In Brandon, Florida, 50-year-old Cindy Sanchez says she was just trying to be a good mom and throw her daughter a nice graduation party. That's why she held up three banks in May-- to raise money for the party. She has now pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of interfering with interstate commerce by robbery and faces up to 20 years in prison. Police arrested her after she stole $6,000 from a BB & T Bank, a Wells Fargo and Florida Central Credit Union in Brandon in less than the time it takes to deliver a pizza. Authorities said McKinnon threatened to kill one teller but wrote "Happy Mother's Day" on the hold-up note. (Sun-Sentinel)
