Overnight closure scheduled at Craycroft Road underneath Interstate 10
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following restrictions as construction continues at the Interstate 10 and Craycroft Road traffic interchange:
Craycroft Road will be closed in both directions underneath I-10 from 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, for bridge work.
Drivers can use Wilmot Road or Valencia Road as an alternate route.
All ramps will remain open.
Westbound I-10 traffic is using a median detour with 40-ton and 22-foot width restrictions through October 2017, and the speed limit is reduced to 55 mph.
Two lanes are open at all times on the temporary bridge route; however, there are no shoulders in this location.
Eastbound traffic is not affected.
