Maintenance work scheduled on southbound I-19 on Tuesday, Dec. 6

A travel restriction will be in effect on southbound Interstate 19 in Sahuarita on Tuesday, Dec. 6, while the Arizona Department of Transportation conducts maintenance work near El Toro Road.

Southbound I-19 will be narrowed to one lane from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. No ramps will be affected by the restriction.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions and closures, but it’s possible that unscheduled impacts might occur because of weather or other factors.
