  • If you ever wanted to feel like you were at the beach during a windstorm, it was now possible.
  • The machine was patented by a 90-pound weakling who was tired of bullies kicking sand in his face.
  • Before that, people had to destroy their sand castles by hand.

TODAY IS

Two months from today, we'll be exactly a week away from Christmas. Just sayin'...

Bristol Palin turns 27 today. Basically, she's a conservative Kardashian.

Rapper Nonchalant turns 47 today. She's unconcerned and planning a low-key party and not to get very excited.

Jean-Claude Van Damme is facing his 57th birthday today. Get out of that one, tough guy!

Pam Dawber of the old "Mork and Mindy" show turns 66 today. But that's old nanu-nanu's. I'm sure working with Robin Williams all those years aged her the most.

Singer Joe Egan turns 71 today. He was the non-Gerry Rafferty half of the group, Stealer's Wheel who sang "Stuck in the Middle With You."

Dawn Wells, Maryann from Gilligan's Island, is 79 years old. Wow. She spent three years stranded on "Gilligan's Island" and then the next 30 years stuck in TBS reruns.

The voice of college football, Keith Jackson, turns 89 today. Whoa Nellie!
