David Bowie's Son Duncan Jones Welcomes Child on Six-Month Anniversary of Singer's Death. Something tell us David Bowie would be a pretty proud grandfather right about now. The late singer's son, Duncan Jones, took to Twitter on Friday with an extra special announcement regarding the birth of his son with wife Rodene Ronquillo. "Stenton David Jones. Born July 10th, exactly six months after his grandad made room for him. Love you both so," the director wrote alongside a cartoon image of the father and son embracing their little bundle of joy. Now Bowie's legacy can live on even longer, as the couple paid tribute to the iconic artist via their son's middle name. For the eldest son of Bowie, Stenton's birth is a reminder of the final days he spent with his father. "When we found out what the gender of our baby was going to be, we were able to get the doctor to write it on a card without us seeing it and then I got to spend Christmas with my dad and he actually told us what the gender was going to be," Jones told E! News exclusively in May. Jones posted a version of the hand-drawn card without the gender reveal on his Twitter a month after Bowie died from liver cancer on Jan. 10. Jones said, "We found the time to do all of the family stuff that we wanted to do, got a chance to spend some time together have our talks and say our goodbyes and things like that." (Eonline)

Lindsay Lohan is still off the market and still plans to walk down the aisle -- at least that's what she's telling friends, even after her blowout fight with Egor Tarabasov. Sources close to LiLo tell TMZ, as far as she's concerned, she and Egor are engaged and the fight was a bump in the road. We're told Lindsay wants to work things out, which is why she's still wearing her engagement ring during her sudden getaway on an Italian yacht. Our sources think the couple might be doomed though ... unless Lindsay stops making excuses for Egor's angry outbursts. People around her think that's one thing that's gotta change. At this time it's unclear exactly what Egor wants moving forward. (TMZ)

The Cosby Show's Keshia Knight Pulliam Responds to Ed Hartwell's Divorce Filing. Keshia Knight Pulliam has made her move when it comes to her divorce from Ed Hartwell. The Cosby Show star responded to her ex's divorce filing yesterday in a Fulton County Superior Court, and asks the court to grant her all the property and assets acquired before and during their marriage, as well as their Atlanta home. The documents, obtained by E! News, state that the 36-year-old star "be awarded, on a temporary and permanent basis, the exclusive use and possession of the residence where she currently resides," along with "all of the assets that she acquired during the parties' short term marriage, which relate and result from her work and efforts." Pulliam does state that any and all marital property and marital assets "be equitably divided by the court." Additionally, the actress' court filing states that she "admits only the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation," and also made a point to note that there is a child on the way. "Respondent further shows the Court that while there are no children currently born of this marriage, one is expected." Less than seven months after secretly marrying each other, and less than a week after announcing the two are expecting their first child together, the professional athlete filed for divorce from the actress. Hartwell also reportedly requested that Keshia take a paternity test. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Pulliam stated that they almost split before because of infidelity. "In the process, I found out I was pregnant. And I had to take another hard look and decide if I wanted to try to work through this and forgive him for the sake of the child. Like, I had divorce papers ready. I presented it to him...Once I was pregnant I did decide to give him that one last chance." She continued, "The part that hurt me the most when he filed for divorce was that he had asked me to give him another chance, and I was willing to do that and forgive him, for our family." The star also reassures that she's carrying his baby, and says, "If we don't want to be married, that's fine, because we agree on that. But this baby is what's important, and I feel like that's being lost." (Eonline)

Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey Apologizes for Offending LGBT Community Amidst Fake Coming Out. Tyler Posey just stirred up a bit of controversy on the Internet. The Teen Wolf actor was posting videos on Snapchat while hanging out with his friends on Friday, but one video caught everyone's attention more than others, because it seemed like the 24-year-old was coming out as gay. Recording a street sign that said "Gay St.," you hear Posey telling his followers, "This is me. I am this and this is me. I've never felt more alive," and then turns the camera on himself and yells, "I'm gay!" At the time, a source close to Posey told E! News, "Tyler did not 'come out' on Snapchat." With Twitterverse blowing up in a storm after the video was publicized, Posey quickly backtracked the following morning, issuing an apology as well as a clarification about his sexuality. "I am a big proponent of love over hate, and standing together during divisive times," Posey wrote. "Although I'm not gay, I fully support the LGBTQ community. This was a moment intended to reflect that." "And everyone, I am truly sorry to the people I've offended or lessened how big coming out is. I just want to spread love in this world," he added. In October of 2014, Posey called off his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Seana Gorlick. The MTV actor broke the news at the ASPCA Cocktail Event in honor of Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and Nikki Reed, and admitted at the time that he's still trying to wrap his head around the split. "You're the first interview I've said this to. We have broken up," he explained. "I'm just gonna get it out there because I get sad talking about it. I'm just gonna get it out there now so hopefully people start hearing about it." (Eonline)

Montel Williams just got a lesson in German law -- you can't fly with weed, unless you've got a serious medical condition ... which is how he avoided getting arrested. Montel's rep tells us he was traveling through the Frankfurt airport with his wife early Friday, and got stopped by customs agents. They discovered marijuana in his carry-on which Montel uses to help treat his MS and detained him for questioning. We're told Montel informed cops the pot was only medication and called his team back in the U.S. to send over proof of his prescription. Williams' rep says once Montel presented the proof, the German authorities were cool with everything and let him go. He was held for less than an hour. Montel's rep, Jon Franks, tells us, "Unfortunately this is the reality faced by medical marijuana patients every day all over the world. Today, Montel reaffirms his commitment to fighting for sensible medical marijuana policies across the world and to fighting the stigma he and so many other seriously ill Americans face every day for simply following the advice of their doctor." Prost! (TMZ)

Miss Texas Karlie Hay Crowned Miss Teen USA 2016. Ladies and gentlemen, meet your new Miss Teen USA. Out of 51 beautiful contestants, Miss Texas Teen Karlie Hay wowed the judges like nobody else with her brains, talent and beauty Saturday night at the annual beauty pageant held inside The Venetian in Las Vegas. While there were plenty of reasons to celebrate in the final moments of the telecast streamed live online, Karlie and all the finalists went through quite a weekend before a winner was crowned. In fact, Miss Texas' toughest task may have come during the Q&A portion. Musician and judge Savannah Keyes wanted to know what the future president should tackle with teens first. "Peer pressure, hands down," Karlie said in front of a sold-out crowd before addressing drinking, drugs and partying. "The next president needs to confront this issue and tell teens that you need to be yourself and be a leader and of course the next Miss Teen USA needs to be a leader." Pretty solid answer, right? The answer was enough for Miss Texas to beat runner-up Miss North Carolina Emily Wakeman and second runner-up Miss South Carolina Marley Stokes. Miss Alabama and Miss Nevada rounded out the top five. So what did the contestants have to experience during the show? For starters, 51 ladies quickly turned into 15 semi-finalists at the beginning of the telecast. Soon after, the young women were asked to wear Tapout athletic wear and evening gowns before the final five were revealed. For those who don't recall, organizers announced the end of the swimsuit competition in exchange for a brand-new clothing competition. The decision came in an effort to show support for feminism and equality. Many eyes were also on Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley who was representing the state of Tennessee. While the reality star made it through to the semi-finals, the judges included Total Divas star Eva Marie, journalist Lu Parker and former beauty pageant queens Keylee Sanders and Hillary Cruz couldn't advance her into the top five. "No matter what the outcome is...I have been extremely blessed with great new friendships," Savannah wrote on Instagram before live broadcast. "I will never stop trying to make a difference in this world." (Eonline)

Carmelo Anthony Is Not Impressed as Team USA's Basketball Team Sings Vanessa Carlton Before Summer Olympics. Ever wonder what the United States men's basketball team does in the days leading up to the Summer Olympic Games? Sing along to Vanessa Carlton, obviously. Less than one week until competitions kick off in Rio, Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving and other teammates documented their plane ride where one song really got them moving, shaking and singing. Turn up the volume because "A Thousand Miles" is about to begin! "Cause I need you / And I miss you / And know I wonder," the group is seen singing. "If I could fall into the sky /Do you think time would pass me by. Cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles / If I could just see you tonight." While plenty of the athletes were totally into the track, one superstar didn't want to take part in the impromptu karaoke. As the camera panned to Carmelo Anthony, the New York Knicks star wanted a nap more than a sing-along. "I feel ya," Vanessa joked on Twitter after watching the videos. "They did pretty well though x." Teammate DeMar DeRozan added, "Melo ain't having it... " Before participating in their first games in Rio, Team USA is participating in a pre-Olympic warm-up tour. On Saturday, they touched down in Houston just two days before their game against Nigeria. Their first match in Rio is scheduled for August 6, just one day after the Opening Ceremonies air on NBC. Miss Honduras Stripped of Crown Amid Miss Universe Pageant Scandal. Another day, another beauty pageant scandal. Miss Universe Honduras Sirey Morán was stripped of her crown and title, and she will not be able to participate in this year's Miss Universe pageant. The announcement came late last week as the organization claims that she had not complied with her contract, according to LatinTimes. After that, things got a little crazy. Morán didn't stay quiet and quickly fired back at Carlos Rivera, the director of Carimaxx, which is the organization that has the rights to the pageant in Honduras. Morán sent a statement to El Heraldo about an incident with Rivera that occurred on June 30 at his New York residence. According to the beauty queen, a discussion over her participation in an event turned sour and things escalated quickly. She says that Rivera and another male verbally and physically attacked her to remove her cell phone after they realized she had recorded the conversation. That's when she ran out into the streets and called the police. Rivera tells a different story, he spoke to La Prensa and adamantly denied Moráns allegations, "I never hit her. That is my truth." There is also an audio tape in question, which Rivera said Morán altered. When asked if the Morán was officially out of the pageant he said, "Yes. I am the owner of this show, and if I say she isn't going, she isn't going. I no longer want to work with her and Sirey knows that very well." According to Rivera, problems between him and the beauty queen stem from her work ethic. "She would go to many events without discussing them with us. She would also participate in photo shoots for magazines without our authorization. She would do whatever she wanted. I would always tell her, 'You don't do this, we have to protect your image.' She didn't obey the contract's clause. She thinks she's in charge of this organization, but that's not the way it is," Rivera said. Rivera could not reveal the name of the pageant contestant that will take Morán's place because he fears that she will intimate and scare them about him. He hopes to be able to pick the next Miss Universe Honduras within the next two weeks. He concluded with wishing Morán the best and said that she could attempt to fight this, but she will not win. Jean-Claude Van Damme Storms Out of TV Interview: "What the F--k Is Going on With Australia?" Damn, Jean-Claude Van Damme is not a morning person. The action star appeared via satellite on the Australian morning show Sunrise Thursday, but his interview didn't go as planned. Van Damme -- who is doing interviews to promote an upcoming speaking tour -- was frustrated with the technical setup for the TV interview. "I just...Guys, you are talking behind the cameras. This is a direct line. It's good to have them, by the way, so people can understand this," the Belgin Bloodsport actor complained. "I'm online talking to you and I have people behind that camera talking about...because I'm sweating and everything. So, I'm not looking anymore for...I'm looking to be as natural as possible when I come to Australia." Van Damme added, "I just want to talk to the people there." In a 2012 interview with The Guardian, Van Damme admitted to having an affair with Kylie Minogue on the set of 1994's Street Fighter. Asked about Minogue again, he got annoyed. "Yeah, I like Kylie, I like everybody -- can I please come to Australia and talk to you? Sorry guys, I cannot do this anymore. You are talking to a guy who's very rough, you know? Let me talk. It's good for the people; they can hear that. Let me talk please," he said. "Those questions, the press, they have been asking me the same questions for the last 25 years. 'Kylie?' 'How's your training?' 'How's your this?' 'How's your that?' So, I'm coming to Australia to maybe do something kind of different with the audience." "I'm 55 years old. So I'm not anymore 35, 25. I'm 55 years old," he continued. "So I've got a different view of life, and we'll talk about this in Australia. But those interview you are giving me on TV right now, they are very boring. Because the questions are boring. It's difficult for me to answer the question, so I start to sweat. I don't feel good, because then I'm very...they are boring. Next question? You have something interesting to ask me?" Van Damme then stood up, claiming he had to go to the restroom, and tore off his microphone. "What the f--k is going on with Australia? What the f--k is going on?" the actor said while removing his mic. "I cannot do this. I'm too natural. You can blow this stuff away. What is this?" The actor, who is on location in Bangkok, will start his speaking tour Down Under next month. (Eonline)

Kym Johnson Jets to Las Vegas for Bachelorette Party Before Marrying Robert Herjavec (Plus, Fangirls Over Meeting a Surprise A-Lister!). Kym Johnson's bachelorette party was total goals. The Dancing With the Stars pro flew to Las Vegas on Friday night with a group of her closest gal and guy pals for a fun-filled evening that even included a chance meeting with one of Johnson's favorite actresses. Robert Herjavec's fiance partied the night away alongside DWTS co-star Cheryl Burke and stylist Carson Kressley, which (lucky for us!) was all documented on Johnson's Instagram account. The group helped the bride-to-be kick things off with princess-themed party decorations and tiaras before heading off to see Jennifer Lopez's All I Have residency performance at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. And If VIP tickets to J.Lo's concert enough to give you total bachelorette envy, how about none other than Nicole Kidman stopping by to surprise you? Yes, that's right! The A-lister couldn't help but offer her well wishes to Johnson during the evening. Kym shared multiple photos of their newfound friendship, writing, "And then I met Nicole Kidman what a whirlwind of a bachelorette I had." Shark Tank's Herjavec popped the question with a 6.5-carat diamond ring in February 2016 after performing as partners on the reality competition show. They later attended a 2016 Oscars after-party together, marking their first celebrity appearance as an engaged couple. "I never thought a year ago I'd meet someone who would change my life completely!" Johnson had said on Instagram last month. (Eonline)

There's only one thing crazier than spending $1.5 million on a Bugatti Veyron ... spending $50k just to get the damn thing fixed ... but that's exactly what Floyd Mayweather just did. We spoke to Obi Okeke from DoctorBugatti.com who tells us he just serviced Floyd's Bugatti ... and it came out to a little bit more than your annual trip to Pep Boys. Here's the breakdown ... 4 2015 Bugatti tires $33k ... basic service (oil & fluid changes) $23k ... then to top it off a $3k detailing service where the damn Armor All must be made out of 24k gold. Final price tag was well over $50k. Wanna feel even LESS normal? Obi says he's had to start AN ENTIRELY SEPARATE COMPANY to service Floyd's cars because he has to move them around for service so often. Just ... wow. (Eonline)

Kanye West was due to appear in the Hamptons this weekend, but he canceled at the last minute. An announcement was made last week in the New York Times, which proclaimed, "Kanye West will perform at a benefit for the Watermill Center" in collaboration with its artistic director Robert Wilson. But on Thursday, all mention of the rapper was removed from the center's Web site. A source tells us that West can't attend because "it was all too last-minute." Reps for the event said Thursday, "Robert Wilson and Kanye West have made an artistic decision to postpone their collaboration [until next year's event]." Even without West, it's still a must-attend, with performances by Pussy Riot and Anohni. (Page Six)

Judge Says He May Allow Cameras in Prince Estate Proceedings. A Minnesota judge overseeing Prince's estate said Thursday he'll consider allowing cameras in court on a hearing-by-hearing basis, but broader questions of access into business dealings of the late superstar's entertainment empire - and the many potential heirs claiming a stake to it - will have to wait. Media organizations have asked Carver County District Judge Kevin Eide to guarantee public access in the case. Prince, who died April 21 of a drug overdose, had no known will. With no living parents or established children, it's up to the court to sort out which siblings and people claiming to be his offspring will benefit. Eide has sealed some court filings from potential heirs, and the special administrator handling Prince's fortune has requested a blanket order to seal all business deals. The judge said he's trying to balance protecting the privacy of the fast-paced entertainment business world and the private histories of Prince's potential heirs while also serving the vast public interest in his life and legacy. After initially banning both cameras and sketch artists from the court room during previous hearings, Eide said Thursday he may grant future requests based on the content of a given hearing. Leita Walker, the attorney for news outlets, argued that any proceedings and filings regarding questions of paternity should be public. "We're dealing with adults who voluntarily entered themselves into this process for the sole purpose of obtaining a piece of Prince's estate," she said. An attorney for Brianna and Victoria Nelson, two potential heirs who initially requested that proceedings be closed and cameras banned, said Thursday they've reversed that position. But Doug Peterson of Bremer Trust, the court-appointed special estate administrator, said a more cautious approach should be considered, given claimants may have sensitive and private stories. He is also pushing to keep the estate's business dealings under wraps, asking Eide in a filing earlier this week to broadly seal business documents related to its efforts to monetize Prince's estate. Bremer said its potential partners expect confidentiality, and it could lose negotiating power in future deals if details become widely known. The only people to see proposed agreements involving Prince's music or likeness would be potential heirs and their attorneys, who would have the right to object. Walker asked Eide to provide a five-day window for news outlets to fight any attempt to make those documents private. Peterson objected: "We are in Day 90 of managing what in many ways is an entertainment empire. We do not want the media's interest ... to slow down the business process." Ken Abdo, an attorney for three of Prince's half-siblings, sided with Bremer, comparing the media's interest to "celebrity business voyeurism." And he argued that none of the business developments would be public if Prince were still alive. Walker said that changed when Prince's death launched his estate into the court system. (Billboard)

'Empire' Beats 'Gangsta Pimp's' $10M Copyright Suit. Empire didn't copy self-described "gangsta pimp" Ron Newt's life story Bigger Than Big, according to a California federal judge. Newt sued Lee Daniels, Terrence Howard and 20th Century Fox for $1 billion in April 2015, claiming they stole his story years after he spent three hours telling it to Howard. Shortly thereafter, he hired attorney Charles Coate and filed an amended complaint, dialing back his damages to $10 million. Fox fired back in October saying Empire is akin to a modern-day King Lear and not based on Newt's "crudely written, violent, regretful" work. U.S. District Court judge Consuelo Marshall dismissed the suit on Wednesday, finding there is no substantial similarity with respect to plot and the theme of "a bad person turning his life around" is unprotect able. To prevail, Newt would have had to prove he owned a valid copyright to Bigger Than Big, that the defendants had access to it and that Empire is substantially similar to it. Fox doesn't contest that Newt owns the book, screenplay and DVD of Bigger Than Big, or that defendants had access to it, so Marshall only considered the issue of substantial similarity. "Although the parties' works each follow an African American man who was involved in drug dealing and has sons pursuing a music career, Plaintiff's works and Empire are not substantially similar as to plot," writes Marshall. In Marshall's opinion, two-thirds of Newt's documentary centers on his work as a pimp in San Francisco, while the remaining third focuses on his sons' group the Newtrons, and his book and screenplay primarily focus on "the violence, sex, drugs and crime" surrounding Newt's life as a drug lord. Meanwhile, Marshall found Empire focuses on "the power struggle amongst the Lyons -- an African American family in the music business." Further, Marshall found the common plot elements of "pursuing dreams of music careers" and "[t]he concept of a bad person spending time in prison" are unprotectable and there is "virtually no overlap in dialogue." Other things Marshall finds unprotectable: the fact that the sons the works wear sunglasses and gold chains, similarity in age between the male leads, that some of the sons sing. "Plaintiff has demonstrated, at most, random similarities between the works which does not constitute substantial similarity," Marshall writes. Marshall also dismissed Newt's breach of implied-in-fact contract claim without prejudice. As it is a state law claim, if Newt takes another shot at that complaint it would be in L.A. County Superior Court. Coate has not yet responded to a request for comment. (Billboard)

Skrillex and Valentino Khan Dribble Booties and Drop Bass on 'Slam Dunk'. Hot on the heels of "Purple Lamborghini," Skrillex is back with another collab, this time with OWSLA homie Valentino Khan. "Slam Dunk" is a follow-up to Khan's hit "Deep Down Low" and quite possibly his attempt at a dubstep jock jam. The vocal is very Miami circa 1992, but the drop is 100 percent face-crunch madness. It's like Uncle Luke and the 2LiveCrew walked through a time warp to the "brostep" hay of 2010. If this song were an actual slam dunk, we'd expect some broken glass. (Billboard)

Justin Bieber got a $5 million offer to perform at a Republican event during the GOP Convention, but turned it down after his manager considered quitting and LeBron James urged him to reject it ... sources tell TMZ. Sources connected with CAA -- the talent agency which reps Bieber and received the offer -- tell us a promoter contacted Justin's people with the offer, saying he would perform for 45 minutes at a venue near Quicken Loans Arena, where the RNC was held. We're told the promoter assured Justin's people the event was "not political" and Justin would not be endorsing Trump or any GOP policies. According to the contract, the $5 million was bankrolled by GOP donors. The money was to be paid "up front" -- before Justin even arrived. The donors would also cover production expenses. It represented the biggest single payday ever for Justin. Or, for that matter, just about any other singer, and he seriously considered doing it ... partly because he's Canadian and didn't have a dog in the fight and partly because of the money. Manager Scooter Braun, a big Hillary Clinton supporter who even held a fundraiser for her at his L.A. home, had big problems with the offer ... as did CAA. Scooter and CAA felt, regardless of the representations, this was "100 percent political." We're told Scooter wasn't heavy-handed at first, and talked to Justin about putting Black Lives Matter banners up in the venue. We're told Braun was told he could not display BLM banners, but the donors would accept banners that read "All Lives Matter." The donors also made it clear ... Justin could say nothing disparaging about Trump or the GOP. We're told Scooter told Justin it was up to him if he wanted to do the show, but he said he couldn't continue to represent the singer if he did, out of principle. Scooter felt the GOP was using Bieber as its tool. Our sources say the promoter told Scooter ... LeBron James himself was also going to attend an event in Cleveland, welcoming the GOP without taking a political stand. The sources tell us Justin's people got in touch with LeBron's people, and they were told LeBron would actually not be in Cleveland for the convention and urged Justin not to go as well. On top of all that, we're told Justin's band, comprised entirely of African-Americans, did not want to do the show. In the end, Justin turned the offer down. (TMZ)

Fresh Off the Boat's Constance Wu Slams Matt Damon's Latest Role in "Racist" Film, The Great Wall. Constance Wu is fighting back against Hollywood's diversity issue. In response to The Great Wall, an upcoming Matt Damon-starring film that follows the actor as a warrior traversing the historic Chinese fortification, the Fresh Off the Boat actress penned an emotional statement on Twitter regarding her discontent over character stereotypes. "We have to stop perpetuating the racist myth that a only white man can save the world," Wu wrote, adding, "It's not based on actual fact. Our heroes don't look like Matt Damon. They look like Malala. Ghandi. Mandela. Your big sister when she stood up for you to those bullies that one time." The 33-year-old goes on to point fingers not at the financial institutions funding the film, but rather a deep-rooted problem pining those of different races against each other. "Money is the lamest excuse in the history of being human. So is blaming the Chinese investors," she continued. "Remember it's not about blaming individuals... it's about pointing out the repeatedly implied racist notion that white people are superior to POC and that POC need salvation from our own color via white strength." Constance added, "We don't need salvation. We like our color and our culture and our own strengths and our own stories ... we don't need you to save us from anything." In the aftermath of her lengthy criticism, Wu followed up with a clarification, nothing that she only hoped to bring "awareness" to Damon's casting. "Not blaming Damon, the studio, the Chinese financiers. It's not about blame, It's about AWARENESS," Constance wrote. (Eonline)

Meryl Streep in Talks to Join Star-Studded Cast of Mary Poppins Returns. Yet another famous face has been added to the already star-studded cast of the highly anticipated sequel of Mary Poppins. Meryl Streep is said to be in talks to join Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda for Mary Poppins Returns, E! News has learned. Variety was the first to report the casting news. Should the Oscar-winning actress officially sign onto the project, it would mark her return to working with Into the Woods' Rob Marshall, Marc Platt, and of course, her co-star Blunt. But that's not all, let's not forget about the fun fact that the two actresses also worked together in The Devil Wears Prada. So what role is Streep currently in discussions for? According to Variety, she's in talks to play the role of Poppins' cousin, Topsy. The character would require Streep to sing, similarly to her role in Into the Woods, which doesn't seem to be a challenge that the star shies away from. Mary Poppins Returns will play in movie theaters on Christmas Day in 2018 (yes, you read that correctly!), so we'll have to sit back and wait and see if Streep does in fact officially join what is sure to be a fun-filled family flick! Nick Jonas Wants to Rewrite Your Childhood By Possibly Starring in Jumanji Remake. Jumanji fanatics were livid over news of the film's remake, but maybe this recent casting revelation will change those opinions. Sources confirm to E! News that Nick Jonas is currently in talks to star in the updated imagination of the 1995 classic that featured Robin Williams in the titular role. The "Close" singer will play the role of Alex if cast, the insider adds. Back in August 2015, Sony Pictures released titles and premiere dates for their forthcoming films, one of which included the Jumanji reboot. Originally slated for a Christmas 2016 release, the thriller will now make a July 28, 2017 landing. Filming will begin this fall in Honolulu, Hawaii, according to the source. Johnson has updated fans on the reboot's progress via his Instagram page, and in May spoke candidly on the importance of preserving Williams' legacy. "An important thing that I want to be honest and bring up is Robin Williams. The love and respect I have for this man is boundless," he wrote in his post. "You have my word, we will honor his name and the character of 'Alan Parrish' will stand alone and be forever immortalized in the world of JUMANJI in an earnest and cool way." He continued, "I have an idea of what to do and I think his family will be proud. I also think Robin is somewhere lookin' down and laughing, remembering the first time we met backstage and I (for the first time ever) was a star struck bumbling idiot that couldn't even get my words out. Idiot. He literally calmed me down w/ that smile and laugh. But that's for another fun story down the road." Jake Kasdan is set to direct the film while Matt Tolmach is on production duties. Deadline was the first to report the casting news. (Eonline)

Tom Hiddleston is in LA with Taylor Swift, and the talk is that he could be meeting with James Bond producers about the iconic role. Hiddleston is said to be in the running to play the next Bond, along with actors including Jack Huston, Tom Hardy and Idris Elba, who this week claimed he is too old to play 007. Huston -- who stars in "Ben-Hur," out on Aug. 19 -- has previously worked with Bond producer Barbara Broccoli on a London play. The British actor, whose aunt is Anjelica Huston, starred in "Strangers on a Train" at the Gielgud Theatre in late 2013, which was co-produced by Broccoli. A Hollywood source tells us that Bond producers and MGM are not in an urgent rush to cast the new Bond because the distribution rights for the franchise are up for sale following the end of a multimovie pact with Sony Pictures. The source says, "No casting for the next James Bond movie will be decided on until the deal for the distribution rights has been done." Meanwhile, there are still bad feelings between Bond bosses and the most recent star Daniel Craig, who famously said he "would rather break this glass and slit my wrists" than play 007 again. Another source added, "Producers think that ungracious comment, right before the release of 'Spectre,' cost them tens of millions at the box office. They're ready to forget about Daniel." (Page Six)

Jennifer Aniston's husbands are set for an awkward showdown -- both her ex Brad Pitt and current hubby, Justin Theroux, have movies coming out on Oct.?7. The Pitt-narrated IMAX film "Voyage of Time" will go head-to-head with Theroux's thriller, "The Girl on the Train." May the best Aniston man win. It's going to be a tough box-office battle to predict: Although Pitt's the sixth-most-bankable man in Hollywood, his flick is a doc about the history of time, while Theroux's is one of the most anticipated films of the year. James Franco to Receive Deauville Honor. The multi-hyphenate will bring 'In Dubious Battle' just days after its premiere in Venice. James Franco will be honored with a career tribute at the Deauville festival where his second directorial effort In Dubious Battle will be screened. His John Steinbeck adaptation will premiere just days before in Venice on Aug. 31. Franco joins Michael Moore in being honored by the French festival with a career tribute and a screening. "Although James Franco achieved world fame as an actor by playing Harry Osborn in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, he has never stopped exploring new horizons. More than an actor or a director, James Franco is now an accomplished and a complete artist," said festival organizers in a statement. Brad Furman's The Infiltrator, starring Diane Kruger and Bryan Cranston will open the festival with Todd Phillips' War Dogs, starring Bradley Cooper and Jonah Hill, the closing film, with cast and crew expected to attend. As previously announced, the president of the Deauville jury will be former minister of culture Frederic Mitterand, who also is a TV and film producer and director. The festival's lineup is expected to be announced Aug. 23. The Deauville Film Festival runs from Sept. 2-11. (Hollywood Reporter)

Pierce Brosnan Thriller 'I.T.' Goes To RLJ Entertainment. The film, directed by John Moore, will be released in September. RLJ Entertainment has acquired North American rights to John Moore's thriller I.T., starring Pierce Brosnan. The distributor plans to release the film in theaters and on VOD in September. In the feature, directed by Moore and written by Dan Kay and William Wisher, Jr., Brosnan plays a successful self-made man caught up in a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game with his information technology consultant, played by James Frecheville. The cast also includes Anna Friel and Stefanie Scott. I.T. is produced by David T. Friendly, Beau St. Clair, Nicolas Chartier and Craig J. Flores, and is executive produced by Brosnan, Dominic Rustam, Frank Hildebrand, Elika Portnoy and Valentina Gardani. "We're excited to work with the very talented Pierce Brosnan," RLJE chief acquisition officer Mark Ward said Thursday in announcing the acquisition. "With Brosnan's mass appeal and a well-written script with exciting twists and turns, the film will prove to be an audience favorite." Ward negotiated the deal with Voltage, which repped the filmmakers. (Hollywood Reporter)

Game of Thrones Is Definitely Ending After Season 8...But What About a Spin-Off? The bad news just keeps coming for us, fellow Game of Thrones fans, and this is the worst of all: season eight will officially be the last season. HBO president Casey Bloys confirmed Saturday during HBO's summer press tour that there are only two more seasons left of everybody's favorite show. Combine this with the fact that season seven will be shorter than normal, and it will be delayed, and won't be eligible for the 2017 Emmys, and we might as well all just go into hibernation for the next year. When asked if there was any chance of more than eight seasons, Bloys crushed our dreams. "They have a very specific plan about the number of seasons they want to do," Bloys said. "If I could get them to do more I would take 10 more seasons. But we take their lead on what they [need] to make the best version of their show." As for the specific number of episodes, season seven is "locked in" at seven. However, season eight may have more or less. "They know we'll take as many as they'll give us," Bloys said. As for that dream of a spin-off, which would potentially tell the story of the Mad King, it doesn't sound like it's happening...yet. "We've talked about it, it's not something I'm not opposed to, but of course it has to make sense creatively," Bloys said. "I'm not sure that the guys could really wrap their heads around it when they're just about to start production. It's a pretty intense production, they're about to start production soon. But I'm open to it. The guys weren't opposed to it, but there's no concrete plans or anything like that at this point." As for the Emmy race, Bloys isn't all that concerned, despite the fact that the seven kingdoms walked away with 23 nominations this year. "It's always good to win more Emmys," Bloys said. "That said, that's not our main goal. The main goal is to do the best show possible for our subscribers and fans, so we take David [Benioff] and Dan's [Weiss] lead on what they think they need to do to make the best show, and obviously shooting in a cold climate is what they need." And besides, it's not like HBO, which received 94 nominations this year alone, really needs Game of Thrones anyway. "I will point out that even if you took Game of Thrones' Emmys away this year, we'd still have more than anybody else." So there, we guess. (Eonline)

Milo Ventimiglia Brings Jess Full Circle With Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Whoever says you can't go home again certainly hasn't been following the news of the Gilmore Girls revival, Netflix's Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Nearly 10 years after the show signed off following its seven season run, the fine folks of Stars Hollow are coming back to life for a four-part series, each part taking place during a season of the year. Essentially the entire original cast came back in some capacity. For Milo Ventimiglia, there was no need to ask twice. "I stayed very, very close to Dan [Palladino] and Amy [Sherman-Palladino]. They're family to me. When they actually called and said, 'Hey Mi, we're going to do this,' I said, 'Great, I don't care where I am, I could be in Tunisia, feeding f -- king seals. I will show up.' And then of course it'd be a conversation, they don't have seals in Tunisia, I'm like, I know it doesn't matter," he joked with E! News at a recent reception for his new series This Is Us. Ventimiglia played bad boy Jess Mariano over 37 episodes over the show's original seasons two-six, this is the first time returning to the character since 2006. "It's interesting stepping away from a character and then going back to them. There's something about Jess that I always appreciated. It was at the very end that I thought for whatever angst, whatever broken spirit, whatever sly behavior he had, who he was at his core was a very, very good guy. I think that started to emerge as time went on. We got to the end of his existence on the show, you see him -- he's not there for himself, to entertain himself, he's there to ask Rory real questions to get her thinking. I always respected that about the character," Ventimiglia said. "He grew up and he turned into a really decent guy. In terms of what are the lessons he went through, I think he had to have life lived. I think he had to experience heartbreak, he had to experience happiness, he had to experience all these things that we all come across in life, but we can only measure the scale of them when we have time. You're different from when you're 25 to when you're 35. You're different at 21 to 25. Everything changes. You can't unwatch things, you can't unhear things, you can't untaste foods or moments. I think who Jess turned out to be was just -- he got to experience life and I think he became a really cool young guy." Excitement surrounding the return of the Gilmores and the other Stars Hollow residents has reached a fever pitch. Buzz started after the cast reunited for the show's 15th anniversary and has been growing ever since. "The fact that I think people were buzzing about it was a testament to the writing. Dan and Amy are such incredible writers and they really did create this show that is timeless. It's timeless," he told us. "The excitement to bring it back doesn't surprise me. I think audience were left wanting more, they weren't quite satisfied with the end. To sort of bring it back it didn't feel like a cheap play for money. It actually legitimately genuinely felt like a love letter to fans who were wanting more stories and to live with these characters again. For that, I applaud Dan and Amy and the cast that came back, Warner Bros. for doing it and Netflix for putting it up." However, returning to the character was not something Ventimiglia said he needed. "I mean, for me, I'm perfectly happy when a show ends. It ends, that's what it was. You can step away from it, walk away clean," he said. "Sometimes when they come back around you're like, 'Why'd you do that?'" Does he feel that way about Gilmore Girls? "Not at all," he said. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premieres Friday, Nov. 25 on Netflix. This Is Us premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)

Girl Meets World is staging the ultimate Boy Meets World reunion for the season three finale and bringing back just about everybody, including both actresses who played Morgan Matthews, Cory's (Ben Savage) younger sister. Megan Fox Is Heading Back to New Girl, But You're Gonna Have to Wait a While. Regan is returning! E! News has confirmed that Megan Fox has signed on for a major recurring arc on New Girl -- but there's a catch. The actress, who will reprise her role as pharmaceutical rep Reagan in the upcoming sixth season of the Fox sitcom, won't rejoin the series until midseason as she is currently expecting her third child with husband Brian Austin Green. Fox joined the show in the middle of its fifth season when star Zooey Deschanel was on maternity leave. Her character, Reagan, sublet a room in the loft and struck up a flirtation with Jake Johnson's Nick. Their semi-relationship culminated in the fifth season finale when the bartender followed his new love to New Orleans for a few months to see where their relationship would go. According to TVLine, which originally reported the news, Fox could return for as many as eight episodes. Fox and Green have two sons together, Noah and Bodhi. She revealed her third pregnancy in April during a trip to CinemaCon to promote Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. "The pregnancy is really good. I'm happy and healthy," she told E! News' Marc Malkin while promoting the film, which hit theaters in June. At the time, she revealed that she was "so far past" her first trimester. "There are no more cravings," she said. E! News first reported Fox's third pregnancy after the star appeared at CinemaCon on April 11 with a visible baby bump. She followed up the news with an Instagram featuring photos of costars Will Arnett, Shia LaBeouf and Johnson with the tongue-in-cheek caption "#NotTheFather." New Girl season six premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 8:30 p.m. on Fox. (Eonline)

The moment we've been waiting for is finally here. As you all may know, MTV is launching the much anticipated anniversary special of the hit reality TV show which premiered ten years ago (yes, it's really been TEN YEARS!) and we've finally been given a sneak peek. Featuring none other than the queen of the show herself, Lauren Conrad, as well as co-stars such as Heidi Montag, Brody Jenner and Spencer and Stephanie Pratt, The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now is a behind the scenes tell all of the much loved MTV creation as the stars tell us what life is like for them now, before revealing all their never talked about moments from The Hills. "So often we would say if you knew the real story, you would understand," says Lauren in the teaser, "And what I'd like to do is tell that story." And if that promise wasn't exciting enough, the teaser also shows the 30 year-old recreating her iconic intro to the show as she drives through Los Angeles with those famous dark sunglasses on, to - you guessed it- Natasha Bedingfield's Unwritten of course. However, the classic theme song is soon switched up to something more current as we kiss goodbye to the then and are introduced to Lauren's now. "Everyone talks about the soundtrack to their lives. Ten years ago, this was the soundtrack to my life," she says before changing the tune, "That was then, this is now." All we can say is, we're SO ready for this! The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now will air on 2 August at 9pm. (British Glamour)
