Slash pile burns scheduled Thursday and Friday in Huachuca Canyon

Fort Huachuca, Arizona -- Fort Huachuca and the USFS will burn slash piles in Huachuca Canyon here Thursday and Friday.  This will consist of burning each individual pile and pushing/spreading out the ash piles so they cool off overnight. The burning will start each day in the morning around 8:30 a.m. and lighting should be done by 1 p.m.
