Median work scheduled on northbound I-19 at Pima Mine Road on Saturday morning

 

Motorists traveling northbound on Interstate 19 south of Tucson on Saturday morning will encounter a lane closure at Pima Mine Road while the Arizona Department of Transportation performs maintenance in the median.

The left lane of northbound I-19 will be closed at approximately kilometer post 80 (milepost 50) from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 23).

ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
