Hike and Splash - Lake Pleasant

Come ready to get wet and explore the shoreline! Please bring water, sunscreen, a snack, and wear water shoes that will stay on your feet (no flip flops). Old sneakers that you do not mind getting wet are OK too. This program is a fun family short hike and swim, which is very well attended in the summer months. Here is what to expect: we first fit everyone for a life vest (loaner PFDs are available at the trailhead or you may bring your own). Then we hike down to the water, put on our life vest, and enjoy a "water hike" in the water to cool us down along the shoreline. Once we are all wet and explored awhile, we will hike back up to the parking lot and be dry by the time we get there. We keep the hike very short each way and the program last about two hours. Follow the "Hike & Splash" signs once inside the park. If you have never tried "water hiking" you need to join the ranger for a fun time!
