Mila Kunis Is Pregnant! Actress and Husband Ashton Kutcher Expecting Baby No. 2. Hollywood's baby boom continues! Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are expecting their second child together, a rep for the actress confirmed to E! ews Wednesday evening. The Hollywood pair is already proud parents to a 20-month-old daughter named Wyatt Isabelle. While the announcement comes as a surprise to fans, many followers of the famous pair know that parenthood for these two has been nothing but sweet. "You think you know how much you can love another person, and then you have a child and you realize you didn't know. It's infinitely rewarding," Ashton shared with Ellen DeGeneres. "I think I really look at this as the greatest opportunity of my life." He continued, "But the most amazing thing about having a baby is my partner, Mila. She's the greatest mom -- I can't even! Like, I go to work every day and I come home and she's perfect." Not to be outdone, Wyatt's mom has definitely seen a shift in her mindset ever since she became a parent. "Everything is different, from the fact that you're so happy when you get six hours of sleep to the idea of being responsible for this incredible, living breathing little human being that you can't believe is yours," she gushed to Business Insider last October. When asked if more kids were in her future, she replied, "Not today, but yeah, absolutely. For sure!" As both parents gear up to expand their family to four, many fans can't help but admire their special bond that first began on the set of That '70s Show. "My first real kiss ever was with him on the show. And when That '70s Show had a prom, my date for the prom turned out to be my fiance. We can honestly say that we went to prom together!" Mila once shared with W Magazine. Never one to miss a joke, she later quipped, "Although I do think that in that episode I went home with someone else. We don't talk about that part." Congratulations to the couple on their happy news! People was first to report the news. (Eonline)

Taylor Swift Seen Kissing Tom Hiddleston Shortly After Calvin Harris Breakup -- Exclusive Details! It's safe to say Taylor Swift has moved on from Calvin Harris. The newly single singer, who split from the music producer roughly two weeks ago, was spotted getting cozy with actor Tom Hiddleston on the rocky beach of Misquamicut by Swift's mansion in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Photos emerged on The Sun of T. Swift and her new boyfriend enjoying a day by the water and strolling by the sand. At one point, the dating duo sat on a rock to take in the scenery, and during their casual and relaxing day together, the new lovebirds were spotted taking selfies together and even stealing a smooch! "Taylor is hanging out with Tom. Nothing serious is going on but she is talking to him," a source exclusively tells E! News. "They have been out a few times she really enjoys his company. She is not looking to jump into anything this fast, but will take things as it goes nice and slowly." Meanwhile, a source close to Harris tells us, "He just wants her to be happy, they were not a good fit." While the news of this specific pairing may seem out of the blue for some, it's not as strange as you'd think. If you can recall the Met Gala back in the beginning of May, Swift (who attended the event solo) was spotted having a dance party with Hiddleston. The two stars met that night after sitting next to each other at dinner, and as you can see in the multiple dancing GIFs, they clearly hit it off. "I love dancing, who doesn't?" Hiddleston told the Press Association in an interview after the fact. "It's a weird one [that it went viral]. I haven't actually danced for a long time, but I happened to be dancing at the Met Gala because it was a party." And it was all thanks to Taylor. "I was on a table with Taylor Swift and The Weeknd was playing and she said, 'The thing about these parties is nobody gets up to dance' and you're making music," he explained. "She, as a musician, was like, 'We've got to dance for The Weeknd' so we got up and danced." He added, "I didn't know it was going to ping round the world, but it's all good." A source recently told E! News that Swift was moving forward from her split with Harris. "Taylor is not sad anymore about the breakup," a source shared with E! News exclusively. "She knows it was for the best. They are not on bad terms. They have communicated since the breakup, but getting back together is something that's not in the cards for either of them." The insider added, "Taylor is hanging out with her friends and keeping busy. She wants to be single for a while and have a relaxing summer. She has some plans to travel this summer. Taylor has also been writing new music." Things seemed to be amicable between the exes, when Harris broke his silence about the split on Twitter, which was retweeted by Swift, except that post no longer exists. Dun, dun, dunnnn... Meanwhile, Hiddleston is preparing for a grueling shoot schedule as he's slated to jet to Australia at the beginning of next month to start production on Thor 3. Perhaps he'll have a surprise visit from someone special while shooting Down Under? We'll just have to wait and see. (Eonline)

The 27-year-old actress and her husband, Big Time Rush member Carlos PenaVega, are expecting their first child, the couple shared on Instagram Thursday. "Breaking news! It's #ClearblueConfirmed! There is going to be a new cool kid in town ... And by cool I mean dorky just like their father," Carlos, 26, wrote playfully on Instagram next to a photo of the excited couple holding up a positive pregnancy test. "A little PenaVega is on the way!!!" he adds, with the hashtags, "#ItsHappening," "#HolyWow" and "#Imgoingtobeadaddy." Alexa also took to Instagram to express the couple's joy over their announcement, with a photo depicting her husband kissing her cheek, her eyes closed blissfully, and the word "Pregnant" clearly visible on the test window. "I cannot believe I finally get to say this ... WE'RE PREGNANT!!!" she wrote. "It's #ClearblueConfirmed that a little blessing is joining the PenaVega family!!! We can't wait!!!" They were the first-ever married couple to both compete on Dancing with the Stars simultaneously, during the fall 2015 season. "If I've learned anything it's that relationships are about compromise," Alexa told PEOPLE shortly after she and Carlos became engaged. (People)

What baby bump? Jennifer Aniston put those pregnancy rumors to rest without a word on Wednesday. The actress, 47, stepped out in the Big Apple in a fitted tank top that flaunted her flat stomach. Earlier that day, photographs surfaced showing what appeared to be a fuller midriff on the onetime "Friends" star, leading to tabloid reports that she and husband Justin Theroux, 44, were expecting. Aniston's rep, Steven Huvane, firmly told Page Six, "She is not pregnant," noting that it's "just yet another false" tale. (Page Six)

Mariah Carey Updates Fans on Her Wedding Including the Search for a Perfect Dress: "We're Getting It Together." Wedding bells are ringing and Mariah Carey hears them loud and clear. As the A-list singer continues her residency inside The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, fans continue to speculate as to when the "Hero" singer and James Packer will say "I Do." While the wedding date still remains top secret, Mariah assures fans that the couple is making progress when it comes to planning. "We're getting it together, darling," she told E! News' Melanie Bromley backstage at her concert titled Mariah #1 to Infinity. "You know what? It's time. The dress and the whole thing. I'm working and he's working and everyone puts so much pressure." Perhaps one of the biggest questions surrounding the big day is whether or not Mariah has a dress to wear. We quickly learned that finding the perfect outfit can in fact be checked off the to-do list. "I have the dress," the mother-of-two shared with us exclusively. As to where this special dress is hiding? "It's in a box, darling." Wedding planning aside, Mariah couldn't help but gush over her twins she has with ex-husband Nick Cannon. Although they continue to grow up right before her eyes, the "Obsessed" singer still can't get enough of their personalities. "Really my babies, they make me laugh so much. I just want to keep it like that," she shared. "[James] is really great. He has his own kids and he's a fantastic father." Mariah's World premieres later this year only on E! (Eonline)

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are well and truly back on, and now the Hunger Games actor has opened up about the idea of babies. "I'm sure one day I will go down that road and it will feel right, yes," Liam told NW. "For now, I still feel very young and there's a lot of things to do without kids weighing in on situations. I'll leave that until later on in life." The pair called off their engagement in 2013, but have recently reunited. So with a rumored wedding on the horizon, could babies be the next step? Calvin Harris Feels "Betrayed" After Pictures of Taylor Swift Kissing Tom Hiddleston Surface. Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were spotted kissing (and are now dating!) two weeks after she and Calvin Harris broke up, and the pictures that have surfaced haven't been sitting well with the Scottish EDM DJ. In fact, the images of his ex-girlfriend cozying up to the Thor actor have made Calvin (whose real name is Adam Wiles) feel like Swift might not have been honest with him, a source tells E! News. "Calvin was very suspicious that Taylor was cheating during their relationship. He just didn't know with whom," the source tells us. "He feels like these pictures confirm his suspicions, and it changes everything. He is so angry and feels betrayed. He is convinced that Taylor was cheating with Tom while they were still together." But a source close to Swift tells E! News that there was absolutely no cheating. Another source adds that they were not flirting at all at a MET Gala after-party, where they were spotted dancing. When Harris and Swift first broke up they appeared to be on the same page -- that is, they were going to keep it amicable. Harris broke his silence on the split on Twitter, writing, "The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect." Swift echoed his sentiments by retweeting his post, but Wednesday all traces of T. Swift disappeared from Calvin's social media, and Calvin disappeared from the "Style" singer's accounts -- including the statement. So what does that mean for their friendly exes status? "They had hoped to be friendly but Calvin wants nothing to do with her now," the Calvin insider tells us. As for Swift's feelings, the source close to her adds that by the end of their relationship she had felt "rejected by Calvin." "She wanted to feel special again," the source tells us. "She likes Tom a lot and is excited about being with him." (Eonline)

If only he could make cancer disappear. Criss Angel has been praying for a miracle since his 2-year-old son, Johnny Sarantakos, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last October. But there is finally some good news. "Johnny is technically in remission, thank God," the famed illusionist (born Christopher Sarantakos) reveals in an emotional interview in the new issue of Us Weekly. "I believe he will be healed." Though the little boy, who the magician shares with ex-wife Shaunyl Benson, has beaten back the disease, Angel, 48, tells Us that Johnny is still undergoing intense chemotherapy treatments, blood transfusions and spinal taps in Australia, where Johnny lives with his mom. "What doctors found is you have to continue treatment to kill all the cells, as there is no guarantee," the star of Luxor casino's Mindfreak Live! In Las Vegas explains. According to the National Cancer Institute, "Remission means that the signs and symptoms of ... cancer are reduced." Some doctors consider patients cured when all signs and symptoms have disappeared and remain that way for five or more years. Despite the difficult treatments, Johnny is still a smiley boy. In a March photo that Angel shared of his son, the handsome little man flashes an adorable grin for the camera as a red toy truck sits in front of him. "Our brave strong boy going through what no child should ever have to," Angel captioned the image on Instagram. His son's battle against the disease has led the illusionist to become a champion for cancer research. His September 12 benefit show and auction at the Luxor, Heal Every Life Possible, aims to raise $1 million to help fund research for cures for pediatric cancer. The event will feature performances or appearances by Angel himself, Cirque Du Soleil, Blue Man Group, Wayne Newton, Jerry Lewis and many more. For more on Johnny's fight against cancer and how it has changed Angel, pick up the new issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now. (US Weekly)

Pink Slams Her Instagram Hackers: "Your Parents Must Be Really Proud of You." Pink's recent comments to her Instagram hackers are just like fire. Never one to mince words, the Grammy winner took to Twitter to share some strongly worded remarks aimed at hackers who recently attacked her Instagram account. "To the a--holes that just hacked my private IG account.... Your parents must be really proud of you," she wrote. "That's your contribution to the world?" It was clear that the singer was not in the mood to be messed with. After sending out the initial tweet, her statement was met with some flack from fans, one writing, "it's not the end of the world" and "get over it." Pink was not in the mood. "I don't remember asking you," she quipped back. The remarks continued to spark a flurry of fan response, a handful of which Pink answered directly. However, after a bit, the mom decided to put the tweeting to rest for the day. "Welp, I do love the socks off of most of you. The rest of you unhappy f--kers? Good luck with all of that," she concluded. "And I'm out." This is certainly not the first time the outspoken star has told the public precisely how she feels. Last spring, she was the subject of attack by fans who thought she gained weight and were criticizing her for it. "I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight," the "Try" singer tweeted in April 2015. "You're referring to the pictures of me from last night's cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you. While I admit that the dress didn't photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful." "So, my good and concerned peoples, please don't worry about me. I'm not worried about me. And I'm not worried about you either," Pink concluded. "I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off. Thanks for your concern." (Eonline)

Nearly two years have passed since Joan Rivers' unexpected death, and now her daughter Melissa is sharing her mom's most private possessions with the world. "She was always adamant that even your finest things should be used and loved and not just in the bank vault or storage," Melissa tells PEOPLE exclusively in this week's issue. The collection includes everything from the legendary comedian's coveted jewelry to furniture and floor-length gowns, all available at Christie's in New York City June 16–23, with some proceeds benefiting charity. Though it was always Joan's wish to share her belongings with people, the process wasn't easy for Melissa, 48. "At first I said, 'I'm not getting rid of anything. I'm keeping everything!'" she says. "But little by little you start to weed through it. Now I want someone else to love her things and enjoy them." Melissa hand-selected each item up for sale, but says many things will always stay within the family. Among them: heirlooms, art and the "good dishes"-but also personal items. "I kept her toothbrush cup. I kept the stuff from her night table. I kept the stuff from the side of her bathtub. I kept strange things like that," she says. (People)

In Bill Cosby's latest attempt to get his sexual assault case dismissed, a Pennsylvania judge has scheduled a hearing for July 7, according to court documents. Judge Steven T. O'Neill also ordered prosecutors to file a response to Cosby's arguments that the case should be thrown out because at his preliminary hearing last month, his accuser, Andrea Constand, was not present, which would have allowed Cosby with "an opportunity to confront and cross-examine" her, according to court papers. Instead, a detective read Constand's statements she gave authorities in January 2005. This is the latest in Cosby's many efforts to get a criminal sexual assault case against him dropped. Judge ruled in May that Cosby will stand trial for the alleged 2004drugging and sexual assault of Constand, a former Temple University employee. Cosby denies her allegations (as well as similar ones from more than 50 women) and says the sexual contact was consensual. But Constand, who is gay and was in a relationship with a woman at the time, says it was not. O'Neill also scheduled a September 6 pre-trial conference for the case, according to court documents. Christina Grimmie's killer was on a mission to make himself so appealing she couldn't resist him, and when it didn't work he changed his plan to kill her ... this according to his former co-workers. Various people who worked with Kevin Loibl tell TMZ his infatuation with Christina was boundless. He went on a mission to change his appearance for her and, toward the end, got hair transplants and Lasik eye surgery. He also went vegan to lose weight. He would also listen to her music at work and vow she would someday be his wife. Loibl's Best Buy co-workers say he went to one of Christina's shows in March and hinted that he actually met her. The co-workers also say the Geek Squad killer claimed to have played online games with the singer. A source close to the singer, however, tells us Christina never had contact with Loibl. And there's this. The co-workers say they teased Loibl that he would never score because Christina had a boyfriend ... her producer. That relationship was never public, but pictures of Christina and the guy together on social media made it pretty clear ... they were together. We're told that enraged Loibl. That rage was vented last Friday after Christina's show, when he shot her in the head and then killed himself. (TMZ)

Former Miss USA Contestant Samantha Edwards Found Dead at Age 37. Samantha Edwards, Miss North Dakota USA 2003 and a Miss USA 2003 pageant contestant, has died. She was 37. The body of the beauty queen, a native of Fargo, ND, was found inside her house in Minneapolis Tuesday morning, police said, adding that the cause of her death remains under investigation. A friend of Edwards, Miss Minnesota USA 2004 Jessica Dereschuk, started a GoFundMe page, with her sister Gwen's permission, to help cover funeral and other expenses, including money to help take care of the beauty queen's beloved dachshund, Peanut. She said Edwards, who went by "Sami," was "one of the most vibrant, crazy, compassionate, loyal balls of energy you could ever come across in life." "A conversation with her could either leave you full of adrenaline or utterly exhausted," she wrote. "She was a spitfire and with Sami you never knew what she'd throw your way -- but you ALWAYS knew she would be there for you. She was awesome like that." "I never got to meet Sami's family," she added. "Which is so crazy to me as I feel like I know them from all the stories and conversations we shared. She loved her mom and sister so deeply, those were her girls. When she would talk about her brother, she beamed with pride." Dereschuk said Edwards left a "positive mark on this world and in my life." "And I will continue to live life with passion and love because I know that is what you would want," she wrote. "I will see you again my beautiful friend......." After competing in the Miss USA pageant, Edwards went on to attend the Aveda Institute, a cosmetology school in Minneapolis, and the University of North Dakota. In recent years, she worked as a freelance makeup artist. A tribute to Edwards was also posted on the Facebook page of the Miss USA pageant. "We are saddened by the sudden loss of Samantha Edwards, Miss North Dakota USA 2003," the post read. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. She will forever be a part of this organization." (Eonline)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

An Orlando Victim's Grandmother Got a Heartwarming Surprise During Her JetBlue Flight. People across the world have united in solidarity to stand against the violence and tragic events that occurred at Pulse nightclub in Orlando over the weekend when a mass shooting claimed the lives of 49 people, and the heartwarming gestures that have followed continue to touch those who need it most. A JetBlue attendant took to Facebook to share an inspiring story involving the grandmother of Luis Omar Ocasio-Capo, a victim whose life was taken the night of the shooting. Kelly Davis Karas shared that Omar's grandmother was on the flight to Orlando "to join her family during this unspeakable time," and the JetBlue team wanted to make sure her solo travels were as comfortable as possible. "Melinda stood quietly by her wheelchair while we waited until it was time to board. Kellie, the gate agent, boarded with her and helped get her settled. Melinda and I gave her a blanket, a pillow, a box of tissues and water so she could be as comfortable as possible. She was understandably distraught, but met us with kindness and gentleness. And gratitude," she wrote. But that wasn't enough. The JetBlue attendants decided to secretly pass a paper around to passengers on the plane in hopes of compiling some sweet notes to hand to the mourning grandmother. What happened was even better. "When we gathered them together to present them to her, we didn't have just a sheet of paper covered in names, which is what I had envisioned. Instead, we had page after page after page after page of long messages offering condolences, peace, love and support. There were even a couple of cash donations, and more than a few tears," she wrote. "When we landed, I made an announcement that the company had emailed to us earlier in the morning to use as an optional addition to our normal landing announcement, which states 'JetBlue stands with Orlando.' Then with her permission and at the request of a couple of passengers, we offered a moment of silence in Omar's memory." Karas continued, "As we deplaned, EVERY SINGLE PERSON STOPPED TO OFFER HER THEIR CONDOLENCES. Some just said they were sorry, some touched her hand, some hugged her, some cried with her. But every single person stopped to speak to her, and not a single person was impatient at the slower deplaning process. "I am moved to tears yet again as I struggle to put our experience into words. In spite of a few hateful, broken human beings in this world who can all too easily legally get their hands on mass assault weapons - people ARE kind. People DO care. And through our customers' humanity today, and through the generosity of this wonderful company I am so grateful to work for, I am hopeful that someday soon we can rally together to make the world a safer place for all. I will never forget today." Want to help? Equality Florida, the state's largest LGBT rights group, launched a GoFundMe campaign for the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting. (Eonline)

Jake Gyllenhaal was seen trying to take out more than just food at Bar Pitti this week. A spy said the "Everest" star was at the Village eatery getting a to-go order when something -- or, rather, someone -- delicious caught his eye. "Jake was trying to pick up a girl eating dinner alone at Bar Pitti," said a source. The woman was "here on a business trip, eating by herself, pasta and burrata salad. He was picking up an order and sat down with her for half an hour chatting her up." But, "She told him she had a boyfriend!" (Page Six)

Uninvited guests tried to get close to Goop guru Gwyneth Paltrow at a country-club-themed bash in LA on Tuesday. But Paltrow didn't even notice the raucous gawkers. Spies said that security escorted "a few unwanted guests out" of a private party at an estate in a gated community after the crashers tried to sneak in by jumping over a wall into a backyard. "They were trying to catch a glimpse of Gwyneth, who somehow didn't notice the entire incident," said a spy. The party was for Svedka's Cucumber Lime vodka concoction. We hear prissy Paltrow was there as a pal of the home's anonymous owner. (Page Six)

Is Lupita Nyong'o Acting Like A Diva On Broadway?! See The Allegations About 'Pissed' Fans & Investors HERE! Say it ain't so! Lupita Nyong'o just seemed so sweet and earnest when she won her Oscar. That's why we're REALLY hoping these latest reports about the 12 Years A Slave actress being a diva during her Broadway show Eclipsed are NOT true! A source recently told Page Six that Lupita has been causing some drama by missing shows and even unofficially requesting days off! The inside revealed: "Wednesdays are her days off, but there was never an announcement, so fans are pissed when they come to the show and she's not there." Apparently some of the excuses even include things like "exhaustion or 'I have a sore toe'"! It's also not making people too happy that Lupita has been seen hanging out with Misty Copeland on her days off which has apparently frustrated investors as well. The source revealed: "They were banking on her fame and have not seen a return. The most disrespectful thing is taking off every Wednesday while being seen hanging out with Misty. If you're too tired to work, stay in bed." Another source dished that Nyong'o: "... hasn't hustled ... Tony voters are coming to see her. Fans fly in to see her. This isn't Hollywood, and she's bringing her movie-star privilege to Broadway." However, the actress does have some people in her corner as another source close to the 33-year-old said: "She's maybe missed a show or two because she was sick and lost her voice, but she was never expected to appear in Wednesday-evening shows. This is her passion project that she is dedicated to and proud of." That sounds more like the Lupita we know and love! In fact, another insider came to the star's defense in regards to investors being displeased, saying: "They produced a show with a very difficult subject matter, so the box office may not be what they want it to be, but you can't put that on Lupita. The amount of publicity she's done, I don't think she could've done more." Though there hasn't been any word from Miz Nyong'o's camp, we wouldn't be surprised if this was just a couple people that were somehow rubbed the wrong by the Hollywood star. (Perez Hilton)

What Amber Heard Testifying Against Johnny Depp Means--For Her, For Him, For Their Divorce and For the Millions of People Watching. Amber Heard is planning to testify Friday in court, when a judge will hear arguments on whether or not to extend Heard's order of protection against Johnny Depp. On May 27, several days after filing for divorce from Depp after 15 months of marriage, Heard obtained a temporary restraining order against her future ex-husband, alleging that he'd been abusive throughout their relationship. And the story has been spiraling out of control ever since. Regardless of what did or did not happen behind closed doors, Heard's been the one who's gotten the brunt of the criticism on social media, with scores of Depp fans (or just Heard naysayers) lining up to accuse her of being a gold-digger, a liar and worse. At the same time, however, media outlets have published photographs of Heard's face sporting injuries purported to be inflicted by Depp, and some of those closest to her -- including her former longtime girlfriend, Tasya van Ree, and good friend iO Tillett Wright -- have spoken out to lend their support. In an essay for Refinery 29, Wright wrote about witnessing the toll that abuse was taking on Heard and calling 911 on her behalf "because she never would." Meanwhile, Depp's exes and his 17-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, rallied to his defense; a friend of his published an essay accusing Heard of blackmail (Heard has since sued him for defamation); and his lawyer argued in her response to Heard's TRO filing that the actress was looking for a quick financial resolution. The Pirates of the Caribbean star's rep stated that Depp wouldn't be responding to any of the "salacious false stories" swirling about his personal life and was hoping the "dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly." All the while, Depp was in Europe playing with his band Hollywood Vampires and, according to People, he headed to his private island in the Bahamas last week to decompress. "He wants to see his kids, but otherwise he isn't looking forward to returning [to L.A.]. He doesn't seem too worried about court though. He has an excellent lawyer who is taking care of things," a source told the magazine. Speaking of which, Depp's camp unsuccessfully petitioned last Friday to have Heard sit for a deposition immediately, but sources have confirmed to E! News that she does plan on taking the stand this Friday in court, and that will include being questioned by Depp's attorney. Heard withdrew her request for $50,000 a month in spousal support in an effort to reiterate that her allegations are not about money; and though her lawyer petitioned to compel Depp's appearance, he is not required to show up in person. His attorney then filed a motion Wednesday to exclude all non-party testimony at the hearing, meaning testimony from anyone other than Heard. And this is just a brief summary that scratches the surface of the back-and-forth from sources, the countless headlines (both new and old ones dredged up to muddy the waters) and the focus on Johnny and Amber's every move that has been non-stop for the past four weeks. But though the case has been tried and retried in the court of public opinion already, what actually happens now in the real, live legal court, where actual decisions are made? "I don't think the publicity will impact how the judge will rule," says marital and family attorney Mitch Karpf, of Young Berman Karpf & Gonzalez based in Weston, Fla. "The bigger problem is how celebrities who are dealing with a very private, emotional issue" also have careers very much reliant on public opinion, and these factors merge together. In any case there would be reporters and mass public interest in the case, "yet when you're dealing with an issue such as domestic violence, if it actually occurred, it's got such an impact, psychologically, on people." "That's one of the problems I see happening with this, it may not even matter what the judge does," lawyer Brian Karpf, who along with dad Mitch specializes in high net-worth and high-profile family law issues (neither is involved with Depp and Heard's divorce case), also tells E! News. If Depp refuses to speak up on his own behalf, "the public at large, they're not familiar with the legal system, and they're going to view that as guilt. On the plus side, if he doesn't testify and his legal team is able to disprove Amber Heard's claims, then the public thinks, 'Hey, she's just doing this to gain a monetary advantage.'" As mentioned, Heard withdrew her immediate request for spousal support, and Brian Karpf agreed that was the right decision if she really wanted to bring attention back to the issue at hand. As for Depp's petition to stop others besides Heard from testifying, Los Angeles-based attorney Troy Slaten tells E! News that the actor's lawyer is trying to ward off any surprises in court. "There are not supposed to be any 'Perry Mason' moments in court. That means no surprises," Slaten says. "Both sides to a lawsuit are supposed to know, prior to a trial, the evidence that the other side wishes to introduce. This means that, at a minimum, you're supposed to know what witnesses will be called and what those witnesses will say... [Depp's attorney, Laura Wasser] is also saying that if the witnesses are not allowed to testify, the court should also not consider the declarations from those witnesses that were submitted to the court in her original request for a temporary restraining order." Heard's petition included a supporting declaration from her friend and neighbor in the downtown Los Angeles penthouse where she and Depp lived together. Police were called to the building Monday, reportedly after some of Depp's bodyguards showed up and started moving clothing and some other items out of the house. Slaten says, however, that "courts are allowed to accept hearsay evidence [i.e. the friend's declaration] but are supposed to give it the appropriate weight that it deserves. Live testimony, live witnesses are always preferred because it gives the opposing side an opportunity to cross-examine and gives the court an opportunity to judge the candor and demeanor and veracity and body language of a witness." Moreover, "if the witnesses on her behalf are precluded from testifying, that leaves Amber and her credibility the only thing for the court to consider." And so all eyes will be on Amber Heard. "Very often the testimony of the protected party is the best and most persuasive evidence available. Sometimes it is the only evidence," says Margaret Bayston, executive director of Laura's House, a domestic violence shelter in Orange County, Calif., where women can also get counseling and legal support. "We often tell our clients that they are the world's foremost expert on this issue because they lived through it and nobody else can tell the story to the judge better than they can. "Obviously this is not a decision any client takes lightly and, as you know, it takes immense courage to step up and tell the most intimate and traumatic details of their lives in a courtroom full of strangers. The fact that the restrained party is sitting a few feet away from them just adds to the stress and trauma of the situation." There's been no sign that Depp has left the Bahamas, where he reportedly was as of last Friday, or has otherwise headed to Los Angeles yet to either appear in court or at least be in town; but Mitch Karpf says that, strategically at least, it would be a good idea for him to be nearby if it turns out that his physical presence would help his case in any way. "If they could have settled this by now, they would have," says Brian Karpf. If the judge grants Heard's request to make the restraining order permanent (it would expire in three years), "Johnny needs to go into damage control mode," he says. "Your career is really on the line. I wouldn't be surprised if you see him enrolling in batterer intervention courses." And whatever the judge does Friday, Brian predicts the divorce itself "will go away very, very quickly with an undisclosed settlement." Bayston says that such cases often aren't resolved after one hearing, and if the proceedings are continued the TRO will be reissued -- meaning Depp will still be required to stay at least 100 yards away from Heard and refrain from trying to directly contact her in any way. Asked about what at least seems to be a rare confluence of these types of allegations combined with this level of celebrity, Mitch Karpf tells E! News, "We don't see much of it, but it probably goes on as much or more than with the average public at large. Most of the time they're successful at sweeping it under the rug for these very reasons." "We see the average person who might be going through this and it's traumatic and gut-wrenching, the whole family is thrown apart," he says. "When you add on that you've got the whole world watching and judging and commenting, that's a lot of pressure for everyone, including the lawyers trying the case." "One of them is going to be accused of being severely in the wrong here," says Brian Karpf says. Mitch Karpf acknowledges that there are cases when people lie about such things in order to gain leverage in a divorce, "and that's despicable, any way you look at it." He also says that this is an awfully traumatic process for Heard to put herself through if she were not telling the truth. "Knowing that she has so much to lose, knowing about the public scrutiny and everything else, one has to think why would she bring such an accusation -- to risk all of that -- unless something really bad happened?" he says. "And if it did, her standing up to do the right thing, perhaps sending a message to other women to fight, takes a lot of courage." Adds Bayston, "In a high-profile case like this one, the victim has the added challenge of knowing that everything she says and does will be scrutinized in the media afterwards. "I certainly have never heard of any victim who would willingly put themselves through this kind of tortuous experience willingly." (Eonline)

Lil Wayne Returns to the Stage to Perform Following Seizures. Lil Wayne is already back on his feet after suffering two seizures Monday. The "Forever" rapper performed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo Wednesday only two days after his plane had to make an emergency landing because of his health scare. Based on video footage, the 33-year-old rapper appeared to be feeling better as he worked his way through the crowd smiling. After Lil Wayne was released from the hospital, his rep told E! News that he was on the mend. "We can confirm that he did experience two minor seizures yesterday. Under the guidance of his own doctors, he is now in stable condition and good spirits," his rep said. "He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers and well wishes." The good news excited fans, but the rapper made everyone even more relieved when he broke his silence after the medical emergency. "Thx for the prayers!! I love y'all!" he tweeted. The "How to Love" rapper was flying from Milwaukee, Wis., to California when he had to make an emergency landing in Nebraska. Omaha Airport Authority confirmed to E! News that it received a medical divert call around 2:36 p.m. local time. When ambulance and the rescue fire department responded, the party involved refused treatment. The plane departed after authorities terminated the response 30 minutes after the initial call came in. But E! News later learned that the jet arrived again at 3:56 p.m. where the passenger on board was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The passenger walked off the plane on his own accord. Lil Wayne revealed a few years ago that he has epilepsy and is "prone to seizures." We're glad to see you're feeling better, Lil Wayne! (Eonline)

Fetty Wap did a mea culpa after his rap video got a school principal benched. The remorseful rapper took the mic Wednesday night at a Paterson, NJ school board meeting in the wake of the suspension of the principal who let him film at the high school he attended. Here's a First Look at Tupac's 'All Eyez On Me' Biopic. On what would have been late rap great Tupac Shakur's 45th birthday Thursday (June 16), the trailer for the West Coast legend's forthcoming biopic All Eyez On Me has surfaced. Earlier this year, director Benny "Boom" Douglas told Billboard that the film would tackle the lyricist's life as well as his encounters with racism and role in the highly publicized East Coast/West Coast beef with Notorious B.I.G. "[Racism] is a vicious cycle, and Tupac was a victim of that; he witnessed police brutality," Boom said. "It's not just a biopic about a musician: It's about a revolutionary. It's the story of a martyr, someone who died for his cause." In the teaser, an FBI raid is shown as the voice of Walking Dead star Danai Gurira -- who plays Pac's late mother Afeni Shakur -- says, "son this ain't just about you. Like all black men, you have a bullseye on your back." The teaser also features footage of Demetrius Shipp, Jr., as Shakur performing on-stage before adoring fans. The cast of All Eyez on Me also includes Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett and Jamal Woolard as Biggie. The film is slated to hit theaters on November 11, two months after the 20th anniversary of Shakur's death. (Billboard)

Recording Academy Embraces Streaming with Changes to Grammy Rules. The organization also modernizes its Rap, R&B and Blues awards categories. As streaming music approaches its cultural tipping point, the music industry has quickly taken notice. And next year, the Grammys will finally embrace streaming, too. Today, the Recording Academy announced that streaming-only releases will now be eligible for consideration for Grammy nominations, one of five big changes that will be implemented immediately. The 59th annual Grammy Awards are set to take place Feb. 12, 2017. "Our trustees felt like the time had come; it's been on our radar for a couple of years now," said Recording Academy SVP of Awards Bill Freimuth about the change in attitude away from retail-only releases. "The goal was to include recordings that were worthy of Grammy consideration that were streaming-only -- which it turns out were a pretty small number -- and exclude the 12-year-old singing a Beyonce cover into her comb that's easy to put up online also these days for streaming." That distinction comes in a tweak to the Academy's definition of "general distribution," which had previously been defined as "sales by label to a branch or recognized independent distributor, via the internet, or mail order/retail sales for a nationally marketed product." The new language expands that definition to include "applicable streaming services," which themselves are qualified as "paid subscription, full catalogue, on-demand streaming/limited download platforms that have existed as such within the United States for at least one full year as of the submission deadline." Under the new guidelines, any recording released to at least one of the "majors" of the space -- Spotify (due to its paid tier), Apple Music, Tidal or Google Play, for example -- would qualify as a release in general distribution. Recordings released exclusively via Pandora, which has not yet launched an on-demand service, or Soundcloud Go, which only debuted at the end of March and would not have a full year under its belt by the Sept. 30 cutoff, would not be eligible; similarly, smaller genre-specific streamers would not pass the "full catalogue" litmus test. YouTube-only releases are also ineligible, as would mixtapes released for free via sites such as Datpiff or LiveMixtapes that are not also available elsewhere. "We think that [language] is actually a key to making this work for us and should really accomplish that goal of making sure that the artists who, I guess primarily for philosophical reasons, are releasing through streaming only, that they're eligible while excluding still most, if not all, the amateur recordings," Freimuth said. The streaming news will be welcome to artists such as Chance the Rapper, whose fervent calls for the Academy to consider free music was backed up by his latest release, Coloring Book, which became the first ever streaming-only release to chart on the Billboard 200 in May. Coloring Book, which debuted at No. 8 with all of its 38,000 equivalent album units coming from 57.3 million first-week streams, remained an Apple Music exclusive for two weeks before being released wide to Spotify, Tidal and other services. The rule amendment will make Chance eligible for Grammy consideration for the first time as a lead artist. As streaming becomes the dominant music consumption platform -- it became the biggest single source of revenue for the U.S. music industry in 2015, according to the RIAA -- the battle between services over exclusive releases and windowing has heated up, particularly between Apple Music and Tidal. But a hypothetical non-windowed, streaming-only exclusive for a single service -- for instance, if Chance had never released Coloring Book wide and kept it on Apple Music in perpetuity -- would still be eligible under the general distribution guidelines. "We actually had a lot of discussion about that," Freimuth said, noting that Walmart retail exclusives were eligible in the past. "We feel that that thinking is consistent with precedent." The streaming switch is just one of four announced changes. In a similar move to reflect the changing nature of the industry, the Best New Artist guidelines have removed the necessity for an artist to have released an album within the eligibility period. Instead, the new rules say an artist "must have released a minimum of five singles/tracks or one album, but no more than 30 singles/tracks or three albums." And there's a tweak to the Rap field as well, as Best Rap/Sung Collaboration is amended to Best Rap/Sung Performance, a change intended to make the category more inclusive and allow for not just collaborations, but also for solo tracks that blur the line between singing and rapping. "The artist that I hear most often in reference to this is Drake," Freimuth said. "He does a lot of singing and rapping together as a single artist, and if we required it to be collaboration, well, it can't be Drake featuring Drake. They would have to listen closely as to whether it was predominantly singing or predominantly rapping as to whether it would go into the R&B or Rap [fields]. And now it's a much more comfortable fit." Additionally, the number of categories that Recording Academy members are allowed to vote for decreased from 20 to 15 (not counting the four main general categories), a move the organization said in a press release is geared to "encourage members to vote only in those categories in which they are most knowledgeable, passionate, and qualified." And the Best Blues Album award has been split in two, one for Best Traditional Blues Album and one for Best Contemporary Blues Album. "The process for the changes is one of the elements of the overall process of which I'm proudest, because it keeps us as current and as relevant as we can and it keeps the process dynamic," Freimuth added. "We're happy about that and we're glad to make changes every year." (Billboard)

Melissa Etheridge Releases 'Pulse,' Moving Tribute to Orlando Victims: 'Love Will Always Win'. While many celebrities have reacted to the shocking murder of 49 people at Orlando's gay nightclub Pulse with thoughts, prayers and love, Melissa Etheridge did what comes naturally to her: she wrote a song. The out rocker released "Pulse" on Wednesday, an urgent, emotional anthem with a simple, powerful message that seeks to find unity where some would look to divide: "I am human, I am love/ And my heart beats in my blood/ Love will always win, underneath the skin/ Everybody's got a pulse." Commenting on an act that has been tagged as both terrorism and an attack on the LGBTQ community, Etheridge's song falls firmly in the tradition of such folk forbearers as Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie by taking events ripped from the headlines and putting a universal, human face on them. "Everybody's got a pain inside/ Imaginary wounds they fight to hide/ How can I hate them, when everybody's got a pulse?," Etheridge sings in her signature rasp on the song you can listen to on Rolling Stone. She told The Advocate that she penned the track while on tour because she was moved by both the tragedy and people's reaction to it. "I found myself roaming around my apartment," she told the gay publication. "I knew that would make me feel better, and I just started writing... I get so moved by so many things, not just the sadness of tragedy. I also get moved by how we react. Unfortunately, it takes a hideous event like this, but sometimes it brings people together and moves others who might have been like, 'That gay thing is not anything I'm concerned about.' It moves them and they think, I have to stand on the side of love and peace." At one point in the four-and-a-half minute track she appears to address the 29-year-old shooter, who also injured 53 during the hours-long spree on Sunday, asking, "Who you gonna hate now?/ When there's no one left but you?/ Who you gonna gun down?/ If you can't kill the truth that it's inside of us/ Inside our blood, inside our pulse." After recording the song Etheridge said she found out that one of the women killed in the shooting, bouncer Kimberly Morris, was from Torrington, Connecticut, where the songwriter was slated to play on Wednesday night. At the show, she dedicated "Pulse" to Morris. Etheridge will offer the song for sale soon, with proceeds going to Equality Florida. (Billboard)

Helen Mirren Joins Fast 8 Cast (Meaning It'll Be Even More Badass Than We Thought). The cast of Fast 8 just keeps getting better and better. After confirming (and getting a sneak peek) of Charlize Theron's involvement with the popular movie franchise, we have now learned that Helen Mirren will be giving the latest installment her badass touch. Yep, the 70-year-old star confirmed her casting in the film during an interview with Elle, and we're just giddy with excitement! "Yes, I am," Mirren responded to the mag when asked of her rumored role on the film (there are also whispers that she's playing a villain, which she didn't confirm, but would just be the cherry on top if true!). The star continued to share that she's a big fan of cars and hopes to buckle up and get behind the wheel of one of the film's famous suped-up rides. "I've always rather loved driving. I said, 'I'll be in it, but only if I'm allowed to drive if I do drive in it.' But we'll see. We'll see how it transpires. Film is a wonderful thing and it can be so many different things. I don't want to turn my back on any of the different ways movies can be. I love the movies. I love going to the films. I like very serious films, I love foreign films, and I love big, fun movies -- as long as they're well-made and they've got good scripts. That's the most important thing." Mirren will join the latest addition, Theron, who we know for sure will be playing a villain in the newest installment, along with returning stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Jason Statham Diesel confirmed in February that not only will there be a Fast 8 but there will also be two more films to follow, promising at least 10 installments of the flick for high-speed chase lovers of the world. Gary Gray is directing the upcoming film, which he announced on social media. "I could not have asked for better partners than Vin Diesel, Neal H. Moritz, & the Universal Studios Entertainment family," he posted on Facebook. "Together we are excited to bring you the next chapter in the Fast & Furious saga. ?#?FastFamily." (Eonline)

Kevin Hart Schools James Corden in 'Late Late Show' Rap Battle. "Carpool Karaoke, how long that last? How do you rap with your head up Lin-Manuel's ass?" Kevin Hart can do anything he sets his mind to, including schooling James Corden in a Late Late Show rap battle. On Wednesday's episode, the Central Intelligence star took on the CBS late-night host in a "Drop the Mic" sketch filled with lyrical disses. "Get High, Ride Along, Ride Along 2 / you're great at being in movies with people more famous than you," Corden began, mostly making fun of Hart's height with jabs like "There are no small actors, but you're only small parts" and "You might Think Like a Man, but you're built like a boy." The host then brought out a step-stool for the comedian, which set him off. "James Corden thinks look like a kid / Well, I might be small but my bank account's big," said Hart, who skewered Corden's late-night game ("Carpool Karaoke, how long that last? How do you rap with your head up Lin-Manuel's ass?") and physical size: "I fill football stadiums, you barely fit in the seat." Corden's "Drop the Mic" segment has previously featured Anne Hathaway, David Schwimmer and Rebel Wilson. As Hart pointed out, "You tried to win 'Drop the Mic,' third try / Pick the black dude, good job, white guy." (Hollywood Reporter)

'Jane the Virgin' Star Gina Rodriguez on Connecting With Her Character, Odd Fan Confessions. "[Jane] definitely helps me check myself," says the actress of her highly moralistic and generous title character. Gina Rodriguez, star of The CW's Jane the Virgin, says she has to constantly "check herself" in real life as she compares herself to her character Jane, who is "so moralistic." Because of Jane's virtues, Rodriguez has come to asses her own life with more awareness. The show also connects Rodriguez to people in a new way. "Because I play a virgin on television," she told The Hollywood Reporter during the Comedy Actress Roundtable, "what I get is people desiring to tell me their specific sexual orientation, or if they're currently having sex, or if they're themselves a virgin." "I actually find it to be a really awesome benefit of being an artist," said Rodriguez. "You can connect with people that you've never met before." She told a story about a 25-year-old woman who was saving herself for marriage: "I was like, 'Girl, get it.' It was amazing. She was so convicted. She was beautiful and she just got like an amazing job. I was oddly proud of this human being I had just recently interacted with." More roundtables featuring comedy and drama actors, drama actresses, comedy and drama showrunners, and reality hosts and producers will roll out throughout June in print and online. Tune in to new episodes of Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter starting June 26 on SundanceTV, with the premiere of the Comedy Actress Roundtable on Sunday, July 10. Pretty Little Liars Is 'Coming To A Closure Of Sorts' After Season 7! Get The Deets On This Year's Wedding, Body Count, & Finale! Gasp! We're just one week away from the highly-anticipated Season 7 premiere of Pretty Little Liars -- and creator I. Marlene King is letting us know to expect a wedding and SEVERAL funerals in the show's near future! During a Wednesday night panel at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, the creator was joined by cast members Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Sasha Pieterse, Tyler Blackburn, Andrea Parker, Keegan Allen, plus producer Charlie Craig to tease what was to come in the Freeform hit's summer season! After a screening of the network's new summer series Dead of Summer, King said that Season 7 would be split up into two parts as usual, teasing: "There will be a proposal in the summer and a wedding when we come back in the winter." And yes, the creator confirmed the wedding will involve one of the Liars -- so we can fully expect Uber A to be crashing the event. As for the carnage this upcoming season, Marlene says fans can expect "the biggest body count we've ever had on a season of PLL." So, we have that to look forward to! LOLz! But the big question of the night was if Season 7 could be the last of the murder mystery drama -- to which King cryptically replied: "The show is coming to a closure of sorts, and that's all we can say for now. Everyone loves their characters and the world so we hope it continues in some way shape or form." Uh oh. We have a feeling that means not all of the Liars will make it out of this season alive! Either way, we can't wait to watch Season 7 of PLL when it premieres June 21 at 9 p.m. on Freeform! (Perez Hilton)

None of The Real Housewives of New York City Are Actually Wives Anymore -- and It's Great. Should The Real Housewives of New York City return for season nine with its current roster of ladies intact, it could very well mark a major change to the fabric of the series: For the first time ever, every single Housewife would likely be unmarried or in the middle of a divorce, a wife no more. That's both a radical and refreshing thing to look forward to. If newbie Housewife Jules Wainstein finds herself searching for a light at the end of the divorce tunnel she just entered into with soon-to-be ex-husband Michael, she needn't look any further than the show she's currently starring on and the ladies she shares the screen with. When the series' first began in 2008, all but one of the original ladies (Bethenny Frankel) were happily married. After all, the goal was to, at least initially, live up to the title of the show. But somewhere along the way, whether through crumbling relationships or cast turnover, the balance began to shift and suddenly there were just as many single women calling themselves Real Housewives as there were married, if not more. And while the road to season eight (and beyond to season nine) was often difficult to witness, littered as it was with scenes of women we'd grown to love in deep pain, what it's led to has been nothing short of revelatory. We've gushed at length over why season eight is shaping up to be RHONY's best season ever, but in that earlier assessment, we neglected to mention how the current cast comprised of Jules, Bethenny, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Carole Radziwill (all unmarried as of the show's latest episode, save for Jules) is delivering an unadulterated look at women of certain age embracing their freedom and celebrating their sexuality in a way that we've never really seen on TV. And it just may be one of the medium's most subtly feminist pieces of entertainment this year. They date younger men. They date older men. They have one night stands. They have long-time boyfriends. They run businesses. They like to have a good time. And they don't give a damn what you think. And thanks to this newfound single sisterhood, the series feels more authentic than ever. Long gone is the struggle to keep the facade of a picture-perfect life while their marriages slowly curdled. In its place is a group of women who relate to each other more, rely on one another more, and, on some level, respect each other just a bit more. Regardless of how much they may still fight (and boy do they), there's a sense that they each know the other has survived something just as brutal as they have. They share war wounds. They get it. Look no further than Bethenny and Carole's heart-to-heart over life lessons learned from a kitten to find the sort of honest interactions that you can't find anywhere else in reality TV. Sure, there are still bumps in the road, like Bethenny's tirade about Luann sleeping with married and younger men. However, she was quick to point out she wasn't doing it to slut-shame the Countess, but rather to point out what she perceived as hypocrisy considering how Luann treated some of the other women, including Carole. It's a reality show after all, there's got to be some drama. By shedding their housewife roles, these women have become more real than ever. We're just grateful to be along for the ride. The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo. (Eonline)

Real Housewives of New York City Recap: How a Kitten Taught Carole Radziwill a Ton About Herself. The dust fake glitter snow has settled, the red blazers and jumpsuits have been put away -- a new year is upon us on The Real Housewives of New York City. The episode picks up three weeks after the events of Ramona Singer's holiday party. You know, that holiday party that Bethenny Frankel couldn't get out of fast enough. That party where Luann de Lesseps apologized to both Bethenny and Carole Radziwill (again). That party where Carole thought a whole tray of hors d'oeuvres was for her. That party where Sonja Morgan had a meltdown over not being invited to Dorinda Medley's Berkshires disaster and as a result not being able to talk about Tipsy Girl with Bethenny. It's a new year, same drama. We open with Sonja learning the news that Luann is giddy over her new relationship with Tom, the same Tom who apparently slept with Sonja while he was "inseparable" with Luann. Yikes. Meanwhile, Bethenny has assembled Dorinda, Carole, Ramona and Jules Wainstein for some margaritas and guacamole to plan a trip to Mexico to find the best tequila for her new drink. However, Carole doesn't want to go if Luann goes and Bethenny doesn't want to go if Carole doesn't go. Fast forward to later in the episode and Luann has learned about the trip and basically invites herself to Mexico as Bethenny explains why she wasn't in on the initial invite. You can't make this stuff up. "She just banged me and then walked out," Bethenny said. Hey, Luann had to go see Tommy Tune! In addition to her giggle fits over Tom, Luann also got some extensions while Ramona warned her of Tom's player ways. According to Ramona, he sent an ex a gold bracelet for Christmas and regularly talks to another one and says he loves her. This doesn't faze the Countess one bit. During another separate meeting, Dorinda and Jules had dinner with their significant others. The booze was flowing and Jules was not happy with her husband Michael, noting his lateness, joking with the coat check woman about needing a hot nanny and his penchant for always being on the phone. Signs of things to come? But by far the best and more refreshing part of the episode was Carole's chat with Bethenny about how a foster cat made her realize a very important thing about the way she lives her life and operates her relationships. Carole was fostering a kitten and grew quite attached to him, so much so that she was prepared to adopt him full time. However, after taking him to the vet for shots, she was informed he would be going to his adoptive family. She wouldn't get a chance to say goodbye. "I know I should be happy, but I wanted to at least say goodbye to him. I didn't get to do that. I lost some very good friends in a way that was sudden and I lost a husband in a way that was kind of slow over the five years. I don't like sudden goodbyes," she said in a confessional, referring to husband Anthony Radziwill and friends John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. Carole said that hyperventilating and having a breakdown over the cat while talking to her boyfriend Adam made her realize she "can't love anything unless I know it's temporary." She went on to question with Bethenny if it was something always in her or because of her husband's passing, noting Anthony was diagnosed with cancer shortly before their wedding. "I owe this little kitten a lot. This little kitten taught me what every relationship could not teach me, and that is you cannot live life as though it's temporary," she said, announcing that maybe Adam isn't so temporary. You wouldn't get this kind of frank discussion between any other Housewives. This definitely put the "real" in Real Housewives of New York City. The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays, 9 p.m. on Bravo. (Eonline)

C-SPAN Takes Center Stage During Epic Gun Violence Filibuster. Senator Chris Murphy brought added attention to the news network during the live stream of his filibuster on Wednesday. C-SPAN saw an audience spike on Wednesday as a filibuster about gun violence approached its 13-hour mark. Democratic Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut began speaking around 11 a.m. ET, and C-SPAN live-streamed his speech throughout the day. Murphy started the filibuster as a way to force a vote on gun control legislation on the Senate floor, days after a mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub left 49 dead and several more injured. According to Senate rules, he could keep talking and maintain control of the Senate floor as long as he remained standing there. He also spoke about the Newtown shooting in his home state of Connecticut as a reason why lawmakers need to "come together" on the issue. Senators Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut and Cory Booker of New Jersey, both of whom were also trending on Twitter throughout the day, stood by Murphy for most of the filibuster. Fellow Senators also followed along Wednesday using the hashtag #enough. As of Wednesday night, C-SPAN's audience surged as a result of the long filibuster, with #filibuster and #holdthefloor trending on Twitter as the conversation spread. Twitter even released a real-time map about how many users were tweeting about his filibuster across the country. (Hollywood Reporter)
