2018 Kennedy Center Honorees Include Cher, Reba McEntire and Hamilton. Raise a glass to freedom, and to Hamilton and to Cher and to Reba McEntire. It was announced on Wednesday that the pop star, the country singer and the hit Broadway musical's co-creators Lin-Manuel Miranda -- its original star, Thomas Kail, Andy Blankenbuehler and Alex Lacamoire are among the recipients of the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors, which recognizes artists for their lifetime contributions to culture and the arts. The Hamilton co-creators' shared honor is a special award that is the first of its kind, as Kennedy Center Honors have traditionally gone to individuals. Other honorees include composer Philip Glass and saxophonist Wayne Shorter. They will be honored at the Kennedy Center's 41st annual national celebration of the arts on December 2 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where a production of Hamilton is actually currently being staged until September. "When I was very young, I saw Dumbo and Cinderella and knew then what I wanted to be and the path my life would take and here I am! I am very grateful to the Kennedy Center," Cher said in a statement released by the Kennedy Center, according to the New York Times. "I am so honored to be one of this year's #KCHonors recipients along with @cher, Philip Glass, @WayneShorter and an Honors distinction for @HamiltonMusical & its co-creators. Can't wait to see you all in DC!" McEntire tweeted. "The Cabinet is headed to DC. Honored honored honored. It is unclear if President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will attend the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors event. Last year, honorees Lionel Richie, Norman Lear, and dancer Carmen de Lavallade said they would boycott the traditional White House reception before the show. The Trumps withdrew from attending the Kennedy Center Honors "to allow the honorees to celebrate without any political distraction" and the White House canceled its reception. Miranda, Cher and Glass have publicly criticized the president. "Whether he's there or not, who cares?" Glass told the New York Times. "The show will go on." (Eonline)

Katharine McPhee Dedicates Broadway Return to Her Late Father. The show must go on. Katharine McPhee did just that Tuesday night when she returned to the stage for her current Broadway run in Waitress, less than two weeks after her father Daniel McPhee passed away. While it's been a devastating time for the triple threat, McPhee dedicated the show to her new angel. "Dad, this one's for you," she wrote along with a selfie in her dressing room before the performance. "Here we go @WaitressMusical #GiveEmHellKid." Last week, McPhee revealed that was her father's choice phrase of encouragement when she delivered the tragic news that he had died. "He was my biggest fan, my biggest champion, always telling me to 'Give em hell kid!'" she wrote on social media. "He was so kind and caring and made sure we knew how much he loved us. Not sure my heart will ever be the same." It was also her wish that he would be able to watch her performance from his new home. "I'm so sad he missed my broadway debut. But when I return to the stage next week I hope he can watch it in peace and from up above," she continued at the time. While he did not get to see her debut on the Great White Way, she was able to share just as sweet personal news with him before he passed -- her engagement to star music producer David Foster. "My dad was so happy for me. My ring was the last thing I showed my dad before he passed and makes me smile when I look at this as a reminder of our last conversation," she explained in an Instagram post as she debuted her sparkler publicly. McPhee will call Broadway home for the next four weeks -- and we bet her dad will be watching every single night. (Eonline)

Karlie Kloss May Have Just Revealed Princess Beatrice's Secret Instagram Account. Can Karlie Kloss keep a secret? Maybe not when she's celebrating her engagement. Soon after announcing on social media that Joshua Kushner popped the special question, the supermodel took to Instagram Stories and expressed gratitude for all the love she was receiving. "My phone is blowing up with the sweetest messages from loved ones," she wrote while in Beijing. "This poor makeup artist is gonna kill me." Karlie later revealed some of her closest friends she had to FaceTime to share the special news with. In addition to close family members like her sister and grandma, the Victoria's Secret Angel took time to chat with Serena Williams and her "best friend since the first day of kindergarten." There also was a friendly chat with Princess Beatrice that may have led to a big revelation. While sharing a screengrab from the conversation, Karlie just so happened to tag her handle @BeaYork. We hate to break the bad news, but the account is private. In fact, the account that many believe is Princess Beatrice's secret profile, only has 651 followers. Although the account has been kept on the down-low, Princess Beatrice of York's profile certainly isn't breaking any rules. Royals with formal working roles are not allowed to have their own social media accounts. Those who have jobs outside the family, however, are more than welcome to create one. Princess Beatrice and Karlie's friendship has been going strong for several years now. Towards the end of last summer, the pair traveled to France to celebrate the marriage of art collector and dealer Alberto "Tico" Mugrabi and Colby Jordan. Earlier in the summer, the duo also shared a box with Ivanka Trump at the US Open Tennis Championships. Safe to say this royal family member will have a spot at Karlie's upcoming wedding. (Eonline)

The Unique Home Features Stars Can't Live Without, From Kris Jenner's Black Toilet Paper to Drake's Mechanical Bull. So, Drake is absurdly proud of his pool. That much became clear when he made the somewhat odd choice to pay tribute to it in verse, rapping in his 2016 track, "Summer Sixteen," that "Now I got a bigger pool than Ye / And look man, Ye's pool is nice, mine is just bigger is what I'm saying." To be fair, his three-acre Hidden Hill, Calif. compound -- appropriately named The YOLO Estate -- boasts an enormous swimming hole complete with man-made grotto, water slide, wet bar and flatscreen TVs that is larger than the one at the mansion Kanye West shares with wife Kim Kardashian. Really, it's bigger than most any pool you can imagine thanks to some diligent research on the part of the "Hotline Bling" rapper. Having "the biggest residential pool on the planet" has long been a goal of his, he told Rolling Stone in 2014, so years before the Canadian earned himself a record deal, he typed that phrase into an Internet search. It turned up an estate from Saddle Ranch owner Larry Pollack that Drake kept as the desktop image on his computer for years, finally making a move when the sizable spread went on the market in 2009. Described by Rolling Stone as "part dude ranch, part gentleman's manor, part Medieval Times", the 12,500-square-foot pad is all wooden beams, vaulted fireplaces, cavelike walls with a dash of whimsy thanks to a stone elk, stone giraffe, 25-seat movie theater and a mechanical bull. Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore. Or Michigan. Or Pennsylvania. Or really any neighborhood where a non-millionaire can afford to buy. Because when price is no object (Drake's pad was listed for $27 million, but he paid less than a third of that, bragging, "I stole it from him!"), there's no stopping stars from going completely over-the-top when it comes to their real estate. (I mean, if Dale Earnhardt Jr. was your pal, would you tell him he didn't need to create a working Old West town, complete with saloon, a sheriff's office and working jail?) In a world where tennis courts, pizza ovens and movie theaters come standard -- and no one really bats an eye at Alex Rodriguez's indoor basketball court or the bocce balls setup Anna Faris had at the home she lived in with Chris Pratt -- celebrities have to get creative to truly stand out. We're looking at you and your black toilet paper, Kris Jenner! Behold, the lifestyles of the rich, famous and just a wee bit eccentric. Generally, the term champagne room conjures some not-so-safe-for-work images. But at Heather Dubrow's SoCal home (ahem, Dubrow Chateau), it's simply the spot where The Real Housewives of Orange County alum stashes her beloved Veuve Clicquot. Should she fancy a flute, she need simply ring the secret doorbell found deep in her master closet. "I have this three-way mirror. It's hidden, so when you pull the mirror forward, it's framed and it's black and white and has my initials on it, and it says, 'Press for champagne,'" she explained to Bravo's The Daily Dish. "And it rings in the kitchen." Though, as her husband Terry Dubrow pointed out, there are some kinks to work through. "Terry goes, 'Who's bringing you the champagne?'" she admitted. "I'm like 'You? I don't know.'" If there's a downside to tricking your home out with unique features, 50 Cent discovered it when he tried to unload his Connecticut estate. After snapping up the 21-bedroom, 25-bathroom place from boxer Mike Tyson in 2003 for $4.1 million, he shelled out millions more to spruce up the nine kitchens, private casino and disco room -- complete with several stripper poles so every night he and his pals could feel like they were "In Da Club." Sadly, even with the addition of a helicopter pad, he couldn't get buyers to bite at the $18 million asking price in 2007. He finally accepted an $8 million offer from a nursing home management company nine years later. Outfitted with everything necessary to support his love of flying, John Travolta's Ocala, Fla. pad isn't likely to be listed anytime soon. A Gulfstream II jet is parked in one of the Qantas ambassador's two plane pavilions and his personal Qantas Boeing 707 sits in the yard. "It was always John's dream to have planes in his front yard -- to practically be able to pull up to the house -- so that when you wanted to go to dinner, all you'd have to do was step out the door, get on the plane and whisk off," wife Kelly Preston explained in a 2015 interview with Australia's Today (excerpted by Architecture and Design). And with the addition of a runway that extends right up to their front door and a control center, the midcentury-style spot simply works for the flight happy pair. "We designed the house for the jets and to have at our access the world at a moment's notice, and we succeeded at that," noted Travolta. "For the last 11 years, we've been able to globe-trot for Qantas and movies...I've been really able to operate out of this house for business and personal reasons." The business half of the equation was most key for Tiger Woods when designing his 12-acre home in Jupiter Island, Fla. Valued somewhere between $60 and $80 million (though if you have to quibble over the difference, it's probably too rich for your blood), the estate features a track and field area, two boat docks, a reflecting pond and a 5,700-square-foot fitness center. But the true standout is a four-green golf course designed, per the 11-time PGA Player of the Year's website, "to replicate tournament-like conditions, similar to those he faced around the world." The 150-acre Calabasas, Calif. compound Will Smith commissioned with wife Jada Pinkett Smith is also designed with career enhancement in mind. Along with a recording studio (where daughter Willow Smith belted out her 2010 hit "Whip My Hair"), a screening room and Jada's meditation room is Will's favorite feature: a gazebo that sits in the center of a man-made lake. There, the two-time Oscar nominee noted to Architectural Digest, "Answers come to me." Perhaps he'll mull on which feature he can add next? (Eonline)

Roseanne Barr to perform live podcast at NYC comedy club. Roseanne Barr will be in Manhattan on Thursday night at Stand Up NY to perform a live podcast with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. The celebrity rabbi has already interviewed Barr since she was fired from her ABC show after posting a racist tweet, and he's urged people to forgive her. "She's a stand-up comic at heart," venue owner Dani Zoldan told The Post of the event that's being dubbed "Barr'd." "I sympathize with her on that front. That's why I'm allowing this podcast. The liberal Upper West Side is not going to be OK with having her on their turf, but we're a comedy club .?.?. We don't censor our comics." We hear that security will be beefed up for the occasion with the venue bringing in two bodyguards, and Barr may also bring her own security. "There might be hecklers; if [there are,] they'll be thrown out. We don't want it to get out of hand," Zoldan said. The space has previously hosted controversial figures such as Ann Coulter, Gavin McInnes and Milo Yiannopoulos, as well as lefty filmmaker Michael Moore. "I don't personally agree with Roseanne's politics, but I do believe in freedom of speech," Zoldan said. Doors open at 7 p.m. (PageSix)

Katharine McPhee's engagement ring from David Foster worth over $100K. Katharine McPhee's giant emerald-cut engagement ring from fiance David Foster comes with an equally enormous price tag. The ring, which features a halo of diamonds around the large center stone and is set on a split-shank pave band, weighs in at approximately five carats, estimates Brilliant Earth's VP of strategy and merchandising Kathryn Money (who did not create McPhee's ring). Money approximates that the "Smash" star's sparkler cost between $100,000 and $150,000, depending on the quality and characteristics of the center stone. McPhee, 34, showed off her engagement ring on Instagram Saturday, and also took the opportunity to pay tribute to her father, who passed away last week. "My dad was so happy for me," she wrote. "My ring was the last thing I showed my dad before he passed and makes me smile when I look at this as a reminder of our last conversation." McPhee also referred to her engagement to 64-year-old Foster as her "sunshine amongst this painful loss." (PageSix)

Believe it or not, Jennifer Lopez is 49 and looking younger than ever. The "El Anillo" singer, whose birthday was on Tuesday, shared a photo from the festivities that showed off her incredibly toned abs in a sexy black string bikini. "Current birthday situation... yup," Lopez captioned the shot, which also features her holding a bottle of champagne in the air as she's joined by her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, 42, and her daughter Emme Maribel Muniz, 10, along with other relatives. People are coming for Kim Kardashian AGAIN about North's hair. Naturally, everyone had an opinion. Can you believe it's been five years since Twitter freaked out over the name North West? And just one month after being criticized for stepping out with straightened hair for her fifth birthday, fashionista-in-training, North, is at the center of some serious Kardashian controversy once again. On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram of her eldest daughter, who was cuddling up to Kanye, and giving her dad a kiss on the cheek. The photo was captioned "I can still feel the love," which is a reference to Kanye's new song. Pretty cute, right? Not for the trolls of the internet. Almost immediately, Kim came under fire because North's hair had been straightened, as opposed to leaving her hair in its natural curls. "I can feel the heat damage from here! Leave your kid's hair alone let her have the choice to damage it when she's older," one person wrote under the post, whilst someone else added: "That poor baby's curl pattern is gonna be all jacked up from the heat damage she's putting on her hair at a young age." Obviously, plenty of people ran to Kim's defense, noting how at five years old, North is already a total style icon. One commented, "Y'all are so annoying. Maybe NORTH wanted her hair that way!! She's very opinionated as we can all see. AND it's VERY easy to straighten hair without heat damage seeing as her mom has a TEAM OF Previously, North was seen stepping out the day before her fifth birthday with mum Kim to visit Dylan's Candy Bar in New York, North beamed in a hot pink Adidas windbreaker and matching shorts, white Yeezys, a unicorn bag and every 5-year-old's favorite accessory, a candy necklace. But fans were quick to notice that North's signature curls had been straightened. Her hair styled in a tight, sky-high-ponytail with a single braid down the center part, North looked as proud as punch with her birthday hairstyle, but not everyone is in love with this new look. As the photos circulated the internet, many argued that Kim Kardashian took her daughter's fashion-conscious look too far. Concerned about the message that Kim's decision to straighten North's hair sends out to her daughter, fans are worried that this could seriously affect North's self-esteem and even lead to long-term negative self-image issues. Until now Kim has always embraced North's natural hair, 'North is so proud of her curly hair', the reality TV superstar revealed in an episode of KUWTK. Kim has even enlisted the help of Kim Kimble, owner of West Hollywood salon Kimble Hair Studio, to give her a masterclass on how to style North's natural hair, then sharing photos of her gorgeous braids on Instagram. April the Giraffe Is Pregnant Again! If you missed tuning into a giraffe livestream, you're in luck because April the Giraffe officially has another little one on the way! The animal that had us hooked to our devices last spring as she gave birth to her fourth calf, son Tajiri, is adding another baby to the brood come next year. Animal Adventure Park owner Jordan Patch did the honor of announcing the adorable animal news on Today on Wednesday morning. "The results are in and we are having a baby!" he quipped. He also confirmed that April's male partner for the last pregnancy, Oliver, is the father once again. While Patch was hesitant to give a specific birth date to avoid adding more frenzy to the birth watch, he did say that they expect the calf to arrive sometime around March in the early spring of 2019. As for the sex of the new giraffe, he told the morning co-hosts that no one will know if it's a male or a female until he or she makes their big debut into the world -- and on our screens. Not to fret -- the "Giraffe Cam" is back up and running, so anyone can monitor the 17-year-old future mom of five in the remaining months of her pregnancy. If anyone was curious how exactly they determined if April was pregnant again, as Patch explained, it involved collecting samples of the animal's poop, freezing it and then sending it out for testing after 30 days. Meanwhile, little Tajiri is not so little anymore. The animal now stands at 10 feet tall. And soon, he'll have a baby brother or sister to look after! Just like that, the waiting game begins again.
