Repair work continues on State Route 83 southeast of Tucson
State Route 83 southeast of Tucson will be narrowed to one lane between mileposts 42 and 44 from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.Tuesday, May 2, and Wednesday, May 3, so crews can repair guardrail damaged by the Sawmill Fire.
One lane will remain open at all times.
Crews and traffic devices will guide drivers through the work zone.
Drivers should expect delays of up to 10 minutes.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions and closures, but it’s possible that unscheduled impacts might occur because of weather or other factors.
