State Route 51 ramp restrictions beginning Friday night (Jan. 22)



State Route 51 ramp restrictions for bridge and utility work begin Friday night (Jan. 22). Please allow extra travel time while the following restrictions are in place:



  • State Route 51 northbound ramp to Loop 101 westbound in northeast Phoenix closed overnight for bridge work. DETOUR: Drivers can use westbound Union Hills Dr. to northbound Cave Creek Road to reach Loop 101 westbound.
    10 p.m. Friday - 7 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 23)



  • State Route 51 southbound on-ramp at Thomas Rd. closed for utility-related work at Phoenix Children's Hospital. DETOUR: Please use alternate routes, including the SR 51 southbound on-ramp at Indian School Road.
    6 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 23)
