Selena Quintanilla Will Finally Have a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It's about time! We can now add a star to this astonishing legacy. The Hollywood Walk of Fame will be honoring bilingual superstar Selena Quintanilla in 2017. John Legend, Hall & O, Gustavo Dudamel, Eva Longoria, Ice Cube, 'N Sync, Amy Adams, Dwayne Johnson, New Edition, and many more are also set to receive their own star. Already a Grammy winner and owner of a clothing line and a boutique-salon, Selena was shot and killed by the founder of her first fan club on March 31, 1995. She was 23. The Texas-born singer was a pioneer for many artists as she seamlessly crossed over from the Spanish market and into the English market. Shortly after her death, the star's story was brought to life in the biopic Selena starring Jennifer Lopez. Yet, her music and all that she left behind, continues to bring new and younger fans each year. A true testament of that is the late singer's 2016 Latin Billboard Award for "Top Latin Albums Female artist of the Year" and nomination for "Latin Pop Solo Album of the Year." Think about it...her music still resonates with fans, even 21 years later. She continues to hold her throne. Just ask Selena Gomez, whose parents named her after Quintanilla in 1992. This year family and fans attended the second annual Fiesta De La Flor in Texas with two days packed of performances honoring the hometown legend. The festival brought $13 million into the economy of Corpus Christi, according to organizers. We can also expect a Selena-inspired makeup line by MAC, set to debut in October. "Selena's talent and beauty, inside and out, have left a colorful, meaningful impact in the world that has continued to grow over the last two decades," M.A.C creative director James Gager told People. "We have heard the passion and enthusiasm from her fans and wholeheartedly agree that her legacy embodies M.A.C's philosophy. We are so excited to announce a Selena-inspired M.A.C collection debuting in the latter part of 2016." This is a huge year for Selena's legacy, and we're sure fans couldn't be happier. "Anything for Selenas!" (Eonline)

Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are dancing as a trio these days. The professional dancers, who got engaged in December, are expecting their first child, PEOPLE can confirm exclusively. "I can't wait to provide this baby with the tools to become a beautiful, kind person," Chmerkovskiy says in the current issue of PEOPLE. "And they'll have the best sneaker collection." Murgatroyd, 29, and Chmerkovskiy, 36, learned they were expecting just a few weeks into season 22 of Dancing with the Stars. "I was so sick," Murgatroyd says of her first months of pregnancy, which she spent competing -- and eventually winning -- alongside model Nyle DiMarco. But now in her second trimester, Murgatroyd is enjoying life on the road with Chmerkovskiy -- who is currently starring alongside his brother, Valentin, in Maks & Val: Live on Tour-and is looking forward to life as a new mom. "I'm looking forward to nurturing something and just having the baby be the center of our world," says Murgatroyd. "I'm looking forward to putting all our energy into this beautiful soul." They still don't know whether they're having a boy or girl, but "we'll be in trouble with a little me running around," jokes Chmerkovskiy. "So hopefully they'll be a lot like Peta." The happy couple admits they were planning to start a family, but initially didn't envision having a baby until after their 2017 summer wedding -- not that they mind! "The timing is perfect, actually," adds Murgatroyd. "I'll have the baby in January and then I'll still have about six months to prepare for the wedding." "The baby will make a wonderful addition to the wedding party," adds Chmerkovskiy. "A wonderful, tiny addition." (People)

Conscious recoupling! Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox are scrapping their divorce papers. "They're totally back together," a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly. Says the source of the parents of Noah, 3, and Bodhi, 2, who are expecting their third child together this summer, "They've been through a lot, but this makes more sense for the kids and the new baby." (Fox's father, parole officer Franklin Fox, told the Daily Mail she is having a boy.) As Us previously reported, Fox, 30, filed for divorce last August after five years of marriage. Green, 42, has been courting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star ever since. Helping him seal the deal: an April 18 getaway to Hawaii, the site of their 2010 nuptials. During their stay at the Four Seasons Hualalai, a pal revealed at the time that Fox started to come around to the idea of calling off the divorce. "It was great, and Megan is coming around," an insider told Us at the time. "She hasn't called off the divorce just yet, but it's heading in that direction. They are both very excited about a new baby and having it together." Now, the recently rekindled pair will focus on rebuilding their family. "They recently moved to Malibu together and they've been touring preschools," a second insider tells Us. "They're trying to get in as much special time as possible." As for the move, the actress recently told Jimmy Kimmel that her unborn child requested a different place to call home. "This baby wanted me to live somewhere else," Fox said during her Live! appearance, where she also explained that she gets messages from her child in utero. "So we're moving to a whole different place in Los Angeles because I feel like that's where this baby wants to be raised." (US Weekly)

Tia Mowry-Hardrict and her husband Cory Hardrict are completely open to adding to their family, which also includes 5-year-old son Cree Taylor. But there's one problem standing in the actress and author's way. "I do suffer from endometriosis," Mowry-Hardrict, 37, told PEOPLE at the 2016 BET Awards, where she sizzled in Roberto Cavalli on the red carpet. "So there's a little bit of a challenge there, but I will say this: I am working on my diet." She explains that her plan is to follow "a diet I do when I want to just clean myself out and get rid of inflammation in my body." She also cites her upcoming cookbook, A Whole New You, as something that will help her do just that -- since, according to Mowry-Hardrict, "Endometriosis basically grows from inflammation." "[We're] trying, but I don't want to put too much hope into it," she adds. "I don't want to be let down." Although Mowry-Hardrict doesn't want to just assume she will become a mom again, she's also optimistic about her chances. "We're going on vacation tonight to Anguilla, so who knows!" she jokes. Her desire to add to her brood is no surprise, though, considering family means the world to the former Sister Sister star. The day before the BET Awards, she was at the park celebrating Cree's fifth birthday with an epic shark-themed extravaganza, orchestrated by celebrity planner Mindy Weiss. "My son had the best freakin' party," Mowry-Hardrict says. "I felt like a really good mom. He turned 5, the whole thing was shark-themed, we had a huge submarine jump tent ... incredible food from hot dogs to hamburgers to fries to vegan salad and all different types of treats. "We had a bubble section, where kids could play bubbles and bubble guns," she adds, admitting that she may have enjoyed that more than the kids. "My sister and I had more fun in the bubbles. We were shooting each other. It was just great." The party was part of a family tradition of celebrating five-year milestones. The next one is her 10-year wedding anniversary, when she plans to renew vows with her husband. "This time, I want to go away," she said of the vow renewal that will take place in two years. "We were married in Santa Barbara, we love Santa Barbara. We renewed our [five-year] vows in Malibu by the beach. I went to Pepperdine, so I have a connection with the beach in Malibu. "We want to go to Italy or Europe [this time]," she shares. "It will be intimate. I think it's important to continue to make it special. So every five years we'll do a big party for my son and a celebration, renewing the vows." So it made sense that, on Sunday, Mowry-Hardrict's pride for her husband beamed on the red carpet. "I'm here because of Cory," she said. "He won the grand jury prize for best actor for the American Black Film Festival. This is a film festival that has put Halle Berry on the map. BET is partnering up with the film festival. I think it's amazing. They're giving the African-American community a spotlight to showcase their talent." She continues, "We're all talking about diversity -- here, there needs to be more in television. This is a film festival that's been going on for 20 years. I like that it partnered with BET to give some of these young African-American writers and producers some love and a little help." (People)

Dennis Quaid's Wife Kimberly Files for Divorce (Again). Despite their best efforts, the Quaids couldn't make it work. Dennis Quaid's wife, Kimberly Quaid, filed a divorce petition in L.A. Tuesday. "After careful consideration, we have decided to end our 12-year marriage," the exes told TMZ in a joint statement. "The decision was made amicably and with mutual respect toward one another." The Quaids plan to share custody of their 8-year-old twins, son Thomas and daughter Zoe. "We will always remain great friends and devoted partners in raising our children," said the 62-year-old actor, who was filming Crackle's The Art of More in Vancouver when Kimberly filed the docs. TMZ reports most of their assets have already been divided. Kimberly, a real estate agent, first filed for divorce in March 2012, claiming that the marriage had become "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities." Two months later, however, she withdrew the divorce papers and asked a judge to dismiss the previous petition. The pair split again in October, and the following month, Dennis filed for divorce. He asked for joint legal and physical custody of the children and offered to pay spousal support to Kimberly. Dennis and Kimberly reconciled in the spring of 2013. Kimberly is Dennis' third wife. He was previously married to actresses P.J. Soles and Meg Ryan. (Eonline)

John Mayer: "I'm Single and I'm Excited About the Future." John Mayer is ready to meet his muse. Asked about his relationship status on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live Tuesday, the singer-songwriter, 38, told host Andy Cohen, "I'm ready to roll. I'm more mature than I've ever been." Mayer, whose famous ex-girlfriends include Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Minka Kelly, Katy Perry, Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift, is ready to fall in love again. "The stage is set, but I'm excited for a meet cute at some point. I'm single and I'm excited about the future." Mayer's most recent relationship was with Perry, which was on and off from 2012 to 2015. After Perry split with Mayer last fall, the "Dark Horse" singer moved on with Orlando Bloom. For now, at least, Mayer is able to enjoy the perks of being single -- like getting to spend extra time with his friends. He's even hit up a few gay clubs with Cohen. "I can dig it. I can get into it," he said. "Andy -- you guys must know -- Andy is the hottest thing going. When you walk in a gay club with Andy Cohen, he is the Beyonce of that club. He is unbelievable. I've seen celebrity and I've seen pull and I've seen clout, but you have not seen anything like Andy Cohen walking in." "Let me flip that around and say I've been to a couple straight bars with that one," Cohen said before pointing to the famous ladies' man seated to his left, "and I will reverse that equation." Mayer shrugged, took a sip of his drink and replied, "I do all right." (Eonline)

Lady Gaga has reportedly been "banned" by China's Communist party after she met with the Dalai Lama to discuss meditation. The pop singer met up with the Tibetan leader on Sunday before a conference in Indianapolis in which they discussed meditation, mental health and humanitarian issues. The meet up, which Gaga posted to her Facebook page in a 19-minute video, was met with furore by Chinese Communist party leaders who have now reportedly issued "an important instruction" to add the singer to a list of hostile foreign forces. Yikes. To give a bit of background, the frosty relationship with China and the Dalai Lama started when he fled into exile in March 1959. China's rulers consider him a separatist but he insists he is just seeking greater autonomy from Chinese rule for Tibetans. Lady Gaga isn't the first famous name to receive this sort of ban after interacting with the Tibetan leader, with Bjork, Oasis and Maroon 5 also reportedly on the list. (British Glamour)

Burying the hatchet. Brandi Glanville revealed in a new interview that she has finally made peace with LeAnn Rimes over the country singer's 2009 affair with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum's then-husband Eddie Cibrian. During an appearance on SiriusXM's Conversations With Maria Menounos, the Bravo star, 43, opened up about how she and Rimes, 33, have come to accept their new life as a "modern family." "I think that I've acted like a child enough during the seven years," she said on Tuesday, June 28. "We've definitely had our moments of not putting the kids first and not being proper adults, and as the kids are getting older, something did happen with one of them, and I don't really want to go into it, but it made the three of us -- Eddie, LeAnn and myself -- realize we have to be together on this." The former Real Housewife continued, "We have to be a unit, the three of us. We are a modern family, and we have to stick together in order to keep these little boys in line and to keep them from not manipulating us against each other, and we need to be together for them. So that's what happened really, something with the kids, and we just came together. And it's all fine. And I think that LeAnn finally realizes that I don't want your man. That's all done, but we can all still get along and be friends, and so we are." Glanville and Cibrian, 43, who tied the knot in 2001 and share sons Mason, 13, and Jake, 9, finalized their divorce in 2010. The Sunset Beach actor and the "How Do I Live" crooner, who was married to Dean Sheremet at the time of the affair, later married in April 2011. Last week, during the June 21 episode of Famously Single, Glanville divulged a little about her battle with post-divorce depression. "I had a couple years of depression," she explained on the E! reality series. "I started drinking too much. I had to up my antidepressants. I cried all day, every day. I lost too much weight, but I had to take care of my two kids, and it wasn't about me anymore. I knew it had to be done." (US Weekly)

China Bans Taylor Swift Fans From Betting on Her Love Life . Online vendors had been offering fans "insurance policies" to protect themselves against the prospect of a Hiddleswift split. Chinese Taylor Swift fans hoping to hedge their heartbreak by insuring against the downturns in the pop star's love life are now out of luck. Taobao, China's largest online marketplace, has cracked down on vendors who were offering "insurance policies" on Swift's reported relationship with British actor Tom Hiddleston. The Hiddleswift plan offered double your money if the couple split up. According to China's state-run Xinhua News Agency, Taobao vendors had begun taking bets on the pop star's romantic fortunes last week, with the minimum wager set at 1 yuan ($.15). "If I bought a million, I would make a lot -- these stars break up all the time which gives us the opportunity to earn a lot of money!" said one policy purchaser named Xiaoting, according to Xinhua. He may have had a point: a cursory survey reveals the average length of Swift's recent relationships -- spanning past partners Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles and a couple others -- was about two and half months. (Calvin Harris, who dated Swift for over a year, was a statistical outlier.) One seller said he had logged over 543 transactions. But as of Wednesday, Taobao blocked Hiddleswift insurance offerings. Searches were met with the following message: "According to laws and regulations, what you have searched for cannot be displayed." Similar offers that allowed users to place bets on whether Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom will stay together, or whether it will be President Donald Trump or President Hillary Clinton after the U.S. elections in November, have also been removed. To all outside appearances, the schemes were not selling insurance -- which is legal in China -- but rather offered users an opportunity to gamble by another name. Gambling, aside from two state sanctioned lotteries, is officially illegal in mainland China. When asked for comment, Alibaba Group, which owns and operates Taobao, told THR that it believes the breakup insurance was being used by sellers as a marketing tool to attract traffic. "As it is not strictly an insurance product, the sellers are not qualified as insurance sellers," the company said. "So we have taken down such 'products' from the Taobao platform." A few of the more creative insurance schemes appear to have slipped through the cracks though. Still available is a policy on whether season 4 of the British-American crime show Sherlock, which has a huge following in China, will air on schedule later this year. Concerned fans can also insure themselves against the risk that Patrick Stewart might suddenly grow hair for the next installment of the X-Men franchise. As of Wednesday afternoon in China, two buyers had taken out policies hedging against an end to Stewart's baldness. (Hollywood Reporter)

Chelsea Handler Claps Back At Critics After Abortion Essay Truth Bomb -- See What She Said. Chelsea Handler has zero regrets in regards to opening up about the two abortions she had as a teenager. As we previously reported, the Netflix star revealed in an article published in Playboy magazine earlier this week that she had terminated two unplanned pregnancies in her youth. While the TV host has previously mentioned her past decision to have an abortion, it seems fans thought the blonde beauty was too facetious in her editorial piece about such a serious issue. Yikes. Nonetheless, Miz Handler couldn't disagree with her critics more as she took to Twitter to defend her candid article. She clapped back: Hear! Hear! Unfortunately, even Chelsea's simple tweet is getting mixed reviews as several followers have since commented on the A-lister's defense of her work. One follower wrote: DANGGGG! Tell us how you really feel. Nonetheless, not all of the comments were negative as one fan added: You tell 'em, girl! Although Chelsea's essay might be sparking quite a bit of controversy, we're just happy to see that it's caused a discussion about such an important topic. (Perez Hilton)

American Idol alum John Stevens suffered a fractured skull after being hit by a van while jogging in Chelsea, Massachusetts, last week. Stevens, 28, gave an update on his health on Saturday, June 25. "Thank you to everyone who has been calling, texting and messaging. Early this week I was hit by a van while out for a run and suffered a fractured skull and dislocated and broken arm. Among other injuries and disorders I'm dealing with, it appears I will have some, if not total deafness in my right ear," he wrote on his Facebook page. "The staff at Mass General were above and beyond anything I could've ever asked for," he continued. "My parents have taken me back to buffalo for a couple weeks to heal and recover from the accident since I won't be able to work. Thank you very much for all of the well wishes and prayers. It truly means a lot to me." According to NBC's WGRZ, who spoke with Stevens' mom, the singer will be receiving more medical treatment in Boston in a couple of weeks. Stevens placed sixth in season 3 of the Fox singing competition in 2004. At the time, he was 16 years old the youngest contestant to make it to the finals. He was best known for his crooning style and singing Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin songs. Stevens is now working as a concierge at a downtown Boston hotel, WGRZ reports. Still having a passion for music, he created the seven-piece ensemble group John Stevens Band last year and sings with the Beantown Swing Orchestra. (US Weekly)

Judge Joe Brown is incapable of practicing law because of some sort of disability that renders him either physically or mentally impaired. The Tennessee Supreme Court has put Brown on inactive status, meaning he cannot represent clients. As for why, Brown's production company says, "Judge Brown is suffering from what hopefully will prove to be a temporary disability as a result of complications following from Type II Diabetes and the effects of prescribed medications for the condition, combined with hypertension and stress." A Tennessee disciplinary official tells us, the trigger for benching the former TV court judge was a disciplinary hearing. Brown was under fire for blowing a gasket at a judge in a Memphis juvenile court. The Tennessee Supreme Court determined Brown's disability made him unable to defend himself in the disciplinary hearing, so he was placed on inactive status. We tried reaching Brown for comment ... so far no word back. (TMZ)

Justin Bieber has not been a free man for 2 years, but that all changed in the last few weeks because we've learned he's finally off probation. Bieber copped a plea in the now-famous vandalism case in which he chucked eggs at his neighbor's house, causing $80k in damages. Justin paid for the repairs and performed 40 hours community service. He was then placed on 2 years' probation and ordered to keep his nose clean. Justin not only lived up to his end of the bargain ... he impressed the folks at the Probation Dept. So his lawyers went to court a month early and got a judge to end probation. On June 9th -- 30 days before his probation officially expired -- he became a free man again. Congrats! (TMZ)

Mark Zuckerberg's 6' stone wall around his $100 million Kauai property has blocked out the Pacific Ocean to neighbors ... some of whom are livid. The Facebook founder bought the 750-acre estate in 2014 and now wants to shore it up, but a 5'8" neighbor for one is furious, because now she can't see water. Some neighbors claim they've tried reaching out to Zuckerberg, to no avail. TMZ contacted the zoning department in the area and we were told no one has lodged a formal complaint and there is no investigation. We contacted someone from the Planning Dept. and turns out Zuck has every right to build a 6' wall if he wants ... and he wants. (TMZ)

Prince Harry Belts It Out With Coldplay at Kensington Palace Charity Concert to Combat AIDS. Prince Harry exchanged royal for rockstar in honor of a very important cause. Tuesday night in the 31-year-old's very own Kensington Palace backyard, the prince organized a massive benefit concert in honor of the people of Lesotho in South Africa battling HIV and AIDS. As can be expected of a royal affair, Prince Harry left no stone unturned, calling in Britain's very own Coldplay to headline the evening. The event was held in conjunction with the charity Harry helped establish in 2006, Sentebale. "Sentebale, meaning forget me not in Sesotho, has helped tens of thousands of children in just over a decade," he said while addressing the crowd at the start of the night. "We focus on, not just making sure children with HIV, get the medical treatment they need, but the emotional support and empowering knowledge that is so vital for their long-term health and prosperity." In honor of event, Prince Harry organized additional musical appearances by "Am I Wrong" duo Nico and Vinz, the Basotho Youth Choir and Sentebale ambassador, Grammy winner Joss Stone. However, before the festivities were in full swing, Harry was careful to remind attendees that HIV and AIDS is not just an issue overseas. "In southern Africa, the epidemic remains the biggest killer of adolescents. Here in the UK, more people have the virus than ever before," he announced. It's a reality Prince Harry witnessed firsthand when he initially visited Lesotho as a teenager. Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, whom Harry co-founded the organization with a decade ago, likened the young royal to his famously charitable mother. "To you, my dear friend and brother Harry, I wish to pay a very special tribute. You came to Lesotho as a young man and today you stand tall and proud and are walking among the giants. You are making a difference. That is a testimony to the mother that we so love, that is Princess Diana," he reportedly said before the crowd. "You in her footsteps have gone beyond the call of duty and gone to those dark corners and reached out your hand to the most vulnerable children of Aftica and in particular, Lesotho. Harry got up and went to Lesotho and said to the children of Lesotho, 'I am part of you.'" In addition to the concert, it was announced Tuesday that Prince Harry will meet with doctors and nurses caring for patients in South London, home to one of the highest concentrations of HIV-positive people in Europe, in July. He is also scheduled to travel to Durban, South Africa next month for the 2016 International AIDS Conference. After Coldplay filled the palace property with the sound of its 2011 hit "Paradise," the Basotho Youth Choir joined them to belt out "Up&Up." Thanks to a Twitter video shared by the Kensington Palace Twitter account, an elated Harry can be seen grooving to the music and truly enjoying the special moment while surrounded by the children. While he looked happy, Harry urged everyone to pay close attention to the children's group and mimic their delightful spirit. "What we know is that HIV is a virus that thrives off silence and feeds on stigma," he concluded. "We must follow the example of the young people of Lesotho, and meet one of the great challenges of our generation with optimism, energy, and openness. That's what tonight is all about. When people come together for a purpose we can achieve extraordinary things." (Eonline)

Travis Barker is a changed man. On tour for California, Blink-182's first album in five years, the drummer is at the best point in his life. "I'm feeling younger and better now than I did when I was 20," the rocker tells PEOPLE. When the band first broke out in the '90s, "I was probably one of the most unhealthy human beings, from what I ate to what I put in my body," Barker adds. "There have been so many hardships in my life. Now I know how to handle them ... I just feel so blessed." Indeed, at just 40 years old, Barker has endured more than most. He has admitted to abusing painkillers and once said he would mix drugs like Vicodin, Oxycodone and Valium with alcohol to self-medicate his fear of flying. But, "It just goes to show it's really about how you carry yourself and how you treat yourself, and I definitely made a lifestyle change years ago that made me 100 percent better," says Barker, who knows he was once "very young and wild." That change came when Barker learned he was going to be a father. "I felt myself change immediately," says Barker, who welcomed son Landon with ex Shanna Moakler in 2003; the pair had daughter Alabama in 2005. "I started running, I boxed every day-it's just something that made me want to be the best parent I could be." While Barker has said he had used drugs after having kids, another major life change got him clean. In 2008, a private plane he was riding crashed after takeoff, killing four of the six on board. Barker was left with 65 percent of his body covered in burns and underwent 30 surgeries, but focused on his kids to recover. "I knew I had to bounce back. I'm a father- I had two human beings who were looking to me for guidance," he says. "I was sober from that point on." Just 11 months after the crash, the only other survivor, Barker's close friend Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein died of an overdose. "If I didn't already know how precious life was, I was definitely smacked in the face and reminded," says Barker of the tragedy. After the crash, "I never wanted to leave home again in my life," he adds. "I wanted to be with my kids." These days, Barker shares joint custody of the kids with Moakler, with whom he finalized a contentious divorce in 2008. And while he's balancing his music career, his primary focus is still on the kids, who are often on the road with him. "They've been on tour since they were 2-music is in their blood," says Barker, adding Landon, 12, raps and plays drums, while Alabama, 10, sings and plays the piano. As it turns out, they've even gone in the studio with him-and his daughter is on "She's Out of Her Mind," a new Blink-182 track. "We were still figuring out parts, and Alabama walks over to the piano and says, 'I have an idea,' and she starts playing this idea that ended up becoming the bridge part of the piano; it was very organic," says Barker of the process. "I was so proud of her." And the kids aren't just helping make the music-they're inspiring it, too. "There's a song called 'Growing Apart.' For me, it was about our kids," says Barker. "You raise them, and you're so close to them: They're your everything, but you know they're going to grow up and move on ... To take their whole life as your own is the most beautiful thing in the world, and at the same time it's a really sad thing, too." With their teenage years looming, "I just want to spend as much time with them as I can," Barker says, adding with a laugh: "There are girls chasing my son and boys chasing my daughter-I told them if things get out of hand, we're moving far, far away. We'll have our own island somewhere." Adds the star: "I don't take any day-any second-for granted. (People)

Miss Teen USA to Eliminate the Swimsuit Competition. Bye, bye bikinis! Miss Teen USA has officially removed the bathing suit competition from its pageant. According to USA Today, the Miss Universe organization announced that the 51 women in the pageant will be judged in a brand-new athletic wear competition, rather than swimsuits. The organization hopes their decision will show their support for feminism and equality, and while the bathing suit competition was intended to prove athleticism, they hope athleisure wear will feel less exploitative and more focused on the importance of physical fitness for its younger participants. Reigning Miss Teen USA, Katherine Haik, agrees with their pageant's decision. She said in a statement, "I have been an athlete my entire life. As a member of a softball team and a competitive dance team, I spend a lot of time in athletic wear." She continued, "This new direction for Miss Teen USA is a great way to celebrate the active lives that so many young women lead and set a strong example for our peers." Miss Universe president, Paula Shugart, explained that the shift is hopeful in celebrating women's "strength, confidence and beauty." "This decision reflects an important cultural shift we're all celebrating that empowers women who lead active, purposeful lives and encourage those in their communities to do the same," she wrote. Our hope is that this decision will help all of Miss Teen USA's fans recognize these young women for the strong, inspiring individuals they are." (Eonline)

Between cuddling up on beach dates, meeting the parents and traveling Europe together, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston's picturesque romance has been a whirlwind. And though the "Shake It Off" singer only split from deejay Calvin Harris weeks before she first stepped out publicly with the Crimson Peak actor, a source tells PEOPLE exclusively the new couple is going strong. "They have fallen for each other very quickly," says the source. "They're very close for people who have only been dating for a couple of weeks." Indeed, a Hiddleston family source told PEOPLE the actor's mom couldn't stop gushing about Swift after spending the weekend with her. "She thinks Taylor is the loveliest," says the family source. "She was so happy to meet her. Taylor was almost immediately part of the family." Swift, 26, was single for two years before her 15-month-long relationship with Harris, 32, and was open about stepping away from the dating scene after her dating life became "a bit of a national pastime," she told Rolling Stone. But Hiddleston, 35-who traveled to Rome with Swift after their family weekend in England-appears to have won over the singer. "Normally, Taylor is very reserved and private, but she is totally open and happy with Tom," says the source. (People)

Taylor who? Calvin Harris might not have jumped straight into a new relationship after his split from Taylor Swift -- but he's certainly not moping about! In fact, the Scottish DJ appears to be having the time of his life in the wake of his 15-month romance with the "Shake It Off" singer -- sharing a selection of snaps of himself on a luxury yacht, surrounded by a group of stunning women. "I write songs," Harris (real name Adam Wiles), 32, captioned one selfie, which he shared via Snapchat, that showed him snuggling up with four stunning brunettes as the sun set on their luxury voyage. In another shot he can be seen chilling out with his buddy Emil Nava, a music video director, and John Newman, who he's working on a new song with. In case you missed it, Harris' ex Swift has moved on super speedily since splitting with the Scottish hunk, appearing to be on some kind of world tour with her new squeeze, Tom Hiddleston, who she's been smooching with in Rhode Island, Nashville, England and now Italy. And Harris' very public declaration that he's moved on from Swift comes hot on the heels of the latest photographs of his ex-flaunting her new relationship in Rome, where she toured the Colosseum walking hand in hand with her actor beau and stopped for lunch at a swanky restaurant. "Taylor is so happy," a source told Us of her new romance. "She's living a British rom-com dream." (US Weekly)

Nicolas Cage is back on the dating scene. The actor and a mystery date were spotted at sushi hotspot Asanebo in Los Angeles on Friday. Cage wore a black suit and tie with a white button up, while his date opted for a colorful Japanese kimono. Cage and the woman looked cozy together and were photographed kissing at their table. A rep for the actor confirmed to PEOPLE on Friday that the Joe star and his wife of nearly 12 years, Alice Kim, had been separated since January. The couple, who would have celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in August, share one son, Kal-el Coppola Cage, 10. Cage, 52, met Kim, 32, in February 2004 when she served him while working as a waitress in a Los Angeles restaurant. They were engaged two months later before tying the knot on a ranch in Northern California. This is Cage's third marriage: He was wed to Lisa Marie Presley for almost four months in 2002 before filing for divorce, and, prior to that, to Patricia Arquette for five years. Cage also has a 25-year-old son, Weston, from a relationship with model Christina Fulton. (People)

Despite her presence in the LGBT community, Caitlyn Jenner is unabashedly conservative. However, in a new interview with Stat, the I Am Cait star hints that Democratic presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton may be a better choice for LGBT voters, as Clinton has consistently backed the community. "I'm not excited with what Obama has done to the economy, to our Constitution, all that kind of stuff. But as far as the transgender community, they've actually been very good," Jenner said. "Everybody looks at Democrats as being better with these issues." Although the reality star touted Democrats' willingness to fight for the community, she also said that GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump may not necessarily be bad for the LGBT population. "Trump seems to be very much for women. He seems very much behind the LGBT community because of what happened in North Carolina with the bathroom issue. He backed the LGBT community," she added. "But in Trump's case, there's a lot more unknowns. With Hillary, you pretty much know what you're gonna get with the LGBT community." While she may have given the Democratic Party its props as far as the LGBT community is concerned, Jenner has remained adamant that she will not vote for Clinton-ever. In a March episode of her E! reality series, Jenner said that although her preference was for Sen. Ted Cruz, who has since dropped out of the race, she also supported Donald Trump, and would "never, ever, ever vote for Hillary." "We're done. If Hillary becomes president, the country is over," she added. Shortly after, during an appearance on the Australian radio show Rove & Sam for Breakfast, Jenner said that regardless of who the Republican candidate was, she would vote in that direction come November's general election. Former "Project Runway" winner Siriano then offered his services for the event, prompting Jones to respond, "YAAAAAASSSSSS." (Page Six)

Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving partied at Catch in New York on Monday and bought a round of shots for NBA Finals loser Klay Thompson. Spies said Irving was at the Meatpacking hot spot celebrating his team's win (still) when he heard that Golden star Thompson was upstairs on the rooftop. Spies said 6-foot-3 Irving headed to find Thompson and "bought him and his party a round of Casamigos tequila shots, giving Thompson a big hug." Our source added that Irving told Thompson, who beat him in the Finals a year ago, "It's all good, Klay! You got one already .?.?. Have some fun and celebrate with me." Irving even jokingly tried to "recruit" Thompson to Cleveland, spies said (though Thompson won't be a free agent till 2019). Irving's weathered some catty controversy during his celebratory post-championship tour. When video surfaced of him on a yacht with bikini-clad babes, some fans criticized the ladies' demographic. "Kyrie got nothing but Non-Pasteurized, Pure Lowfat Dairy on that boat," one tweeted, sparking online debate. (Page Six)

A hot man and a good cause. Scott Eastwood is working with Davidoff Cool Water to help improve the quality of the world's water. In a video the brand is sharing exclusively with Us Weekly, the actor explains how he's hoping the collaboration will bring awareness to ocean conservation. The Suicide Squad actor, 30, who is also a brand ambassador for Davidoff, is working with the fragrance company's efforts to support National Geographic's Love the Ocean campaign. "Ocean conservation is really important to me because I live by it, and see it on a daily basis," Eastwood says in the clip. "Plastic and trash -- that's where they end up ... The ocean is a giver of life. We can't ignore this problem." Clad in a skintight wetsuit, Eastwood helps clear the shoreline of beer cans, discarded plastic and other trash with California students and other local conservationists. He explains how you can help too. "Seeing the damage that all this pollution [and litter] has caused really makes me want to get out there and make a difference," Eastwood, who is the son of famed actor-director Clint Eastwood, says in the video. Crystal Pepsi Is Back and It's 1992 All Over Again. Holy Tamagotchi with a side of Gushers! Are you sick of '90s nostalgia yet!? Of course, you aren't! And thank goodness because Crystal Pepsi is back and the spirit of our childhood has never been more alive. Starting August 8, those of us in the states will get to experience the glory that is see-through Pepsi one more time. Canada can expect to see the soda hit shelves July 11 which is just not fair. If you were still a tiny BB back in the early '90s when Pepsi first blessed us with this soda, we very strongly recommend you get in on this release. It will only cost you $1.79 which means you no longer have to resort to buying ancient, undrinkable bottles for upwards of $5,000 on eBay. No joke, we saw a pack of vintage Crystal Pepsi's for that much. We told you these things were a big deal! To celebrate the relaunch of Gods gift to humanity, Pepsi is rolling out a '90s style computer game because '90s. It's called The Crystal Pepsi Trail, and as the name might sound, it's very heavily inspired by The Oregon Trail in the best way possible. Travel around in your station wagon as you experience painfully relevant obstacles like slow AOL dial-up and Tamagotchi deaths. There's even an encounter with Double Dare's Marc Summers. We can't make this stuff up people. You'll see what we mean in the video above. Thankfully the game comes out July 7, so we'll all have something '90s to do while we wait for the drink to come back into our lives. And thank GAWD because we have no idea where we would have satisfied our craving for '90s nostalgia between now and then. (Eonline)

Mobb Deep's Prodigy Goes 'Beast' Mode For Marvel's 'Black Panther' Video Series. As our hero enlists his stepmother, Ramonda, to help him run the nation, the EDM-like track blares in the background, with Prodigy intoning, "they like to turn me to a monster." Marvel has promised a new video trailer each month, with soundtracks from "some of the biggest names in the music industry." (Billboard)

The Strokes Get Caught In a Bizarre 1970s Plot in 'Threat of Joy' Video. The Strokes may have only given us a handful of new songs on their new Future Past Present EP, but so far they're fully working that title with the visuals. After tipping their hat to the 1980s with the damaged VHS tape look for the "Drag Queen" video, the band dropped another throwback clip on Tuesday with the 1970s caper clip for "Threat of Joy." Working with frequent collaborator director Warren Fu (Killers, Daft Punk), the men are dropped in the middle of a bizarre disco-era conspiracy involving the stolen film stock from the lost video for the Future lead single "OBLIVIUS," sought by some unnamed government entity. The band try to just do their thing, performing the slacker-ish rocker amid the chaos of armed SWAT soldiers and shady Wall Street scumbags wearing pig masks, counting cash and stealing the film reels. Mix in a hippie-ish dance sequence featuring singer Julian Casablancas and well, who knows what it all means? The NYC band's last album was 2013's Comedown Machine, which came out on RCA Records. The new EP, which also features the songs "Threat of Joy" and "OBLIVIUS" (plus a remake of the latter by drummer Fabrizio Moretti) marks their first release on Casablancas' label, Cult Records. Bee Gees' Barry Gibb Signs With Columbia Records. Gibbs' second solo album is scheduled to drop in the Fall. Columbia Records has signed Barry Gibb to a record deal and will release his second solo album in the Fall. Entitled, In the Now, all songs were written by the last surviving member of the Bee Gees and his sons Stephen and Ashley and co-produced by Gibb himself with John Merchant. "This is a dream come true for me," Gibb said in a statement. "It's a new chapter in my life. I always hoped one day that the Bee Gees would be with Columbia or indeed Sony so, it's a great joy for me to start again this way with such great people." Gibb released his first solo album in 1984, although along the way he had a few false starts at other solo projects. The Hall of Fame inducted singer also produced and wrote music for other artists including Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton and Dionne Warwick. But Gibb is most renowned for his work with the Bee Gees, which have sold tens of millions of albums, most of which were released through Polydor and Atco. Nielsen Music alone, credit the band with 10.3 million album scans and 6.5 million track scans since its inception in 1991. "I will never forget my brothers, they will always be a part of everything I do," Gibb said in a statement. Our dream came true." The legendary artist returned to live performing in 2013-2014 with the Mythology Tour, which celebrated the Bee Gees anthology release. (Billboard)

James Cameron Disses J.J. Abrams: Star Wars: The Force Awakens Lacked "Visual Imagination." James Cameron has dissed fellow director J.J. Abrams. Cameron was asked about Star Wars: The Force Awakens during an interview with YouTuber Keely Stinner. As it turned out, he had recently discussed the latest installment with the series' original director, George Lucas. "I have to say that I felt that George's group of six films had more innovative visual imagination, and this film was more a retrenchment to things you had seen before and characters you had seen before," he said of J.J. Abrams' blockbuster, which is the third highest-grossing film ever behind his own Avatar and Titanic. "It took a few baby steps forward with new characters. So, for me, the jury is out. I want to see where they go with it." Earlier in the interview, however, Cameron admitted that he has "a lot of respect" for Abrams. Abrams has not publicly addressed Cameron's comments. Though Star Wars: The Force Awakens didn't wow Cameron, he knows it's a force to be reckoned with at the box office. In fact, that's one of the reasons why he delayed the release of his four Avatar sequels, which will hit theaters in 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2023. "My original plan was to release them a year apart, but we're opening that up. If for no other reason than that I don't want to land on the same date as one of the Star Wars sequels," he said in April. "That wouldn't be fair to them. No, that's just good business. I don't want to go head-to-head with Star Wars. That would be stupid. And hopefully they won't want to go head-to-head with us." Cameron's candor came as a bit of a surprise, given that in January, Avatar 2's theatrical release date was bumped from December 2017 to December 2018. At the time, 20th Century Fox declined to comment on speculation that the move was related to Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm deciding to shift Star Wars: Episode VIII's release from May 2017 to December 2017. Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he hasn't ruled out the idea of returning to the role that led to his international fame, if the script was right. In an interview with Radio Times, the Harry Potter star admitted he would return to the film if the opportunity came up in the future. "The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary" he told the publication. "But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo (in Star Wars), and look what happened there." Although the 26 year-old insisted that his answer was "no for now", he made it clear that he was "leaving room to back track in the future" which quite frankly, is good enough for us! The British actor, who appeared in all eight Harry Potter films, will soon be seen playing a card sharp magician in Now You See Me 2, a sequel to the first movie released in 2013 about a team of illusionist who use their talents to rob banks. In the new film out in UK cinemas on 4 July, Radcliff will be playing the son of the character played by Sir Michael Caine in the original. (British Glamour)

Daniel Radcliffe Will Return to Harry Potter -- If the Script Is Star Wars-Level Amazing. Daniel Radcliffe hung up his Hogwarts robe more than six years ago, but the actor recently revealed that he may someday unpack it from storage -- if the reprisal was as good as, say, the latest Star Wars movie. "The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary," Radcliffe said in an interview with Radio Times. "But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo, and look what happened there." Ford famously retreated from the Star Wars universe until returning to the franchise for Episode VII, and Radcliffe's taking a page out of his book: "I'm saying 'no' for now but leaving room to backtrack in the future," he explained. Radcliffe clarified that such a decision "would depend on the script." His signature role is currently occupied by Jamie Parker, who plays an adult Harry in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which officially opens at London's Palace Theater on July 30. J.K. Rowling co-wrote the play. Radcliffe himself has been busy with leading roles in three films this year, including Now You See Me 2, currently in theaters. (Eonline)

'Trolls' Trailer: Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick Butt Heads as '90s Toys. "So you're going to scrapbook them to freedom?!" Dreamworks released a new trailer for Trolls on Wednesday morning, and it's a thorough introduction to its characters based on the popular '90s toys. It turns out Justin Timberlake is Branch, a dark-haired recluse who keeps his distance from Anna Kendrick's pink-haired Poppy, the leader of the Trolls. "It's not her fault she's so insanely happy," explains Timberlake. "She's just never faced a real problem -- until now." After a slew of their tribe is stolen away, the two pair up for an adventure that sees them butting heads and, yes, making a cloud rain. James Corden, Gwen Stefani, Russell Brand, Jeffrey Tambor and Christina Baranski are also featured in the star-studded voice cast of the animated feature. (Hollywood Reporter)

U.K. Box Office: 'Secret Life of Pets' Wins as Revenue Share Rises Despite Brexit-Driven Pound Drop. 'Independence Day: Resurgence' had to settle for the second spot in a week where the overall dollar takings were the biggest international market share of the year so far. Despite Friday being declared "Independence Day" by several Brexit campaigners who had been pushing for the U.K. to leave the European Union, the film's long-awaited sequel had to settle for second spot in the box office. Fox's sci-fi return Independence Day: Resurgence took home $7.3 million on its opening weekend across more than 1,000 screens, but fell some way short of the top spot. With a 42 percent share of the overall box office, Universal's The Secret Life of Pets dominated proceedings, grossing $13.4 million, including previews, making it the biggest original animation film opening of all time in the U.K.. Excluding previews, its three-day weekend of $8.1 million is the fourth-biggest original animation opening behind Inside Out, Monsters Inc. and Up. Thanks to the combined force of ID2 and Pets, the U.K. managed to overcome any potential lost revenue following the Brexit vote, which saw 10 percent shaved off the value of the pound compared to the dollar. In figures from Rentrak/Comscore, the U.K.'s cumulative figure of $27.7 million over the weekend actually gave it a 13 percent share of the international market, its biggest of the year so far. With these two major new openings, last week's number one The Conjuring 2 was pushed to third, scaring up $2.1 million to bring it's two-week gross to $10.4. Further down, Me Before You continued its solid run, adding $900,000 to take it to $10.8 million after four weeks, while The Nice Guys rounded out the top five with $270,000 for a $4.6 million cume. This week sees the big-screen return of Patsy and Eddy in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie. (Hollywood Reporter)

HBO Just Confirmed Who Jon Snow's Father Is on Game of Thrones. When it comes to Jon Snow, [Character Name Redacted], you are the father! Game of Thrones fans hoping to avoid any possible spoilers after the season six finale, look away now! Why? Because HBO just revealed who Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) real father is after his birth mother was confirmed in the June 26 finale. In a flashback to the Tower of Joy, a popular fan theory was proven right as Lyanna Stark, Ned's (Sean Bean), was proven to be Jon's mother, making Ned promise to look after her son on her deathbed. However, Jon's birth father was not confirmed in the scene, but many fans believed it to be Rhaegar Targaryen, who had abducted Lyanna after she was engaged to marry Robert Baratheon. And now, thanks to a handy dandy infographic created by HBO, the L+R=J theory has finally been confirmed. In the graphic, which showcases all of the different characters and relationships on the show, the two black lines, which represent parents, that lead to Jon Snow start from Lyanna and Rhaegar, confirming that he is both a Stark and Targaryen, and that Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is his aunt. But then what was Lyanna whispering to Ned that the audience COULDN'T hear?! Let's speculate in the comments, shall we? While audiences were finally brought in on the secret about Jon Snow's real parents, only one character who is still alive on the show knows the truth: Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright). And it sounds like the reveal will do nothing but complicate the battle for the Iron Throne, as Harington explained, "Thrones is really, at the heart of it, about dysfunctional families." Are you happy that we finally know who Jon's real father is? Or were you hoping it would be a big twist? (Eonline)

Jessica Williams Is Leaving The Daily Show. The Daily Show is losing another one of its key correspondents. Jessica Williams, the show's youngest correspondent ever, is walking away from the Comedy Central series after four years to focus on a project of her own at the network. Williams announced her departure in an interview with EW on Wednesday, revealing that the Thursday, June 30. "I feel so many emotions," she said. "I feel like I'm growing up and graduating." Williams' new project at the network is a still-untitled scripted half-hour series that will center on "a politically-minded young woman who may be 'woke' but doesn't know what she's doing," according to its official description. "It's a show about someone in their 20s who has all these social ideas but still, like, does not have it together," Williams said. "And she's goofy and silly and funny!" When Williams joined The Daily Show in January 2012, she was only 22 years old, making her the youngest correspondent to work on the series, as well as its first black woman in the position. She marks the first correspondent departure since Trevor Noah assumed hosting duties following Jon Stewart's retirement in 2015. Comedy Central released a statement on Williams' exit from TDS, tweeting, "Comedy Central thanks the incredible Jessica Williams for over four amazing years with The Daily Show and we couldn't be more excited that Jessica remains in the Comedy Central family as we collaborate on her upcoming pilot." Keeping Williams in the family seems especially vital for the network as the last few years has seen former correspondents John Oliver and Samantha Bee make headlines with their current shows on HBO and TBS, respectively. The Daily Show's Twitter account also shows Williams some love following her announcement, tweeting, "We'll miss you @msjwilly! Thank you for four wonderful years. #jwillennium #eatcraylove." The network followed up their initial statement with an additional tweet containing a highlight reel of Williams' work on the series, which you can check out below. Game of Thrones Bosses Confirm That Seasons 7 and 8 Will Be Shorter Than Ever Before. Winter is coming a lot sooner than any of us may be ready for. Following their explosive season six finale, Game of Thrones co-creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have made it clear that there are only but a handful of episodes left to spread across the final two seasons of their HBO hit. "It's two more seasons we're talking about. From pretty close to the beginning, we talked about doing this in 70-75 hours, and that's what we'll end up with," Benioff told Deadline. "Call it 73 for now." For those not keeping score at home, each of GoT's six seasons have been made up of 10 episodes each, bringing the series to a current total of 60 hours and leaving us with only 13-15 to hit their target. How they plan to divvy those hours up over seasons seven and eight remains a mystery, but it doesn't take the Three-Eyed Raven to see that one, if not both, will have far less episodes than we've grown accustomed to. As Benioff continued to explain, this has always been the plan. "We're trying to tell one cohesive story with a beginning, middle and end," he said. "We've known the end for quite some time and we're hurtling towards it. Those last images from the [season six finale] showed that. Daenerys is finally coming back to Westeros; Jon Snow is king of the North and Cersei is sitting on the Iron Throne. And we know the Night King is up there, waiting for all of them. The pieces are on the board now." "The thing that has excited us from the beginning, back to the way we pitched it to HBO is, it's not supposed to be an ongoing show, where every season it's trying to figure out new story lines," he continued. "We wanted it to be one giant story, without padding it out to add an extra 10 hours, or because people are still watching it. We wanted to something where, if people watched it end to end, it would make sense as one continuous story." This isn't the first time the pair have discussed their plan in the press. Prior to the season six premiere, they spoke with Variety about their endgame, admitting that the shorter episode count for the final seasons would allow them to spend more time (and, most certainly, money) on their big finish. "It's crossing out of a television schedule into more of a mid-range movie schedule," Weiss said at the time. Are you bummed that our time in Westeros is nearing its end or are you looking forward to seeing how everything wraps up? (Eonline)

There are big talent changes ahead at "Good Morning America" after the upcoming full-time arrival of Michael Strahan, TV insiders tell Page Six. We're told Strahan's hiring will tip the balance on the show, and others will have to make way for him. Sources say Lara Spencer could soon be out, while George will focus more on politics as Strahan slides into a lead anchor role. The move is the latest salvo in the morning ratings war with NBC rival "Today." ABC bosses strongly deny there are big cast moves afoot, but given the debacle of Strahan's leaving "Live With Kelly," they don't have the best track record about being upfront with their talent plans. "There are big changes coming to 'GMA,'?" an insider said. "Lara could be out, and George will be seen less at the main anchor desk with Robin Roberts. Instead, Michael will be appearing more while George focuses on politics and hard news." Strahan joins full time in September. A different source added, "Lara could be out. Amy Robach is safe. Michael doesn't want to do news -- he's not going to cover Libya or Brexit. Amy does the news well, and they need a newscaster. But Lara does human interest stories and entertainment, like Britney Spears or 'a cat in a tree' and 'my favorite pickle!' Michael wants to do all that. He does not want to do gun violence." This month, Spencer signed a production deal with Leftfield Entertainment to create and produce projects. She created HGTV show "Flea Market Flip," heading into its seventh season, and produced the network's "I Brake for Yard Sales." The source said, "Lara knows she's out. She has 'Flea Market Flip' -- and she's going to go back to that world. She knows her time is up. Michael's the star." "GMA" spokeswoman Heather Riley insisted that Strahan isn't being groomed for Stephanopoulos' seat. She said, "There is no truth to this. Of course George will be focused on politics, and no one is being groomed to take his place. Lara isn't going anywhere, and Amy will have the same important role on the show as she has for the past three years." (Page Six)

Keith Richards to Front New Julien Temple Doc for the BBC. The legendary Rolling Stones guitarist will also curate a "Lost Weekend" of programming for the broadcaster. One of rock n' roll's most enduring icons will underline his seeming inability to retire-or, indeed, sit still-with a new BBC film and a weekend of programming. Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, whose continual survival ranks up among the greatest of medical mysteries (he only gave up cocaine at age 62), will front Keith Richards - The Origin of the Species, a 60-minute film by famed rock documentarian Julien Temple (The Filth and the Fury). The film will see "Keef" return to his formative years in Britain post-WWII. For the first time on camera, he will speak about his suburban roots and the impact his generation had on popular culture. "There was a feeling late 50s'/early 60s' that there was a change coming," said Richards. "[Former U.K. prime minister] Harold Macmillan actually said it - the 'winds of change' and all that - but he didn't mean it in quite the same way. I certainly felt that for my generation, what was happening and the feeling in the air was - it's time to push limits. The world is ours now and you can rise or fall on it." Keith Richards -- The Origin of the Species will the centerpiece of the BBC's new My Generation series, a year-long season of programs which will chart the history of pop music across the decades. Temple, whose recent films have looked at music legends including The Clash, Dr. Feelgood and Ray Davies said that, "listening to the early Stones as a kid changed everything for me. I felt a new way of living emerging, a new kind of person becoming possible - something I wanted to be a part of. And without a doubt I thought Keith Richards was the Origin Of The Species." The film will be followed by Keith Richards' Lost Weekend, two nights of programming, all hand-picked by Richards, on the BBC's BBC Four network. Richards has not revealed his programming selections yet, but they could include documentaries, films or even live performances. The man himself will introduce both nights of programming, talking about the reasons behind his selections. Keith Richards - The Origin Of The Species will be exec produced by Jane Rose for Nitrate Films. The film and Keith Richards' Lost Weekend were commissioned by and executive produced for the BBC by Jan Young husband, Head of Music TV Commissioning. (Hollywood Reporter)
