Eastbound Grant Road to close at Interstate 10 early Thursday, May 24

Motorists on eastbound Grant Road should expect a closure at Interstate 10 during the very early morning hoursof Thursday, May 24.

Crews will replace a traffic signal pole and mast arm at Grant Road and the westbound I-10 frontage road. Work is scheduled to occur from 12:01 to 5 a.m. Thursday.

The following traffic restrictions will be in place:

All traffic on eastbound Grant Road must take the eastbound frontage road toward Speedway Boulevard.
All traffic on the eastbound I-10 frontage road must turn right at Grant Road or proceed straight toward Speedway Boulevard. No through traffic will be allowed under I-10.

Traffic on I-10 and westbound Grant Road will not be affected.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
