THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Ludacris Brings Georgia Woman to Tears in Powerful Random Act of Kindness. Ludacris is giving a new meaning to Southern hospitality and he best prepare for a massive amount of positive karma coming his way. On July 30, a woman named Therra took to Twitter to explain and interaction she had with the Atlanta-based rapper while in line at Whole Foods, and E! News has confirmed her account. Therra called her chance encounter with Ludacris "the most amazing, infusion-of-joy thing." So what exactly happened at Whole Foods? In a nutshell, Ludacris purchased Therra's groceries. But there's more -- so much more -- to this moving story. In her first tweet, Therra wrote, "He was ahead of me in line when the food for my 4 rescued dogs & 2 rescued cats (and elderly, blind chicken named Dixie Licklighter) ended up in with his stuff." After Therra realized her pet food ended up in the same pile as the rapper's groceries, she spoke up to the cashier. Ludacris told Therra that he would just pay for it. She even tried to tell Ludacris and the cashier that it was enough: "I even tried to stop the cashier at a certain amount and he stopped me, "I said I got this," he said." Therra, immediately taken aback, began to cry. She compared the "Roll Out" rapper to modern-day superheroes: "I stared wide-eyed at this handsome young stranger as if he'd just dropped through the ceiling like a black James Bond, like a Batman, like the Black Panther." (Perhaps coincidentally, Ludacris posted an Instagram earlier in the week of him holding a pair of Nike high tops with the caption "Wakanda Forever B----ttttccchhh!!!") Ludacris and Therra engaged in some "small talk" after the total of the groceries ended up costing $375. "I'm talking to an angel," she recalled. Therra did not realize this mystery man was Ludacris, for he merely introduced himself as "Chris." When she asked, "Who ARE you?" he replied, "Just a guy." This recipient of Ludacris' generosity went on to illustrate exactly why her meeting Ludacris was such a fateful circumstance. She explained: "What Ludacris had no way of knowing is that I can't really afford to shop at Whole Foods. Not much, anyway. I was there because my kind friend (Miracle Mary I call her) gave me a gift card b/c she knew I'd had a verrrrry rough time recently." Therra's "rough time" involved many facets of her home and personal life. Her husband died of brain cancer, "and climbing out of that hole, emotionally, physically and financially, has devastated me for four years." Losing her husband wasn't all that was emotionally ailing Therra. She wrote, "What Ludacris had no way of knowing is that I'm Hurricane Katrina survivor and I lost my mother because of that unnatural disaster." In the end, Therra hopes her moment with Ludacris will inspire others and herself. "He used his personal light to fire up my own. Isn't that what we should be doing for each other?" she tweeted. She has 4 words for all of us to follow: "Be like Ludacris y'all." (Eonline)

Why some 'Pretty Woman' ticket holders were snubbed at the door. Julia Roberts was greeted by applause at a special performance of Broadway's new musical "Pretty Woman" Thursday at the Nederlander Theatre. But while she flashed her famous smile, a group of theater fans raged outside after buying tickets and not being able to get in. A source tells us there was a group of women outside the theater during intermission for the special show -- which started earlier than the normal schedule and functioned as a tribute to the director of the original 1990 movie version, Garry Marshall -- getting into a heated discussion with a manager. "They were pissed because their tickets said 8 p.m., but the show started at 6:30 p.m.," says a spy. "A woman was complaining they came all the way from Jersey. The guy was super apologetic and shoving merchandise in their hands, but they were just like, 'We don't want a hat, we want to see the show!' He promised they'd get tickets." A rep for the show explains: "They purchased early on. When it was determined the show was going to have a special tribute, the curtain time was changed to make it a more special event. Ticketmaster had communicated to everyone the curtain time had changed. Everyone else had gotten the message. These people are being taken care of." Marshall's wife, Barbara, and two of his kids took the stage after the show, with son Scott talking about his dad's dreams of Broadway. "He was on Broadway in 1980, his first shot," Scott told the crowd, referring to Garry's short-lived play "The Roast." "He opened on a Friday and closed on a Sunday. He was so heartbroken, he went out to the marquee to watch them take his name down, and the next show they were putting up there was 'Cats.' He said, 'Who wants to see a show about kitty cats! It'll never last!'" A seat in the back row was dedicated to the late director, who died in 2016. Garry also wrote the book for the musical. (PageSix)

It looks like KFC's found its next Colonel Sanders -- The Mountain from "Game of Thrones" ... and he's in the Colonel's duds doing something very Mountain-esque. TMZ got video of Hafthor Julius Bjornsson -- aka Thor, the 2018 World's Strongest Man -- decked out in the famous white suit for a one-of-a-kind video shoot ... for the record books. We're told it was a success, and along with also being a 4-time Europe's Strongest Man winner and a 7-time Strongest Man in his native Iceland ... he now hold the record for pulling the most fried chicken! That's finger lickin' impressive. It's unclear if The Mountain's officially joining the club of actors turned KFC spokesmen like Darrell Hammond, Norm Macdonald, Jim Gaffigan, George Hamilton and Rob Riggle, but if he does ... he'll easily be the strongest of the group. Unless Riggle's really been working out. (TMZ)

TJ Dillashaw took care of business in short order Saturday night, knocking out mortal enemy Cody Garbrandt for a second time ... and retaining his bantamweight title. The bad blood between the 2 fighters was evident ... they didn't touch gloves when the fight began and it both were clearly out for blood. TJ took the title from Cody last November and on Cody's part this was a revenge fight, which he lost at 4:10 of the first round after TJ delivered a flurry of punches. Henry Cejudo stunned everyone with a split decision win over Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson. It's all the more impressive because Mighty Mouse hadn't lost a fight in nearly 7 years and was widely regarded as the pound-for-pound best fighter in the UFC. He had staved off 11 fighters in a row in title fights ... until Saturday night at the Staples Center in downtown L.A. Someone made a lot of money Saturday night ... a lot of money. (TMZ)

Khloe Kardashian Gushes Over Tristan Thompson's Gifts for Launch of New Good American Line. Tristan Thompson made Khloe Kardashian's day a little sweeter on Friday as she continues her new working mom routine. The Cleveland Cavaliers player and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star flew with almost 4-month-old daughter True Thompson in June from Cleveland, where she was born, to Los Angeles. The three have lived at Khloe's house since then and amid the NBA offseason, as they continue to move past Tristan's cheating scandal, which erupted just before she gave birth to their child. Last month, Khloe ended her maternity leave and returned to work at her Good American apparel company. She recently flew to Seattle for a quick business trip and took part in workout class on the roof of the city's flagship Nordstrom store to promote the new collection. Waiting for her at home later on Friday were two gifts from Tristan: A massive display of black, silver and white balloons and a black and white cake bearing a Good American Activewear promotional photo of her and the words "Congratulations Khloe." "I just got home and look, these are all from Tristan," Khloe said on her Instagram Story. "Good American balloons and my cute cake. Thank you, thank you, thank you." With the NBA hiatus and Khloe's return to work, Tristan has been more available to stay at home with True. Last weekend, Khloe fired back at mommy shamers who criticized her attending a charity event. "I'm sick, at a charity event & I'm getting slack 4being here bc I have a baby? Her dad is watching her while I'm trying 2bring awareness 2an amazing organization," she tweeted. "But either way, what's wrong w a new mom letting daddy take over 4a few hours?" Khloe said earlier in July that Tristan "has done all the feedings while I am gone, so shout-out to all the good dads out there." (Eonline)

Steve Jobs' Daughter Recalls Their Troubled Past Amid Apple's Rise to $1 Trillion. Just before Apple made history by surpassing $1 trillion in market value, Steve Jobs' daughter opened up about her troubled relationship with the company's cofounder. Lisa Brennan-Jobs, the now 40-year-old daughter of Jobs, shared her story in her memoir, Small Fry. Vanity Fair published excerpts from the book on Aug. 1. Brennan-Jobs was born in 1978 -- just two years after Apple's founding. Jobs, who was only 23 at the time, denied fathering the child. However, according to the memoir, he still flew out to meet the child and help her mother, Chrisann Brennan, choose a name. Per the book, Brennan-Jobs' mother was on welfare, and performed jobs like cleaning houses and waitressing to make ends meet. In 1980, Jobs was sued for child support. While he continued to deny paternity of Brennan-Jobs, he was allegedly forced to undergo a DNA test. According to the published excerpt, the odds of a match came in at 94.4 percent. Brennan-Jobs wrote Jobs was ordered to pay child support and later provided her with medical insurance until she was 18. Before the case was finalized on Dec. 8, Jobs allegedly visited his daughter for the first time since her birth. "You know who I am?" he asked, per Brennan-Jobs' memoir. "I'm your father." Brennan-Jobs said her mother told her Jobs sounded like Darth Vader when he uttered these words. She also wrote that her father told her he was "one of the most important people you will ever know." However, on Dec. 12, 1980, everything changed. Apple went public and Jobs became a multimillionaire. According to the published excerpts, Jobs would stop by Brennan-Jobs home and go roller-skating with her and her mother. Brennan-Jobs admitted she would talk about her father with her mother after he would leave. In the book, she wrote that she once overheard her mother say he bought a new Porsche every time he scratched his car. After a while, Brennan-Jobs "assigned mystical qualities" to her father -- his "zipper teeth, his tattered jeans, his flat palms" -- and talked about him to her classmates. "I have a secret," she recalled saying to her friends at school. "My father is Steve Jobs." Over the years, Brennan-Jobs claimed she tried to will her relationship with her father to work. "For a long time I hoped that if I played one role, my father would take the corresponding role. I would be the beloved daughter; he would be the indulgent father," she wrote in the book, per Vanity Fair. "I decided that if I acted like other daughters did, he would join in the lark. We'd pretend together, and in pretending we'd make it real. If I had observed him as he was, or admitted to myself what I saw, I would have known that he would not do this, and that a game of pretend would disgust him." In the memoir, Brennan-Jobs recalled asking Jobs if she could have his Porsche when he was finished with it. "Absolutely not," he said, per her book. He allegedly later added, "You're not getting anything. You understand? Nothing. You're getting nothing." Despite their complicated relationship, Brennan-Jobs held onto one thing -- a story that her father had named a computer after her. In the book, the author described the Lisa as a "precursor to the Macintosh" and a "commercial failure." In the book, she claimed she'd use this story to "bolster myself" and feel "connected to him in a way." "It would mean I'd been chosen and had a place, despite the fact that he was aloof or absent," she wrote, per Vanity Fair's published excerpts. "It meant I was fastened to the earth and its machines. He was famous; he drove a Porsche. If the Lisa was named after me, I was a part of all that." So, she decided to ask him. However, she claimed her father denied it, adding a "Sorry, kid." It wasn't until years later when she became an adult that she would hear a different answer. When she was 27, she went on a trip to the Mediterranean with Jobs, his wife Laurene Powell and his three other children: Eve, Reed and Erin. During the trip, the family had lunch with Bono and the U2 singer asked Jobs if the Lisa was named after his eldest child. "My father hesitated, looked down at his plate for a long moment, and then back at Bono," she wrote in the memoir. "'Yeah, it was,' he said." Jobs died in 2011. Brennan-Jobs recalled visiting her father in the time leading up to his death. "For the past year I'd visited for a weekend every other month or so," she wrote. "I'd given up on the possibility of a grand reconciliation, the kind in the movies, but I kept coming anyway." To read the entire published excerpt, visit Vanity Fair. Small Fry debuts Sept. 4. Britney Spears Is Worth $56 Million, But Her Shopping Habits Prove She's Just Like Us. Britney Spears is the queen for the people and of the people. Despite the pop star being worth well over $56 million dollars, she still frequents the same retail stores as any every day American. In documents obtained by E! News -- released ahead of her conservatorship hearing that is occurring on Friday, Aug. 3 -- dozens of trips to household favorites like Target, Old Navy, Macy's and TJ Maxx are listed among her annual expenses. In addition to the "Toxic" singer's shopping excursions at the aforementioned retail stores, the mother-of-two has spent a healthy amount of money on sporting goods and clothing for herself and her sons at Nike, Dicks Sporting Goods and Adidas. However, some of her more out of the ordinary expenses include paying for her full-time bodyguard, maintaining her home's elevator and a legal team. She also pays her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, $20,000 a month in child support following their divorce in 2008. This amount is currently being renegotiated after Federline requested to "revisit a modification of the existing child support number, given that the kids are older and the financial circumstances of the parties are significantly different than when the child support was originally resolved." Leading up to the court hearing on Friday, a source close to Britney says she is "doing great right now despite all this court stuff going on. It isn't bothering her. She's in Europe right now on tour having a great time." And with the amount of money the performer has spent at the fashion retailers, there is no doubt this Maxxinista will be enjoying Europe in style. (Eonline)

Lance Bass: "They Accepted My Offer on the Brady Bunch House." When The Brady Bunch house was put on the market last month in search of buyers, Lance Bass was like, It's gotta be me. The former 'N Sync singer was one of a few people who had submitted an offer to purchase the 2,400-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom Studio City, California property, which had an asking price of more than $1.88 million, E! News has learned. "Super excited to announce they accepted my offer on the #BradyBunch house last night!!!" he tweeted on Friday. "This is going to be a fun project!" Bass did not disclose the amount he had offered or say when the sale would be finalized. The owners' real estate agent told E! News that Bass had submitted an offer but did not confirm that the home was sold to the singer. Maureen McCormick, who played Marcia Brady on The Brady Bunch series, wrote in response to Bass' tweet, "Congratulations! ??????" and joked, "May all your problems from here on out always be solved in a half hour!" "Thanks! You will most certainly be the first dinner guest!! I'm honored you approve," Bass tweeted back on Saturday. Jonathan Scott from HGTV's Property Brothers wrote, "I'm a little bummed that you out bid me (seriously) as I really wanted that house, but I'm very excited you're taking on this project. Let me know if you want any help :) @hgtv #bradybunchhome #IconicDreamHome." "The door will always be open to you and your family! ??" Bass replied. Only the exterior of the split-level home was shown on the iconic '60s and '70s show, as well as on a short-lived 1990 spinoff. Scenes of the family inside the house were filmed on a sound stage. Over the years, it has become a minor tourist attraction. The house was built in 1959. A married couple had bought the property for $61,000 in 1973 and were the second and most recent owners and residents. The home was put on the market a month after the surviving owner passed away. Her family and their real estate agents have not commented on Bass' announcement. The singer had expressed interest in buying the property soon after it was put on the market. "I'm obviously obsessed with The Brady Bunch. I mean, I grew up watching that show. Reruns! Reruns," he said on Ross Mathews and Marissa Jaret Winokur's show Off the Block. "I'm going to go look at it, because I want to buy this house." The home is largely unrenovated and it has been speculated that its new owner would demolish it and built a new structure. "Congrats," user @Swizzlestick8 tweeted to Bass. "Please don't touch the outside and please make the inside EXACTLY like the Brady house was on air." "That's the plan! " he replied. "I was one of the other offers on the house," tweeted screenwriter and director Gregory Storm. "I was planning to remodel the inside to match the #BradyBunch TV Show interior. If that's what you also plan to do instead of tear it down, I'll feel a little better about not having the highest offer. You're not tearing it down right?" "That's the plan!" Bass responded. (Eonline)

Lance Bass won't be buying the Brady Bunch house after all. UPDATE: Former NSYNC member Lance Bass posted an update on social media Saturday night saying he was "heartbroken" to learn that his winning bid on the Brady Bunch house was passed over due to "unforeseen circumstances," and that a Hollywood studio with "unlimited resources" would be purchasing the home. "How can I compete with a billion-dollar corporate entity?" he wrote. "I truly believe I was used to drive up the price of the home knowing very well that this corporation intended on making their offer and it's not a good feeling." (Entertainment Weekly)

Travis Scott celebrated the release of his new album like a world-class baller ... by promoting it all the way up to 35,000 feet. Travis not only booked a private jet to take him and his crew to the "Astroworld" release party in Chicago Thursday night -- he got his ride a custom wrap job to match. Scott's team hit up a private jet company in Van Nuys for the special occasion, which provided a Challenger jet for the rapper and up to 8 more of his peeps for their travels. We're told the private charter company also did the "Astroworld" wrap job, which costs around $30k. If that sounds pricey, it's because it's made of special material requiring FAA approval -- it's not your typical car wrap. As we've told you ... Travis' new album -- which dropped Friday -- has already been a source of controversy, but not because of the music. Clearly, he's not letting it bring him down. (TMZ)

Lamar Odom turns down 'huge' offer to star on UK's 'Celebrity Big Brother'. Lamar Odom has turned down a massive payday to appear on "Celebrity Big Brother" and spill secrets from his relationship with Khloe Kardashian. The former NBA player, 38, was lined up to star in the reality show that has a retribution theme this year after he confessed to having "multiple affairs" behind ex-wife Khloe's back. A TV source said: "Bosses were really keen on signing Lamar as their star contestant for this year's line-up. "The upcoming series is all about celebrities facing their demons and there's no better character than Lamar in terms of someone who's gone through a journey of redemption. "He had a massively successful career as a sportsman and a beautiful wife but it all came crashing down due to his infidelities and drug and drink addictions. "Lamar was offered a huge fee to take part in the series but eventually turned down the opportunity." In 2015 Lamar came close to death after he was found unconscious at a brothel following a drugs binge. Khloe, who divorced Lamar in 2016, said making medical decisions for her ex while he was in a coma was the most emotionally stressful time of her life. Speaking in 2015 she said: "They told me he had four hours. It's a horrible call to get. "Having to run these tests or make medical decisions, it's terrifying." Lamar made a miraculous recovery and later admitted to being unfaithful on Khloe, who's now in a relationship with Tristan Thompson. In an interview last year he said: "When I became Khloe Kardashian's man and on TV, it made me look more enticing. "That wasn't the stand-up thing to do. I wish I could have kept my d*** in my pants." Last year's Khloe best pal Malika Haqq appeared on the reality series but refrained from telling secrets about The Kardashians. (PageSix)

Kim Kardashian West's loss (of a car) could be your next come up ... if you got an extra $85k lying around, that is. Kim's customized 2015 Land Rover Range Rover V8 is up for grabs for anyone who can afford it -- now for sale at just $85,880 through Laguna Hills-based dealership Rosso Corsa. An employee there tells TMZ they recently came into possession of Kim's family vehicle, which she was often seen driving over the past few years. That's right ... Kim was in that seat, and now you, too, could plant it for a bit of deal, if we're being honest. The dealer said the car originally went for $151k, so about $66k in depreciation ain't half bad. Plus, it's got all the bells and whistles. We're told the Range Rover already comes super decked out, with 24" platinum Agetro wheels, a custom matte silver paint job and really sweet interior. All in all, sources say an estimated $20k went into pimping this ride to the Wests' liking. BTW ... we're told a bunch of makeup and toys were found inside upon delivery. Makes sense ... it was her mom-mobile, after all. (TMZ)

Colin Kaepernick's name will be added back to the soundtrack on Madden 19 ... according to a statement by the video game's developers. According to EA, it was all an unfortunate misunderstanding. The company's taking the blame for Colin's name being scrubbed from YG's song "Big Bank" on the game. EA says ... "We made an unfortunate mistake with our Madden NFL soundtrack. Members of our team misunderstood the fact that while we don't have rights to include Colin Kaepernick in the game, this doesn't affect soundtracks." The company adds the edit never should have happened, and apologized to Kaep, the NFL, players and fans ... along with YG and Big Sean. As we reported ... both rappers were pissed about what happened with the song, but EA insists it's going to make it right and update the tune -- with Colin's name back in -- on August 6. (TMZ)

Dana White says it's 100% on ... Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov is set for Oct. 6 at UFC 229 in Las Vegas!!! It'll undoubtedly be the biggest fight of the year for the UFC -- Conor's first fight back in the Octagon since his boxing match with Floyd Mayweather. The last time Conor fought for the UFC was back in 2016 when he avenged his loss against Nate Diaz. The Conor vs. Khabib match was announced at a special UFC media event in Los Angeles on Friday -- and while neither of those fighters showed up, Dana said he's pumped about it. (TMZ)

Renee Alway -- a finalist on cycle 8 of "America's Next Top Model" -- is no longer behind bars, because TMZ's learned she's been released from prison and is now out on parole. A rep for the Department of Corrections tells TMZ ... Renee -- sentenced to 12 years in prison back in 2014 on felony burglary, vehicle theft and weapons charges -- is no longer an inmate at the California Institution for Women in Chino, CA. We're told Renee was released Wednesday after serving a little more than 5 years behind bars since her June 2013 arrest. TMZ broke the story ... Renee was busted in Palm Springs after she was spotted wandering around a vacant home while carrying a gun and that led to a 6-hour standoff with police. It was at least the fourth time she was arrested that year ... but her encounter with SWAT was the most bizarre, which produced a brutal mugshot and, later, a shaved head. Be well, Renee. (TMZ)

George Michael's boyfriend tweets 'I hate you' after being left out of will. George Michael's boyfriend Fadi Fawaz tweeted "George I hate you" in several rambling social media posts. The tweet came after it was revealed the late superstar left nothing to Fadi in his will. Moments after his first tweet, he appeared to repeat claims that George had killed himself. The post read: "How can I be disappointed with someone ended their own life. "If anyone can do that to themself (sic), they can do worse things to others." The rant follows emails seen by The Sun in which Fadi said George killed himself, adding: "It took five attempts." Fadi continued his rant with another cryptic post which read: "Your power proved to me you could make a Town not react to loud noise at odd hours. "Your power proved to me you could turn friends, family and strangers into liars, cowards and very much inhuman and yet this mega power can't make or keep someone KIND or LOVING. "And I cannot wait to prove that to you. With all my hate." Last week, George's cousin Andros Georgiou, 55, revealed the late megastar has left his cash to charities, his sisters and staff, with former boyfriend Kenny Goss also missing out. Andros Georgiou, 55, said the estate had now written to those getting a share. They are said to include a housekeeper from his North London home and another at Goring, Oxfordshire, where he was found dead aged 53 on Christmas Day 2016. Andros, the singer's closest childhood pal, said most of the multi-million fortune will go to charities and sisters Yioda, 58, and Melanie, 56. But he added: "People who worked for George and were loyal to him will be getting small amounts." The estate is keen to sell the properties plus another in Regent's Park, London. However, the ex-Wham! star's on-off lover Fadi, who found his body, has not permanently moved out of the $6,500,515 pad. Andros said Fadi, 45, who received regular money from George, was contesting his exclusion from the will. He added: "Fadi is threatening to go all the way to High Court but I think the estate will have to settle with him. "He's been offered $650,050 and I think the estate should pay a couple of million to get rid of him." (PageSix)
