Emmy Nominee Jeff Daniels Shares the Real Reason He Hates Red Carpets. With two Emmy nods this year, Jeff Daniels should be excited for this year's award show. But on Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! the actor revealed he hates walking red carpets. "The red carpet is a gauntlet... There is so much ambition on the red carpet you need to shower afterwards," he said. "And there are so many microphones." The Dumb and Dumber star recalled one particularly miserable red carpet moment. He joked he had already been "kicking and screaming" when he started to do an interview with a celebrity news outlet. An unnamed Desperate Housewives star then "swept in" and hijacked the interview. While Daniels' agent told him not to take it personally, The Newsroom star admitted he did. Still, his loathing of red carpets isn't going to stop him from potentially taking home a trophy. Daniels is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his role in Godless and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his role in The Looming Tower. The actor is hoping to win in both categories. "If you're going to put on a tux and get in a limo, you may as well win," he said. If he does win, it wouldn't be his first Emmy. Daniels won the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role in The Newsroom back in 2013. Still, the actor faces some tough competition. To see who he's up against, check out the full list of nominees. (Eonline)

Demi Lovato to Undergo ''Extensive'' Treatment For Several Months. Demi Lovato is in it for the long haul. Upon leaving Cedars-Sinai hospital last week, the pop star immediately entered rehab for addiction treatment and now, a source tells E! News, "She will be in rehab for several months and is doing an extensive program to ensure she gets the help she needs." The 25-year-old is currently in Chicago, where she is undergoing treatment with a therapist who focuses on sobriety, mental health and wellness. This trip to visit the specialist in Chicago is just one of the many steps the former Disney star is taking to maintain her sobriety, following an apparent overdose on July 24. With the singer placing the utmost importance in overcoming her addiction, she decided to cancel the remaining tour dates in her Tell Me You Love Me tour and has kept social contact to a minimum. The insider reports that Demi "hasn't been in communication with anyone and is really focusing on herself." That also includes limiting contact with her ex-boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, who visited the singer at the hospital as she recovered from extreme nausea and high fever. "Wilmer has been in touch with the family and has been checking in on Demi's status," but has been unable to speak to the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer as she undergoes treatment. The source explained, "The family is trying to make sure they eliminate all distractions and want her to be focusing on her health right now." Overall, "Demi is doing much better," both mentally and physically. "She has become more open and is happy she is getting the help she needs," especially after she began to "grasp the severity of what happened and that she almost died." While her health was what ultimately led the singer to enter rehab, a source previously told E! News, "She wants to make a statement to her fans, family and friends that she is strong and can recover." After her discharge from the hospital, the singer broke her silence with a post to Instagram. "I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I've learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet," she wrote. Lovato thanked her family, team, the staff at the hospital and her fans for their love and support. "The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side," she finished her message. As she continues on her path to sobriety, the source says, "Demi hopes to make a full recovery and be able to do the one thing she loves: Music." (Eonline)

Why Melanie Griffith Is Swearing Off Marriage After Four Divorces. "Working Bitch." That's the title Melanie Griffith suggested for her potential memoir (aptly inspired by her iconic role in 1988's Working Girl) when she spoke to InStyle magazine's Marshall Heyman for an interview earlier this month. In the wide-ranging profile, the actress and mother-of-four opened up about her life away from the big screen and revealed why she isn't afraid to share her non-traditional outlook on marriage with the world. Over the span of her successful career, Griffith has been married four times to three different men. Twice to Don Johnson, whom she fell in love with at just 14-years-old. They'd welcome a daughter, actress Dakota Johnson, during their second marriage, and Griffith also took in Johnson's son as her own. But before tying the knot for a second time with Johnson, she married actor Steven Bauer. The two had a son together, 32-year-old Alexander Bauer, and in 1996 Griffith welcomed a daughter, actress Stella Banderas, with her most recent ex-husband, Antonio Banderas. Like many working moms, Melanie opted to press pause on her career while she and Banderas grew their family. Melanie said that particular decision "was more exciting than playing a part in a story. You have to live your life and not just play somebody else all the time. And how can you play somebody else if you don't live your own life?" Despite what could be a complicated family dynamic, Griffith assured that she has nothing but warm feelings for all her exes. She explained, "All of my husbands, my three husbands -- I love them all so much, and we're all very close." And when asked if another marriage is a possible reality, Melanie offered, "I really don't think it's relevant for anyone anymore. But especially if you're 60 and you have four kids and you're living the life you've always wanted. Then why get married? It's, like, I would love to fall in love and have a romance, a relationship, but I haven't. I keep looking. I've had a couple of lovers but not a relationship." Her most valued relationships, however, revolve around the ones she has with her four children. She jokes that her kids would never set her up on a date, nor will you catch her swiping left or right on Tinder any time soon. She told InStyle, "I think I can find someone on my own. But if you know of anybody, please tell me." But as her kids grow up and flock from the nest, Griffith is starting to rethink her career. She concluded, "After getting divorced and, in a way, finishing up with my kids -- my Stella is now 21 -- I have the time and the chance to reboot and revitalize my career, I guess you would say." Well, we can't wait to see what's to come! Read more from Griffith here, and pick up the latest issue of InStyle on newsstands now. (Eonline)

Twin Alert! Reese Witherspoon Introduces Fans to Her Longtime Body Double of Nearly 15 Years. Ava Phillippe isn't the only one twinning with Reese Witherspoon! The actress, 42, introduced fans and followers to her body double Marilee Lessley for the first time on Instagram Monday, and the resemblance is uncanny. "I want to introduce you to someone who has been working with me for years. This is Marilee and she's my double. Don't we look alike? We totally do," Witherspoon said in a selfie video from the set of her HBO series Big Little Lies. "Meet Marilee! She has been my double in 5 movies and now she is helping out on #BigLittleLies! Don't we look alike?!" the mother of two captioned her footage. Also, on Instagram Story, Witherspoon shared more clips from the BLL trailer and revealed that they've known each other since 2003. "I met Marilee on Legally Blonde 2 and she looks so much like me and everybody said we look so much alike so she became my double!" the Hello Sunshine creator said. Back in 2015, Lessley shared a photo from their days on the 2005 film Just Like Heaven in a throwback post on Instagram. "This is @reesewitherspoon and I on the first film I ever worked on with her, Just Like Heaven! So many great memories on that film and met some great people who will always be lifelong friends! #majorthrowback #funtimes #movieset #notmytwin #timeofmylife," the mother of three wrote. Since working together, Witherspoon and Lessley have developed more than just a work relationship. In 2016, Lessley revealed that the Oscar winner was there for her during a difficult time in her life. "You would have never known that just 1 day prior I was attending my brother's funeral... and that the 2+ weeks prior was spent sleeping in a hospital waiting room waiting for him to wake up from the coma he was in from his motorcycle accident," Lessley wrote on Instagram. "You would have never known that me and my 3 kids didn't even have a home and were in the middle of a hard divorce, and that we lived in a friends living room, with just the clothes on our backs to our name... there were more hardships I will not mention here, but basically times were hard... and they even got harder after this day." She added, "Reese came to me on this shoot as she learned about all the tragedies and trials that had unfolded in my life that month and she asked how she could help. Even told me I could go home paid... I was prideful and told her everything was going to be okay. I didn't need a thing. Inside I was scared and felt like giving up. I wanted to shout 'yes!! Please help!!! I don't have a place to live!!!' I was grateful for her listening ear and advice... and touched at her caring heart." (People)

Kendra Wilkinson is moving on and finding peace after separating from ex Hank Baskett. The former Playboy model, who has been on an epic summer vacation with her two children, is "in a better place mentally" than she was a few months ago, a source close to Wilkinson tells PEOPLE. "She's in Thailand right now enjoying some downtime. They're still finalizing the divorce and it's a whole process," says the source. "But they're in communication and are in a healthier space. It's no longer toxic." While things between the two seem to have simmered down, the source says the two will not get back together. "The marriage is definitely over though and they're just trying to work through things as parents and act appropriately for their kids," the source adds. "There's definitely still lingering animosity and hurt feelings but that's just how they are too. They can both be irrational and don't think before they put everything out there." Wilkinson has sought travel as a respite from the tense relationship between her and Baskett. Earlier this month, she shared a selfie taken with her son Hank Baskett IV, 8, on the Great Wall of China. She and Baskett also share a daughter, Alijah, 4. She initially filed for divorce in April 2018 citing irreconcilable differences. According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the couple of nine years first separated in January of this year. In June, a source revealed to PEOPLE that Wilkinson was in the process of moving out of her family's home, saying, "It's not a healthy environment and the two of them together has been toxic." The source added that Wilkinson and Baskett, 35, had been trying to make it work for their children, but it ended up being too draining. At the time, Wilkinson was struggling with her decision to split from Baskett, a source told PEOPLE. "Kendra is not in the best place right now ... She's trying to convince herself she's happy, but she's not," the source said. "During their marriage, Kendra and Hank went through all the right steps to make it work, and while there seemed to be some great and positive changes for them as a couple and as individuals, she struggled to deal with everything fully. She was hiding." While the separation was tough on the two, Wilkinson shared she was "super open" to dating just two months after filing for divorce. On her 33rd birthday in June, the mother of two also shared a sexy selfie on Instagram. "I see you 33. Time to celebrate this beautiful life I have and created. Time to enter a new year with a new mind set. Time to shut the door on anything holding me down n run towards the top of my life with the people who truly love and care about me n want to see me there. My kids are on my back n i will forever carry them and their best interest but guess what haters? Time to find Kendra's sexy side again n explore new ventures. Let's have some fun... " (People)

Demi Lovato's near-death OD began at 4 AM July 24, when she texted a drug dealer to come to her house ... sources tell TMZ. Sources with direct knowledge tell us, Demi had been at a party in WeHo following a birthday celebration at Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip. After the drug dealer got the text, he came to her house and we're told the 2 freebased Oxycodone on tin foil. Our sources say unbeknownst to Demi, the drug dealer had a bad habit of buying dirty drugs from Mexico ... and the batch in question appeared to be laced with fentanyl -- that's the same drug that killed Prince and Lil Peep. We're told the dealer fled her home when he noticed she was in bed, breathing very heavily. Our sources say Demi had been using the dealer since April. TMZ broke the story ... someone on Demi's staff found her around 11:30 AM on the 24th. She had to be revived with Narcan. Demi was hospitalized for 2 weeks and then went to an out-of-state rehab facility. Last Friday, she and her mom flew to Chicago for a few days where she received treatment from a renowned addiction specialist. (TMZ)

Bella Thorne accused of copying black-owned beauty brand. Bella Thorne's new beauty brand is already causing controversy. The 20-year-old former Disney star launched her line Filthy Fangs on Saturday, but social media users quickly began pointing out how closely Thorne's new eyeshadow palettes resemble those from black-owned makeup brand Juvia's Place. Founded by Nigerian entrepreneur Chichi Eburu, Juvia's Place offers highly pigmented eyeshadow palettes with equally striking Afrocentric packaging that have made the line an Instagram favorite. The company's Masquerade Palette features the same bright yellow packaging and bold, glittery shades (in similar purple, blue and red colors) found in Thorne's Ocean Drive Palette. But price-wise, the two sets couldn't be more different: The Juvia's Place palette offers 16 shades for $30, while Thorne's includes nine shades for $50. Filthy Fangs' nine-shade Kyra Palette is even pricier, at $60 for nine shades. Beauty fanatics were quick to call out the visual similarities, along with the obvious price difference. "But... they look like Juvia's place palettes? And they're WAY more expensive," one Twitter user wrote. "I'm confused who thought this was a good idea." Added another, "This that bootleg Juvia's Place." Despite the blowback, both Filthy Fangs palettes sold out in under 24 hours and have already been restocked, according to a tweet from Thorne. Reps for both Thorne and Juvia's Place did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. (PageSix)

Rihanna fell victim to a faulty home alarm system as LAPD officers and a helicopter swarmed her Hollywood Hills pad. Law enforcement sources say they responded to a home alarm at the singer's home Monday night. In a video -- obtained by TMZ -- multiple units can be seen parked outside the property. An LAPD helicopter was also spotted hovering about Rihanna's home in response to the alarm. Our sources say it was eventually determined the alarm was accidentally triggered, though Rihanna was not home at the time. As for the heavy police presence, were told it was because of the history of intruder's at Rihanna's crib. TMZ broke the story ... an intruder was arrested at the property back in May after he allegedly broke in and spent the night. The man allegedly told cops he was there to have sex with the singer -- though she was not home at the time -- but he did not intend to do it forcefully. The man was eventually charged with felony stalking and burglary. (TMZ)

Tyrese is dipping DEEP into his piggy bank, so deep there's nary a cent left to cover his estranged wife's attorney fees ... according to his financial records. Tyrese just filed docs responding to Norma Gibson's request for him to pay for her divorce attorney, and they reveal some serious monthly expenses. According to the docs, Tyrese says he's dropping about nearly $114k each month for his mortgage, child care, groceries, utilities and $10k in child support payments to Norma. Here's where that number becomes a problem -- Tyrese says in the docs he's only bringing in $51k on average each month. Doesn't take a math genius to see he's in the red. In fact, he says his savings have dwindled from $800k in cash last November to just $130k now. He's also blaming Norma for his lack of income these days -- saying the negative coverage he got last year when she accused him of domestic violence ... has made it hard for him to book movie work. (TMZ)

An actress who plays a post-apocalyptic juvenile delinquent on TV allegedly went nuclear on her BF in real life and got busted by cops. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Marie Avgeropoulos -- who stars as Octavia Blake on CW's hit sci-fi show, "The 100" -- was arrested in L.A. last week and booked for felony domestic violence. We're told a man called police very early on August 5 from inside a car ... claiming his girlfriend had hit him during a verbal argument. Sources say when police arrived, the man had marks on his body ... so Marie was taken to jail. Her mugshot's just as edgy as her character on '100' -- albeit with a lot less blood and war paint on her face. She does appear to have been crying though. A source close to Marie claims the actress was on new meds and mixed it with wine during dinner that evening ... which resulted in a bad reaction. We're told her boyfriend called police thinking they'd diffuse the situation rather than arrest her -- as they're both Canadian and unfamiliar with what'll get a person hauled off to jail in the U.S. Our source says he begged cops not to take her away ... and even bailed her out after. Marie was released on $50,000 bond. We're told the boyfriend does not want to press charges. (TMZ)

YG was flying high even before his flight left the gate ... at least according to American Airlines, which promptly kicked his allegedly drunken ass off the plane. YG boarded the LAX to JFK flight Monday night, but wasn't there long. The rapper was pissed off as he made that long, lonely and embarrassing walk back down the jetway. He said, "F**k American Airlines! They said I'm drunk. I'm sober than a muthaf***a!" American tells TMZ ... YG was indeed kicked off "due to being intoxicated." After seeing his video, though, AA tried to slide into his DMs. As he made his exit, YG made it clear he thinks this was less about booze, and more about FWB. He blurted, "Racist ass muthaf***as. I'm sober!!" The flight took off on time. (TMZ)
