The Hummingbird Stitchers Quilt Guild, regular monthly night meeting on Monday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. Quilt Stories and Trunk Show Sheila Arnold. These are trunk shows of Sheila's quilts (many she has made, some antiques) and the stories behind them. Sheila is an AZ Quilters Guild traveling teacher and has been quilting and teaching since 1984. Check out her biography at www.azquiltersguild.org. HSQG meets at the Rothery Educational Services Center (old Apache Middle School) on the East end of the campus, 3305 E. Fry Blvd.. Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
