Bisbee’s community theater company, Bisbee’s Obscure Productions, is pleased to announce the return of a much loved workshop program that’s been missing from our lives for a couple of years. On Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. at Central School Project’s Squffy Theater, BOP invites all comers to kick-start our local improv group, Bisbee’s Order of the Oddvarks. If this title might fit you, come on down! Veteran improv-er and Comedy Show favorite, Hilary Pursehouse, will be coming to town to facilitate the group, and we hope to begin a regular program again. Improv offers a fun, unscripted way to play around in theater arts. It is usually thought of as funny, but left to its own devices, improvised scenes can take the players in any direction. Improv helps players expand their usual patterns and think on their feet. BOP welcomes players who just want to play in a workshop setting and those who are looking to perform.
