On The Road With ADOT

Interstate 15 near Mesquite will be narrowed to one lane for drainage upgrades

The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin a drainage improvement project Monday, Jan. 9, within a mile-long section of Interstate 15 north of Mesquite (mileposts 12-13).
Construction will require a temporary left-lane closure in the north and southbound lanes through early April 2017.
Motorists should expect brief delays, proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment. Law enforcement will assist with traffic control.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions and closures, but it’s possible that unscheduled impacts might occur because of weather or other factors.
