Overnight work near I-10 and Prince Road in Tucson

Westbound Interstate 10 will have the two left lanes closed overnight just north of the Prince Road traffic interchange (milepost 254) beginning 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 22 for pavement work. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph.

The westbound Interstate 10 frontage road and eastbound Prince Road continues to have right lane closures around the clock through the end of August for drainage work.

This work involves large equipment on site and construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway.
    • Motorists should not follow trucks into the work zones.

The work is to construct a new drainage system at I-10 and the Flowing Wells Wash. It includes installation of two 96-inch steel pipes underneath the Union Pacific railroad tracks and completion of remaining westbound I-10 frontage road improvements.

Drivers should share the road, be cautious and slow down while traveling through the work zone.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned roadway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
