ADOT partnerships at work on I-15 Virgin River Bridge No. 6
The Arizona Department of Transporation tries to meet with local government and emergency responders on every highway construction project and talk about emergency access plans.
The partnership between ADOT, the Arizona Highway Patrol and contractors recently proved beneficial on the I-15 Virgin River Bridge No. 6 project when a commercial vehicle crashed blocking the highway. A combined effort from the team got traffic moving quickly and ultimately saved drivers from delays of about three hours.
