strained relationship over the years, but seemed to have made amends recently. Just a week ago, Rosie shared a selfie with her teenage daughter in honor of her birthday, writing, "happy birthday chelsea belle !!! 19 today #believe." Their personal strife reached a peak last summer when the then 17-year-old was reported missing from the television personality's New York home. "Chelsea stopped taking her medicine and is in need of medical attention," a post read on Rosie's website at the time. "Any information please contact authorities." Police later found Chelsea in New Jersey at the house of a 26-year-old man with an arrest record. No arrests were made at the time because Chelsea was there voluntarily. After her 18th birthday a week later, Chelsea and Rosie's relationship faced another hurdle when her daughter opted to move in with her birth mother, Deanna Micoley, who gave Chelsea up for adoption as a baby in 1997. "Chelsea made a decision when she turned 18 that she wanted to go to her birth mother," Rosie's publicist told E! News at the time. "This was her choice." However, last month, there was a glimmer of hope in rekindling their relationship when Rosie shared a photo of herself with Chelsea, with the caption, "chelsea and me - what a difference a year makes. #hopelives." Zendaya Says She Was Refused Service Because of Her "Skin Tone." Zendaya isn't one to suffer in silence. After grocery shopping with a friend Tuesday afternoon, the 20-year-old K.C. Undercover star shared a Snapchat story in which she detailed their disappointing encounter with a sales clerk. "So we just got out of this Vons. Now, I am trying to buy a lot of gift cards. Now, there's some certain, specific things you have to do when it comes to buying gift cards," Zendaya said. "There are certain limits and some things, which is understandable. OK, cool. So I'll take a less amount, whatever. But the lady that was helping us -- I don't think she was a fan of our skin tone." "Not at all," Zendaya's friend chimed in. "She was rude." "Extremely," the actress said in agreement. "In fact, I recall her not trying to help us at all, saying that we couldn't buy the gift cards, and then throwing my wallet. You can't make this s--t up. I just can't make this s--t up! You know? This is what we deal with!" Zendaya said, adding that the sales clerk gave her a nasty look as if to convey the message, "You can't afford this." But, according to the Disney star, "It was $400!" "Long story short," Zendaya said, "there is so much progress to be done in our world." Still, the sales clerk's demeanor shocked her. "My cards were loose. So, like, my card fell on the scanner, and she was about to keep scanning the next person. I was like, 'That's my card! What are you doing?'" she shared. "You know what? It's all love. Maybe she'll go on to have a wonderful life." Later, after she had returned home, Zendaya gave a "shout-out" to the store's manager "for coming out and helping" after her experience with the sales clerk. "Got my gift cards!" she said. Vons has not commented on the incident via its social media. (Eonline)

Lindsay Lohan Gets To Keep Her Engagement Ring As A Sort Of 'Severance Package' Following Her Split With Egor Tarabasov! Lindsay Lohan may be down one fiance, but she's keeping her engagement ring! While it's customary for the person who called off the engagement to relinquish the rights to the ring, it seems Egor Tarabasov is more than willing to let his former flame keep the emerald dazzler he gave her. We mean, after the Russian businessman was caught getting physical with LiLo it's the least he can do! According to Page Six, Miz Lohan is expected to keep the $300,000 ring as a sort of "severance package" from Tarabasov. Hmm, very interesting! In fact, one source close to the Mean Girls star's ex dished: "That's her severance package. When she runs out of money, she can sell it on 47th Street for $60,000." WHOA! Talk about throwing shade! Of course, this update follows Egor's parents' threat to freeze his trust fund. Apparently, the Tarabasovs aren't thrilled with the drama surrounding their son and are ready for him to get serious. An insider noted: "The father has told Egor, 'You had your Hollywood fling, now it's time to move on to a Russian girl and start working.' The father is considering, as a last resort, to freeze his trust fund in order to get some sense into him." Perhaps Egor's family thinks if Lohan can keep the ring, their son can cut all ties with the A-lister? Who knows. Regardless, we honestly think a bit of hard work would do Tarabasov some good. Not to mention, we're glad Lindsay gets to keep the ring as she's been relatively attached to it these days. Sigh! (Perez Hilton)

Ellie Goulding is rumored to have left the GQ Awards Tuesday night with ex-boyfriend Dougie Poynter. Photos have emerged of the pair hanging out at the awards and posing for pictures together, but it seems Ellie and Dougie may have continued the party elsewhere afterwards. We're wishing this news is true as the duo made up one of our favorite cute couples from the last few years. A source told the Sun Online: "Ellie and Dougie were hanging out in the ceremony area after it had finished and most people had left." They continued: "Dougie was being very attentive and lent in to hug his ex and kiss her on the cheek before they headed towards the exit together. They walked separately but were very friendly and amicable with each other." This comes after both Ellie and Dougie have both spoken in the past about their continued friendship after their break-up. We're praying this one's true! (British Glamour)

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez raced to the courthouse last year, trying to beat each other to the punch in filing divorce papers, yet a year later they are poised to dismiss the case and stay married. We found a legal doc in which the clerk in divorce court sent a notice to both Halle and Olivier, saying they've been asleep at the wheel and done nothing to make the divorce final. The clerk issued an ultimatum ... either do something or the case will be dismissed. We've spoken with multiple sources, on both Halle and Olivier's side, and they say the same thing. Neither is in a rush to make the divorce final, and they're fine with staying married. As for why ... we're told Halle isn't convinced she wants a divorce. We're told she still thinks Olivier might change, especially in the anger management department, and if he does she thinks the marriage could work. Olivier's clearly had anger problems ... the last straw was when he pushed an LAX employee with a baby car seat and got in trouble with the law. There are other reasons why both Olivier and Halle aren't going through with the divorce. We're told they're getting along great and both are actively involved in parenting both 3-year-old Maceo and 8-year-old Nahla. Although Olivier isn't Nahla's dad, he's still actively involved in her life. And there's another reason. Halle -- who just turned 50 -- isn't crazy about getting a third divorce. She doesn't think it's good for her, or her kids. So, we're told the divorce will probably just go away. For now, they're just friends and good parents, but who knows. (TMZ)

Madonna Settles Child Custody Battle With Guy Ritchie. Madonna can finally close the chapter on the custody battle that pinned her and ex-husband Guy Ritchie against each other. E! News can confirm that after nine months of fighting over their 16-year-old son Rocco Ritchie, the two have come to an agreement. The details surrounding the stipulations have not been released. It is unclear which parent Rocco will live with. The legal turmoil spans back to December 2015, when Rocco refused to return to the United States despite a court order that said the teenager would return to his mother in New York after being with his director father in London. In the months that followed, Madonna seemingly pleaded with her eldest son for a reconciliation via multiple social media tributes. The drama seeped into her professional life, as a March 2016 performance saw Madonna become overcome with emotion while dedicating "LA Vie en Rose" to her then-estranged son. "That is my son, who I mentioned earlier. He is actually 15 and it's true, there is no love stronger than a mother for her son," she told the crowd. "And, if I talk about him too much, I might cry. But I would like to dedicate this song to him. It's a love song for a man, but I know he'll be one, one day. I hope he hears this somewhere and knows how much I miss him." Much has been made of the case's very public nature, with a judge urging the A-list exes to work together to amicably settle the custody dispute for the sake of their son. "For all the media coverage, comment and analysis, this is a case born out of circumstances that arise for countless separated parents the world over," the judge said. Earlier in March, a New York Supreme Court judged urged the same thing, adding they should also stop putting pressure on their young son. Madonna and Ritchie divorced in 2008 and also have another son, David Banda, 10. Madge is also mother to two other children, Lourdes Leon, 19, and Mercy James, 9. Ritchie is now married to Jacqui Ainsley, with whom he has three children. E! News has reached out to both Madonna and Ritchie for comment. (Eonline)

Amber Heard Drops Lawsuit Against Johnny Depp's Comedian Pal Doug Stanhope. Amber Heard is cutting all legal ties to Johnny Depp, including his friend. Less than a month since settling her divorce from her ex for $7 million in charity donations, the actress has dropped her lawsuit against Depp's stand-up comedian pal, Doug Stanhope. According to documents obtained by E! News, Heard's legal team filed a stipulation for dismissal of the case and for each party to handle their own attorney fees. According to Heard's lawyer, the dismissal of the case is the result of her larger settlement with Depp. "I can tell you that Ms. Heard and Mr. Stanhope did NOT reach any agreement to settle the case," Heard's attorney said in a statement to E! News. "No money changed hands between them, and there is no confidentiality agreement between them. In fact, I have been unable to reach Doug for some time and given his lifestyle, where he lives and where he travels, I'd be surprised if he even knows anything about the conclusion of the case. Instead, the dismissal of the case against Mr. Stanhope was negotiated as part of a larger deal between Ms. Heard and her ex-husband, Johnny Depp. Doug Stanhope is one of Johnny Depp's closest friends, and it appears that Johnny was able to convince Amber to drop the lawsuit against Doug as part of a global resolution of their divorce." In the statement, Heard's attorney also noted that the dismissal was done "without prejudice," meaning she could re-file the lawsuit within one year of the date Stanhope published his article about Heard. "As far as we know, Ms. Heard has no plans to re-file the case against Mr. Stanhope, but that option remains available to her," the statement concluded. Heard first filed a defamation lawsuit against Stanhope in June after he published a guest article titled Johnny Depp Is Being Blackmailed by Amber Heard -- Here's How I Know for The Wrap. Within the article, the comedian wrote that "she was going to pull off some kind of ruse to f--k him over" and that she would "lie about him publicly in any and every possible duplicitous way if he didn't agree to her terms." "The Complaint alleges that Stanhope is a close friend of Johnny Depp and, as part of a coordinated effort, wrote a highly defamatory article about Ms. Heard, filled with completely false, highly defamatory and very hurtful statements. Ms. Heard seeks the maximum possible jury award, and will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the lawsuit to Chrysalis, a domestic violence shelter in Arizona, in an effort to counter the setback made to women by the defendants' defamatory article and related wrongful acts," Charles J. Harder, Heard's civil litigation counsel, told E! News in a statement at the time of the filing. Just a few days after the divorce settlement was confirmed, Heard seemed to be back in the swing of things with celebrity friends Margot Robbie, Margot's boyfriend Tom Ackerley and Cara Delevingne during a night out in London, including a Rolling Stones exhibition and late-night eats at the Ivy Kensington Brassiere. Meanwhile, Depp has already sent the first installments of Heard's charity donations to the ACLU and Children's Hospital, though Amber's counsel insist the payments are not the right amount. While Amber "appreciates Johnny Depp's novel interest in supporting two of her favorite charities," a member of Heard's team told E! News, "if Johnny wishes to change the settlement agreement, we must insist that he honor the full amount by donating $14M to charity, which, after accounting for his tax deduction, is equal to his $7M payment obligation to Amber...We would also insist that the full amount be paid immediately and not drawn out over many years." "Anything less would be a transparent attempt by Johnny's counsel, Laura Wasser and Patti Glaser, to reduce their client's true payment by half under the guise of newfound concern for charities that he has never previously supported," the statement concluded. Depp's team has not yet responded to E!'s request for comment. (Eonline)

Britney Spears can finally breathe a sigh of relief... Last week, the Make Me... singer settled her lawsuit with ex-manager Sam Lutfi. As we reported, Lutfi claims the musician owes him money for his services. He also believes Spears and her family defamed him, and blamed him for her infamous 2008 hospitalization. After the case was dismissed in 2012, Sam appealed and was able to revive his allegations. According to sources, the pop star paid her former friend in the low six figures. Apparently, she was better off giving him the dough because it would've cost her half a mil in legal fees to defend her side. We're just glad this nightmare is officially over! (Perez Hilton)

A celebrity stylist who has worked with Gigi Hadid and Alicia Silverstone is accused of stealing designer goods from a tony Manhattan store -- and then peddling them to a resale shop. Colin Megaro, 38, swiped a trove of Hermès and Chanel accessories totaling $60,325 in value from Madison Avenue Couture, where he worked as a social-media consultant, court records charge. His illicit haul included a $30,000 Hermès blue Izmir handbag, a $9,500 blue Hermès De Prusse leather bag, a$3,400 Hermès black leather Rouge Pivoine wallet, a $7,800 black Matte Python Chanel bag and a $2,100 Chanel black vintage leather handbag, the papers claim. Megaro, who lives in the posh East Harlem condo Observatory Place, then packed up the stolen accessories and shipped them to the resale shop Fashionphile, the documents say. Fashionophile subsequently deposited $13,000 into a bank account associated with Megaro, the records say. Madison Avenue Couture finally put two and two together after learning that the items were missing during an inventory check, a source said. Police arrested Megaro on June 22 and charged him with grand larceny and possession of stolen property. A worker for Madison Avenue Couture told The Post that she was shocked by Megaro's alleged thievery. "Given who he had worked with, given what his background was, it came as a surprise to me. Why would he do something so stupid?" the employee wondered. Megaro was released without bail at his arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court. He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday for possible grand-jury indictment. Megaro, who has appeared on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," is currently working on "Breaking Amish" and "Vanderpump Rules." He did not return a call for comment. His lawyer, Roger Adler, said, "Mr. Megaro has denied the allegations and will be addressing the matter in court [Wednesday] for the first time since his arraignment on the complaint." (Page Six)

Kylie Jenner has a lot of nerve threatening a company that will freeze off your fat ... just because the model happens to vaguely resemble her ... so claims the company. Dr. FatOff is indignant after reading our story over the weekend ... that Kylie is contemplating legal action against the company for deceiving prospective patients into believing she's endorsing him. Dr. FatOff's lawyer fired off a scathing letter to Kylie's legal eagle, informing him the model is none other than the daughter of one of the company's managers ... and is nothing like Jenner. The letter says the model, Cassandra, is primarily Latina and Indian. It goes on to say Cassandra, an aspiring model and singer, was hired for her own look and not because of some vague resemblance. The letter tells Kylie and company to pound sand. Ed Meyer, the rep for Dr. FatOff, tells us the billboard is staying up. (TMZ)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Why Mark Ballas did not return to 'Dancing With the Stars.' "Dancing With the Stars" fans are pretty bummed that dancer Mark Ballas won't be appearing on season 23, but ET has learned that Ballas has clinched an exciting new gig! A source tells ET that the 30-year-old dancer is actually moving to New York City this month where he'll be living for a year, so that he can appear in a main role on Broadway's hit show "Jersey Boys." The musical tells the behind-the-scenes story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, the band responsible for such classics as "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Walk Like a Man." Ballas hinted at his new career opportunity in a heartfelt, handwritten letter to his "DWTS" fans, which he posted on Twitter on Wednesday. "I wanted to hand write this letter to personally thank each and every one of you for the support over the years," Ballas wrote. "I am incredibly moved and grateful for all your messages over the past 24 hours. I know many of you are concerned and curious. I want to wish my "DWTS" comrades luck this season." "I'll miss competing and creating outside the box," he added. "However I am looking forward to this new chapter and venture that is beginning shortly. I will soon have news for you all on where you can find me, I hope to see many of you there." Ballas started competing on season five of "DWTS" in 2007, and hasn't missed a season since. He's won the mirror ball trophy twice, once with figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi in season six, and again in season eight with gymnast Shawn Johnson. The dancer is also no stranger to acting in musicals. He played the lead role in the musical "Copacabana," and also had a role in the U.K. National Tour of "Maria de Buenos Aires." While "DWTS" fans will undoubtedly miss Ballas, plenty of popular pros will be back for the hit ABC show's upcoming season. Aside from Maksim Chmerkovskiy's big return, Cheryl Burke and Derek Hough are also back. Hough, who took the spring season of DWTS off after winning season 21 with partner Bindi Irwin, was originally set to play the lead in the Broadway revival of "Singin' in the Rain," but unforeseen circumstances caused a delay in plans. "I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason," Hough, 31, wrote on Instagram announcing his big return. (ET)

Katy Perry Reveals Her One Complaint About Dating Orlando Bloom. Like many Angelenos, Katy Perryjust can't get on board with the tedious drive to Malibu. And now that Orlando Bloomis her boyfriend, the "Rise" songstress has most likely faced her fair share of traffic on Pacific Coast Highway, an aspect of dating the actor she's quick to lament over. Speaking to Women's Wear Daily, Perry dished, "My boyfriend lives in Malibu and getting used to that [drive] was like, 'Are you kidding me? What kind of life is this?'" A native of the nearby beachfront city Santa Barbara, Calif., the 31-year-old continued, "There's no pop-over and I never really got used to Malibu 'cause it's halfway to Santa Barbara, so I'm always just going to Santa Barbara then. I get the whole coming to L.A. and living by the beach thing. But it's really like, it's so far, nobody [who lives in town] is going to come see you." The pair appear to have struck a balance when it comes to visiting each other though, with Perry revealing that Bloom has visited her hometown before. "I still spend a lot of time there because I grew up there," Katy said, later adding, "I grew up in the poorest part of Santa Barbara... Actually my boyfriend didn't even believe me and I was like, 'I'm going to drive you by my house' and you can Google Earth it. I basically had a crazy church-filled, God squad upbringing. I lived on food stamps and food bank in Santa Barbara, which is like a crazy juxtaposition to live in beauty and still have a bit of a struggle, but that's just because of the nature of the church." But as for how their relationship is progressing eight months after they initially sparked romance rumors, it's not as if Katy's trek to Malibu is a total deal breaker. In fact, a source told E! News the lovebirds have discussed marriage and children, adding, "They are in love and happier than ever. [Orlando] would like to get engaged to [Katy] before the year is up." Our insider also told us, "[Marriage and children] is something Katy has always wanted when she met the man she was ready to settle down with." (Eonline)

Faith Hill and Her Daughter Calm Any First Day of College Nerves With Epic Taylor Swift Sing-Along. There really is a Taylor Swift song for any situation. For some parents, this Labor Day weekend wasn't about days by the beach or BBQs in nothing but white attire. Instead, it was all about sending their son or daughter off to school. With summer coming to an unofficial end, Faith Hill decided to hit the road and send her daughter Maggie to college. With the windows down and the backseat filled with dorm room necessities, this mother-daughter duo chose to turn up the music and sing out loud and proud. Can we get some "Bad Blood" music up in this family van? "Day 1: #BadBlood singalong w/ Maggie on the way to college!" Faith shared on Instagram with a video of the candid moment. News. "We feel pretty happy in the life that we've built together and the community we live in and the way we live our lives." Now if only we knew what Faith and Maggie's next song was going to be. Is it too much to wish for some "Tim McGraw?" (Eonline)

The mystery fan who bought Justin Bieber lunch at Subway when the pop star's credit card was embarrassingly declined was living in a New York homeless shelter just a year ago, Page Six has learned. And the guy offered Bieber financial aid so the star wouldn't have to face paparazzi outside where his girlfriend, Sofia Richie, waited in a car. Bieber's credit card was declined at a Subway sandwich shop in West Hollywood, Calif., last week when it was reported an anonymous fan stepped in and saved his bacon. "[Justin] put his card into the machine and it was declined. He said, 'I have to run out and get another card.' I decided to pay it for him to spare him the second trip out into the crush of about 20 photographers," Kody Christiansen exclusively told us. "I said, 'I got it.' And he asked if I was sure." And unlike the singer's bratty reputation, "He was so thankful." Christiansen -- an actor who's now on his feet also working as a waiter at Soho restaurant Parigot -- has spent time living in "four or five homeless shelters," he says, due to drug and alcohol addiction while chasing an acting career. (He also says he was the "No. 1 Britney Spears impersonator in the world" before his life hit the skids.) Meanwhile, little Bieber's Fresh Value Meal -- plus three milks and some cookies -- totaled around $16. Christiansen told us he was planning to keep it all a secret till his good deed leaked. "I wasn't going to tell anyone out of respect for him .?.?. I didn't want it to get out that he had his card declined," he said. The former homeless man was in LA to sign copies of his memoir, "Hollywood Heartbreak, New York Dreams." "I told him I was having a book signing and invited him," Christiansen told us of Bieber. "He said, 'I'm actually leaving town. I will definitely read this.' And he patted me on the shoulder and left. "He was totally cool with me and took an interest in my book. I was living in a New York City homeless shelter a year ago, and now I'm buying one of the biggest stars in the world lunch." (Page Six)

Bella Hadid made a touching tribute to her mother Yolanda Foster who is suffering from Lyme disease as she was crowned Model of The Year at The GQ Awards Tuesday night. The stunning 19-year-old was shocked to have received the award at London's Tate Modern, saying: "This is crazy. I've worked really hard it's crazy to be recognized." She also took the opportunity to say some lovely words about her mother, Yolanda, who has been suffering with Lyme disease since being diagnosed in 2012. Bella, who attended the awards with her mother, said: "This is the first time my mum has been out of bed in four years and got her hair and make-up done and I'm so happy she's here." The young supermodel and her brother, Anwar Hadid, were also diagnosed with the disease which has no definitive cure in 2012. Emily Ratajkowski Says She's Been Called A 'Desperate Attention Whore' So Much That She Almost Got Used To It! Emily Ratajkowski has had it with double standards. The brunette beauty graced the cover of Glamour's October 2016 issue -- along with Kate Upton and Joan Smalls -- and penned a powerful op-ed about sexism within the pages. The model recalled a time earlier this year, when she had been very vocal about supporting Bernie Sanders on his quest for the Democratic nomination. The Blurred Lines video vixen remembered how, in February, she posted a photo from the Senator's New Hampshire rally, and shared a video of her speech about his campaign platforms. Afterwards, Miz Ratajkowski says she was severely bullied on social media, writing: "Commenters said I had 'an excess of beauty and lack of brain' and told me to 'shut up and show us your tits.' But I was also criticized in a very specific way -- for seeking attention. They wrote me off as 'a desperate attention whore,' saying I was taking part in the conversation only because everybody else was too." Just disgusting. The 25-year-old admitted that this wasn't the first time she was slammed for supposedly seeking attention, adding: "I realized then that I've been called an attention whore so often that I had almost gotten used to it. And as women we are accused of seeking attention more than men are, whether for speaking out politically, as I did, for dressing a certain way, or for even posting a selfie." The Gone Girl actress went on to explain that men don't get criticized in their pursuit of attention: "Our culture has a double standard that runs so deep, many women have actually built up an automatic defense -- attempting to be a step ahead of potential critics by making sure we have 'real' reasons for anything we say or do." The gorgeous gal also mentioned how this sexist double standard led internet trolls to victim-shame Karina Vetrano after she was raped and murdered while out for a jog in August: "One commenter said, 'Poor girl yes. But she put herself out there like a Kardashian carbon copy.' Later he added, 'If you're going to be out there, be prepared for the attention, good and bad.' This is how far the attention accusation can go: It validates the idea that this woman's actions -- wearing makeup, posting selfies -- might have contributed to her senseless murder. Would you have seen the same type of comment had the victim been male? Doubtful. Women should be allowed to be themselves and live the way they want to, just as Vetrano did." Those comments are absolutely awful, and we agree that women shouldn't constantly have to worry about being perceived as vain or desperate. The fierce female even called for a change to our societal standards: "We shouldn't be weighed down with the responsibility of explaining our every move. We shouldn't have to apologize for wanting attention either. We don't owe anyone an explanation. It's not our responsibility to change the way we are seen -- it's society's responsibility to change the way it sees us." (Perez Hilton)

Miss Japan 2016: Half-Indian Elephant Trainer Defends Her Crown. Priyanka Yoshikawa is keeping her crowned head held high. Yoshikawa, a half-Indian, half-Japanese woman, was crowned Miss Japan 2016 Monday, making her only the second biracial beauty queen in Japan's history. The elephant trainer's crown comes only one year after Ariana Miyamoto, a half-black, half Japanese woman, won the title of Miss Universe Japan 2015. At the time, Miyamoto faced harsh criticism for being biracial, and now, Yoshikawa is enduring the same scrutiny. While Yoshikawa, 22, has received plenty of support since receiving her crown, she has also had to deal with harsh critics. "Can't racially pure Japanese apply?' asked one Twitter user. But in an interview with CNN, Yoshikawa defended her heritage and her crown. "My dad's Indian. Yes, I cannot change that, but I was born in Japan and my mom is Japanese. I was raised Japanese. I can't change that either," she said. "I'm Japanese. I'll keep being me and that's Japanese and that's the only thing I can do." Because she was raised Japanese, Yoshikawa said she feels no need to prove her background to anyone. "I'm Japanese and my passport is Japanese," she continued. "There's nothing else I can do to prove that." Tomoko Morikawa, director of the Miss World Japan Office, told CNN that Japanese beauty standards are changing. She also said that Yoshikawa was selected as victor based on her looks and her societal contributions. "We have not received any critical comment on her so far. She is bilingual and international, she is a totally suitable person represent Japan on the world stage," said Morikawa. When Miyamoto found herself having to defend her crown, she also told reporters that while she didn't necessarily "look Japanese" on the outside didn't mean she wasn't Japanese on the inside. In addition to being born and raised Nagasaki, the young adult was also a Japanese citizen who spoke the language fluently. (Eonline)

Maxwell, Mary J. Blige Announce U.S. Dates for King and Queen of Hearts Tour. Maxwell and Mary J. Blige will be heating up stages across the U.S. this winter on their King and Queen of Hearts Tour. Announced Sept. 7, the 24-date sweep will kick off Nov. 5 in Baltimore and wrap Dec. 14 in Chicago, with stops in New York, Detroit, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Preceding the pair's domestic run will be their 10-date international swing. Opening Oct. 15 in Frankfurt, Germany, Blige and Maxwell will perform in Paris, Stockholm, Amsterdam and London before finishing up Oct. 30 in Manchester, U.K. For many fans, this pairing of two of New York's and R&B/soul's finest no doubt represents a perfect match that's been way too long in coming, which Maxwell and Blige readily acknowledge. "Maxwell is a man that we need as women," says Blige, who coined the tour's name. "He sings from his heart and soul with an amazing voice. When you hear him, you feel comforted, good, sexy, sly. You feel like you want to go out with your girls and then you also feel like you want to lay up with your man. He just gives you that freedom as a woman to be all those sexy, empowering and beautiful things. Women need to feel like there's some man out there that really cares and will speak to them through song." Adds Maxwell, who just completed a 25-date tour on behalf of his black SUMMERS 'night album, "This is a bucket list situation for me, something we've been trying to bring together because our audiences are each other's. Mary's soulful voice and the way she connects with the audience; her warmth and giving nature in an industry that can make you cold, stale and jaded: I've learned a lot from her in that regard. And this isn't just a love fest for people who have followed our music. This is a celebration of New York, R&B/soul music and the '90s." As for what fans can expect performance-wise, Maxwell and Blige say they're opting for more freestyle versus planned. "Anything can happen," promises Maxwell, hinting at potential surprise guests and pairing up together on songs. "Once we start rehearsing, we'll sit down and pull some stuff together organically." Maxwell & Mary J. Blige "We're definitely at service here," says Blige. "The goal is to have a great show while making people feel good and go home empowered." There's also one more thing that fans can look forward to after the tour: Maxwell and Blige plan to team up on a song for the new album that she's recording.

Zayn Malik's One Direction-Inspired TV Show: Simon Cowell Says, 'He Should Have Come to Me'. As Zayn Malik readies a new TV show for NBC inspired by his whirlwind stint as a member of One Direction, his outspoken former label boss Simon Cowell told ET he would have liked to have been asked. "I think he should have come to me with it," the media mogul told ET's Denny Directo at a live taping of America's Got Talent on Tuesday. Malik, 23, will be an executive producer on the show, Boys, which will follow the ups and downs of being in a famous boy band. He will be working with Law & Order creator Dick Wolf and Universal Television. "Nothing surprises me anymore," Cowell said of the announcement. Cowell formed One Direction on the U.K. show X Factor, and his Syco Records label released all five of their hit albums. "I do actually believe that when they've got these ideas, bearing in mind where we started, they should actually come to me," he said Tuesday. Malik left One Direction in 2015. In March, he released a solo album, "Mind of Mine," which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200, and is the best-performing debut album so far this year. (Billboard)

Ice Cube 'Not Losing No Sleep' Over Death of Former Manager Jerry Heller. It's an understatement to say that there was no love lost between Ice Cube and his one-time manager, Jerry Heller. If Cube's vicious 1991 diss track "No Vaseline" and the chronicling of the rapper's ugly break from N.W.A in 1989 in Straight Outta Compton aren't proof enough, check out what Cube said over the weekend when asked about Heller's death on Friday at age 75. "I didn't have no emotions. I'm just glad I'm here with my brothers today... I ain't gonna pop no champagne, but I ain't gonna shed no tears either," Cube told Detroit's Hot 107.5 in an interview on Saturday to promote a show that night featuring former N.W.A members DJ Yella and MC Ren, among others. "It is what it is, you know. We come here to pass and he's outta here, so you know. Like I said, I'm not losing no sleep over that one." Eazy's daughter, E.B. Write, told TMZ that despite the bad blood between Heller and some former N.W.A members, she supported her late father's mentor/business partner. I'm still depressed about it," Wright told the gossip site. "I stand behind Jerry Heller to the fullest. He was like a second father to my dad, so I'm gonna call him like another grandfather to me. I'm very sad about his passing and just hoping to continue my father's legacy and Jerry's and get out the truth." Heller is credited with helping late N.W.A member Eazy-E form Ruthless Records in 1987 and he managed the group early on, cementing a father-son-like relationship with Eazy, but rubbing some of the group's other members the wrong way. Cube split after the band's 1988 debut, Straight Outta Compton, over his claims that he wasn't getting paid properly and iconic producer Dr. Dre left in 1991 over similar claims; neither sued and Heller was never found guilty of financial impropriety. Drake's 'One Dance' Is the No. 1 Song of the Summer. The track led the weekly Songs of the Summer chart each week from start to finish. Summer '16 officially belonged to Drake, as the superstar's "One Dance," featuring WizKid and Kyla, is Billboard's No. 1 song of the summer of 2016. The collab crowns Billboard's annual Songs of the Summer chart, which tracks the most popular hits based on cumulative performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Billboard's Songs of the Summer Chart Impressively, "Dance" led Songs of the Summer for all 14 of the survey's weeks this year. It's the third song this decade to rule from start to finish, following Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," featuring Charli XCX, in 2014, and Katy Perry's "California Gurls," featuring Snoop Dogg, in 2010. Drake earns his first summer chart championship. He previously ranked in the season's final top 10 with his debut hit "Best I Ever Had" (No. 4, 2009) and "Find Your Love" (No. 9, 2010). Last year, Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again," featuring Charlie Puth, had led Songs of the Summer most of the season (for 13 of the chart's first 15 tracking weeks), before OMI's "Cheerleader" (which ranked at No. 16 on the season's first Songs of the Summer survey) pushed to the pinnacle to win the season's title. "Dance" first hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 dated May 21. The Songs of the Summer running tally covered the weeks dated June 18 through Sept. 17 this year; on June 18, "Dance" was in its fourth of 10 weeks atop the Hot 100, and the song would remain in the Hot 100's top 10 for the entire summer tracking period, currently placing at No. 9. "Dance" dominates as the top song of the summer of 2016 thanks in large part to radio airplay, as it was the most-heard song on U.S. airwaves during the chart's tracking period, accumulating a monstrous 2 billion in radio audience in that span, according to Nielsen Music. Summer Songs 1958-2015: The Top 10 Tunes of Each Summer Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!" is the No. 2 song of the summer. The track debuted atop the May 28 Hot 100 (before the Songs of the Summer tracking span) and spent the first 10 weeks of the seasonal chart's tracking period in the Hot 100's top five. Timberlake lands his second runner-up ranking for the summer and first as a soloist; back in 2000, *NSYNC finished the season at No. 2 with "It's Gonna Be Me" (below Matchbox Twenty's "Bent"). And, while it ends summer as the No. 2 song of the season overall, "Feeling" was the top-selling song in that stretch: 1.28 million downloads sold (of 2 million total to date). (The track could have a new life ahead: It's from the movie Trolls, not due in theaters until November.) The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down," featuring Daya, is the No. 3 song of the summer of 2016, and Sia's "Cheap Thrills," featuring Sean Paul, is No. 4. The latter song began at No. 19 on the first Songs of the Summer chart and finishes the season in the top five fueled by its four-week reign atop the Hot 100 (Aug. 6-Aug. 27). Calvin Harris' "This Is What You Came For," featuring Rihanna, wraps as the No. 5 song of the summer. Just beyond the Songs of the Summer's final top five of 2016, Desiigner's "Panda" places at No. 6 and rules as the most-streamed song of the season: 302.7 million U.S. streams over the June 18-Sept. 17 tracking period. Rounding out the Songs of the Summer's top 10 are Rihanna's "Needed Me" (No. 7); Twenty One Pilots' "Ride" (No. 8); Fifth Harmony's "Work From Home," featuring Ty Dolla $ign (No. 9); and Adele's "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" (No. 10). Priyanka Chopra Wants to Be the Next James Bond, Not Bond Girl. Daniel Craig might have been the last James Bond, but Priyanka Chopra is ready to take over the role. The Quantico actress is Refinery29's latest (Un)Cover star and opens up about her desire to be the next James Bond. To be clear, she doesn't want to be the next Bond Girl, she has her eye on the actual international (wo)man of mystery. "Look. It's a story about a British guy who happens to be a white dude. There's nothing wrong with that, whoever came up with it,'" she says. "And not Jane," she adds. "She should be James Bond, and she should be able to sell it. Why not?" But Chopra will next appear on the big screen in Dwayne Johnson's remake of Baywatch. In the movie, the brunette bombshell will play the villain, and she couldn't be more excited to use her feminine powers in a "delectable and evil" way. "I'm this gorgeous bombshell in couture on the beach," she tells Refinery29. "This was so much fun, because it was not like a badass villain who's getting into a fight. This was a woman using her woman skills to be a villain." Chopra transitioned from being a Bollywood star to a Hollywood star in what seems like a blink of an eye, but despite her personal successes, she still says there's improvement to be done for all women. "I know everything is about diversity right now. But I think it should be about humanity. It's 2016. It's so easy to separate ourselves and become smaller and smaller pieces of humanity," she explains. "I don't like the phrase 'woman of color.' I feel like that puts women in a box," she adds. "I'm a woman, whether I'm white, black, brown, green, blue, or pink -- whatever. I think we need to start looking beyond that. It would be a big win for women, period." There is one woman in particular Chopra sees as an icon for women: Dame Helen Mirren. "How epic was she," Chopra asks, rhetorically. "That's what feminism is. Don't judge me for being me, just like you don't judge the boys. That's what we all want -- equality in treatment." (Eonline)

Clint Eastwood Recreates Molly Shannon's 'Superstar' Move on 'Tonight Show'. It seems the 'Sully' director is a fan of Shannon's 1999 comedy. Clint Eastwood appeared on The Tonight Showon Tuesday night and found himself somewhat starstruck -- not by host Jimmy Fallon, but by the episode's other guest: Molly Shannon. The Sully director briefly discussed the Other People actress to Fallon and, with his own subtlety, impersonated Shannon by recalling her signature Superstar move of putting her fingertips under her arms and smelling them. Eastwood also spoke to Fallon about driving his truck and was eventually convinced to take a warped selfie using Fallon's new app, Bonk. (Hollywood Reporter)

Joe Oppenheimer Named Acting Head of BBC Films. The company confirms the departure of Christine Langan, who will join Steve Coogan's Baby Cow Productions. The BBC on Wednesday confirmed the news many in the British film industry had heard almost two months ago: that Christine Langan was leaving as head of BBC Films after running the company for seven years. "I've loved working with Christine," said BBC director general Tony Hall. "She has a real eye for the popular as well as the idiosyncratic. She's collaborative, ambitious, a brilliant enabler of ideas -- and a great ambassador for our country's film industry. She's done a great job for BBC Films. We'll miss her." Langan's departure ends her 10 years with the acclaimed department, during which time she's helped support more than 70 independent British films, including recent hits Brooklyn and I, Daniel Blake, as well as such upcoming titles as A United Kingdom and The Mercy. She leaves to join Baby Cow Productions, Steve Coogan's banner, as CEO. She previously worked with the company on Armando Iannucci's In the Loop. "BBC Films is a precious resource to independent filmmakers in the U.K. and audiences everywhere," said Langan. "It's been a truly great privilege and very fulfilling experience to run the division and I'm extremely grateful, both to the BBC for the wonderful opportunity and to an amazingly hardworking and dedicated team, without whom it wouldn't have been possible." Coogan described Christine's arrival as a "dream appointment" for Baby Cow. "She is universally respected as a smart, insightful executive with great taste," he said. "I experienced this up close when I was developing the film Philomena. Christine's input, guidance and passion helped bring it to life in the best possible way. She combines an ambition and vision for the company with a real understanding of how to nurture creative collaborations. Talent trusts her." Joe Oppenheimer, commissioning executive at BBC Films, will take on the role of acting head of the film operation while the BBC begins looking for a permanent replacement. (Hollywood Reporter)

How an American Screenwriter Broke Into Bollywood. "They don't call it an industry, they call it a film fraternity," says Sri Rao, who wrote 'Baar Baar Dekho,' of the traditionally closed nature of the Bollywood community. Sri Rao grew up loving Bollywood films like the Romeo & Juliet-inspired Ek Duuje Ke Liye and the epic romance Umrao Jaan. But, as an American raised in suburban Pennsylvania, he never dreamed he'd be able to work in Bollywood. Now the New York-based writer has done just that: He's become the first American to pen a major Bollywood movie. Baar Baar Dekho (Look Again & Again), a time-traveling love story starring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra, opens around the world in September. It's already getting plenty of buzz: The first song from the film broke the record for most YouTube views in 24 hours for any Indian movie in history and the trailer was No. 1 on iTunes India just hours after it was released. But it wasn't an easy journey: the $2.32 billion Bollywood industry is an infamously closed community. "They don't call it an industry, they call it a film fraternity," says Rao, whose parents are from India. "The major directors, writers and actors all were born and raised in the industry." It took Rao years to break in. After working on General Hospital: Night Shift and producing Bollywood films, 2009's New York and 2010's Badmaa$h Company, he decided to write the script for Baar Baar Dekho. "I wanted to explore what happens after happily ever after," says Rao of the story. "I was thinking about getting married myself at the time that I wrote the script, and I was curious about what my life with my husband was going to look like over the course of our lives together." He took the Hindi-language script to India in 2011, but was met with little interest. "The response that I got was that it's a really interesting story, but it feels really American," he says, adding that the time Bollywood was still very much shying away from anything that felt too "Hollywood." But when his CAA agents shopped it around a couple years later, two of India's biggest production studios, Excel Entertainment and Dharma Productions, signed on to produce it. But there were still hurdles: The Bollywood studios had never worked with an WGA writer before. "In India they have no concept of this idea that writers are represented by a union and that they have minimum wages and you have to pay them residuals, so it was something that they were just not interested in doing," says Rao. It took nearly a year for the WGA East, Rao and his agents to hammer out a deal. Plus, Bollywood writers are traditionally paid much lower rates for their work (between $15,000 and $25,000 for some of the biggest studio projects in India), so Rao's agents had to also negotiate a rate that would be comparable to what writers make in the U.S. (a spec sale to a studio usually starts at about $100,000 and can go up to $1 million if there's a bidding war). Rao, is returning to India in September for the premiere, says that his success in Bollywood is an indication that the industry is open to allowing more diverse stories as the country's growing middle class and younger generation become more interested in Hollywood projects. "There's a large population in India that are weaned on American films -- they're watching Hollywood films in theaters and they're watching Netflix and Amazon," he says. "I think now there's a desire from the major studios in India for a wider variety of ideas." (Hollywood Reporter)

Toronto: First Look at Sally Hawkins, Ethan Hawke in Hot Acquisition Title 'Maudie' (Exclusive Video). The biopic of artist Maud Lewis screened at Telluride and will screen next at Toronto. No acquisition title at last weekend's Telluride Film Festival generated more favorable buzz than Maudie, Aisling Walsh's biopic of the arthritic Canadian folk artist Maud Lewis, largely because of Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins' tour de force performance as the title character. Maudie, which was produced by produced by Bob Cooper, Susan Mullen and Mary Sexton, next screens Sept. 12-14 at the Toronto International Film Festival. In the clip from early in the film, Hawkins' Maud is seen as a live-in housekeeper for Everett Lewis, a gruff man played by Oscar nominee Ethan Hawke. The film's US sales agent is CAA and international sales agent is Mongrel Media. (Hollywood Reporter)

Russia Box Office: Summer Gross Sets Record in Rubles. Hollywood dominance helps boost the performance in local currency terms, but a weaker ruble means the dollar result is below past years. The summer's total box office gross in Russia set an all-time record in ruble terms. Hollywood movies dominated the summer, with local fare responsible for just 2 percent of the box office in the country. For the June through August period, Russia's total box office amounted to 12.9 billion rubles, a seven percent increase over the previous record, 12.1 billion rubles, which was set in 2014,Booker's Bulletin, the country's main industry journal, calculated. The result also came in 10 percent above last summer's take of 11.7 billion rubles. The record performance was driven by Hollywood releases. The summer's top-grossing releases were Universal's The Secret Life of Pets, which took in 1.7 billion rubles ($26.3 million), Warner Bros.' Suicide Squad (1.6 billion rubles or $24.8 million) and Lionsgate's Now You See Me 2 (1.1 billion or $17 million), all of which make the top 10 list of the highest-grossing releases on 2016 to date. Meanwhile, due to the Russian currency's sharp devaluation over the last two years, the box office performance in the summer of 2014 remains a record in U.S. dollar terms. The total box office gross that summer amounted to $336 million at that year's average exchange rate of the ruble to the dollar, compared with $200 million this past summer and $175 million in 2015. The poor showing of local movies is mostly explained by producers' unwillingness to release their films in the summer. Several highly anticipated Russian releases are scheduled for this fall. Last year, homegrown fare made up 11 percent of the summer box office in Russia. (Hollywood Reporter)

Grey's Anatomy Season 13 First Trailer: Is Alex Going to Jail? The first look at Grey's Anatomy's new season is finally here, and things do not look good for Alex Karev. When we last saw the tempermental doc, he was beating poor DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) to a bloody pulp over a massive misunderstanding regarding Jo (Camilla Luddington). (DeLuca was consoling her, but Alex believed they were hooking up.) Seemingly picking up from right where we left off, the race will be on to keep DeLuca alive -- and to keep Alex (Justin Chambers) out of jail. "You think no one's gonna realize this was you?" Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) asks her BFF with the noticeably bruised knuckles. "You gonna turn me over?" he counters. "You could go to jail," she impresses upon him. It's a brief 13 seconds, but boy is it intense. "Loyalties will be tested," the promo warns. Gulp. ABC has also released the official logline for the season premiere, entitled "Undo." Here's how they describe the big episode: "When one of Grey Sloan's own lands in the hospital, Bailey tries to figure out what happened while the rest of the doctors jump in to help. Meredith juggles huge secrets that affect her relationships with Alex and Maggie. While Richard helps Jo with a big decision, April and Catherine clash over the new baby." Do you think Alex could actually go to jail? Grey's Anatomy returns for season 13 on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC. (Eonline)

Meet Martina García, Breakout Star From Narcos Season 2. Netflix's season two of Narcos has some new faces this season, one of them being actress Martina García who plays Maritza. We won't go too deep into her character to not spoil anything for you, but the 32-year-old star says her role is a meaningful one. Although she's was skeptical of shows and movies that depict the story of Escobar, because she grew up in Colombia during these violent times, she felt that Narcos was the exception. "It's an amazing show, a high-quality project with a lot of research behind it. I believe that out of all everything out there on this topic, this is the most responsible one with collecting and presenting the most accurate information," she said to E! News. García, who speaks English, Spanish, and French, as well as a bit of Italian and Portuguese, said that filming certain scenes for the show felt very surreal. "There was one scene that I remember we shot in Medellín, and it felt so real. I felt like we were living through all of this." The actress credits the show for having an outstanding team of creators and actors, "Pedro Pascal and Wagner Moura are just amazing, they're the best. They're such talented actors, but also kind and lovely human beings." And Narcos isn't the first time that you've García on a hit series, she also played the role of Esme in Showtime's Homeland. When it comes to Hollywood, García feels that it is important to recognize that actresses like Salma Hayek have paved the way for other Latinas, "She's such a funny and smart woman, I think she's done a lot of good to the industry, plus she's gorgeous." The star believes that having a variety of Latinas playing very different roles, accurately represents who they are. "I know it wasn't easy for any of them. Sofia Vergara is another actress that is also smart, funny and beautiful. I admire them all because they're all so different. I think it's important to have different Latinas in Hollywood. There are a lot of ways of being Latina and I believe the world is starting to see that," she said. "Also actresses like Eva Mendes that are Latinas from the United States, they're also breaking stereotypes, it's amazing to see all that is changing in Hollywood." When it comes to her journey in acting, García expressed that she was fortunate to have found her way, but admits it wasn't easy. "I've had a lot of luck, my first role in the United States was on Homeland, although they were looking for a Venezuelan actress, I was able to nail the accent," she said. "Just like everything, being Latina has helped me and also made it a bit more difficult, especially when you're dealing with accents. Sometimes they want me to have absolutely no accent, and that's something I'll work with my coach on and sometimes they ask that I have a very strong accent and for it to be from another Latin American country. In the end, if it's meant for you, you'll land the role." (Eonline)

Tyler Henry Connects Austin Mahone With His Late Father in Revealing Hollywood Medium Clip. Austin Mahone is getting more than he expected. In the exclusive clip from next Wednesday's brand-new episode of Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry, the "Dirty Work" singer receives a visit from his late father -- who died when he was just an infant -- during a reading with Tyler Henry. The session begins with Austin handing Tyler a wristwatch that belonged to a loved one who had a big influence on his life. However, the man that ultimately comes through isn't a person the 20-year-old recognizes. "There's an energy that comes through, but they acknowledge that they died way too young from their perspective," Tyler explains, while holding the timepiece. "There's a reference on your dad's side. I'm seeing vintage cars, funny enough. I'm seeing cars, working under cars. There's a reference to it, so if someone was known for working on cars." Austin admits he doesn't know of anyone who would fit that description, but Tyler is certain the information he's sensing is accurate. "I just see dad over here and you over here, so I see you and your dad being separated basically in the way that this comes through," Tyler continues. "This is kind of strange. To what extent has dad been a part of your work?" Austin reveals his dad hasn't been involved with his career at all. Tyler then follows up by asking where Austin's dad is living. It is then that Austin discloses to Tyler that his dad has passed away, much to Tyler's surprise. "If you don't mind me asking, what did your dad pass of?" Tyler asks him. "He killed himself," Austin replies, before Tyler expresses his apologies. (Eonline)

Oxygen's Last Squad Standing Is About to Give You a Major Case of Squad Envy. You think you know squad goals? You ain't seen nothing yet. Oxygen's newest reality series Last Squad Standing, hosted by Alesha Renee is about to give you squad envy like you've never seen. In the new competition series, three squads of BFFs from across the country -- Baltimore, Detroit, and New Jersey, to be exact -- will live together, compete, and ultimately vote each other off for the hopes of taking home $100,000 and the title of "Last Squad Standing" -- and E! News has your exclusive first look. Each week, the three teams will go head-to-head-to-head in various physical challenges, but when a team loses, they must look inward and decide who among them should be on the chopping block. The members of the winning squad vote for who should stay and who's going home squad-free. The squad that makes it to the end with the most members standing takes home the grand prize and, you know, probably a few less friends. "Outside your family, your friends are the strongest bonds in your life through thick and thin. By giving these squads a chance at a life changing prize, their friendships will be put to the ultimate test of survival through physically demanding and emotionally charged challenges," Rod Aissa, Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media, said in a statement. "Viewers will see how these relationships are tested, transformed and ultimately strengthened by this experience and the prize," he added. "We are excited to partner with Jeff Spangler, Robert LaPlante and the whole Lighthearted Entertainment team on this project which is sure to resonate with our viewers." Can the squad outlast the strategy? Find out when Last Squad Standing premieres Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 9 p.m. on Oxygen. (Eonline)

The View Co-Hosts Tease Unpredictable 20th Season: Prepare for Hot Topics, Politics and No "Tantrums." Who's ready to sit back and enjoy a new season of The View? ABC's long-running daytime talk show kicked off its 20th season Tuesday morning with hot topics, political figures and even some A-list guests (hello Tracy Morgan). And after beginning a whole new era, the ladies were able to chat with E! News about what's to come. "We're going to go as big and as great as we can. Whether that's the guests that we have on, obviously it's a political year and we're going for all the big names. We're just doing it big this year," Candace Cameron Bure shared with us. "It's such a crazy year and it makes for really good conversation." She added, "Sometimes, even I'm like I don't know where I stand in all of it so it is really interesting and it will be really fun at the hot topics table discussing all these issues." As an original co-host, Joy Behar has seen a whole lot over the years. But when looking towards the months ahead, the comedian is also excited about the people both on and off the screen making the show succeed. "I've been here since 1997. To come back, it's been pretty spectacular in a way for me. I like this crowd a lot," she shared with E! News. "It's nice to like your co-hosts. I could work with anybody, but I do like my co-hosts very much. I like the people running the show. I feel like they have an interest in keeping it smart and it's just been great." But as many fans know, the show hasn't been able to avoid a few crazy tabloid headlines. From reports of feuds to firings, all of the cast couldn't believe the lies being told by some outlets. "Once you decide you want to play in the big leagues and you put yourself out there, people are going to come at you," Paula Faris shared with us. "People are going to write untruths and that's part of it." Whoopi Goldberg added, "I don't read it. I've got other stuff to do. I can't read about myself. We're a little old for some of this stuff. If people don't have anything to talk about, they talk about the show." Ultimately, co-host Sara Haines is glad she didn't believe everything she read. In fact, she can't help but giggle at some of the reports that were spread in recent months. "The [reports] of fighting behind the scenes makes me laugh a little. When you see us in the mornings, the meetings, I don't even recognize the description," she told us. "I was one of those people that read the articles before I came here and I was like oooh this is going to be tough. I kept looking for it and it wasn't there." The new mom added, "I would say the most shocking thing is the idea that people are screaming, yelling and throwing tantrums... I couldn't survive in a place that was like that so I can assure you the fact that I'm standing here, it doesn't happen." (Eonline)

Latest Walking Dead Trailer Reveals First Look at Life Under Negan's Rule. "There are rules," Negan informs us ominously in the latest trailer for The Walking Dead season seven. "You earn what you take. You should know this is the only way," he threatens in the clip, which gives us the first look at what life will be like under his rule. We know that a tragically gory death awaits at least one of the TWD characters we've grown to love, and now, in this preview, we can see how things will go after the anticipated moment. "Whatever you had going for you, that's over. The thing is, I am everywhere," he says. TWD executive producer Gale Ann Hurd recently told E! News that she thinks Negan is the ultimate villain. "He's been the ultimate villain in the comic book, and I think Jeffrey Dean Morgan is bringing him to life the way that I imagined because he is larger than life, he is charismatic, and he really enjoys what he does. He doesn't seem to have much of a conscience about it, and that's the kind of person we haven't seen before," she revealed. "Everyone else had a justification that they were reasoning as to why they did what they did, some of the evil things. They always had an excuse. Well, Negan rules." She added, "it's Negan's world now and we're all living in it." Doesn't sound too promising for Rick Grimes and co.'s chances of making it out alive. The Walking Dead premieres Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. on AMC. (Eonline)

Jules Wainstein Not Returning to Real Housewives of New York City. Jules Wainstein is leaving The Real Housewives of New York City after just one season, E! News has learned exclusively. The 35-year-old pal of Dorinda Medley joined RHONY's eighth season as the newest addition to the cast (and foil for returning Housewife legend Bethenny Frankel). But multiple sources confirm to E! News that Wainstein will not be returning as a Housewife for the franchise's ninth season (though, like other exiting Housewives before her, she could appear on the show as a friend). Her rep tells E! News, "Jules is going good through a divorce and is putting her family first." Bravo had no comment on the cast shakeup. Aside from being part of one of the most memorable (and possibly best ever) seasons in Real Housewives history, Wainstein has made headlines over the summer for personal drama surrounding her divorce from estranged husband Michael Wainstein. Things have gotten publicly contentious between former couple, who announced in June that they were divorcing after eight years of marriage, with Jules even calling the police in June after feeling threatened by her ex and later receiving a temporary restraining order following a disturbance in August. The duo share kids Rio and Jagger. "She is a great mom who is just focused on her kids right now," a source told E! News after Jules' restraining order was granted, and she's "trying take the high road" amid the high-profile drama. In part two of the RHONY season eight reunion, things will heat up between Jules and Bethenny -- who memorably clashed when Jules was introduced to the cast -- as Bethenny reveals information about Jules' marriage. The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo. (Eonline)

Allow Oprah Winfrey to Explain Why You Need to Watch Queen Sugar. If you're not planning on tuning in to Queen Sugar when it premieres on OWN, you're making a big mistake. But don't take our word for it. Allow the Queen of All Media, Oprah Winfrey herself, to explain why the gorgeous drama debuting on her network and which she co-created alongside Ava DuVernay is a must-see. "[A] really deep connected feeling about the values that we all share as human beings, no matter what race or what background we come from," Winfrey told E! News' Zuri Hall at series' big premiere when asked what she hoped viewers took away from the show. "That you can be Southern, you can be L.A. chic, you can be rich, you can be poor, but the feeling and heart that you feel in this series is about connection. And it's about values that everybody watching also shares or has shared at some point in their families." Queen Sugar, adapted from the book of the same name by Natalie Baszile, tells the story of the Bordelon siblings of Saint Josephine, LA as they struggle to adapt to life's new circumstances following the death of their beloved patriarch. True Blood's Rutina Wesley stars as Nova Bordelon, an investigative journalist and activist living in New Orleans, not far from her brother Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe), an ex-con making strides to rebuild his life with his young son. Their estranged sister Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner), the wife of a professional basketball player, returns home after their father's passing (and a scandal involving her husband makes living in Los Angeles untenable), forcing all three to work together to deal with their father's legacy: An 800-acre sugar cane farm. "See, it's a very character-driven series. So much so that what happens isn't as important as who it's happening to," Winfrey told us. "What I love, too, about them is that they're just real people. They're just regular, real people that represent the people who are watching...They're just regular people trying to make their way through life, getting by, doing the best they can every day with the best choices and decisions." And who can't relate to that? Queen Sugar's two-part premiere airs Tuesday, Sept. 6 and Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 10 p.m. on OWN. (Eonline)

With Atlanta, Donald Glover Wanted to Make "Twin Peaks for Rappers." Donald Glover's new FX comedy, Atlanta, probably has more in common with its network-mate, Louie, than anything else. But Glover told E! News while promoting the show at FX's 2016 Television Critics Association summer press day that he drew inspiration from another cult favorite series: "I wanted to make Twin Peaks for rappers," he told us. While Atlanta follows an up-and-coming rapper in Atlanta and his manager cousin, Earn (Glover), and Twin Peaks was a moody drama that investigated the murder of a teenage girl, it makes sense. "Twin Peaks was this show I really liked...it was very strange and had a lot of almost, for Millenials, was Lost-esque at the time," he explained. "A lot of questions would come up with no real answers and there was a mystery, and I kind of wanted to do a show that had those elements but for people who were rappers." Glover expanded on that idea in the panel discussing the show. "The thesis with the show was kind of to show people how it felt to be black, and you can't really write that down. You kind of have to feel it. So the tonal aspect was really important to me." He added, "There really isn't a limit, I feel like, to how abstract you can get as long as you believe it. Like, there has to be some sort of grounded nature to something so people don't start being, like, 'I don't believe this,' and then they turn the channel. I think if you have something that is grounded on some level, you can go anywhere." Atlanta premiered on FX. (Eonline)

Lick it up, baby. Lick it up: TV Land has greenlit a pilot for Heathers. The prospective show -- which is an adaptation of 1988's iconic high school-set black comedy starring Winona Ryder, Shannen Doherty, and Christian Slater -- will be an anthology series taking place in current day, and "our heroine deals with a very different but equally vicious group of Heathers," reads the network's announcement on Tuesday. According to The Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the news, the Heathers you know have been updated: Heather McNamara (played by Lisanne Falk in the movie) is now a black lesbian, Heather Duke (Doherty in the film) is a male identifying as gender-queer (and Heather's real name is Heath); and Heather Chandler (Kim Walker in the original) "has a body like Martha Dumptruck." The pilot will be directed by Sleeping With Other People's Leslye Headland, and written by Butter's Jason Micallef. Tom Rosenberg and Garry Lucchesi are serving as executive producers. Heathers, which scored a script deal from TV Land in March, is slated to begin production later this year. In years past, Bravo and Fox had developed TV adaptations of Heathers -- both from Sex and The City writer/producer Jenny Bicks -- but neither made it to air. (EW)

Barb Takes Hollywood: 'Stranger Things' Breakout Meets Casting Directors and Lands a Movie. The 19-year-old Atlanta-area native, who made her debut as the fan-favorite character on Netflix's sci-fi hit, recently flew to L.A. for a week of meetings with top execs and has already landed a minor role in Melissa McCarthy's 'Life of the Party.' Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer have promised "justice for Barb" in season two of Netflix's recently renewed breakout hit, but the actress who plays bespectacled high-schooler Barbara Holland is already finding justice in her career. Shannon Purser -- the 19-year-old Atlanta-area native who made her acting debut playing the character who has become a cult phenomenon, inspiring a trending hashtag on Twitter (#JusticeForBarb), various memes and even a recent spoof on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon -- recently traveled to L.A. for a week meetings with top local casting directors in the industry, sitting down with executives at ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, Sony, Warner Bros., TNT/TBS, and Marvel, among others. TNT/TBS manager of casting Mike Page posted a photo on Aug. 31 of a meet and greet with Purser and two casting colleagues, Aari Reich, and Alexis Scheu Booth. "Today was our turn to meet Barb from Stranger Things," Page posted. "Such a sweet and delightful girl! Love her and love Barb! #StandWithBarb #JusticeForBarb #StrangerThings #TNT #TBS #Casting." Purser's manager, Matt Shelton of LINK Entertainment, tells THR: "It's been a whirlwind of an experience to have such a high level of excitement surrounding Shannon, and the types of meetings and projects coming her way. It's a true testament to the layers and nuance she was able to build into the character to help it resonate with the audience the way it has, and of course, a little luck." In addition to a follow-up role on The CW's Archie reboot Riverdale, THR has learned that she's set for a small role opposite Melissa McCarthy in the upcoming feature film Life of the Party, co-written by McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone and to be directed by the latter.
