Maintenance work on I-10 in Tucson

Westbound Interstate 10 will be narrowed to one lane, east of Tucson, approximately one mile west of Vail Road (exit 278) on Tuesday (Aug. 16) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to allow Arizona Department of Transportation crews to conduct maintenance work.

Message boards will guide drivers through the work zone.

ADOT advises drivers to plan ahead to avoid the closure or allow extra travel time if traveling during the scheduled closure period.
