Job Title: Environmental Services - Positions in Sierra Vista
Reports To: Facilities Supervisor
Date: July 9, 2015
Job Purpose: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and operating cleaning machinery.  Hours include evenings & weekends.

Essential Job Results include but are not limited to: 
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. 
Gather and empty trash. 
Service, clean, and supply restrooms. 
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. 
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. 
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
Maintenance of floors:  Clean or shampoo carpets. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. 
Clean clinical areas using anti-bacterial solvents and power cleaning equipment. 
Drive company vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners. 
Follow company and product safety and security policies at all times. 
Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, and chairs, to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements

Education and/or Experience:
High School or GED
Previous Experience preferred, especially with cleaning equipment.
Current AZ Drivers License, qualified under company insurance.
Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out verbal and written instructions.
