THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Another Japanese Princess Is Giving Up Her Royal Title to Marry a Commoner. Princess Ayako is giving up her royal title for love. According to The Japan Times, the 27-year-old princess is engaged to Kei Moriya, a 32-year-old worker at the shipping firm NYK Line. The two are set to tie the knot at the Meiji Jingu Shrine in Shibuya Ward in Tokyo on Oct. 29. Because Moriya is a commoner, the princess will lose her royal status after they marry. During a press conference on Monday, Princess Ayako recalled meeting her future husband in December of last year. According to The Japan Times, she said their conversation had become "so lively that it didn't feel like we had just met and that I had so much fun that I forgot about time." The two were then reunited at an event honoring the 20th anniversary of the nonprofit Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi. Per the publication, Moriya's late mother was a friend of Princess Ayako's mother, Princess Hisako, and served as an executive board member for the organization. "As I met him many times, I became attracted to his kind, smart and decisive nature," Princess Ayako said, per The Japan Times. "I don't know what my mother's intentions were in introducing him to me, but as the two of us went to various places together and shared our time and memories, we became naturally drawn to each other. I think we were able to come this far thanks to the wonderful ties started by our mothers." As for the proposal, Princess Ayako said her groom popped the question earlier this year over dinner at a restaurant. "It was very sudden, so I asked to hold for my answer," she said, per CNN. "As we have deepened the relationship including our family, friends and related people, I came to the decision and accepted this proposal." According to The Japan Times, the two will officially mark their engagement on Aug. 12 during a traditional court ceremony. Princess Ayako isn't the first royal of Japan to give up her royal title for love. Princess Mako is also engaged to law firm employee Kei Komuro. However, the two have postponed their nuptials. According to CNN, the wedding will be held off until at least 2020. (Eonline)

Kim Kardashian Reveals Why She's Going to Kylie Jenner for Mommy Advice. Paging Kylie Jenner! Kim Kardashian has some questions for you. Although she's already the proud parent to three kids with Kanye West, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is always open to learning more about mom life. And with several sisters having children of their own, there are many people to ask for guidance. But who does Kim go to most for mommy advice? "Lately, it's been Kylie. Kylie is up on all the new gadgets and the new baby stuff," Kim explained to E! News' Sibley Scoles at her KKW Beauty Pop-Up at Westfield Century City. "But Khloe and I probably have the most similar parenting style and I will usually go to one of my best friends Larsa Pippen because she has four kids for mom advice." Ultimately, Kim finds herself closer than ever with all of her sisters especially after Kylie and Khloe Kardashian became parents. And while more babies may mean more craziness, it's proven to be a bonding moment with many family members. "I think we're even closer now because Kourtney and I, even if we don't disagree on some parenting tips, we'll discuss them thoroughly and we respect each other's rules, but we pick up the slack for each other too," she shared. "I know that if Kourtney's out of town, then the kids will sleep at my house and we'll plan these fun things where the kids always feel loved. We're always helping each other out." Kim added, "I definitely feel like we are more connected now especially that Khloe's back and we're hanging out with all the babies. All the kids want to hang out. It's just a whole different experience now. It's so much fun." Through all the family time, Kim has also had the chance to open a special pop-up at the mall she frequented as a kid. Open now through July 27, guests can purchase some of Kim's best-selling products including her items with Mario Dedivanovic. In just one week, Kim has stopped by to visit three times and you never know when she'll show up next. After all, she may need to pick up some items for her daughter North West who has a habit of playing with mom's makeup. "She always wants makeup. She names her looks," Kim shared. "She loves to do makeup. Anytime someone will just sit there, she'll do a full look on you." (Eonline)

Blac Chyna is dating another teenager -- pro boxer Devin Haney -- and has been banging him for a good while now ... which might be a surprise to YBN Almighty Jay. Sources close to the 19-year-old athlete tell us he first hooked up with Chyna 2 to 3 months ago, hitting her up on IG after learning they had the same lawyer. We're told Chyna was into him ... and started seeing him regularly soon after. Chyna isn't dating Devin for any type of "clout" -- as many have speculated online after she tagged him in a photo and said "Hi babe" on IG. On the contrary, we're told BC simply likes the dude. He's successful, mature for his age ... and ain't bad looking either. As for the messy timeline on how long Chyna's been with Devin, it's clear she was seeing him while dating her ex, Jay, while he himself was pursuing different women ... and allegedly knocking up at least one while linked to BC. The pair officially broke up last month. All's fair in love and DM slidin'. (TMZ)

A milestone worth commemorating! Luann de Lesseps looked happy and healthy while celebrating six months of sobriety alongside her ex-husband Count Alexandre de Lesseps and their children, Noel and Victoria. "Greatest reunion ever! Wonderful to spend the weekend with the kids and The Count," the Real Housewives of New York star, 53, captioned a photo of herself and the aristocrat, 69, soaking up the sun in Sag Harbor, New York, on Monday, July 2. "Also counting my blessings! Celebrating 6 months of sobriety! Happy 4th of July, everyone! @noeldelesseps @victoriadelesseps #onedayatatime #lovemyfamily #grateful #rhony #countess." The sweet get-together comes more than two months after de Lesseps accepted a plea deal following her December 2017 arrest for disorderly intoxication. After the incident, the "Money Can't Buy You Class" songstress voluntarily checked herself into an alcohol treatment center. De Lesseps, who divorced the count in 2009 after 16 years of marriage and was later married to Tom D'Agostino Jr. from 2016 to 2017, has been open up about the experience through her #CountessandFriends cabaret show, which features her iconic songs as well as most memorable stories. "It's been my saving grace. It really has. I'm grateful for it," she exclusively told Us Weekly in May. "I've sunk my teeth into it, and really, creatively, gotten into it. I talk about what happened to me in the show. There's a lot of comedy in the show. There's a lot of self-deprecation because, look, I hit a wall. I'm not ashamed to say it. And I talk about that in the show. I talk about a lot of things. It's like a window into my life and a window into music that I love." The Bravo personality will grace the stage at the Paramount in Long Island, New York, on August 4 and is set to appear at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on August 24 before making her way back to New York City in September. Kim Kardashian reveals Chicago's middle name - and the sweet reason behind it. Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child, Chicago, on January 15 2018 via surrogate and she's become a regular fixture on our social media feeds ever since. And while the Kardashians are famed for choosing *unusual* monikers, Kim has never revealed the middle name she gave her third child - until now. In an adorable post on her Instagram page, she confirmed that Chicago's middle name is Noel. Kim's birth name is Kimberly Noel Kardashian, but she had her name legally changed when she married Kanye. The addition wasn't on Chi's birth certificate, so it may have been a recent choice. North and Saint don't have middle names, but there's nothing wrong with switching it up, right Kimmy? It wasn't long ago that we learned the other name choice she had in mind - she very nearly chose a somewhat traditional name. Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres show, the 37-year-old explained that Chicago's name 'kind of messes' with her - because it isn't one syllable like daughter, North, and son, Saint. She then went on to reveal that she and Kanye very nearly named Chicago after Kim's grandmother, Mary-Jo Shannon. Say what?! Explaining further, Kim revealed: 'We were gonna name her Jo because my grandma Mary Jo or we were gonna go with Grace and then it was Chicago.' Kim also gave a little insight into why the couple plumped for the name Chicago, with Kim adding: "I don't even know...obviously because he's from Chicago but that is a place that made him." It seems like just yesterday that little Chi came into the world. Announcing the news on her website at the time, Kim exclaimed: "SHE'S HERE!" "Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," she wrote. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care." "North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister." A little more about the woman who carried Kim's child was revealed after she was introduced to the family on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. On the season 14 finale, La'Reina Haynes made her on-screen debut two months after giving birth to Kim and Kanye's third child. While her face wasn't shown on screen, she did speak to the family about how special it was - and she's giving us all the feels. Kris thanked La'Reina for the gesture, to which she responded: "Thank you. I'm so proud of doing it in general.

Jerome Bettis has a message for Le'Veon Bell and the Pittsburgh Steelers -- "Neither one of you are as good by yourself as you are together." Translation ... stop messing around and get a long-term deal done already. Bell has been beefing with the Steelers for years -- demanding (and failing to get) a long-term contract. Instead, the team hit him with the franchise tag for the past 2 seasons. Bell has threatened to hold out and even retire if the two sides don't get a long-term deal done -- and Bettis says it's in the best interest of BOTH sides to make something work. "Le'Veon, you're not going to be as good going somewhere else because they're not going to have the offensive line, they're not going to have the quarterback, the receivers that they have in Pittsburgh." "You have a full complement around you that allows you to be as great as you want to be." As for the Steelers, Bettis says there's little risk in signing Bell to a long-term deal because he'll be able to produce at a high level for at least 5 more years. By the way ... Bettis is competing in a golf tournament next week that features a Korbel champagne celebrity cork-shooting contest -- and you gotta hear why he thinks Steph Curry shouldn't be the favorite!! (TMZ)
