Kristen Stewart Has Date Night With New Girlfriend, Gets Honored by Dakota Fanning. Kristen Stewart's new romance is going so well with girlfriend St. Vincent that she's already bringing her to Hollywood galas. The musician was by Stewart's side when she was honored at Elle magazine's annual Women in Hollywood dinner at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. Stewart walked the red carpet solo, but joined St. Vincent (whose real name is Annie Clarke) inside the ballroom. They sat next to each other throughout the evening, but didn't show much PDA. Dakota Fanning presented Stewart with her Elle award. Calling her friendship with her Twilight co-star "one of the most special bonds in my life," Fanning caused the room to erupt with laughter when she admitted, "She has held my hair back and talked me through heartbreak. "She has always been there for me when I needed her most and most of all she has taught me the power of being 100 percent yourself 100 percent of the time," Fanning added. Ben Affleck presented an award to his The Accountant co-star Anna Kendrick. He praised her for everything (talent, intelligence, looks, etc.), but also for being a New England Patriots fan. "She's not one of those Patriots fans who just thinks Tom Brady is sexy like me--she's the real deal," Affleck said. Kendrick cracked, "Ben, you look amazing tonight. Can we talk about how nice you look?... You look so great. You look like the guy in the stock photo in a psychology textbook in the chapter about a sociopath." Honoree Aja Naomi King dedicated her award to her mother. "I felt very lucky growing up because I got to live in the same house with my hero," the How to Get Away With Murder and The Birth of a Nation star said. "I got to witness my hero up close on a daily basis and she would be generous and kind, fierce yet fair, dole out guidance and never back down." The night included praise for Hillary Clinton and disdain for Donald Trump. Honoree Helen Mirren concluded her remarks with a "few tips to get through life" with the last piece of advice being to "ignore anyone who judges the way you look, especially if he or she is some anonymous miserable creep lurking on the internet or is a bloated small-headed dinosaury hand candidate for president." The other honorees at the event, hosted by Anthony Anderson and co-sponsored by L'Oreal Paris, included Amy Adams, Kathy Bates, Felicity Jones and Lupita Nyong'o. Presenters and guests included Jeremy Renner, Sharon Stone, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Regina King, Kelly Rowland, Lucy Hale, Vanessa Hudgens, Nikki Reed, Amber Valletta, January Jones, Tracee Ellis Ross, Vivica A. Fox, Juliette Lewis and Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke. (Eonline)

Amber Rose enjoyed a night out at the Ace of Diamonds strip club in West Hollywood, California on Monday -- while her rumored beau Val Chmerkovskiy spoke out about whether they were actually romantically involved. Dressed in a pair of skin-tight jeans and a low-cut black halter top, the 33-year-old talk show host was cool as can be. Wearing her signature shades, Rose accessorized her look with a pair of above the knee black suede boots. Though she was eliminated earlier than she hoped from Dancing with the Stars, Rose may have found a romantic connection with the brother of her pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The two got cozy during her glitzy 33rd birthday over the weekend -- sharing adorable photos of their time together on Instagram. But Val was less talkative when asked about Rose. "I'd make a cute couple with a lot of people, you know what I'm sayin'?" the 30-year-old Ukrainian dancer joked to ET -- adding that he often posts photos with his 16-year-old partner Laurie Hernandez too and "thankfully, there's no romance rumors there!" "I can't control what people think," he added. "I live my life and I try to live it, you know, the way I want to live it." He also took time to praise Rose's run on the show. "I'm proud of Amber for coming in and embracing the process and doing her very best [while] looking great," he gushed. "Obviously, because she was my brother's partner especially, I was rooting for them." A source previously told PEOPLE that Rose and Chmerkovskiy have a lot of romantic potential. "They met through Maks and really like each other," the source revealed. "It's very new, but it's going well." What's also going well? Val and Hernandez's run on Dancing with the Stars. They continued to score on Monday -- earning 34 points for their 1960s-set Quickstep. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC. (People)

There's trouble in the secret relationship between Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx. The couple, who never confirmed they were an item, have broken up, according to a report, and a source close to Foxx says it's because he didn't want to go public as a couple. The source said, "Jamie wants to continue to act like the carefree guy he is in public. Eventually, the question had to come about whether he was committed enough to the relationship." Reps for both Holmes and Foxx couldn't be reached. (Page Six)

Scottie and Larsa Pippen's bombshell divorce filing comes amid claims that Scottie squired another woman to the NBA playoffs and Larsa's friendship with hip-hop star Future, according to sources. But a rep for Larsa, a former "Real Housewife of Miami" who has four kids with Pippen, now insists the split happened after a fight over his desire to move to Chicago for a job with ESPN -- and the couple could still reconcile. The rep for Larsa told us a few days ago, "The tension between [Scottie and Larsa] started months ago during playoffs when Scottie brought another woman to a playoff game. Scottie has been married to Larsa for almost two decades and has had no problems with her social media." Her rep would not comment on gossip about her friendship with Future, although sources in the rapper's camp dismissed them as "false rumors." But another source close to Pippen, 51, said of Larsa's friendship with celebs such as Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, "Scottie hates this whole 'Kardashian Instagram lifestyle.' [Larsa is] all about clubs and rappers and DJs. He just wants out of that world." Pippen "just wants to play golf and stay low-key," the source added. "He's afraid of all the gossip that comes with that Kardashian world she's in." But despite all the drama, Larsa's rep added on Monday night, "I'm fairly certain they're going to make up .?.?. He's sending her messages. They're communicating. I don't think they're going to pull the trigger. He was saying, 'I miss you. Let's talk.' She's feeling the same way. When it rains, it pours, but Scottie's at a different place. She's at a different place, and they're just figuring it out." Her rep added, "I believe he took a new job in Chicago working with ESPN as an analyst for the Chicago Bulls. It's a job-related thing, and he's always preferred Chicago over Miami, so that's always been an issue, but that's nothing new. He wants to reside fully in Chicago and she loves Miami. They've been texting nonstop. And she's like, 'Is this really how it's going to end? We've been through so much together.' She was a little bit caught off guard [by his divorce filing]." (Page Six)

According to NBC New York, Shirlene Quigley was last seen getting on a bus at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York around 1 a.m. local time Sunday. Her father, who usually receives a phone call from his daughter every night, grew concerned when he didn't hear from his family member. While police continue their search for the talented dancer, Rihanna has taken to Instagram to raise awareness about her friend's disappearance. "This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!!" the "Diamonds" singer wrote on social media Monday evening. "My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her!" She added, "If anyone has seen or has any information on @shirlenequigley's whereabouts ..... PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100 !!!!" The post also gives fans a sense of Shirlene's positivity and love for those she meets. "Imagine if we all treated each other like we were all going to go to the same home at the end of the day?" she asks in the video. "Imagine if we treated each other like we all really came from the same family... at the end of the day, it's family and we love them regardless." According to the dancer's personal website, Shirley's career began at 18 years old when she danced in Beyonce's music video for "Crazy in Love." When not performing in music videos for artists including Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx and Ashanti, the dancer also created the first High Heel Dance class at the world famous Millennium Dance Complex. "More than anything, Shirlene wants to use her experiences and successes to be a testimony for this generation worldwide," her website read. "Being a woman of God and a leader in the entertainment industry, she hopes to use the gifts God has given her to inspire, motivate, and build other great leaders to step into destiny." (Eonline)

A website sued by Kim Kardashian for claiming she "faked" her harrowing Paris robbery has issued a retraction, and her suit has been settled. MediaTakeOut has issued an apology to Kardashian, posting the retraction: "MediaTakeOut regrettably published a series of false stories about [Kardashian] suggesting she faked the robbery in Paris, lied to authorities and then filed a $5.6 million fraudulent insurance claim for her stolen jewelry. MediaTakeOut knows that Mrs. Kardashian West was in fact robbed in Paris." The site removed its "fake" robbery stories. A rep for Kardashian didn't respond to a request for comment on the suit. But the site posted, "We are pleased that this matter has been resolved to satisfaction of all the parties." (Page Six)

Britney Spears is entangled in a raging dispute over the Bumble dating service ... TMZ has learned. Britney's lawyer fired off a threatening letter to Adam Kluger, claiming he went behind Britney's back and negotiated with Bumble to fund her new music video. According to the letter, obtained by TMZ, Kluger allegedly told Bumble he had authority to rep Britney for an $800,000 deal that would put the Bumble name all over her new vid. The lawyer says Bumble agreed and gave Kluger $200k up-front. Kluger then made a deal with Britney's label, RCA, to pay them $450,000 for the Bumble product placement promotion. Britney's people say what Kluger did is fraudulent, because he never repped Britney. They also say his $350k fee -- more than 43% of the deal -- is ridiculous and way above what agents charge. Kluger tells us he never told Bumble he repped Britney. He says his company is a creative agency that puts people and companies together, which is exactly what he did here. He also said his company has worked with Britney before on projects involving Orange Theory and Plenty of Fish. Kluger also says he's on the Forbes List of the 30 Most Influential People in Music Under the Age of 30. Kluger's lawyer tells us, "We are going to defend the sterling reputation of The Kluger Agency in court as necessary. The allegations are false. The Kluger Agency has done nothing wrong." As for the music video, we've learned it's being made ... but without any Bumble product placement. And get this ... Britney made a deal with the dating service, which will underwrite the music video, and in return she's gonna do something with Bumble ... hmmm. (TMZ)

Melissa Rivers is said to be upset over "Last Girl Before Freeway: The Life, Loves, Losses and Liberation of Joan Rivers" by Leslie Bennetts. I'm told that the Hachette Book Group biography being published Nov. 15 reports that some friends of Joan, who died in 2014, feel Melissa was a not-very-talented drag on Joan's career. Melissa executive-produced several TV shows Joan starred in, such as "Fashion Police" and "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?," and was her mom's partner in interviewing stars on the red carpet. Melissa initially cooperated with the book, provided some family photos and gave Bennetts a list of people to talk to, but then decided not to be interviewed further, one friend of Melissa's told me. "She got feedback from friends who talked to Bennetts," the friend said. "No one has read it, but I've heard the book isn't very nice to Melissa." Bennetts told me: "I interviewed Melissa Rivers at great length, she was very generous in sharing family photographs for this book, and I am extremely grateful to her." Melissa's rep did not get back to me for comment. As to whether Melissa gets slammed in the biography, the author said, "I interviewed a wide range of people for the book, and they expressed a range of opinions, many of which do not reflect my own." Kendall Jenner's Alleged Stalker Found Guilty for Trespassing but Not Stalking. A verdict has been announced in Kendall Jenner's alleged stalking case. A California judge has ruled that Shavaughn McKenzie is not guilty on the charge of misdemeanor stalking, but the jury did find him guilty for trespassing, E! News has learned. McKenzie will be sentenced for the trespassing charge on Nov. 11. Jenner testified in court against McKenzie, who was found sitting on her driveway with his head in between his knees on August 14, earlier this month. The 20-year-old explained that she immediately felt something was off. "I wouldn't expect someone to be sitting on the side of the street. I definitely thought it was weird... It didn't make sense." Kendall proceeded to tell McKenzie to leave her property, but realized she'd seen him on two separate occasions beforehand, both at her previous home. "I was crying, I was screaming, I was freaking out. I didn't know what his intentions were. I was freaking out. I was frightened for sure," she told the court. "I never got out of my car. I was terrified. I was literally traumatized. I started honking at him and I just wanted to make sure I saw wherever he went. He got out of the gate and I drove down the hill." Jenner concluded, "This is not how I want to be living. I really don't feel safe in my own house...I'm already the kind of person who's on edge." (Eonline)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Naomi Campbell emulated Princess Grace of Monaco at the Princess Grace Awards Gala on Monday night in New York City. The supermodel looked radiant in a textured pearl evening gown that showed off her fit physique. The dress flared out behind the 46-year-old at the hem and formed into a train behind her. Campbell had a heavily brocaded cape over one shoulder and accessorized with a silver clutch, bracelet and large diamond necklace. "Compiling the list of recommendations sometimes felt like we were submitting for the Nobel Peace Prize!" he said. "When I got the phone call I'd won the award that summer, I was working at the Public Theater in West Virginia. It was a huge help to my family and it changed my life." Latifah was honored at the awards with the prestigious Prince Rainier III Award for her years of giving back to the arts community. Campbell hosted the event, while Odom Jr. and choreographer Camille A. Brown received 2016 Princess Grace Statue Awards. His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife, Princess Charlene, were also present at the event, along with stars like Rose Leslie, Tommy Hilfiger and Victoria Silvstedt. (Page Six)

Latina Magazine Celebrates 20 Years of Hollywood Progress for Latinas. Happy 20th anniversary, Latina magazine! The magazine is celebrating its platinum anniversary with a photomosaic of the none other than the legendary Selena Quintanilla, the mosaic is made up of the 20 most impactful, influential Latina covers over the past two decades. Latina magazine was the first in its space and quickly became a pioneering force for Latinas underserved by the general market and Spanish-language media. While the decision of how to celebrate such an extraordinary achievement must have been a difficult one, the editorial team was able to narrow it down by what they wanted this cover to represent. "It's our 20th-anniversary issue and we wanted something super special. We considered every possible cover star from icons to up-and-comers, and in the end, we couldn't think of anyone more ideal than Selena. She is the ultimate Latina; she's 100% Latina and 100% American," Latina Editorial Director Robyn Moreno said. "Selena inspired every big name Latina artist out there. Selena Gomez is named after her, and Jennifer Lopez is famous because of her. In the end, she was our hands down choice to on our 20th-anniversary cover. And through her powerful voice, American Latinas found theirs and Latinos learned they didn't need to change who they were to make it big." Through the years some of the biggest Latino voices in Hollywood have sat down with the magazine. "When Hollywood starts considering me for roles where ethnic background doesn't matter, that's an even bigger step in the right direction for me," Jennifer Lopez said in the summer of 1996. And 20 years later, J.Lo has gotten the roles that she so rightfully deserves and also built a musical empire for herself. (Eonline)

Taraji P. Henson's empire is expanding into the Hollywood Hills where she just plunked down $6.4 million for her new secluded home. The 3 bedroom, 3 bath Spanish home sits on top of a hill with breathtaking 360 city views. Plus, her new pool has a waterfall, and there's a totally zen meditation deck overlooking the city. Taraji still owns another home in the less bougie Glendale neighborhood, which she leases. Cookie's got serious real estate hustle. (TMZ)

Justin Timberlake could go to jail for 30 days for taking a selfie in a voting booth. JT posted a pic of himself back home Monday at the polling place. Problem is ... Tennessee law prohibits voters from taking pics or recording conversations in the sacred rooms. Violators can be slapped with a 30 day jail sentence and a $50 fine. A rep from the Shelby County D.A.'s Office tells us, the Timberlake case is "under review." The law was passed last year, but we're told so far no one has been prosecuted. An official from the election's board where Justin voted is clearly against prosecution, telling us he should be commended, not prosecuted, for inspiring people to get out and vote. (TMZ)

Selena Quintanilla Is Newest Inductee at Texas Women's Hall of Fame. What a year it's been for Selena Quintanilla. The late Tejano singer and four other outstanding women were inducted into the Texas Women's Hall of Fame. She received the honor in recognition of her achievements and her contributions to Texas and the arts. Selena's sister, Suzette Quintanilla, assisted the ceremony and accepted on her behalf. "I had to take notes for this one, because I'm a little nervous, believe it or not. I'm used to being the drummer on the back and not in the front," Suzette said jokingly. "My sister once said that the goal isn't to love forever, but to create something that will. Today is a testament to those words. I stand up here today with so many emotions and all of these beautiful memories in my heart that I would love to share with you guys but that would take a long time," she said as she held back the tears. "As you all know Selena was such a unique person who embodied so much for being so young. Selena was a very kind and caring person that had an infectious smile and laughter." The late singer's older sister was moved to tears and took a second to gather her thoughts before saying, "I told myself I wasn't going to cry." "She was a person that had an inner beauty that matched her outer beauty. She was an artist who had this amazing ability to captivate you with her voice and draw you in with whatever song she was singing. I am forever grateful to be a part of this powerful legacy that she's left behind and which is why we're here 21 years later. I do feel very proud in knowing that there is a new generation who has embraced her and look up to her especially in our Latino community because there are very few that I feel people in our generation can connect to," she said. Suzette concluded her speech by saying that her sister would have been ecstatic to accept such an honor. Already a Grammy winner and owner of a clothing line and a boutique-salon, Selena was shot and killed by the founder of her first fan club on March 31, 1995. She was 23. The Texas-born singer was a pioneer for many artists as she seamlessly crossed over from the Spanish market and into the English market. Shortly after her death, the star's story was brought to life in the biopic Selena starring Jennifer Lopez. (Eonline)

Toni Braxton won't let lupus derail her from tour ... she performed over the weekend with a heart monitor strapped to her chest. Toni's "The Hits Tour" hit Savannah, Georgia Saturday night where she busted into song with the monitor in plain view. We're told doctors urged her to wear it 24/7 to detect chest pain, as well as oncoming heart attacks or strokes. Toni was hospitalized twice this month ... the result of complications from the autoimmune disease. She still sounds amazing. BTW ... Birdman was front and center at Saturday night's concert. (TMZ)

Lady Gaga and Her Dad Got Matching 'Joanne' Tattoos. Lady Gaga has inked her heart on her sleeve, literally. The singer revealed on Monday (Oct. 24) that she and her dad recently got matching tattoos in honor of her late aunt, who also inspired the name of her just-released fifth album, Joanne. "Got Joanne tattooed on my arm in her actual signature," she wrote on Instagram in a caption to a pic of the fresh ink on the inside of her left arm. "My dad got one too. With an angel on his shoulder." During a visit to Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show on Monday, Gaga revealed that she has an angel tattooed on her skull and discussed what a huge presence her late aunt has been on her life. "She's like this goddess that we worshipped in our family our whole lives," she said of her aunt, who died at age 19 due to complications from the autoimmune disease Lupus. "Her picture was always up, and it was framed so beautifully in the house. We talked about her all the time, every family meal... she was like a guardian angel or spirit guide." Gaga, whose middle name is Joanne, also discussed how her aunt's death impacted her father. "I never understood why my father drank so much and why he was so angry and why he was so overprotective and why his eyes would just blister out of control when I showed a sign of independence or wanting to leave the house or be on my own," she told Stern. "And I always thought it was my fault. So this album for me was about healing the wounds of being a young woman growing up in a tough family and figuring that out." Gaga also has a tat with the date 12/18/1974, which is the day her aunt passed away. It's also the name of her father's New York City restaurant. The date is right in the middle of her German "Rilke" tattoo. (Billboard)

Tom Hanks Still Remembers the Rap From Big and It's Even More Magical 28 Years Later. There's no denying Tom Hanks' talent, but it's his memory that might prove to be even more impressive. Filmmakers Wesley Chan and Philip Wang, part of the YouTube channel Wong Fu Productions, caught up with Hanks and director Ron Howard at the Inferno premiere in Florence, Italy. Chan and Wang participated in a quick Q&A session with Hanks and Howard, and then a starstruck Wang asked Hanks for a favor -- to recite the famous rap from Big with him. Without skipping a beat, Hanks recited the rap in full with as much enthusiasm as he did in the original movie, which came out 28 years ago. The Sully star is no stranger to nostalgia and his fans' passion for it, as he reunited with former co-star Meg Ryan earlier this year for her directorial debut Ithaca. E! News caught up with Ryan at the Ithaca premiere where she couldn't help but gush about her longtime friend. "He's so cute, isn't he?" she said of Hanks. "He's so good and sweet. He's got like this much [indicates a small amount with her fingers] to do in the movie, but he just hits it out of the park." Ryan, on the other hand, doesn't quite feel the same nostalgia as Hanks does. When asked if she ever looks back on her older, iconic films, Ryan gave a resounding, "No!" "I haven't really seen the movies very often," she said. "I mean, maybe I've seen each one of them once...We're talking about like a million years ago now!" Inferno lands in theaters Oct. 28. 'Shaun the Sheep Movie' Sequel in the Works at Aardman. Crowds flocked to the first big-screen outing of the woolly farmyard favorite, which earned $106 million internationally and now gives StudioCanal another major family franchise. Shaun the Sheep is set to make a feature-length return. Aardman Animations and StudioCanal announced a sequel to 2015's Oscar-nominated Shaun the Sheep Movie on Tuesday, a widely expected move given the $106 million earned by the first film. Richard Starzak will again direct (he co-directed the first alongside Mark Burton), with Paul Kewley returning as producer. The film gives StudioCanal another successful family franchise alongside Paddington and is set to come hot on the heels of Aardman's animated feature Early Man-also with StudioCanal-being directed by Oscar-winning Wallace & Gromit filmmaker Nick Park. Shaun the Sheep was, of course, a breakout star of Park's 1995 short Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave. "Shaun's move to the big screen proved such a success with audiences around the world that he and the flock are very excited to be embarking on another big-screen adventure," said David Sproxton, Aardman co-founder and exec chairman. "Aardman is partnering with StudioCanal once again to produce another rip-roaring comedy, featuring Shaun and the rest of the gang in a story that takes them to even greater heights of lunacy." StudioCanal is co-financing Shaun the Sheep Movie 2 and will distribute in its own territories, the U.K, France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand, selling worldwide at AFM. Pre-production on Shaun the Sheep Movie 2 will commence in January 2017, with principal photography likely to start once filming on Early Man finishes, utilizing the same studio space at Aardman's facilities in Bristol, U.K. (Hollywood Reporter)

Meryl Streep, Asian Stars Open Tokyo Film Festival. Beyond the 'Florence Foster Jenkins' star, international A-listers were conspicuous by their absence. Stars from the Japanese and broader Asian film industries walked the red carpet at a somewhat subdued opening for the Tokyo International Film Festival at the Roppongi Hills complex on Tuesday. While the cool temperatures and sporadic rain showers certainly didn't help the atmosphere, there was a distinct lack of star power compared with previous editions. While there were just about enough domestic celebrities to satisfy the local crowd around the red carpet, Meryl Streep, the sole representative of opening film Florence Foster Jenkins, was probably the only recognizable face to audiences outside Asia, bar perhaps that of Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe. Abe stood on the carpet with Streep and thanked her for attending the fest, saying he had watched many of her films, but was particularly impressed by her performance as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady. The Japanese prime minister told Streep he still remembered the line, "I have done battle every single day of my life..." from the film about the former British prime minister. The Tokyo festival has been struggling to attract headline-grabbing opening films and stars in recent years, aside from the coup of the Big Hero 6 world premiere in 2014, and appears in danger of becoming less and less relevant internationally. When The Walk opened the fest last year, it had already opened in 70 countries. Florence Foster Jenkins premiered back in April in the U.K. and has already finished its theatrical run in most of the world. Streep was at Rome Film Festival last week promoting the film. The festival runs through Nov. 3 at Roppongi Hills and other central Tokyo venues. (Hollywood Reporter)

'Six of Crows' Writer Nabs Seven Figures for Next Two Books. 'Ninth House,' the first book, follows a college freshman who gets caught up in the occult activities of Yale's secret societies. Random House has acquired the next two novels from Six of Crows author Leigh Bardugo, the publisher has announced. The new series centers on Alex Stern, a 20-year-old California high school dropout with a criminal past who is mysteriously offered a second chance as a Yale University freshman. Ninth House, the first book, follows Stern's freshman year, where she is charged with monitoring Yale's secret societies, who engage in sinister occult activities. In a statement, Bardugo, who is a Yale graduate, said, "This story has been haunting me since I first set foot in New Haven almost 20 years ago. I love writing for young adults and I intend to keep doing it, but there are different places I want to go with this novel. It isn't a coming-of-age story. Alex has lived a lot of lives before we meet her." Added Random House editor Noah Eaker: "I devoured Six of Crows when it published last year and knew I had to work with Leigh. She is one of the most gifted plotters and world-builders around. It's amazing to see her storytelling skills unleashed in this world, which is basically our own yet with a brilliant and frightening fantastical overlay." Bardugo's previous two books, Crooked Kingdom and Six of Crows, both reached No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list. Her Grisha Trilogy (Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm and Ruin and Rising) is in development at DreamWorks with David Heyman and Heyday Films producing. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but sources confirm to The Hollywood Reporter that the final offer was in the seven-figure range and was made on the basis of a less than 30-page proposal for the new series. Bardugo is represented by Joanna Volpe of New Leaf Literary & Media. Eaker is represented Random House. (Hollywood Reporter)

Jack O'Connell to Play Alexander McQueen in Biopic. Andrew Haigh is set to direct the film about the late fashion icon, with principal photography to begin in January. The hotly anticipated Alexander McQueen biopic has found its leading man. Jack O'Connell (Unbroken, '71) has been cast as the late fashion designer in the untitled film, to be directed by Andrew Haigh (Weekend, 45 Years) with Pathe producing. The script is written by Chris Urch, the award-winning playwright of The Rolling Stone and Land of Our Fathers, and based on the biography Blood Beneath the Skin by Andrew Wilson. It will explore the creative process of McQueen-who passed away in 2010- in the months leading up to one of his greatest shows in 2009, providing an intimate portrait of the man behind the global brand. Damian Jones (The Iron Lady, Belle, Lady in the Van) is producing, with principal photography set to start in January 2017 for delivery at the end of the year. Pathe will distribute the film in the U.K., France and Switzerland and will handle sales throughout the rest of the world, introducing the film to buyers at this year's AFM. Haigh, who saw 45 Years pick up awards in Berlin in 2015 and earn an Oscar nomination for Charlotte Rampling this year, recently wrapped Lean on Pete and is teaming with See-Saw Films and the BBC on a new drama series. How Dancing With the Stars Helped Maureen McCormick Overcome Her Fear. Maureen McCormick's quest for the Mirrorball trophy on Dancing With the Stars has come to an end. The Brady Bunch star was sent home on Eras Night after receiving a 28 out for 40 for her tango with Artem Chigvintsev to Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name." They also participated in a team dance with Ryan Lochte, Cheryl Burke, Calvin Johnson Jr., Lindsay Arnold, James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess to "The Skye Boat Song" by Raya Yarbrough. "Nobody ever wants to go home," McCormick told E! News after she was eliminated. "Of course on this show you want to keep pushing, you want to just be able to do more dances and learn more things and hang out with all these beautiful people that are so loving and so supportive. It's such an incredible atmosphere." However, she pointed out just how good her competition on the show was. "I was aware of my level of skill when I look at Laurie Hernandez, James... all of them," she said. For her pro dance partner Chigvintsev, he's a little bummed they're going out after he tripped. "It's sad that his is the way we're going home," he said. "We don't even get the redemption type of performance. But it happens... everyone can make mistakes." At least we got a dance to The Brady Bunch theme song with a cameo from Florence Henderson. And for McCormick, she overcame a fear. "Oh my gosh, yeah, fear of dancing in public," she revealed. "Fear of dancing, period." Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays, 8 p.m. on ABC. (Eonline)

The Walking Dead Season 7 Premiere Deaths Bring in Huge Ratings. The Walking Dead shattered hearts, but not quite ratings records with its season seven premiere. Viewers turned out big time to find out who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed at the end of season six. Spoiler alert! Close to a record number of viewers, 17 million, watched Negan off Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz). The premiere had a 8.4 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic. The season five premiere still holds the ratings record -- 17.3 million viewers and an 8.7 rating. Mind you this does not include any DVR or online viewing. A little more than 14.2 million viewers tuned in to see Negan's debut in the season six finale. The big episode had 8.8 million adults in the 18-49 demographic. The events of the finale -- the big deaths -- were kept a secret by the cast for over a year, Cudlitz told us. In fact, he had to keep his fate from his kids as well. "I didn't want them to have to process it when they weren't home and then maybe slip up and tell their friends at school," he said of his college-aged kids. "I wanted them to be at home and be able to look them in the eye and explain what was going to happen and how important it was to keep the secret -- like really important... " The Walking Dead also stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Sonequa Martin-Green, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Lennie James, Alanna Masterson, Ross Marquand, Austin Nichols, Seth Gilliam, Tom Payne and Austin Amelio. The Walking Dead airs Sundays, 9 p.m. on AMC. (Eonline)

Millie Bobby Brown Recalls Her Real-Life First Kiss for Stranger Things: "I Would Do Anything for the Show." When you're 12 years old, a first kiss is strange. When you're puckering up for the first time on the set of Stranger Things, it can get -- well -- stranger. Just ask Millie Bobby Brown. "I did have to kiss Finn [Wolfhard]," she recalled during a chat with real-life BFF, "Chandelier" dancer Maddie Ziegler, for Interview Magazine. "At the end of the day, it's only acting, and it's something you have to do, and I would do anything for the show. I cut my hair, I kissed Finn. It was definitely strange. It was, like, my first kiss, so it was kind of weird. But then, like, when I'd done it, I thought, 'Wow. It makes sense for the storyline.'" In an interview that reads more like two gal pals gossiping over pedicures, Brown admitted her reaction to the smooch with her 13-year-old co-star was not so great. "Finn reacted quite well and I didn't," she laughed. "I felt really bad afterwards." To Brown, her three male co-stars are basically her older siblings. "I am the only girl, and the boys have their squads. They have their group, and it's definitely difficult because they're boys and talk about boy stuff. They talk about girls and video games. I definitely need to talk about normal things a girl would talk about," she explained. "They're like my big brothers. They annoy me, but we are very, very close." While there's plenty of chatting behind the scenes, when it's time to act, Brown doesn't have many lines to memorize. "It was something challenging. It was different from other roles because in those I had to speak a lot. I had, like, paragraphs. I had to play a man in one of my shows, and kill my mum in one of my shows, so it's very weird the things I bump into. And in this show, I realized I didn't have to speak with my mouth, I had to speak with my face," she described of her mysterious, Eggo waffle-loving character. "Instead of actually saying I'm angry, I'm sad, I'm confused, I had to do it with my face, and that was challenging. But I really enjoy playing a challenging role. I love playing Eleven." With Halloween creeping up, we can expect to see dozens of Eleven-inspired costumes, which the actress is happy about. "At Comic-Con, people dress up as her. It's very rewarding in a way, and as strange as Stranger Things. People are embracing her character and trying to portray her. I think it's nice to see what different people think of her character," she said. "I'm cool with people dressing up as Eleven for Halloween. I definitely want to open my door and give them candy." In addition to Comic-Con, fans may have also caught the young star at this year's Emmy Awards singing "Uptown Funk" for the pre-ceremony crowd. "It was really mental and I loved it," she told Ziegler. "It was nerve-racking. It was my first time onstage. I thought, 'Why not hit the Emmys?' And then I came off and I thought, 'I want to do that five times over.'" While she's been in the limelight for her acting talents, the British native was a singer before she ever touched a script. "I started singing before I started tweeting actually. It was always a passion...I started singing and then I got into acting. Singing is something I love to do. I feel very confident doing it," she said. "I haven't been allowed to release my first record yet, and my dad goes, 'Understand the meaning of music.' And I was like, 'Okay, Robert.'" Though Brown may begrudgingly listen to her dad's advice, there's another bit of guidance she's held onto in Hollywood. "A lot of people say to me, 'Stay grounded, be humble,'" she explained. "David Schwimmer was just like, 'You need to love what you do.' And I think that's really nice. Just love your work. My family has given me great advice saying, you know, 'Don't work too hard.' And it's really nice to have someone like that -- you know that they love you. It's nice to have famous people love you." (Eonline)

Matt LeBlanc Is Your Newest TV Dad on Man with a Plan. Joey Tribbiani has returned to TV -- or as the ads like to say, "Matt's Le-Back!" Matt LeBlanc stars in CBS' newest sitcom, Man with a Plan, and this time he plays a dad facing the arduous task of becoming even more of a dad when his wife goes back to work. "I'm married and have three kids," LeBlanc tells E! News of his character, Adam, in the video. "Our youngest is now in kindergarten so the house is empty. My wife is a stay-at-home mom, and once the house is empty during the day and all the kids are in school, she wants to go back to work, which is a normal thing so I want to be supportive of that." Liza Snyder plays Adam's wife, Andi, who works as a hospital lab technician and is the kind of mom who volunteers to be the kindergarten room parent. That means it's now Adam's job to be the kindergarten room parent, and to clean up after their three kids, and to basically cause (and sometimes solve) problems all over the place. "I agree to help out more with the kids, and fairly quickly realize it's not for me and I don't like it at all. So it becomes a big point of contention between us," LeBlanc says. While the premise doesn't sound like what we're used to seeing Matt LeBlanc do, it was developed with him in mind. "Jeff and Jackie Filgo are our writers, and I had met with them to sort of come up with a show, so it was something we sort of developed together," he says. "The script came in great, and I was like yeah, I want to be a part of this." One thing that is familiar to fans of Friends (or Joey) is the multi-cam format, meaning the show is filmed in front of an audience whose laughter can be heard. "I get a kick out of that. It's fun," LeBlanc says. "You can tell if the jokes are working. It's like, if they're not laughing, it's probably not funny." Man with a Plan airs Mondays at 8:30 p.m. (Eonline)

Jason Momoa Netflix Drama 'Frontier' Renewed Ahead of Series Debut. The six-episode drama will premiere next month on the streaming service and in Canada on Discovery. Netflix is going back to the Frontier. The streaming giant has renewed Jason Momoa fur-trading drama Frontier for a second season ahead of its series debut next month, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Produced by Discovery Canada and marking its first original scripted drama, the series is poised to debut Sunday, Nov. 6, at 9 p.m. on Discovery Canada. Netflix will premiere the series this year as well. The drama is told from multiple perspectives and set in a world where business negotiations are frequently resolved with hatchet fights. Frontier will also explore the delicate relations between Native tribes and Europeans that can spark bloody conflicts. Momoa, who will return for season two, stars as Declan Harp, an ambitious, confident, charismatic and untamed man with a reputation for being a ruthless trader, driven by lust and revenge. Landon Liboiron, Alun Armstrong, Allan Hawco, Jessica Matten, Shawn Doyle and Zoe Boyle round out the cast. The drama was created by Peter Blackie and Rob Blackie (Republic of Doyle). Jeff Fierson and Brad Peyton (San Andreas) are on board to exec produce, with the latter set to return to direct the season two premiere. Alex Patrick and John Vatcher (Republic of Doyle) are also set to exec produce. The series is produced by Take the Shot Productions and Peyton and Fierson's Factory Backwards, in association with Discovery, which will serve as the exclusive Canadian broadcaster, and Netflix. "As we started to see this cinematic, well-cast and meticulously produced series come to life as we'd dared imagine for season one, we knew we'd created a uniquely immersive world and story that begged for expansion to a second season," said Ken MacDonald, vp and GM at Discovery Canada. "Our decision to begin filming another six episodes before the series' world premiere is a testament to our confidence in Frontier's world-class storytelling." (Hollywood Reporter)

TV Ratings: 'Walking Dead' Bloodbath Matches All-Time Audience High. With 17 million viewers, the season seven opener virtually ties the record set in 2014. Seven seasons in, The Walking Dead seems to have an awful lot of life left in it. TV's highest-rated series, which returned to AMC on Sunday night with a controversial cliffhanger to address, essentially tied its all-time ratings high with an average 17 million viewers tuning in on premiere night. That's only off a hair from the standing record holder. (Season five kicked off with 17.2 million viewers in 2014.) Nielsen's live-plus-same day ratings paint an equally favorable picture in the key demographic. The Walking Dead, already renewed for an eighth season, averaged an 8.4 rating among adults 18-49. That's more than double the same-day score of any broadcast scripted series this season. (It's still slightly shy of its best ever, an 8.7 rating for that same 2014 episode.) Interest in the episode was no doubt driven by the summer-long question of which series regular -- or, as it turned out, regulars -- the zombie drama planned to kill off. The large live tune-in likely means comparatively smaller time-shifting for the episode, which has recouped more and more viewers from DVR, and a drop-off next week. But there's no question that these ratings are especially good news for the aging franchise. In terms of growth from the sixth season, viewership was up 16 percent from the comparable episode last October and 20 percent from the finale. Improvement in the key demo was 16 percent from last premiere and 18 percent from the finale. It's also worth mentioning that Sunday's episode ranks as a best-ever among adults 25-54 with an 8.7 rating. Good news also extended to companion series Talking Dead. The talker, which aired an expanded 90-minute episode with half the cast, averaged series records 7.6 million viewers and a 3.7 rating among adults 18-49. (Hollywood Reporter)
