Striping means overnight restrictions on 32nd Street in Yuma

Overnight restrictions will be in place on 32nd Street in Yuma next week so crews can stripe the newly added roadway surface.

Arizona Department of Transportation crews are scheduled to work from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Sunday, Jan. 8, to Thursday, Jan. 12, with completion scheduled by 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13. One lane will remain open in both directions at all times with the speed limit reduced to 35 mph in the work zone.

The striping will complete a project to resurface 32nd Street between Avenue 3E and Avenue 8½ E. Much of the work was completed in November.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
