Anwar Hadid and Nicola Peltz Are Dating: How Their Friendship Turned Romantic. Hot new couple alert! E! News can confirm Anwar Hadid -- yes, the 17-year-old little brother of Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid -- is dating Transformers actress, 22-year-old Nicola Peltz. They were photographed walking hand-in-hand in Beverly Hills this week, and now a source tells us, "They are dating. It's a fairly new relationship, but they are really good friends and part of the same group of friends." In fact, they've snapped several photos together with famous pals like Sofia Richie and Nicola's brother Will Peltz in the past, but only recently have they been sparking romance rumors. For example, earlier this month, they had people talking after Nicola shared a photo sitting on Anwar's lap. "taken by the queen @ellenvonunwerth," she coyly captioned the pic. Videos from Nicola's birthday dinner have also surfaced that seem to show the pair holding hands while sitting next to each other at the table, providing even more evidence of their romance. Not only that, but a few fan accounts captured screenshots from Snapchat of what appears to be the couple's New Year's kiss. So how did they go from friendship to romance? Well, first and foremost, the best way to forge a relationship is to start out as friends, getting to know each other on a platonic level before moving on to the next step -- and for these two young, attractive, successful people, the reasonable next step is to give romance a shot. They have similar creative interests, too, which could have sparked even greater attraction. Anwar has focused his career toward modeling (like his older sisters and his mama Yolanda Hadid), and Nicola is an actress -- with roles in films like Transformers as well as TV series like Bates Motel -- who has also dabbled in the modeling world. Not to mention, they're both insanely fashionable. You know what they say, a couple who dresses well together... They've also faced their fair share of time in the spotlight already and are pretty accustomed in how to handle it. Anwar's mother was on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills series and his sisters have garnered their own fame in the modeling industry. Nicola, on the other hand, has made a name for herself outside of acting through her famous group of friends as well as romantic connections to people like Justin Bieber. Thus, they wouldn't be too taken back by their relationship hitting headlines. And, let's face it, when you put two beautiful and well-known people together like this, it's bound to make waves. We can't wait to see where these lovebirds go from here! (Eonline)

Demi Lovato Supports Rumored Boyfriend Guilherme ''Bomba'' Vasconcelos at MMA Fight: All the Exclusive Details! Demi Lovato can't seem to stop smiling! The "Confident" songstress was on hand to support rumored boyfriend Guilherme ''Bomba'' Vasconcelos during the Bellator 170 at The Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday evening, and from the looks of their PDA, these two are most definitely an item. E! News has all the exclusive details about the MMA champ's game-winning fight, including just how Lovato pumped up the crowd and celebrated Bomba's win with a sweet kiss. A source tells E! News, Demi, looking gorgeous in tight black pants and a "Team Bomba" T-shirt paired with chunky heeled booties, was escorted to her ringside seat where she watched at least four fights before Bomba's match. Lovato then chatted up MMA superstar Randy Couture and his girlfriend, actress Mindy Robinson, telling them, "Everything's good! I'm excited!" The pop sensation also shared that although she had seen Bomba fight before, this was her first fight as his girlfriend. "I'm freaking out!" she told the couple. Our eyewitness also shares that when it came time for Bomba's fight, Lovato appeared nervous, but as soon as the announcer introduced him into the ring, she started cheering alongside his fans, "Let's go, Bomba! Let's go!" Throughout the rounds, Demi was seen squirming in her seat and flinching when Bomba was hit. At one point, Demi yelled, "Don't let him up!" when Bomba was on top of his opponent. She then started leading a chant in support of her might-be beau. As soon as Bomba was declared the winner, our source reveals that Demi began jumping up and down with her hand in the air and hugging everyone around her, including members of Bomba's team. Lovato, 24, beamed with pride as Bomba made eye contact and pointed at her from the ring. Swoon! Joined by his team, she then made her way backstage to congratulate Bomba. "I'm still shaking," Demi was overheard telling the group as they all celebrated the big win. As Bomba made his way down the hall to greet his friends and family, Demi smiled from ear to ear. After shaking a few hands, Bomba went straight to Demi where our source tells us they kissed and shared a long embrace. "I'm so proud of you! I'm so proud of you," she told him. She stood against the wall as he chatted, hugged and celebrated with his friends, before Bomba returned to smooch his potential love interest and whisper in her ear. Demi officially just put any and all date nights to complete shame. The main card fights aired live tonight on Spike TV. (Eonline)

As Kim Kardashian West continues to slowly acclimate back to her reality, she remains focused on strengthening her relationship with husband Kanye West. The couple, along with Kourtney Kardashian, filmed for an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashian at Hugo's in Agoura Hills, California on Thursday. "Kim and Kanye seemed okay," a source told PEOPLE. "They weren't affectionate. They walked separately into the restaurant." Kardashian West, 36, recently paid a visit to Dubai, where she made her first public appearance since her Paris robbery at celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic's Master Class and spent some quality time meeting young fans at a nearby pediatric center in the city. "Kim had a great time in Dubai," the source said. "She also enjoyed her short N.Y.C. stop. She really missed her kids, though, and is happy to be back in L.A." Though Kardashian West's husband did not accompany her to Dubai, the two remain dedicated to their relationship. "She is spending time with Kanye too," the source added. "It doesn't seem like they have plans to split now. Things don't seem great, but it also seems they are working to change that. Kanye has been very low-key and Kim appreciates that. With her life not being completely chaotic, she is able to be more understanding and patient with Kanye. Kim seems more hopeful about their future together." After Kardashian West's robbery scare in October, and West's November hospitalization for exhaustion and sleep deprivation, rumors of a divorce began to escalate. But an insider close to the KUWTK star denied all reports of a potential split. "This divorce stuff is completely false," an insider previously told PEOPLE. "Kim does not have any plans to divorce Kanye. She's told me it's false. The picture that's being painted is that she is planning on leaving him because of the robbery and this [hospitalization] incident." (People)

Cuba Gooding Jr. Files for Divorce From His Wife Sara Kapfer After 22 Years of Marriage. Cuba Gooding Jr. is putting an end to his Hollywood marriage. E! News can confirm the The People v. O.J. Simpson star filed for divorce from his wife Sara Kapfer after 22 years of marriage. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the actor is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 10-year-old daughter. He's also willing to give spousal support to Sara. The legal move comes after Sara filed for legal separation from her husband back in August of 2014. According to court docs, Cuba's wife stated that the couple married on March 13, 1994 but legally separated on April 16, 2014. While the couple has tried to keep much of their romantic life private, the pair recently stepped out to attend The Weinstein Company and Netflix's Golden Globes party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. In addition, the Jerry McGuire star once gushed about his wife, whom was his high school sweetheart, during an appearance on The View. "I'm lucky," he shared with the ladies including guest co-host Suze Orman. "Oh I wanna kill her sometimes and she puts up with me." And for those wondering why the couple stayed close even after Sara's separation filing, Cuba tried to provide some insight on The Steve Harvey Show. "Officially I'm still married, it's just you know how some marriages go. Sometimes you take a break or two. All I'm saying is my life is what it is right now," he explained to Steve Harvey. "I took her to see a movie the other day. We've got kids man, we've got to keep this together." (Eonline)

More drama in the Reggie Bush alleged baby scandal ... the woman claiming to be his mistress is MARRIED and now her husband wants out. As we previously reported, a Miami nightclub waitress named Monique claims Bush (who is also married) sperminated her last year and approached him about child support. The baby is due in February. Now, we've learned Monique was married at the time of the alleged tryst -- and her husband is PISSED. He's filed for divorce and it's clear from the docs he's convinced Bush is the father of her unborn kid. He's named Bush several times in his divorce papers and is demanding she hand over any documentation proving he could be the father ... such as DNA tests, confidentiality agreements or payments he may have made to her. The husband also notes he didn't have sex with his wife around the time of conception -- so there's no way HE could be the daddy. A rep for Bush had previously called the baby allegations "rumors" and noted he's still "happily married." (TMZ)

"America's Got Talent" winner Neal E. Boyd was involved in a single car crash that was so serious it sent his vehicle flying in the air. The opera singer -- who won Season 3 of 'AGT' -- ran off a road in Scott County, Missouri at 8:45 AM, crashed into a tree, which then sent his car flying, and then into another tree. There was also a passenger in the car ... it appears to be his 62-year-old mother. Boyd reportedly was not wearing his seat belt. THE OTHER STUFF . . .

How Prince William and Kate Middleton's Lives Are Changing in 2017. It looks like 2017 has a lot of changes in store for the royal family. Kensington Palace released a few statements on behalf of Prince William and Kate Middleton Friday, informing the public the pair and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are turning a new page in their royal book. First and foremost, William announced that he will be leaving his job as an air ambulance helicopter pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance -- where he's worked for two years -- in order to spend more time with his family. The Duke said in a statement, "It has been a huge privilege to fly with the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Following on from my time in the military, I have had experiences in this job I will carry with me for the rest of my life, and that will add a valuable perspective to my royal work for decades to come...I have loved being part of a team of professional, talented people that save lives every day. My admiration for our country's medical and emergency services community could not be any stronger." Prince William's announcement comes on the heels of even more news regarding the royal family's plans to stay in London more often in 2017. Though William and Kate have primarily based their family at Anmer Hall in Norfolk in order to allow the Duke to work as a pilot, Kensington Palace announced they'll increasingly base themselves in London starting this fall. In fact, Prince George will attend school in London come September, and Princess Charlotte will go to nursery school (and continue her other schooling there in the future). So what could be the cause behind all the change? Kensington Palace explained in the statement, "The Royal Highnesses are keen to increase their official work on behalf of the Queen and for the charities and causes they support, which will require greater time spend in London." This is likely due to Queen Elizabeth II's announcement before the New Year in which she informed the public of her plans to stand down from 25 of her patronages and hand the charitable responsibilities over to younger members of the royal family. She revealed she would be giving responsibility of several U.K. organizations -- including Save the Children, Barnado's and the Royal Geographic Society -- to Kate and William. Prince Harry, on the other hand, will take over the Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football League, while William will handle the Amateur Swimming Association. While the Queen will remain a patron of roughly 600 organizations, royal expert Victoria Arbiter said her announcement is a sign of a royal transition in motion. "We're definitely seeing a transition in progress. The royal family doesn't leave anything to chance," Arbiter said in an interview on Today. "We're seeing this really slow transition in place, but it doesn't mean she's any less committed to the role." (Eonline)

J.K. Rowling Crushes Your Dreams of a Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Movie Trilogy. Curses! Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling took to Twitter Friday to deny rumors that a Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie trilogy was in the works. She had co-written the play by the same name, set 19 years after the events in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final installment in the hit book and film series. The production opened in London in 2016. The project's script was published as well. "I know a lot of people are looking for reasons to be cheerful today, but there is NO TRUTH to the rumour about a #CursedChild movie trilogy!" she wrote. The Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play depicts Harry Potter as a father of three and an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic. As he is haunted by memories of his past, his youngest son Albus struggles with the weight of his family's legacy. None of the Harry Potter film stars appeared in the production. Last week, theme park journalist and historian Jim Hill signaled on the Unofficial Universal Orlando Podcast that a "trilogy of movies that will be based on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" was in the works. He also said Warner Bros. had had "conversations" with original stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint "'cause they want this to be, for lack of a better term, Harry Potter: The Force Awakens," per Screen Rant. Hill later responded to Rowling's denial via Twitter, saying that while he has "great respect" for her and would not "dispute" what she posted, he was quoting info from a source "on the Warner Bros. side of the fence." "Given what my source here has told me in the past...I'm very confident that what he told me about a Cursed Child film trilogy being talked about at Warners as something that will go into production after the five-part Fantastic Beasts film series wraps," he said. Warner Bros. released Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, the first movie in a five-part spinoff series, last year. It made more than $802 million worldwide. The eight-part Harry Potter series made more than $7.72 billion. Rumors about the making of just one Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie began last year. Rowling denied the reports on Twitter in February when a fan asked about them. In August, The New York Daily News quoted Hollywood sources as saying Warner Bros. was working on obtaining the rights to bring the new sequel story to the big screen as soon as 2010. The studio later said in a statement, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a stage play, with no plans for there to be a film." In December 2016, Warner Bros. Entertainment filed to trademark the title Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for merchandising purposes. As for the idea of other Harry Potter sequels, Rowling told Reuters last July that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child would not herald a new phase of stories. "Harry is done now," she said. (Eonline)

Serena Williams Shuts Down Reporter Who Called Her Performance "Scrappy." The last thing Serena Williams expected after beating Lucie Safarova during the second round of the Australian Open was criticism. But in a post-match press conference, Williams completely shut down a reporter who described her performance as "scrappy" and full of unforced errors. "I think that's a very negative thing to say," she responded. "Are you serious?" Williams gave the reporter an opportunity to apologize, which he did, and then lauded her opponent's performance. "Thank you very much," Williams replied to the reporter's apology. "That was a great performance. I played well. She's a former top-10 player. The last time we played together was the finals of a Grand Slam. You know, it's not an easy match. She's a really good player. You have to go for more, which obviously makes a few more errors. "So, yeah, I think it was overall a really good match, on both of our ends." Consider that reporter burned. Although the tennis star wasn't thrilled by the reporter's line of questioning, Williams does have a lot to celebrate in addition to her big win at the Australian Open. The 35-year-old athlete recently became engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, but she's focusing on her career for now. "It feels good," she shared when asked about her engagement. "I really haven't thought about it too much. I wasn't going to think about it until after the tournament. I keep saying that in February I will start looking at the bigger picture of my life." She briefly touched upon her fiance during a previous press conference and had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. "He is an incredibly nice person," she dished. "He really treats everyone the same, which is really cool to see." (Eonline)

Justin Bieber Not a Fan of Music by The Weeknd, Selena Gomez's New Beau. What do you mean, Justin Bieber? While leaving a restaurant in West Hollywood Friday, a photographer asked the singer if he is able to listen to a song by The Weeknd. "Hell no, I can't listen to a Weeknd song," Bieber replied, as seen in a video posted on TMZ Saturday. "That s--t's whack." The Weeknd has not responded. The video was posted days after he and Bieber's ex, Selena Gomez, went public with their romance when they were photographed kissing outside a restaurant in Los Angeles. She and Bieber dated on and off for three years before calling it quits in 2014. He has not commented on her relationship with The Weeknd, which is in its beginning stages. The Weeknd's ex, Bella Hadid, also appeared not to take his and Gomez's romance news that well. Hours after the photos were published, she unfollowed Selena. She seemed be in a foul mood days later while walking in New York City, flipping the bird to paparazzi, who have long followed her around. A source told E! News exclusively last week Bella "is actually not over The Weeknd. She still loves him." Since the news broke, the model appeared to lean on pals like Kendall Jenner and her family, including sister Gigi Hadid and mom Yolanda Hadid, for support. Bella later returned to work, walking the runway at the Givenchy Menswear Fall/Winter 2017-2018 show as part of Paris Fashion Week Friday. (Eonline)

Peta Murgatroyd Returns to the Gym 2 Weeks After Giving Birth and Shares New Photo. Peta Murgatroyd is working on her fitness, just over two weeks after giving birth to her first child. The Dancing With the Stars pro posted her second post-pregnancy selfie, which shows her wearing a white and purple tie-dyed nursing bra and black mini skirt, Saturday and revealed she had recently returned to the gym. Murgatroyd gave birth to her and co-star Maksim Chmerkovskiy's son Shai on Jan. 4. "Love thy self ? #Day17 postpartum," she wrote. "I think I'm doing ok....and I'm actually fine with the rate at which my body is shrinking back. After 2 days back at the gym I'm feeling like the old Peta again. I definitely don't have my 6 pack, and I still have excess skin and rolls on my belly, however I feel good. After all, slow and steady wins the race!" "I knew I needed to get back into the gym for my own sanity, but I also remind myself (as does Maks) that I still need to take it easy," Murgatroyd added. "I cannot jump yet and still can't run a mile, but the exercises I've planned out are a good start. Honestly, the hardest part for me is getting my core strength back. She said that on the first day after giving birth, she "couldn't do a sit-up" but that "here's day 17 and I'm doing 70+." "Ladies, we all have to start somewhere...being an athlete I pride myself on having a lean, strong physique, so believe me this has been a challenge to work through, but as long as you have a loving support network around you, you will be fine ? #theresnothinglikehardwork," she said. Murgatroyd shared her first post-pregnancy selfie 11 days after welcoming Shai, saying she left the hospital looking five months pregnant and that her son is "worth every pound." (Eonline)

Justin Bieber showed up at a huge car auction to help fetch a fortune for a car he's probably more than happy to unload. Justin arrived at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Arizona Saturday, to help put his Ferrari 458 on the block. You heard him (below) talk about the car before the bidding starts. Justin and the auctioneer reference the car's history ... among other things, it was nailed by paparazzi on an L.A. freeway. It was also the car Bieber's pal Lil Twist was driving January 1, 2013, when a photog, who was following him, was struck and killed by another car. The Ferrari went for $434,500. (TMZ)

"Taylor Swift" Pranked Nina Dobrev and It Didn't Go Well. Do your research, folks! While filming, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose launched an epic prank war on each other. Eventually it turned so intense that neither star wanted to leave her trailer, but ultimately work would call. One day Rose innocently decided to up the ante on their prank war by hiring a Taylor Swift impersonator to serenade the Vampire Diaries alum on set, but it didn't end well. "She hired an impersonator to come to our set and sing to me and bombard me in my trailer, but what she didn't know was that the girl hired to do this was actually a huge fan," Dobrev, appeared alongside Chris Hardwick, recalled on The Late Late Show Thursday. "She got really nervous and in the middle of it she hit her head and started bleeding." Ouch! Rose clearly hadn't realized that the T.Swift impersonator would be a diehard Dobrev fan, so the plan backfired to say the least. "She came in and got nervous and just hit her head," Dobrev added. Perhaps Hardwick said it best when he quipped, "Taylor not so Swift." Rose, who is friends with the "Style" songstress in real life, probably rethought her method of pranking after that incident! Love is in the air for This Is Us star Chrissy Metz and her still-anonymous beau. The 36-year-old actress dazzled on the red carpet at the 2017 Artios Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night, where she gushed about her new romance. "Oh my God it's going great. It's going great," Metz said, adding jokingly: "I can't imagine how it must be to date an actress. So God bless him. God bless him." Metz, who is still keeping her man's identity a secret, is doing so for good reason -- she's just finding her feet in Hollywood. "I'm just weaning him in, as I'm weaning myself in," she said. "It's a lot. It's a lot of undertaking. I'm not going to be able to pay attention to him. I'm like, 'Babe, sorry, sorry. Just a second babe. Hold on babe.' Eventually it'll be like a no-brainer." Don't expect her man be kept secret for long. "Eventually... you'll all probably get to meet him," she said. "But I just feel like I've got to figure this out first, before I'm like, 'Let me bring my boyfriend.' " It's been an incredible year for the actress. She has a new hit TV show on her hands -- and the accolades are not slowing down. There was her Golden Globe nomination for best-supporting actress in a TV drama. And the show's big win at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards, where it took home Favorite New TV Drama. Metz was still in awe of the People's Choice-victory. "We won y'all! We won y'all!" she gushed. "There were like 13 nominees -- great new shows. And I was like, well, who knows? Our season's not even over yet. We were lucky, and we were excited about it." Metz didn't always feel this lucky. When she first auditioned for This Is Us, she was sure she'd bombed the reading and was convinced she had lost the part. The day started out well. "The birds were birdy-er, and the sky was bluer, and I was like, skipping, not really, but it felt like I was skipping to the audition," Metz explained. "I was like, 'Oh, this is going to be a great day.' " But doubt started to soon creep in -- and Metz worried she wasn't present. "Then I see girls who I see all the time, I'm like, 'Oh shoot-they're really good. They're really good.' " I go in and you know that inner dialogue? While I'm reading I'm like, 'You're not present. What are you doing? This isn't right. I can't start over. Oh God!' And then they were like, 'Okay great.' I'm like, 'Okay. Great -- I bombed another one.' " I left and I was like, 'Well, shoot. Because I really wanted it.' " Of course, things worked out in Metz's favor. "Luckily, they called me back because they saw something that was right for the role," she said. "Thank God." This Is Us airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on NBC. (People)

America Ferrera Reunites With Ugly Betty Co-Stars at Women's March on Washington D.C. America Ferrera ran into two special co-stars while participating in the Women's March on Washington D.C. Saturday. The actress, who delivered a speech during the women's rights protest, reunited with none other than fellow Ugly Betty alums, Mark Indelicato and Ana Ortiz. America shared a heartwarming photo of the trio, who proved they are just as much family offscreen as they were on television. "I march for family! I found my #UglyBetty family @therealanaortiz & @markindelicato here at the #womensmarchdc and we're here celebrating @plannedparenthood with @funnyordie & @ronnaandbeverly #fullheart," Ferrera captioned the snapshot. In the popular ABC series, which ran from 2006-2010, Ferrera starred as Ortiz's younger sister and Indelicato's aunt. The onscreen mother-son duo marched together, surely stopping to support America when she took the stage and delivered a message to the hundreds of thousands in attendance. "We are gathered here and across the country and around the world today to say, 'Mr. Trump, we refuse. It's been a heartbreaking time to be both a woman and an immigrant in this country," the star, the daughter of Honduran immigrants, told the crowd. "Our dignity, our character, our rights have all been under attack and a platform of hate and division assumed power yesterday." "We march today for our families and our neighbors, for our future, for the causes that we claim and the causes that claim us," Ferrera said. "We march today for the moral core of this nation, against which our new president is waging a war." Celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Brie Larson, Charlize Theron, Amy Schumer, Helen Mirren, Whoopi Goldberg, Cynthia Nixon, Evan Rachel Wood and more stepped out in support of equality in major cities such as Los Angeles, D.C., Chicago, Denver and Park City, Utah. Pink and husband Carey Hart brought their kids, including newborn son Jameson, along as well. (Eonline)

Gwen Stefani Joins Blake Shelton Onstage for Surprise Performance in Mexico. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are not only a cute star couple -- they are a package deal! The ska and pop star was a surprise performer following her beau's set at Luke Bryan's four-day 2017 Crash My Playa event at Riviera Maya, Mexico Saturday. Shelton brought her onstage while performing his encore, his cover of "Footloose," and she performed her band No Doubt's 2001 hit "Hella Good." Stefani posted photos and videos from the show on Snapchat, while fans also shared footage on social media. During a Crash My Playa show Friday, Bryan himself gave Stefani a shout-out when during his closing song, "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)," he inserted part of her hit "Hollaback Girl," Sounds Like Nashville reported, adding that he then looked side stage, where Stefani and Shelton were watching from the wings. Stefani and Shelton, co-stars on The Voice, have been dating for more than a year. The two spent the holidays together with their families, in both California and Oklahoma and recently attended the 2017 People's Choice Awards together. After Shelton won two awards, he gave his girlfriend a shout-out onstage. "I've got a lot of people to thank. All the people that voted for me. Thank you so much," he said. "And thanks the hottest date here tonight, Gwen Stefani, who is sitting out there." Shelton gushed about his girlfriend in an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in December. "It's been just an eye opener to be with someone like her," he said. "I mean, you think Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, and she is literally maybe the most normal person that I've ever met in my life. It's been good for me to be with somebody that's so grounded and just a good human being with a great heart." "And she's hot," he added. "Have you seen her? I mean look at that!" (Eonline)

KeKe Palmer Accuses Trey Songz of ''Sexual Intimidation'' After She Allegedly Didn't Authorize Her Cameo in a Music Video. When it comes to Trey Songz, Keke Palmer isn't mincing words. The Scream Queens actress and singer took to Instagram on Saturday, slamming the R&B artist for including her cameo in a music video when she allegedly did not authorize its use. The music video in question is Trey Songz and Fabolous' remix to the Travis Scott and Young Thug song, "Pick Up the Phone," which was released on YouTube yesterday. In the lengthy message, Palmer accuses Trey (real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson) of using food, alcohol and a "little sexual intimidation" to coerce her into appearing the visual project. "This is preposterous. How am I in this video Trey? After you found me in a closet HIDING because I was so afraid of anymore conflict," Palmer writes. "Literally my last option was to hide because you all would not listen when I said I did not want to be in the video the FIRST time." She continues, "Just cause you give someone food and alcohol and throw in a little sexual intimidation doesn't mean they will buckle. Yet, you still disrespected me as a young women, whom you've known since she was TWELVE. YOU STILL, defied my wishes and in turn showed your lack of respect for a brand that took me fourteen years to build and put me in the video against my wishes." Palmer then claims Songz and his production team secretly filmed her during the music video shoot. In the video, the 23-year-old briefly appears sitting on a couch taking selfies on her phone. Her likeness also appears in the track's lyrics, as MIKExANGEL raps, "I palm her p--sy like KeKe / Like KeKe, Like Keke" "Come on bruh, I clearly said no and you said okay, yet I was being secretly filmed when you told me "let me just show you the idea"?? Wow. This is what I'm referring to in my previous post, this is the sexism and misogyny I refer to because if I was a dude, he wouldn't have even tried me like this," Palmer adds. "Let this be a lesson to all, I'm not for the bulls--t." she goes on. "I'm serious about my business and you will not use my likeness without MY permission. When you in front of a boss you treat them like one, like I treat YOU. NO MEANS NO!!!!!!!" "People have to listen to women and stop questioning them and their intelligence. Speak up, cause when you look someone in the face and they say "I understand. You don't have to feel pressured to do the video" and they STILL put you in it, it is a violation. It would be great to be able to handle these things privately but why when they aren't respected?" Keke concludes the message. E! News has reached out to Trey Songz' rep for comment. (Eonline)

Adele to Perform at the 2017 Grammy Awards. Just when you thought Music's Biggest Night couldn't get any bigger... The Recording Academy announced Friday morning that Adele has joined the 2017 Grammys lineup. The singer-songwriter will perform a song from her multiplatinum album 25 at L.A.'s Staples Center Feb. 12, following performances in 2009 (with Sugarland), 2012 and 2016. Previously announced performers include John Legend, Metallica, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. A 10-time Grammy winner, Adele is nominated in five categories, including Record of the Year ("Hello"), Song of the Year ("Hello"), Best Pop Solo Performance ("Hello) and Best Pop Vocal Album (25). 25 is also up for Album of the Year against Beyonce's Lemonade, Justin Bieber's Purpose, Drake's Views and Sturgill Simpson's A Sailor's Guide to Earth. It's shaping up to be a big night for Adele, as 25 was the best-selling album of both 2015 and 2016. The compilation was released on Nov. 20, 2015, 15 months before the 2017 Grammys. James Corden will host the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET. Hopefully Adele's performance goes off without a hitch. She suffered technical difficulties last year while singing "All I Ask." Adele's microphone dropped onto the piano keys, so the show switched to a backup sound system that caused the momentary audio drop. "We had the most complicated show on television. Period. End of story," Academy President Neil Portnow told reporters in 2016. "With each musical performance, we change over the microphones, the wires. I mean, if you've been backstage -- I can't understand how they get it done, but they do." "All credit to her for how professional she is," Portnow said of Adele's mishap. "She did a great job and we certainly don't like when those things happen, but those things happen sometimes." Adele later told Ellen DeGeneres she "cried pretty much all day" after the performance error. "It threw the whole thing off," the singer explained. "Next time I have any sound issues, I am going to start over. [I will tell them,] 'Sorry, that's not working for me.' Otherwise... bye! In fairness, I would have cried if it went really well. If it was a standout performance, I would have cried as well. I always cry. I was so embarrassed...It can't get much worse than the Grammys." (Eonline)

Celine Dion Set to Perform Brand-New Song for Disney's Upcoming Beauty and the Beast. Hush now, we see a brand-new Disney classic in the making. As the anticipation continues for Beauty and the Beast's live-action film, fans received news that will be music to anyone's ears. E! News can confirm Celine Dion will perform a new song titled "How Does a Moment Last Forever" for the upcoming film. While fans have to wait a little bit longer to hear the new track written by eight-time Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Tim Rice, the song is described as an "emotional ballad about holding onto life's precious moments." The announcement comes almost 25 years after Celine sang a duet version of "Beauty and the Beast" with Peabo Bryson after the release of the 1991 animated film. The version would go on to win a Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group. "Being a part of the original Beauty and the Beast was such a magical experience in my life," Celine shared in a press release. "And I'm truly honored to be a part of this film again." "Celine was the unanimous choice of the filmmakers and studio to perform this song," Mitchell Leib, President of Music for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Production, added. "And everyone involved with the film is thrilled she agreed to be part of this new live-action adaptation." Earlier this month, Disney confirmed that Ariana Grande and John Legend will also be a part of the movie's soundtrack. "True as it can be," the studio confirmed on Instagram. "@ArianaGrande and @JohnLegend will perform 'Beauty and the Beast' as the title track in the film's upcoming live-action adaptation." Beauty and the Beast will be released in U.S. theaters on March 17. The film's soundtrack featuring Celine's new song will be available on March 10. (Eonline)

iLoveMakonnen Comes Out as Gay. iLoveMakonnen has come out as gay. The hip-hop star shared his news with a string of tweets in the small hours of Friday morning. "As a fashion icon, I can't tell u about everybody else's closet, I can only tell u about mine, and it's time I've come out," he wrote in one tweet. He added, "And since y'all love breaking news, here's some old news to break, I'm gay. And now I've told u about my life, maybe u can go life yours." And he wrapped it all up in a single post on Instagram with the caption, "Thank you for letting me be myself." The Atlanta rapper's social media feeds have been mostly filled with love and support. The MC (real name Makonnen Sheran) broke out with the 2014 smash "Club Goin Up On A Tuesday" and was a signing to Drake's OVO Sound. He left the label last year, issuing a statement on his departure: "I'm sure the haters will have something negative to say, but all in all my choice to be solely on Warner Bros Records was the right thing for me and for my best interest. Sorry there's no beef to report." (Billboard)

John Mayer Releases 'The Search for Everything Wave One' EP. John Mayer has quietly dropped a new EP, his first release in three years. And he's promised "more to come." Mayer shared his soulful, rootsy collection The Search for Everything Wave One late Thursday night (Jan. 19) with hardly any fanfare. "My heart's racing. These songs represent literally hundreds of hours of living inside of these little worlds. And more to come," he tweeted. The "Gravity" singer released the EP's first track "Love On The Weekend" last November and hinted at a full album and tour in support. 2017 represents "a year of more music coming than I've ever put out in one year," he said in a live fan Q&A in the back-end of 2016. "That's really sort of what my career has been, it's what my life has been, it's the way that my mind works -- it sort of consumes everything. That is very true to the nature of the record, which is sort of like a mixtape of all the music that inspires me and all the styles that I've made before, but certainly in my own certain way of doing it." "Love On The Weekend" marked Mayer's first single since his cover of Beyonce's "XO" arrived in May 2014. (Billboard)

Solange, Esperanza Spalding Perform at Peace Ball. Solange and Esperanza Spalding were among the artists who performed on Thursday night (Jan. 19) at the Busboys and Poets' Peace Ball at the National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington, D.C. on the eve of Donald Trump's inauguration. The event officially referred to as "Voices of Hope and Resistance," was the third gathering of its kind since 2009. Organizer Andy Shallal explained to NPR earlier this week that it is intended as a "gathering of artists and activists and progressives to sort of take a moment and pause and assess all the successes we've had for the past few years - successes around the environment, around marriage equality, around women's rights... Sometimes in very difficult times, we forget to stop and celebrate and take that pause." In addition to Solange and Spalding, the party featured a number of activists, politicians and journalists, including scholar/activist Angela Davis, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, author Alice Walker, actors Ashley Judd and Danny Glover and journalists/commentators Van Jones and Melissa Harris-Perry, according to New York magazine. Solange did a short set of songs from A Seat at the Table, including "Don't Touch My Hair," "Cranes in the Sky" and "Weary." (Billboard)

Karen Gillan Reacts to Backlash Over "Sexist" Look in Jumanji Reboot. Karen Gillan signals her Jumanji character is just as unhappy as many viewers are about what they call her "sexist" jungle outfit. The 29-year-old Scottish actress plays Ruby Roundhouse in the upcoming film, which is set for release in December. The movie is a reboot of the hit 1995 dark fantasy adventure flick starring the late Robin Williams, which was about kids whose board game comes to life. In the new Jumanji, four people are sucked into the game's jungle world and must turn into characters to beat it. Gillan's is an Amazonian warrior. Last year, the first photo from the reboot was released and shows Gillan wearing a cropped shirt with leather straps, low-cut short cargo shorts and lace-up knee-high hiking boots and standing in a lush jungle setting with co-stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black, whose outfits are not revealing. Many people said the photo and the actress' look were sexist. "I'd never take on a role that was truly gratuitous for no reason. There's a really valid reason why she's wearing that. My character is really not happy about it!" Gillan told The Hollywood Reporter in comments posted Friday. The actress said she "experienced something similar" when she worked on Doctor Who several years ago. Many fans of the hit BBC sci-fi series felt the way her character, Amy Pond, was portrayed was too sexist. Similar criticism has been made of many of the Doctor's past female companions. At the Dallas Sci-Fi Expo in 2014, Gillan replied to the criticism about her character and defended then-Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat. "I just don't understand that. I feel like I had a very rounded, interesting, flawed and layered character to play," she reportedly said, adding, "I wore skirts but Steven Moffat had nothing to do with that. He doesn't care about costumes. So I don't really understand [the criticism] if I've got to be honest." (Eonline)

A Dog's Purpose Premiere and Press Junket Canceled Amid Animal Abuse Investigation. Amid controversy, Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures have canceled the premiere and press junket for A Dog's Purpose. The move comes after TMZ published a video showing alleged animal abuse when a particular scene was shot in Winnipeg, Canada, over a year ago. Universal Pictures confirmed the cancellations in a statement to E! News Thursday. "Because Amblin's review into the edited video released yesterday is still ongoing, distributor Universal Pictures has decided it is in the best interest of A Dog's Purpose to cancel this weekend's premiere and press junket," the statement began. "Amblin and Universal do not want anything to overshadow this film that celebrates the relationship between animals and humans." "Since the emergence of the footage, Amblin has engaged with many associated with the production of the film, including safety personnel, trainers and stunt coordinators as part of their in-depth review," the producer and distributor's statement continued. "While we are all disheartened by the appearance of an animal in distress, everyone has assured us that Hercules the German Shepherd was not harmed throughout the filmmaking. We continue to support this film, are incredibly proud of it and will release it for audiences nationwide next Friday." After the "disturbing" video went viral, director Lasse Hallström, actors KJ Apa and Josh Gad, and producer Gavin Polone spoke out about feeling "shaken and sad" over what transpired. While none of them witnessed any abuse during the making of the film (based on W. Bruce Cameron's bestselling novel of the same), Hallström tweeted that "a thorough investigation into this situation is underway," adding "that any wrongdoing will be reported and punished." The movie, starring Dennis Quaid, will open in theaters nationwide on Jan. 27 as scheduled. In a statement on Wednesday, Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures assured fans that Hercules was "happy and healthy" 13 months after the incident. "There were several days of rehearsal of the water scenes to ensure Hercules was comfortable with all of the stunts," the statement continued. "On the day of the shoot, Hercules did not want to perform the stunt portrayed on the tape, so the Amblin production team did not proceed with filming that shot." Hallström said Wednesday that he didn't see what happened to Hercules before cameras rolled. As he told a Twitter user, "I am appalled too! I DIDN'T KNOW THIS HAD HAPPENED ON MY SET UNTIL I SAW THE TAPE! I DIRECTED VIA MONITORS THAT DIDNT SEE THIS!" Mark Stubis, a spokesman for the American Humane Association, which monitors animals on movie sets, said in a statement Wednesday that a representative was present during filming. The employee was later placed on administrative leave, and the organization was "bringing in an independent third party to conduct an investigation." In a statement, he added, "When the dog showed signs of resistance to jumping in the water, the scene should have been stopped." (Eonline)

A Dog's Purpose Author W. Bruce Cameron Speaks Out About Controversial Video. W. Bruce Cameron, author of the book that inspired the film A Dog's Purpose, is speaking out about a controversial video from the set showing alleged animal abuse. The clip, which leaked online Wednesday, shows what appears to be a handler appearing to force a German Shepard named Hercules into a pool of rushing water. "I found the video we've all seen to be shocking because when I was on set, the ethic of everyone was the safety and comfort of the dogs," Cameron said in a statement to E! News Friday. "If the people who shot and edited the video thought something was wrong, why did they wait 15 months to do anything about it, instead of immediately going to the authorities?" "I have since viewed footage taken of the day in question, when I wasn't there, and it paints an entirely different picture," he continued. "The written commentary accompanying the edited video mischaracterizes what happened. The dog was not terrified and not thrown in the water -- I've seen footage of Hercules earlier that day joyfully jumping in the pool. When he was asked to perform the stunt from the other side of the pool, which was not how he had been doing it all day, he balked. The mistake was trying to dip the dog in the water to show him it was okay -- the water wasn't his issue, it was the location that was the issue, and the dog happily did the stunt when he was allowed to return to his original spot." "I also didn't like it when Hercules' head briefly went under water, but there was a scuba diver and a trainer in the pool to protect him," he wrote. "He loves the water, wasn't in danger, and wasn't upset." After the video went viral, an on-set monitor with American Humane, a group that ensures the safety of animals used in film and TV productions and which awards its "No Animals Were Harmed" certification to films, was placed on leave after the disturbing video was leaked. The group also said it is "bringing in an independent third party to conduct an investigation into this matter." "On a movie where the mantra was the safety and comfort of the dogs, mistakes were made, and everything needs to be done to make sure those errors are not repeated. But the reason American Humane certifies that no animals were harmed during the making of the film is that no animals were harmed during the making of the film," Cameron wrote. "I celebrate animal rescue and am proud of the values that show up in A Dog's Purpose." The author had said on Facebook Wednesday that he was "disturbed" by the video footage. "I have asked the studio for an explanation and have been assured they are reviewing every single frame of footage shot that day and interviewing the people who were there. (I wasn't.)," he said at the time. A Dog's Purpose director Lasse Hallström, actors KJ Apa and Josh Gad, and producer Gavin Polone have previously spoken out about feeling "shaken and sad" over what transpired. Meanwhile, the red carpet premiere and press event for the movie was canceled. A Dog's Purpose's production company, Amblin Entertainment, said its team "followed rigorous protocols to foster an ethical and safe environment for the animals" and that it would "continue to review the circumstances shown in the edited footage." Hercules, the group added, is "happy and healthy." (Eonline)

A Dog's Purpose: Josh Gad and Lasse Hallström "Shaken" Over Animal Mistreatment. PETA has called for a boycott of the film A Dog's Purpose after a video surfaced on TMZ Wednesday showing a trainer apparently forcing a German Shepherd into turbulent waters. In the video, which has since gone viral, the dog clawed at the pool's edge and tried to run away while an animal trainer tried to force the animal into the rushing water. Off-camera, someone laughed at the dog's struggle. "You just got to throw him in," the person said. TMZ reported the scene was shot in Winnipeg, Canada, in November 2015. Once video was made public, PETA asked dog lovers to boycott the film "to send the message that dogs and other animals should be treated humanely, not as movie props." After reviewing the footage, Lisa Lange, PETA's senior vice president, added, "This movie is directed towards those who love dogs and, clearly, this is not a dog's purpose." The animal-rights group is targeting a specific animal supplier: Birds & Animals Unlimited. Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures issued a new joint statement Thursday evening. "Because Amblin's review into the edited video released yesterday is still ongoing, distributor Universal Pictures has decided it is in the best interest of A Dog's Purpose to cancel this weekend's premiere and press junket. Amblin and Universal do not want anything to overshadow this film that celebrates the relationship between animals and humans," the statement read. "Since the emergence of the footage, Amblin has engaged with many associated with the production of the film, including safety personnel, trainers and stunt coordinators as part of their in-depth review. While we are all disheartened by the appearance of an animal in distress, everyone has assured us that Hercules the German Shepherd was not harmed throughout the filmmaking." "We continue to support this film, are incredibly proud of it and will release it for audiences nationwide next Friday." Based on W. Bruce Cameron's bestselling novel of the same, the movie tells the story of a dog who realizes the meaning of life after being re-incarnated, which brings him into the lives of many owners. The movie stars Pooch Hall, Peggy Lipton, Britt Robertson and Dennis Quaid. Josh Gad, who voices a dog in the film, issued his own statement via Twitter Wednesday. "A few months ago, I was approached to lend my voice to the film A Dog's Purpose. As I sat in a dark screening room, I was beyond touched and moved by what I saw...a movie that captures the beauty and pain of loving a pet. I signed on for a film that truly stands out as one of the most beautiful love letters to animals I have ever seen," Gad began. "Today, however, I saw a disturbing video that appears to show a scared German Shepherd being forced to perform a stunt on the set of this film. While I do not know all the details and cannot speak to the level of care and caution that went into this moment (as I was never on set for the making of this film), I am shaken and sad to see any animal put in a situation against its will." "As a proud dog owner and a fervent supporter of organizations like PETA," the 35-year-old actor said, "I have reached out to the production team and studio to ask for an explanation." The film's director, Lasse Hallström, was equally appalled. "I am very disturbed by the video released today from the set of my film A Dog's Purpose," he tweeted. "I did not witness these actions. We were all committed to providing a loving and safe environment for all the animals in the film. I have been promised that a thorough investigation into this situation is underway and that any wrongdoing will be reported and punished." Six hours later, Hallström returned to Twitter to reiterate his earlier comments. "I have been a lifelong animal lover and A Dog's Purpose is my third film about dogs," the director, 70, tweeted. "The animals' safety was of utmost priority for both myself and everyone on the set." The American Humane Association, which monitored the action on set, was also "disturbed" after reviewing the footage. "When the dog showed signs of resistance to jumping in the water, the scene should have been stopped," the organization told E! News in a statement. "We are placing the safety representative who was on the set on administrative leave immediately and are bringing in an independent third party to conduct an investigation into this matter." Gavin Polone, who produced the film, is a longtime animal rights activist. Speaking to Deadline Wednesday, he too was "horrified" by the video. "The first thing I asked was, 'Is the dog OK?' He's fine. But if I had seen that, I would have stopped it in a minute. People have to be held responsible for this. It was someone's job to watch out for this kind of thing. Why didn't they?" Polone, who estimated he was on the first unit about 70 percent of the time, added that he "never saw, in any way, the animal handlers stressing out the animal. But I wasn't there for the second unit. If I had been, I would have stopped it. All I can say is that I hope that bringing this out leads to better treatment of animals. I know the studio is outraged and investigating this." UPDATE: A Dog's Purpose star KJ Apa is speaking out on social media about the controversy surrounding the upcoming film. "First things first, I LOVE ALL ANIMALS and would never EVER condone inhumane treatment or abuse of an animal at any time. I was saddened to see the footage from the set of A Dog's Purpose -- a film I was honored to act in, in 2015," he shared with his Twitter followers. "The video was hard to watch, and I understand why many of you have had the reactions that you did because I had the same ones. The footage is still being investigated, from my own experience, I only encountered cast and crewmembers who had unconditional love and respect for every single dog on set, and went to great lengths to assure their safety and wellbeing." The actor added, "I want you guys to know that I would NEVER attach myself to a project that didn't treat animals with the utmost care, and honestly, the possibility that an animal could've been hurt is troubling to me. I have been assured that Hercules is happy and healthy." (Eonline)

M. Night Shyamalan wrote, produced and directed the new horror film "Split" as a response of sorts to TV's "Scandal." "I am in a house full of girls, and when I want to watch the game, all they want to watch is 'Scandal,'?" he told Page Six. "I take the fact that ['Scandal' creator] Shonda Rimes is on every television in my house, and I take that frustration and I write dark stories .?.?. Even though the film is scary, it is funny and surprisingly emotional .?.?. It is sick, twisted stuff .?.?. that is strangely moving." (Page Six)

What a 'Deadpool' Best Picture Nomination Would Signal to Hollywood. The Merc with the Mouth could make history at Tuesday's Academy Awards announcement. Does the guy in red deserve to be nominated for a guy in gold? Well, I am nerd, not an awards analyst, so I can't necessarily argue the finer points of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' process for doling out the statues. However, as said nerd, I can throw out there what I think the message a Deadpool best picture nomination should send to Hollywood execs, who for far too long have played it safe with superhero films in an effort to not exclude the younger crowd -- and, more importantly, their money. When Tuesday's nominations are announced, Deadpool could make history as the first superhero picture to be nominated in the category. In a world full of sequels and prequels, soft reboots of hard reboots, Deadpool is a breath of fresh air, especially because it is ... (looks around real fast, then whispers) a superhero film. Think of how hard it is to deliver something new that audiences have never seen before. We are now on our third big screen Spider-Man in Tom Holland and our fifth Batman in Ben Affleck. More than just starting a fresh character, Deadpool proved that you could have a hardcore superhero flick and that it would make money, too. That is a biggie. Seeing PG-13 horror movies and reboots of films that were once hard Rs getting their teeth removed so kids can buy tickets (I am looking at you RoboCop) is just so played out. Deadpool made money. Deadpool made a lot of money. And Deadpool was R, and not just R, but a hard R. (Reynolds, if you're reading this, I hope you giggled.) But seriously, that is the point. (Me, screaming toward The Hollywood Sign): It is OK to have superhero films for adults! It won't absolutely hurt the bottom line, and may even be a huge boost! And should Deadpool be nominated for best picture, which, by the way, some actual awards experts say is a real possibility, then that does it. The bell will have been rung and finally execs and studios won't have to have that, "but what about the children?!" moment when a good, mature project comes along. And they won't have to say, "there's no way this movie can get that awards prestige we as a studio desperately want." Almost as important as money is the prestige that comes along with the golden statue, especially when the project is unique (how cool is getting a nomination without anyone accusing a film of being "Oscar-bait"?). And let's face it, it don't get more unique that Deadpool. So yeah, it sure seems to us nerds here at Heat Vision like Deadpool achieved excellence in cinematic achievement. We will find out Tuesday if others agree. (Hollywood Reporter)

Wanda Denies Legendary's Thomas Tull Was Fired Over 'The Great Wall'. In an unconventional statement posted to its website, the Chinese conglomerate rebutted media reports and hinted that attaining global distribution capacities is its goal for 2017. Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group issued a statement Friday denying media reports that Legendary Entertainment founder Thomas Tull was forced out of the company because of disappointment over the studio's latest big-budget film, The Great Wall. "Such reports are pure speculation," Wanda said in a statement posted to its website. "The Great Wall has just begun its global release, and it hasn't even opened in North America yet. To say that [the film] is a failure is pure imagination." "The personnel changes at Legendary are part of larger strategic arrangements being made at Wanda Pictures," the statement said. "We have major news to be announced soon," it added. Tull resigned as chairman and CEO of Legendary on Tuesday. The former financial-industry executive founded Legendary in 2005 as a vehicle for investing in big-budget films, such as Warner Bros.' The Dark Knight. In 2013, it became an independent studio at Universal, before selling to Wanda for a reported $3.5 billion early last year. He was said to be in a multiyear contract with Wanda, but terms of his deals have not been disclosed. The Great Wall has made about $165 million in China and $200 million worldwide so far. Directed by Chinese master Zhang Yimou and starring Matt Damon and an array of local stars, the film cost $150 million to make, the most ever for a U.S.-China co-production. Speaking in Davos at the World Economic Forum on Wednesday, Wanda chairman Wang Jianlin called the film "an experiment" for Chinese cinema on the world stage. "It's hitting $200 million," he said. "If it can reach $400 million or $500 million around the world, it will be a success and means a Chinese story can be a box office hit." Few analysts expect The Great Wall will reach such heights, however. Critics have not been kind, and many have viewed its China performance as coming in under expectation. In Tull's absence, Wanda insider and international CEO Jack Gao is holding the reins until a replacement is hired. "We are thankful to Thomas for his founding vision," Gao said in a statement Tuesday announcing the changes. "Wanda aims to transform Legendary into a next-generation studio ... with a far-reaching creative and global platform." Sources told THR Thursday that Wanda is courting former Fox film-studio chief Jim Gianopulos to take the helm and oversea an expansion of Legendary into a full-fledged studio with global marketing and distribution capacities. A representative for Wanda said, "We don't comment on rumors," and Gianopulos could not be reached for comment. But Wanda's statement on Friday suggested that a major escalation at Legendary could be chief among its goals. In reference to "the larger strategic arrangements being made at Wanda Pictures," the statement urged readers to review Wanda's year-end report, which company chairman Wang Jianlin presented to staff at a corporate gathering in eastern China last week. In the report, Wang highlights his goals in the film sector under a section titled "Key Tasks of 2017." Priorities include reaching 20 percent market share of the global box office by 2020 and attaining capacities at each link in the film business industrial chain, to boost efficiency and allow Wanda to compete on equal footing with the Hollywood majors. "There are tens of thousands of film companies around the world, but there are only the big six in Hollywood which have global distribution capabilities," Wang said. "Even if Wanda controls 20 percent market share at the global box office [as an exhibitor], if it cannot distribute its own films to the world, the company lacks core competitiveness in the film industry." "So, now we will focus on this issue," he said. In Davos on Wednesday, Wang reiterated his desire to simply acquire one of Hollywood's top studios -- "I would be a happy buyer." But none of them are currently for sale, he noted. So, Wanda appears to have set its sights on expanding Legendary instead. And Tull, for one, is not their man for the job. (Hollywood Reporter)

"Lethal Weapon" star Clayne Crawford was shooting a scene when an LAPD officer busted it up ... purely by accident, but that's not the most embarrassing part for the cop. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... one of their own made the blunder last week while the FOX show was filming near city hall. We're told the director had to cut the action until the cop got out of the way. To make matters worse, she told everyone afterward her Hollywood faux pas was totally worth it because at least Johnny Depp waved and smiled at her. Her joy turned to disappointment when she was later told Johnny was nowhere near the set. Turns out her "Depp" was really Crawford ... who does bear a striking resemblance to Donnie Brasco. Better luck next time, officer. (TMZ)

Girl Meets World Series Finale: How Did It All End for Riley and Maya? The show may be over (for now), but Riley and Maya will be friends forever. Girl Meets World's series finale was filled with nostalgic nods to Boy Meets World -- including nearly its entire cast and actual clips of the series finale -- but there was also no shortage of the friendships and humor that we're deeply going to miss if the show doesn't find a new home. We never really thought Topanga (Danielle Fishel) would force her family to move to London when they so clearly did not want to, but apparently the decision was so hard for her that she had to bring in her husband's entire family and two of their high school teachers (with not a single member of her own family in sight) to help. Everyone pretty much told her to follow her heart, so they really weren't very helpful. It was, however, great fun to see everybody. Eric (Will Friedle) and Mr. Feeney (William Daniels) still appear to be feuding, and Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) regrets not having adopted Shawn (before Mr. Turner had that horrible motorcycle accident and disappeared forever). Both of the Morgans (Lindsay Ridgeway and Lily Nicksay) showed up as Morgan, with one even tagging the other out and taking over for her in a scene, leaving Auggie (August Maturo) to wonder if he was also going to be replaced. Shawn (Rider Strong) also announced that he was going to legally adopt Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), meaning she now has a father, and we're not crying, you are! Meanwhile, the kids prepared to say goodbye to Riley (Rowan Blanchard). It was a goodbye we knew they probably wouldn't actually have to say, but it was sweet to watch them express their love for each other anyway. Cory even got in on the fun with yet another lesson that directly compared to whatever was going on in his daughter's life, no doubt annoying the other kids in the class one last time. Of course, Topanga decided not to take the job and uproot her family, and it all had something to do with how she always wished she had a bay window, and the cafe was now her bay window, meaning all the goodbyes were really just a way for the characters to say goodbye to us instead of each other. So life will go on for Riley, Maya, and the rest of the crew, and hopefully we'll get to watch it happen if another network or streaming service finds a way to pick up the show. Hopefully this ending was just a new beginning. (Eonline)

The Flash & Supergirl's Musical Crossover Will Include Performances From So Many of Your CW Faves. The list of musically-inclined CW stars getting in on the fun during the highly-anticipated musical crossover event between The Flash and Supergirl is here -- and it's better than we ever could've hoped. The network announced on Friday that alongside the expected performances from Glee alumni Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist, a handful of talent from the Berlanti-verse of DC TV shows will show off their singing chops. The other stars singing in the big event are Jesse L. Martin, Victor Garber, Carlos Valdes, Jeremy Jordan and John Barrowman. With much of the action contained in the March 21 episode of The Flash (though the fun will begin a night earlier at the end of Supergirl's new episode), Supergirl's David Harewood and Chris Wood will also be crossing over -- although they'll be leaving the singing to their co-workers. In the two-part crossover, our favorite superheroes will do battle with DC Comics villain The Music Meister, executive producer Greg Berlanti confirmed at the 2017 Winter TCA Press Tour. And while the character was famously voiced by Neil Patrick Harris in the Batman: The Brave and the Bold animated series, the live-action version has yet to be cast. "When we get to the musical episode, both Barry and Kara will find themselves at pivotal crossroads on their respective series, and the experience of going through the musical will have a great impact on both series going forward," EP Andrew Kreisberg told reporters. As for whether the crossover will include covers or original tunes written for the occasion, he couldn't say just yet. "We're still writing the script and trying to figure out exactly what we're going to do." Are you looking forward to the big musical crossover? Anyone you were hoping to hear belt out a tune that's not listed? Supergirl returns with new episodes Monday, Jan. 23, while The Flash returns the following night, both at 8 p.m. on the CW. House of Cards Season 5 Premiere Date Revealed With Chilling Message. Netflix picked a very interesting day to announce the House of Cards season five premiere date. The show's official Twitter account tweeted the video along with the message, "We make the terror,'" on Donald Trump's Inauguration Day. The video features children reciting the Pledge of Allegiance while an upside down flag waves in front of the White House. Season five of the Netflix drama, which stars Kevin Spacey as President Frank Underwood and Robin Wright as his wife, and possibly vice president, Claire Underwood, will premiere on Tuesday, May 30. Confused about the "We make the terror" comment? Season four ended with a hostage crisis and the Underwoods negotiating to end it, while using the situation to their advantage in the election cycle. But the hostage situation wasn't exactly a happy ending -- the terrorists live-streamed the death. Meanwhile, Hammerschmidt (Boris McGiver), published an article about Underwood's dastardly dealings with Remy (Mahershala Ali), Jackie (Molly Parker) and President Walker (Michel Gill). Still foggy about what happened in the fourth season? We've got you covered with our binge blur guide. The season four cast also included Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Neve Campbell, Derek Cecil, Nathan Darrow, Kim Dickens, Elizabeth Marvel, Paul Sparks, Ellen Burstyn, Joel Kinnaman and Cicely Tyson. Patricia Clarkson and Campbell Scott are among the new faces joining the show for season five. Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese will serve as the new showrunners after creator Beau Willimon stepped down after season four. House of Cards season five premieres May 30 on Netflix. Mom Needs to Bring Back Chris Pratt ASAP. At long last, Christy's sex drought on Mom has come to an end -- and all it took was a visit from Anna Faris' real-life hubby Chris Pratt to bring the rain. (We literally can think of no better person to break a dry spell with, TBH.) Sure, as Marjorie's (Mimi Kennedy) nephew Nick, Pratt's character turned out to be a possibly insane stage-five clinger who didn't really seem to understand that Christy was ending things, despite her transition from letting him down easily to a more direct, blunt approach, but there was also repeated barnyard banging, so it was pretty much a wash. And with the open-ended nature of Christy's last encounter with Nick, we're already begging for a repeat performance. Look, we're no dummies -- we know the former Parks and Recreation star is firmly in the demanding and much more lucrative movie star phase in his career. (Despite the brutal reception to Passengers -- his first real flop -- we've got a feeling his box office draw will rebound quite nicely with this summer's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.) We're not expecting or even advocating for something even remotely permanent. Besides, this is Faris and Allison Janney's show. Mom doesn't need him. But given the effortless chemistry that can only be generated by actual spouses who can't seem to get enough of each other in real-life, plus Pratt's ceaseless ability to make us laugh, we'd love to see Nick pop up once or twice a season, still completely convinced that he and Christy are going to spend the rest of their lives together. Mom gets a lot of praise for its fearless exploration of situations that aren't always sources of obvious comedy (addiction, sudden loss and, just last week, miscarriages, to name a few) -- from this very site, even! -- but this episode was stellar proof of just how wildly funny the show often is on a weekly basis. Can you blame us for wanting more? (OK, OK -- it also doesn't hurt that Pratt's easy on eyes, either.) Mom airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CBS. (Eonline)

Black-ish Spinoff in the Works at ABC: Which Character Is Getting Their Own Show? They grow up so fast! ABC is looking to add a Black-ish spinoff to their comedy line-up, E! News has confirmed, and it would mean one member of the Johnson family would be getting their own show. Yara Shahidi, who plays eldest daughter Zoey, would star in the proposed spinoff, which would follow her as she heads off to college. Black-ish's series creator and executive producer Kenya Barris would oversee the college-set sitcom. Deadline, who broke the news of the potential spinoff, reports that the new show would be introduced as a backdoor pilot in a spring episode of Black-ish, and that talks are in the very early stages. A Zoey-centric spinoff would make sense, as this season has featured the 17-year-old prepping for her future, including landing an internship at Teen Vogue. (How very Lauren Conrad of her!) Coincidentally, Shahidi, 16, recently covered an issue of the magazine, along with Girl Meets World star Rowan Blanchard. Now in its third season, Black-ish has earned praise from viewers and critics, and star Tracee Ellis Ross recently took home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. The show and leading man Anthony Anderson were also nominated. ABC is also looking to do a spinoff of one of its other family sitcoms as well, as network is developing a '90s-set show based on The Goldbergs' Mellor, the high school gym teacher played by Bryan Callen. Black-ish airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. on ABC. (Eonline)

Jennifer Aniston became a household name with her role on NBC's Friends, but has yet to make her return to television, aside from small cameos. Now Aniston, 47, may be looking to go back to the small screen. "I've thought about it a lot. That's where the work is. That's where the quality is," The Yellow Birds actress recently told Variety. "At this point in my career, I want to be part of wonderful stories, exciting characters, and also just having a good time." On her acting career, Aniston remembered how far she's come in showbiz. "When you're in your 20s, going away from home was an adventure -- meeting new people, seeing other parts of the country or world was so exciting," she said. "Now it's really about wanting to stay closer to home and just enjoying your time." Concluding, "It goes really fast. The experience needs to be a good experience. I have no time for the yelling, angry directors, or bad behavior anymore." And speaking about her Hollywood experience, Aniston admitted that she didn't think her open letter to tabloids, which she wrote in July, has changed the culture of how false pregnancy rumors and body shaming are publicized. "It's definitely in people's consciousness a lot more. But you're always going to have the Piers Morgans of the world contradicting something that comes from the heart and saying, 'You're a hypocrite,'" she explained. (People)

This Is Us Cast Gushing About "Captain" Milo Ventimiglia Will Make Your Day. There is no shortage of love for Milo Ventimiglia among his This Is Us co-stars. Following the breakout NBC hit's panel at the 2017 Winter TCA Press Tour -- where the network announced that the show had been renewed for not one, but two more seasons -- E! News caught up the cast and they couldn't stop singing the praises of the man who they lovingly look to as their leader. "He's the best captain of any ship," Chrissy Metz, who stars as Ventimiglia's grown daughter Kate, gushed. "I am so grateful for his friendship, for his advice, for his knowledge. And he does it without ego. When I say I have this connection to him, it's honest." For Mandy Moore, who shares most of her screentime with the Gilmore Girls vet as his wife Rebecca, Ventimiglia is not only a leader, but also a source of crucial information while on set. "He's the one that galvanizes everyone to hang out together. Somehow information makes its way to him first," she said. "I'm surprised he didn't know about the pick-up before any of us. He's that guy. He knows everyone. Everybody loves him. He talks to everybody." It's perhaps Sterling K. Brown, who stars as Jack and Rebecca's adopted son Randall in the present day storyline, who put his adoration of his co-star into the most succinct terms, though. "He's really one of the best human beings I've met in my life, truly," the Emmy winner told us. Of course, the Pearson family love is no one-way street. For as much praise as he got, Ventimiglia was ready to give even more. "I've done a lot of work and I've been around a lot of talented kind people, and it's just one of those things where I think to myself, 'Damn it, I'm here again with the kindest and most talented,'" he admitted. "To know that we're going to be her for a little while doing this is, of course, just really exciting." As for that whole "leader" thing, Ventimiglia characteristically downplayed things -- which is such a Jack thing to do! "So, if you know anything about the structure of production, they'll have a department head," he explained. "I've kind of been coined the acting department head. So, I guess means I've got to give the good news and the bad news, as well as make sure there's support and everybody's heard. Again, I'm lucky to be around this talented group of people." No, Milo. We're the lucky ones. This Is Us also stars Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan and Ron Cephas Jones. In the next new episode, Jack and Rebecca will find themselves in over their heads when they decide to throw Randal, Kevin and Kate three separate parties for their 10th birthday. In present day, Randall struggles to make time for William as his work life grows intense, while Kevin makes a major decision in his romantic life and Kate's gastric bypass journey takes an unexpected turn. This Is Us airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)

'Sherlock' Leak: Employee "Non-Maliciously Broke" Security Protocols, Russia's Channel One Says. The network speaks of a "gross dereliction of duty" and says content security has been "completely revised." Russia's Channel One has blamed the leak of the Russian-language version of the final episode of season 4 for BBC hit show Sherlock on one of its employees who "non-maliciously broke" the company's security procedures. "We regret to confirm that one of our employees non-maliciously broke our strict security protocols," Channel One said in a statement Friday. "As a result of this gross dereliction of duty, the file leaked online. The Russian broadcaster added: "We would like to reassure our partners and viewers, that as a result of this incident, we have completely revised our content security procedures to ensure that this does not happen again and we apologize to Hartswood Films, BBC Worldwide and Sherlock fans everywhere who have been impacted by this leak." BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, said: "Further to Channel One's findings that this was an isolated non-intentional content security lapse on the part of an employee, BBC Worldwide welcomes their reassurances that they will be tightening security procedures to eliminate any similar future risks and we will work closely with them to ensure this happens." The Russian version of Sherlock' episode The Final Problem, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, was aired on Channel One this Sunday, one minute behind the airing on the BBC. However, its pirated copy was available online a day before that. Earlier this week, Russia's communications watchdog Roskomnadzor demanded that all pirated versions of the episode be taken down. "We have a court decision and have sent hosting providers a demand to delete the illegal content," a spokesman for Roskomnadzor was quoted as saying by the news agency TASS. Under Russian law, a provider has three days to delete illegal content. (Hollywood Reporter)
