Kingman drivers: Plan for delays at Interstate 40 and the US Beale Street traffic interchange next week
The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduled to complete work at the westbound Interstate 40 and US 93 Beale Street traffic interchange Tuesday, Dec. 20. This work caps off a $314,000 improvement project in downtown Kingman.
Motorists should expect delays of up to 30 minutes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the interchange on Tuesday while crews replace a traffic signal cabinet and configure the signal timing.
To avoid delays, consider alternate routes.
A flagging operation will be in effect and law enforcement will assist with traffic control. Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
