  • There's a hotel on Spain's southern coast that is home to the world's most expensive Christmas tree. Every branch is generously dotted with white, black, pink and red diamonds, making it worth somewhere over $15 million.
  • Former President Jimmy Carter is back in the hospital with a UTI.
  • One in seven households plans to purchase a smart thermostat in the next 12 months, and more than one-third plan to self-install the device. Only 18% will use a retailer to install the smart thermostat, while 25% plan to use a home security provider for installation services.
  • For what it's worth, 93-year-old Queen Elizabeth II prefers round ice cubes instead of traditional ones, because she believes they "clink less."
  • New drink at Starbucks-the Irish Cream Cold Brew. They've also re-launched their "Starbucks for Life" contest.
  • By the way, for the record, some of those drinks you may order at Starbucks may contain as many as 23 teaspoons of sugar. No kidding.
  • Sunday was the first day recreational marijuana went on sale in Michigan. Well, legally.
  • How's the online shopping going so far? eCommerce spending hit a record $4.2 billion on Thanksgiving -- the first time Thanksgiving online retail sales topped $4 billion and an increase of 14.5 percent over last year.
  • In Japan, a retired man was arrested for calling up the phone company to complain about his bill over 24,000 times.
