Enrique Iglesias a Year After Drone Accident: "I Still Can't Feel Anything on This Finger." Let's just say that Enrique Iglesias is pretty much done with drones. It's been a little over a year since the Spanish singer suffered an accident with a flying drone at one of his concert in Tijuana, Mexico. Iglesias opened up during a recent interview with Univision's Primer Impacto and talked about how he's recovering. We have to say, the 41-year-old star was a total professional and only stopped his concert for a moment to be treated by paramedics and then continued with his performance. "To be honest with you, with all of the adrenaline I didn't feel it much," he said to the Univision host. "I was really surprised with the amount of blood I was losing." At that very moment Iglesias' biggest concern was his fans. "I felt a bit of shame and embarrassment in front of my fans, especially with the crowd that was right in the very front," he said. "Every time I would move my hand, you could just see blood everywhere. And at that moment I didn't realize how bad it was because I couldn't feel pain. I felt pain after the surgery." Iglesias quickly put the blame on himself, "Really, what I did was a huge stupidity." After a long reconstruction surgery, the star hasn't fully recovered feeling on one of the injured fingers. "Honestly, I still can't feel anything on this finger," he said. "I still can't feel anything from the nail and below that." Lesson learned, Enrique -- never try to catch a flying drone. (Eonline)

Jennifer Aniston is getting high praise for her poignant Huffington Post op-ed. In the post, the "Friends" star addressed body shaming, the intense scrutiny on her relationships and the public's insane interest in whether or not she'll ever have kids. "For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up," she wrote in the lengthy blog post. "I'm fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of 'journalism,' the 'First Amendment' and 'celebrity news.'" "The objectification and scrutiny we put women through is absurd and disturbing," she continued. "The way I am portrayed by the media is simply a reflection of how we see and portray women in general, measured against some warped standard of beauty." Now, Aniston's husband, Justin Theroux, is coming to her defense and praising her for opening up about such a taboo topic. "#wcw Here's just one reason why," the actor posted on Instagram, alongside a black and white photo of Aniston sitting in between two bowling lanes, linking to the piece. "#gogirl." Melissa McCarthy also spoke out about Aniston's piece, admitting that she agrees "one hundred thousand billion percent." "Everybody needs to stop tearing down women," the "Ghostbusters" star told ET. "It's always about the way we look -- saying, 'He's very interesting,' 'He's a good writer,' 'She's looking older than she was last time we saw her.' It's a ridiculous thing. I just hope it gets to the point where it's embarrassing for people to have such a shallow thought." Meanwhile, Sophia Bush took to her own social media page to comment on the post. "YES to this #WCW to #JenniferAniston, & her frank, smart, vulnerable article on body shaming for HuffPo," she shared with a stunning photo of Jen. "It rings incredibly true for me after this past Sunday. I posted a happy image of myself -- an image I liked -- and quite a few people started hastily tagging friends 'she's pregnant.' 'She looks pregnant.' 'You're pregnant! It's obvious from 1,000 yards. Or you've just gained weight.' 'Is she preggo or fat??' Incredibly stung, I clarified that no, I am not with child, I just ate a burrito for lunch. And someone had the shocking lack of sensitivity to say 'meant no harm by my comment!' Newsflash. Being told you look so heavy you must have another person inside of you IS harmful." "Judging another person's body, assuming you are allowed to weigh in on their worth, their 'beauty,' or that you deserve to determine a lack of their beauty IS harmful. Not just to me, to all of us," she added, referring to the photo. While several other stars have publicly supported Aniston, Piers Morgan is creating some buzz for calling her out. He published a counter-essay on DailyMail to Jen's post called, "My dear Jennifer, if you're so fed up with having your body judged, stop trying to make it look so Photoshop-perfect on magazine covers." "There's another reason why the media objectify and scrutinize famous women, and why little girls get confused about beauty and body image. It's this: female stars like Jennifer Aniston deliberately perpetuate the myth of 'perfection' by posing for endless magazine covers which have been airbrushed so much that in some cases the celebrity is virtually unrecognizable," he said in his piece. He added that while he "commends" Aniston for speaking out about her concerns, "if she really wants to make a difference to this ugly process, she can start by getting a tiny bit uglier herself and letting us see what she REALLY looks like on a magazine cover. Then the little girls she's so worried about can know exactly what they are aspiring to be." Celebs quickly started responding to Morgan's post -- Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to fire back in a series of messages directed at the outspoken TV host. "@piersmorgan saw your piece on Jennifer Aniston. Why do you ALWAYS take the road of being the piece of s--t a--hole?" the new mom asked. We have a feeling this debate is just starting to heat up! Demi Lovato Is 'Living Out Of A Suitcase' But Feels 'Free' After Her Split From Wilmer Valderrama! Wilmer Valderrama already dished about how he's doing after his breakup with Demi Lovato, and now the pop princess is doing the same! On Wednesday, the brunette beauty appeared on The Elvis Duran and The Morning Show, and gave Elvis Duran an update on her life following the split! The gorgeous gal admitted that she feels liberated since getting out of her six-year relationship with the That '70s Show alum, saying: "I feel really amazing. I feel really great and I'm growing. My life is just really, really exciting for me because I'm growing. It's new and fresh, and I feel free." The soulful singer also added that she's focusing on her own happiness, explaining: "I stopped giving an 'f' at like 15. You only get one life, so if you don't do what makes you happy in this moment, you're doing yourself an injustice for the rest of your life." Well, we're glad that Miz Lovato and her former flame both seem to be doing well in the wake of their big breakup! But the songstress confessed she is going through some major adjustments right now, revealing: "My life is in the middle of a lot of changes right now and I don't really have a house at this moment. So I'm actually kind of living out of a suitcase and on the road, so my tour bus is my home right now!" But, one of the things making Demi happy is her Honda Civic Future Now Tour with Nick Jonas! She exclaimed: "[Nick's] one of my best friends, so we get to hang out every single day, so it just makes it that much more fun. This is probably the funniest tour I've ever been on. Sometimes you get on tour and you have to make it the most fun tour, but this one is accidentally becoming the best tour of my life." (Perez Hilton)

After Page Six reported on Wednesday that comedian Julie Klausner had told us that Gwyneth Paltrow is a "backstabber" while promoting her Hulu show, "Difficult People," an outraged Klausner posted on Twitter, "I have no idea why Page Six decided to report on an alleged beef with Gwyneth Paltrow, whom I have never met. I have zero memory of saying anything negative about her... but if I did, I was responding to a reporter's random question about her and must have tried to stumble toward a joke." We can't explain why anyone would call a person they'd never met "a backstabber," but to refresh Klausner's memory, here's the quote again verbatim: "Gwyneth Paltrow -- there's many a tale to tell. [Reporter: "Oh yeah?"] Well, sure -- go on the Internet and read your kid a show business fairy tale sometime. All kinds of backstabbing. But she likes [Eastern therapy] cupping now. I know she likes doing acupuncture and things: cupping maybe instead of backstabbing." (Page Six)

Lamar Odom may have fallen off the straight and narrow. The former NBA player, who has been on the road to recovery following a near-fatal overdose since October, was spotted at a New York City strip club on Tuesday after he was reportedly escorted from a plane as result of vomiting on board allegedly due to drinking. On Monday, Odom, 36, was pictured leaving a Los Angeles strip club. "[Lamar] is back to treating his body worse than ever," a source tells PEOPLE. Amid the father of two's recent behavior, his ex Khloe Kardashian has supported him but she's gotten "frustrated" and remains fearful of Odom's future if he continues down this path. "Lamar's near death experience affected a lot of people. Especially Khloe's. She put her life on hold for weeks to be by Lamar's side at the hospital 24/7. It was awful for Khloe to get the phone call that Lamar had overdosed," the source explains to PEOPLE. "For days, she didn't know if he was going to make it. It infuriates her that Lamar is back to his old ways. Khloe was really hoping that the awful hospital experience would have a positive effect on Lamar, but it's really been the opposite," the insider adds. Seven months after he was found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel, Odom was spotted drinking alone at a Los Angeles mall in May. And in late March, he went out for drinks before attending a Kardashian-Jenner Easter celebration. "[Khloe] is worried that she again will get a terrible phone call. She just can't believe that Lamar is heading down the bad road again. She feels frustrated and very sad at the same time. She has tried and wanted to help him so many times," the source shares. "It's beyond her how Lamar can be so selfish and just careless about his life. She knows she did the right thing by filing for divorce again, but it's very hard for Khloe to let go. She fears a bad ending for Lamar." In May, Kardashian, 32, filed divorce papers for a second time. (People)

A 32-year-old Swedish man named Nils Sjöberg was bombarded by Taylor Swift fans on Wednesday after news broke that the pop princess had co-written ex Calvin Harris' song "This Is What You Came For" under the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg. "I haven't been contacted by Taylor's reps, and that's totally OK," the real Nils Sjöberg told Page Six. "There are a couple of us here in Sweden with this name, even though I haven't met any in person yet." Sjöberg -- who lives in Gothenburg, Sweden -- works not as a songwriter, but as a communications manager for a conference center and hotel complex, the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Center and Gothia Towers. "I think Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift have made an awesome song," he said of the tune, which Harris recorded with Rihanna. "The pseudo is hilarious." Although it still hasn't been revealed why Swift, 26, chose the name, Sjöberg says the journalist who told him about it suggested it was something Taylor and her Swedish friends in Los Angeles had come up with. Over the hours since Swift's rep confirmed the pseudonym, Sjöberg said he's seen an "explosion in tweets and heavy traffic to my blog," plus, "thousands more visitors on my Tumblr." Harris also confirmed that Swift helped write the single, saying on Twitter, "And she sings on a little bit of it too. Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual. " His kind words quickly turned into a dig, though, when he added that it was, "hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though." Robert Downey Jr. has a full week of work ... but he's not going to make his customary $20 - $40 million for the project. He'll make $15 a day ... as a juror. We've learned Downey is an alternate juror in a car accident case which is being tried in L.A. Downey has been there since Monday, and the jury won't even start deliberating until Friday. As for how he got selected, one source connected with the case tells us, "Everyone just thought he was a fair guy." He didn't make a big deal he's a movie star. To the contrary, he identified himself only as Robert Downey and said he was in the film industry. We're told Downey's been super friendly and attentive during the trial. It's not exactly a riveting case. Two biomechanical engineers are testifying, along with both drivers, and 4 eyewitnesses. The injuries were not horrific ... we're told best case scenario the case is worth $50k. The lawyers asked only a few questions before settling on the actor. He assured them neither he nor anyone in his family was in a car crash that resulted in injury. One source connected with the case said, "He actually seems happy to be here." Hey ... it beats "Due Date." (TMZ)

Lil Wayne violently coldcocked a bouncer who was trying to do his job ... so claims the doorman, who's getting ready to sue the rapper. The bouncer's attorney -- Arsineh Aghakhani from Los Angeles City Law -- says she's preparing the lawsuit against Lil Wayne for battery after her client claims the rapper attacked him while working the door last month at Hyde nightclub for a BET Awards after-party. We're told Weezy's entourage was upset they got searched, and after an argument erupted ... Wayne allegedly came from behind and punched the bouncer in the face. Wayne's bodyguards also allegedly shoved the staffer up against a wall ... and we're told he suffered a dislocated jaw and shoulder injury. Actress and poker champ Jennifer Tilly is getting death threats from some creep who has the Orlando nightclub massacre on the brain. Law enforcement in L.A. tells us they got a call from Tilly last month when the suspect tweeted a photoshopped pic of her head next to a bloody knife ... with the message, "funny memes about the massacre in Orlando," and "kill the @Jtillathekilla2" -- which is Tilly's username. According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, the suspect posted several other images of decapitated people on his or her page with a caption about beheading women, written in Portuguese. The "Family Guy" and "Monsters, Inc." star told cops the posts made her scared for her family's safety as well. Our law enforcement sources say they've determined the suspect is located out of country and poses no immediate threat, but cops will be keeping an eye on the situation. (TMZ)

George Clooney just got legal protection from a mentally unstable guy who waged a war of harassment against the actor, his wife and others ... the question -- will it stop the guy? Mark Bibbee sent 189 pages of rambling, delusional and disturbing documents to Clooney's team, among other things making veiled threats against the actor and Amal. Among the emails ... reference to an assassination plot against George H.W. Bush and the JonBenet Ramsey murder. According to the docs, Bibbee has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and possible schizophrenia. There's a disturbing reference to the Orlando massacre, in which Bibbee writes, "Orlando is a false flag event to cover for LGBT criminal & pedophiles." The judge ordered Bibbee to stay 100 yards away from Clooney, Amal and his team for 5 years and to cease all other contact. Clooney and Amal are currently at their home in Italy and seem unfazed. As for Bibbee, he's currently in a psych ward. The problem with these restraining orders ... the people whose conduct judges are trying to curb are the least likely to comprehend and obey. (TMZ)

The 15-year-old girl voice of "Dora the Explorer" attempted to bully a classmate into smoking by calling her a p**** ... according to a lawsuit filed the classmate's parents. The parents just filed new docs in the suit which include quotes from the anonymous student describing the encounter. She says Fatima Ptacek was encouraging her to smoke a vape pen. The girl says, "I told her I didn't want to, but she called me a 'p -- y' and my competitive side kicked in." In the docs, the girl adds Ptacek "said some very unkind, hurtful things that in the moment made me feel vulnerable." The girl's parents are pissed because after the incident their daughter was expelled from her $40,000/year Manhattan private school, while Ptacek merely got a 3 week suspension ... according to the NY Post. They are suing the school, claiming it played favorites and made their daughter the "scapegoat." (TMZ)

Craig Morgan's Son Jerry Greer's Funeral Plans Revealed. A funeral for Jerry Greer, the 19-year-old son of country singer Craig Morgan, is set to take place this Saturday, days after the teen was found dead following a boating accident. Authorities found the teen's body near the Tennessee River basin Monday. He was previously reported missing following a boating accident on Kentucky Lake in Humphreys County, Tennessee. Authorities said Jerry and a friend had gone tubing, and had worn life jackets. The two were thrown from their raft. Jerry's friend survived. His funeral will take place Saturday at a church in Nashville, while visitation services will be held a day earlier, according to his obituary. "Jerry Michael Hardy Greer...was the smile that instantly lit up any room," it reads. "He was a superstar without even trying. He was a natural athlete that accomplished what most spend a lifetime attempting to achieve. He was a devoted and dedicated son, brother and friend. He loved his God, his family, his friends and his country more than anything. His passions were football, soccer and the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by everyone who came in contact with him. He will be forever in our thoughts, in our words, and in our hearts." In addition to Morgan, whose full name is Craig Morgan Greer, Jerry is also survived by his mother and the country singer's wife, Karen Greer, his sister Marisa Davis, niece Bailey and nephew Jameson; his sister Alexandra Beaird, her husband Ryan and nephew Cruze; his brother Kyle Greer and his fiance Chelsea Rogers; and his brother Wyatt Greer. "The family is grateful for the outpouring of support and requests prayers at this time as they privately mourn this terrible loss," the family's rep said earlier this week. The rep added Jerry had recently graduated from Dickson County High School and had planned to play football for Marshall University this fall. His family and friends have established the Jerry Greer Memorial Scholarship, which will "ensure that future athletes of Dickson County High School, particularly those with dyslexia, can celebrate Jerry's life through the opportunities they will receive through this fund." Prince Harry Takes HIV Test Live on Facebook. HIV testing is easy -- just ask Prince Harry. To normalize and destigmatize HIV testing, the 31-year-old prince took a blood test Thursday and live-streamed the process via the British royal family's Facebook page. "It is amazing how quick it is," Prince Harry said after it was over. "So whether you're a man, woman, gay, straight, black or white -- even ginger -- why wouldn't you come an have a test?" Kensington Palace tweeted a few photos, adding, "It's a simple finger prick test and gives a nearly instant result!" Robert Palmer, a lead health adviser and psychosexual counselor, conducted the procedure. Though the prince was "anxious," Palmer praised him for highlighting the cause. "It means this is a test for everybody -- it doesn't matter who you are. It's a good idea to have an HIV test." The prince tested negative. In a press release, Ian Green, Chief Executive of Terrence Higgins Trust, said, "Prince Harry's decision to take an HIV test, live on social media, is a groundbreaking moment in the fight against HIV. Not only does it show His Royal Highness's genuine and personal commitment to tackling the HIV epidemic, it will amplify a message to millions all over the world: testing for HIV is easy, quick and nothing to be feared. We have a real opportunity to end HIV transmissions in the UK, but it starts with each person knowing their HIV status. Too many people are either put off testing by the stigma that still surrounds HIV, or simply do not think HIV is an issue anymore. Prince Harry has got people talking about HIV again and has normalized HIV testing to a global audience. In doing so, he could inspire a generation to take control of their sexual health. Thanks to treatment, testing for HIV could stop you from getting seriously ill, enable you to live a normal lifespan and prevent you from passing the virus on to anyone else. That's why it's so invaluable to have Prince Harry's support as we aim to bust stigma and end the HIV epidemic." Prince Harry is also planning to attend the 21st International AIDS Conference next Wednesday and Thursday. While visiting South Africa for the event, he will meet leaders in the fight against HIV and AIDS and will "highlight the importance of youth leadership" to confront the challenges the disease presents globally, according to a statement issued by royal officials last month. The prince will also share a stage with Elton John, a friend of his late mother, Princess Diana. (Eonline)

Gigi Hadid Scores Her First American Vogue Cover: How It Compares to Her International Editions. Congratulations, Gigi Hadid! The supermodel has scored her very first American Vogue cover, and obviously she looks gorgeous. Posing next to Olympian Ashton Eaton, Gigi stuns in a blue, black and white Versace dress with slicked-back hair. This is actually Gigi's first time covering the U.S. edition of the magazine, and to say she's excited would be putting it lightly. "An ultimate dream come true, I am beyond humbled. Shooting my first American @voguemagazine cover, in my hometown, was so surreal," she wrote on Instagram. Of course, this is hardly Gigi's first time working with Vogue and Anna Wintour. The 21-year-old bombshell has covered various covers of the magazine's international editions, including British Vogue, Vogue Netherlands, Vogue Paris and more. So, how does her American cover stack up to her international ones? Let's just see. Lookin' chic, Gigi! The model donned strips and a chapeau for her British Vogue cover. Keeping it casual, Gigi looked beautiful in her fall wear. Feeling blue! Gigi opted for a completely different look for Vogue Italia. Wearing a bright blue wig and large blue-stone rings, Gigi gives fans a close-up look at her famous face. Only Gigi could manage to pull of looking grunge/exhausted at the same time. Gigi kept the cover of Vogue Netherlands low key with jeans, a T-shirt and a gorgeous blazer to balance her wild hair. This is probably the image that comes to mind when people say, "Less is more." On the cover of Vogue Australia, Gigi looked au naturel with minimal makeup and a simple white dress. Do the French do it best? Gigi posed for not one, but two covers for Vogue Paris, and in one she's completely naked. That's a lot of Gigi. While the star has posed in various ways for multiple covers, they do have one thing in common: No matter what she wears or how she's styled, she looks gorgeous! (Eonline)

Gabrielle Union Reacts to Dwyane Wade's Nude Pics in ESPN's Body Issue. Former Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade turned up the temperature with his nude photo shoot in ESPN The Magazine -- and his wife, Gabrielle Union, thinks he looked "hot!" The Being Mary Jane star couldn't stop gushing over the Chicago Bulls player's perfect physique when E! News caught up with her at the magazine's celebration of its eighth annual Body Issue Tuesday night. "That's what I see every day," Union said. "He looks just as good going as he does coming. It's a good time." Taking it off for the cover was a big deal, but as Wade explained, "It was tastefully done." Still, he confessed, "I was a little bit nervous about it." When the offer came in to pose naked, the NBA player decided it was now or never. "I'm all about trying different things and getting outside my box," he said. "I said no for multiple, multiple years, but eventually I thought it was cool to be 34 years old and still be asked to be on the cover of this issue." But why was Wade so nervous initially? Like most people, he has insecurities about his body. And in the magazine's recently published cover story, Wade acknowledged that some people may look at him and wonder why he would be insecure about his athletic body. "Well, this is real life and I'm human," he explained, "and these are the things that I deal with that many others might deal with." Wade was most insecure as a child over his outie belly button. In fact, he never wanted to take off his shirt as a child. However, he grew more comfortable with himself over the years and learned to stand in his "naked truth" -- which, ironically, is also the tagline of his underwear collection. Confidence looks good on Wade, who seemed anything but anxious at Tuesday's event. "Dwayne was super friendly as people came up to chat and take photos with him," a fellow partygoer tells E! News. "He was smiling the entire time." (Eonline)

Talk about ridiculous! There's no doubt that Lena Dunham is NOT afraid to share her opinion when it comes to anything remotely controversial, but accusing a college of cultural appropriation by serving sushi seems a bit much! The Girls star recently sat down with Food & Wine magazine about Oberlin College, where the comedienne graduated in 2008. During the chat, the actress talked a bit about her school and supporting their cause of calling out the "insensitive" use of Japanese food on the campus. The 30-year-old even said: "There are now big conversations at Oberlin, where I went to college, about cultural appropriation and whether the dining hall sushi and banh mi disrespect certain cuisines. The press reported it as, 'How crazy are Oberlin kids?' But to me, it was actually, 'Right on.'" To be fair the students of the Ohio-based University do have some specifics regarding their protest that began back in November. A group of the outraged students, some international, pointed out things about the sushi like undercooked rice as well as other Vietnamese and Japanese dishes that were made in "disrespectful" ways. One woman, Clover Lihn Tran, wrote about the students' issues with the food saying Bon Appetit, the food service vendor: "has a history of blurring the line between culinary diversity and cultural appropriation by modifying the recipes without respect for certain Asian countries' cuisines. This uninformed representation of cultural dishes has been noted by a multitude of students, many of who have expressed concern over the gross manipulation of traditional recipes." Everyone certainly has the right to be outraged, but do you think Lena should have chimed in?! (Perez Hilton)

Aside from being spitting images of each other, Arnold Schwarzenegger and son Joseph Baena are a tandem duo. The father-son pair were spotted enjoying a bike ride in Venice, California on Wednesday. Schwarzenegger, 68, and Baena, 18, were all smiles as they rode their own two-wheelers in their casual T-shirts and shorts. They were seen outside Gold's Gym where they often work out together. Joseph is the son of Mildred Baena, Schwarzenegger's former housekeeper who he had an affair with when married to ex-wife Maria Shriver. The actor also has four children with Shriver: Katherine, 26, Christina, 24, Patrick, 22, and Christopher, 18. (People)

"Ryan Raftery's Watch What Happens -- Live on Stage!" -- inspired by Cohen's 2012 memoir -- is about a young Cohen obsessed with Anderson Cooper. Former Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld and Stephen Gan -- her partner in high-end fashion publication CR Fashion Book -- have not been seen socializing together at fashion shows, prompting buzz of a rift. A source told us the pair "had a major falling out," and that things have gotten so bad, they're only speaking through lawyers these days. But while a source close to the dashing fashion duo admitted to us, "They weren't sitting together at some shows because [Gan] didn't attend," the insider insisted that "they are working together more than ever. They just finished CR Fashion Book Issue 9, and worked on a [Harper's Bazaar] 'Icons' shoot in Paris a few weeks ago." The source added, "Lawyers are there for business .?.?. but they are good friends who still speak to each other and there is no drama." The pair declined to comment. Their new issue comes out Sept. 15, with pics of Joan Smalls and Fernanda Ly by Mario Sorrenti. Page Six reported in 2014 that Gan and Cecilia Dean, his partner in V magazines, abruptly parted ways. Kristen Stewart said she wanted to shave her head and get (even more) tattooed two years ago but has now appeared on Jimmy Fallon to say she's done just that. Well, the latter anyway. Fallon asked her about her blonde hair color and she said, "For the first time ever, I changed my hair for not a role." She continued: "'Cause I had a little bit of time off, and I was like, 'I'm gonna scrape my knees and possibly get a bunch more tattoos and, like, shave my head,' and I settled on lesser forms of all that." So, what is her new tattoo? It's the famous phrase "one more time with feeling" and is inked along the inside of her forearm. She explained she chose this particular phrase because it's what directors always say to actors but it's a good metaphor for life. She says "I love that phrase because... you can always try again with everything you do." Deep, but we like it. (British Glamour)

Shemar Moore's 11 seasons worth of tardiness finally paid off for his "Criminal Minds" co-workers ... who just got laced up with some pricey and ironic gifts from the actor. Shemar left the show last year, but sources on set tell us he surprised his old cast and crew by showing up this week with 379 Swiss made Fortis watches. Each one has his initials and "always on time" stamped on the face -- a clear nod to Shemar NEVER being on time. They ain't cheap -- a regular Fortis costs anywhere between $600 to $1500, but maybe he got a deal for buying in bulk. (TMZ)

Peyton Manning tells TMZ Sports he was very impressed with LeBron, Carmelo, D-Wade and CP3 -- saying their passionate ESPYs speech was not only excellent ... but effective. The NFL legend was leaving LeBron's after-party at Le Jardin in Hollywood when we asked about the powerful opening moment at the award show. The 4 NBA stars spoke out against gun violence and racial profiling -- and challenged the athletes in the room to get involved in their communities to help solve the problem. Peyton says he got the message loud and clear. (TMZ)

Miles Teller Debuted Blond Hair at the ESPYs and Twitter Was Ruthless. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. Miles Teller could've benefitted from hearing that adage before dyeing his hair blond because after debuting his new look at the ESPYs Wednesday night Twitter went crazy. The Whiplash star lightened up his locks -- and his eyebrows -- and it did not go over well with the Internet. Although there are some Teller fans who stood by his side, tweeting that he was "working that blonde hair," most people were not about his new look, and made sure to let the rest of the Twittersphere know. Here are some of Twitter's harshest reactions to Teller's new look. It's unclear whether Teller's hairstyle change is for a new role or just a personal choice, but it seems he has had it for a while. About three weeks ago his girlfriend, Keleigh Sperry, shared a cute PDA pic of the two enjoying a spa day. In the picture it's clear Teller already has the blond tresses. Sorry, Teller fans, it seems like The Spectacular Now star is going to continue to rock this look. (Eonline)

Some of the music industry's biggest names have united in a powerful PSA to raise awareness of racial injustice in America. Following the recent tragic police killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, a group of celebrities including Beyonce, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Drake and many others have joined forces in creating a PSA, stating '23 Ways You Could Be Killed If You Are Black In America'. The heart-breaking video draws attention to the horrific reasons black people have been murdered by police with aims of putting an end to systematic racism in the United States. Alicia keys lists "failing to signal a lane change" as a reason, referring to the police murder of Sandra Bland last year, while Beyonce states "riding in your girlfriend's car with a child in the back" as the reason behind the recent murder of Philando Castile last week. After all reasons are listed by the stars, Keys, who helped organize the video as part of her We Are Here Movement, concludes it with a strong message, saying: "We demand radical transformation to heal the long history of systemic racism," she says, "so that all Americans have the equal right to live and to pursue happiness." Justin Timberlake Honors Retired Athletes Kobe Bryant, Peyton Manning & Abby Wambach at 2016 ESPYs. Justin Timberlake took the stage at the 2016 ESPY Awards to honor former Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant, Denver Broncos' recent Super Bowl-winning quarterback Peyton Manning and Olympic gold medalist and pro soccer player Abby Wambach for their contributions to their respective sports over the years. By first reliving each athlete's triumphant career, the audience witnessed three packages highlighting the beginning, middle and end of their journeys. During these clips, fans described memorable moments, achievements, devastating injuries, astonishing comebacks and their last moments in the sport. Afterwards, Timberlake presented Manning, Wombach and Bryant with the Icon Award. "This is a great night, and to be recognized along with two legends is very special," Manning said. "Watching those films, all I could think about was how fortunate the three of us, and really of us in this room, are, because really sports wouldn't mean nothing without the fans" He continued, "Now that my time is up as a player, I'm looking forward to being a fan again." Wambach echoed similar sentiments, telling the crowd that it's "such an honor to be up here," and then telling her fellow recipients, "you guys are my heroes." The pro female athlete admitted, "I never wanted to be completely defined by my sport. I wanted people to see who I was underneath...to appreciate me as a person, not just as an athlete," and concludes that she is the most proud of leaving a legacy that promotes equal opportunity. "I'm excited as I've ever been to see what's next." Once Kobe was up to speak, he was greeted with crowd chanting his name. "It's amazing to be standing here," he said. "I have a lot of respect for these two. I know the sacrifices that went along with standing here today...We're up here because we had a dream and let nothing stand in our way... We were never satisfied, never finished, we'll never be retired." Kobe then shared a quote he always admired that was first given to him by his high school English teacher: "Rest at the end not in the middle." He said, "I believe there's time for resting at the end, but for me, this is not the end," Bryant exclaimed, noting that he wants to get involved with inspiring the next generation of athletes and sports fans. On the red carpet, Bryant joked that he's using this time off to work on strengthening his house work. "I'm [working on my] ironing skills and washing the dishes." His wife, Vanessa, added, "He still needs to learn how to pick up after himself." "It's [about] having a Mamba mentality carried through house chores as well," Bryant joked. (Eonline)

Craig Sager Promises He "Will Never Give Up" When Accepting the Jimmy V Award at 2016 ESPYs. Wednesday night was the night to celebrate one of sports' most beloved sideline reporters. Yes, we're talking about Craig Sager. Vice President Joe Biden appeared at the 2016 ESPY Awards to honor the broadcaster with the Jimmy V Award. "By his conduct, he teaches us how to live with perseverance and passion," he shared with the audience. "[He is] fearless, hopeful, together." With tears in his eyes, Craig appeared on stage to thank his wife also known as his "heaven on earth" as well as his sports family. "If there's anything I've learned through all of this, it's that each and every day is an opportunity for fun, for love, for living, for learning," he shared. "To those out there who are suffering from cancer, facing adversity, I want you to know that your will to live can make all the difference in the world. The way you think influences the way you feel and the way you feel determines how you act." As for Craig himself, the broadcaster expressed his positivity at what could come with his battle including the hope that he will continue to "watch those amazing feats" from athletes. "I always see the glass half full. I see the beauty in others and I see the hope in tomorrow," he explained. "If we don't have hope or faith, we have nothing. I will never give up and I will never give in. I will continue to keep fighting." Basketball fans easily know Craig as the sideline reporter for Turner Sports who can always win big with his bright, colorful suits. They also know his brave two-year fight with acute myeloid leukemia that Sports Illustrated highlighted on a recent cover issue. When the article was published in April, Craig had undergone two bone marrow transplants, 21 bone marrow biopsies and more than 20 chemo cycles. "A patient who battles this past a year is amazing," said his doctor, Naveen Pemmaraju. "What he's done is almost miraculous." Craig's health also caught the attention of players and NBA officials. Dwight Howard hosted a blood drive for the reporter, Steph Curry interrupted an interview to call Craig an "inspiration" and Commissioner Adam Silver even came to visit him in the hospital. "You're as important to the NBA as players or coaches or owners," Adam shared with Craig. "There is no one else like him. I can't even keep him. He has so much energy," his wife Stacy Sager shared during the show. "He's so positive and so caring for people all the time. It's his turn to receive the love." (Eonline)

Muhammad Ali Remembered as "the Greatest" in Powerful 2016 ESPY Awards Tribute. "The greatest" boxer may have just received the most moving tribute at the 2016 ESPY Awards. During Wednesday night's telecast at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Muhammad Ali wasn't just honored during the "In Memoriam" portion of the show. He also received a musical tribute from Chance the Rapper and thoughtful words from close friend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The basketball legend looked back at the very first time he met the Olympic medalist on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles where he was performing magic tricks for strangers walking by. "I think that encounter epitomized everything that made Ali, at that point in time, the most famous man in the world," he explained to the crowd that included Muhammad's family. "His showmanship. His ubiquitousness. It just seemed like he was everywhere. And most of all, his magic." "That ability to make the impossible seem real. Every athlete handles fame in their own way," he continued. "Some people revel in it. Some people aren't so comfortable with it. Muhammad Ali used it to speak his mind." Kareem told the audience and viewers at home that he hopes people of all ages will ultimately remember his fearless fight to help solve injustices and important causes close to his heart. "We're never going to see his likes again walking down the street," he explained. "But I hope his death spurs his successors to remember what truly made him the greatest." Wednesday night's tribute comes more than two weeks after Laila Ali and Jamie Foxx remembered the athlete at the 2016 BET Awards. During the awards show, Muhammad's youngest daughter shared her greatest memories of the Olympic medalist. "As my dad grew older, he evolved in his mind, his heart, and his spirit," Laila shared while holding back tears. "But one thing that never changed was his love and gratitude for all people." "My father also once said if people love each other as much as they love me, it would be a better world," she continued. "If he was here today, he would humbly ask you to pray not just for our family, but for all of mankind." (Eonline)

John Cena Brings the Funny While Hosting the 2016 ESPY Awards. OK, John Cena. We see you. Some may have been thrown off-guard with the network's choice to have the wrestler host Wednesday night's ESPY Awards (something even Cena pokes fun of during the show), but the E! star came out swingin' with some great one-liners and memorable zingers. The best was when Cena couldn't help but laugh at his own jokes. And believe us when we say, nobody was safe from being called out Wednesday night. Following a somber and powerful speech by NBA's Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James on the recent tragedies and injustice involving law enforcement and people of color, Cena took the stage to kick off the show with an impressive monologue. Right off the bat, the emcee of Wednesday night's show poked fun at the NBA draft, the 2016 summer Olympics and why he's hosting, "instead of someone else like Kevin Hart." He explains that the WWE is scripted (spoiler alert!) and so, there's a lot of crossover with professional sports. For example, "Cleveland won something," he says, and adds that the Cleveland Cavaliers winning the NBA Championship must have been scripted, because there's no way that actually happened. Cena also points to Peyton Manning's love story with the NFL, Odell Beckham's look, Tim Duncan's retirement ("He announces it in the middle of the night in the off-season, what a diva right?") and other various sports moments that seem fit for entertainment. This all led to the host to conclude, "Maybe on the night when sport meets entertainment, they got the perfect host" During a skit later in the show, Cena and his casting agent go through auditions to try and find a childlike Riley Curry for a memorable press conference, and, well, he couldn't choose just one, so he had a bunch of little cuties that totally stole the show. Cena also did an outstanding job in his ability to turn his comedian hat off and get serious. There were a number of emotional moments throughout the night, including the tribute to Zaevoion Dobson, Jimmy V Award recipient Craig Sager's empowering speech, and the musical tribute to Muhammad Ali. All in all, we've gotta say, John Cena may not have been the obvious choice, but he was a good one. (Eonline)

Bethany Hamilton Backs Out of ESPY Nomination for Best Female Athlete With a Disability. Bethany Hamilton won't be gracing the ESPYs stage with her presence Wednesday night. The 26-year-old professional surfer has withdrawn her nomination for Best Female Athlete With a Disability, E! News has learned. She had been previously announced as a nominee along with marathon racer Tatyana McFadden, volleyball player Heather Erickson, cross-country skier Oksana Masters and cyclist Shawn Morelli, but Hamilton's name no longer appears on the voter page. "Bethany expressed to ESPN that she was appreciative of the nomination but didn't feel it was a good fit for her, so ESPN removed her from the category upon her request," ESPN tells E! News in a statement. E! News has reached out to the ESPYs and Hamilton for comment. Hamilton previously won an ESPY in 2004 for the Best Comeback Athlete Award after surviving a shark attack when she was just 13 years old. On October 31, 2003, Hamilton went for a morning surf along Tunnels Beach, Kauai, and was lying on her surfboard with her left arm dangling in the water, when a 14-foot tiger shark attacked her. "I felt a lot of pressure and a couple of lightning fast tugs," Bethany wrote on her website. "Then I watched in shock as the water around me turned bright red. Somehow, I stayed calm. My left arm was gone almost to the armpit, along with a huge crescent-shaped chunk of my red, white and blue surfboard..." The attack took her right arm, but that didn't stop her from surfing or telling her story in a professional way. She went on to write a memoir, Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on The Board that was adapted into a feature film. The pro surfer also took home the Favorite Comeback Athlete award at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in 2014. "Cause immmm HAPPY!!!!!" Hamilton tweeted after receiving the award. Hamilton has proven her athleticism time and time again. She and husband Adam Dirks competed on The Amazing Race together in 2014. (Eonline)

Brace yourselves... a Spice Girls song has leaked ahead of their 20th anniversary. Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner teased they were planning something - seemingly without other members Victoria Beckham and Mel C - in honor of the group's 20th anniversary and it has now emerged they have recorded their first new material in nine years, a track called Song For Her. According to The Sun, the song explores the way the trio have sometimes felt they have lost their Spice Girls identities due to their lives as parents. Lyrics include: "Wipe up your tears of doubt you have been crying, lift up your dreams feel like you're flying, never forget the girl is the woman you are." A source said: "Obviously the girls have been recording in the studio over the past few months. "The plan is very much for there to be new music. "It will not be released under the GEM name that they gave themselves in their announcement, this is still very much the Spice Girls. "It's a Spice Girls song through and through and it's something millions of their fans will be able to relate to having grown up with them. "You can guarantee as soon as it's released they will be back at the top of the charts where they belong, with or without Mel C or Victoria." Earlier this week, Mel B dodged questions as to whether or not Mel C and Victoria will be joining her, Geri and Emma in their reunion. Asked directly if Victoria is out of the group, she told Access Hollywood Live: "I think between the five of us, we're always going to be the Spice Girls. "But right now who you see saying thank you [in the video] are the ones going to be hurrying it all along." Later in the interview, Mel was again pressed on whether the others will be back, but simply teased they have some "interesting" things on the way. She said: "You know what? All will be revealed very, very soon. "We have a few interesting things that we will be sharing with everybody, or the people that want to know. It's gonna be very interesting." Brace yourselves. Fan Army Face-Off: Rihanna's Navy Battles 5 Seconds of Summer's #5SOSFAM. In this week's showdown for Billboard's Fan Army Face-Off, Rihanna's Navy takes on 5 Seconds of Summer's #5SOSFAM. Boy bands are known to have the craziest fandoms, but with a nearly 20,000-vote lead, the Navy might be too strong for the Australian group's mega-following. With only five years under their belt, pop/rock band 5 Seconds of Summer first started rallying fans on YouTube. The boy band gained more traction with their Billboard 200 No. 2 EP She Looks So Perfect and their self-titled debut album 5 Seconds of Summer. The boys received the support of One Direction, joining their Take Me Home Tour in 2013 and Where We Are Tour in 2014. Since, the #5SOSFAM has brought the Australian heartthrobs worldwide stardom. Rihanna's Navy, on the other hand, is more than a decade in the making. Rihanna was first recognized as a top-selling dance-pop artist with her hit "Pon de Replay" in 2005 from her debut studio album Music of the Sun. The pop star's third studio album Good Girl Gone Bad (2007) was RiRi's start as a charts regular. It was Rihanna's 2012 appearance in the film Battleship that coined the fan army's name The Navy. Within the last year, Rihanna released Anti (which peaked at No. 1) and started the Anti World Tour. While the Navy sees their commander as the "Only Girl (In the World)," the #5SOSFAM "Don't Stop" when it comes to supporting their favorite mates. There are three days left for the current round of Billboard's Fan Army Face-Off -- vote for your fave now! (Billboard)

Meghan Trainor on How Christina Grimmie's Tragic Death Impacted Her: 'She Was So Sweet'. In light of the tragic death of Christina Grimmie and debates surrounding gun control and security in America, Meghan Trainor is balancing her personal safety and the happiness of her fans -- but not without trepidation. "Last show I did in Buffalo, I went out after," she says. "It kind of slowed down and everyone was leaving. I went out and said hi to some fans. My heart was beating and I was like, 'You got this, you're okay.' And I saw my team circled around us subtly. I was like, 'There's my manager, there's my security, there's my brother, and there's my assistant, and they're all protecting me.' And I was like, 'We can do this.' And we did it until the last person left." The specter of The Voice star's murder at the hands of a fan in June made Trainor question at first whether she felt comfortable opening herself up to the potential of danger: "I was like, 'Guys I can't do this anymore.' Because of [Christina]." But she cherishes the connection with her devoted Megatrons. "Sometimes I get to meet real personal fans that have written me an essay and they want to just give it to me," says Trainor. "And so I love those moments. But it was scary." Trainor has a soft spot for Grimmie, who took time to connect before "All About That Bass" was an international smash. "I knew of her really well. In high school I would always follow her YouTube page," the pop star recalls. "And I commented in high school, and she commented back, and I was like, 'Mom! A celebrity commented on my page!' I was freaking out. I was stoked." The two eventually crossed paths, as Meghan went from writing behind the scenes to standing front and center on stage. "I met her at some radio show I did like my first year. And I was like, 'Dude, I followed your YouTube and you commented!' She was like, 'What? You know who I am?' She was so sweet." Trainor is mostly apolitical -- "I've never voted and I don't have any desire to," she reveals in her new Billboard cover story -- but firmly believes America needs gun-control reform. "I think it's ridiculous that random crazy people can buy guns. I think it's absurd," she insists. "Like I had friends from London that are like, 'This is why I'll never live over here.' I'm like, 'Why? What's wrong?' They're like, 'You have guns.' I'm like, 'Oh, yeah, it's pretty bad.'" In fact, the singer was among almost 200 artists and music execs who signed Billboard's open letter to Congress asking to stop gun violence. Read the letter here. Read Meghan Trainor's full cover story here, where she discusses fame, writing hits and being looked up to by girls everywhere. (Billboard)

One Direction, PJ Harvey Join New UK Industry Alliance Advocating for Secondary Ticketing Regulation. A consortium of forty British managers, trade bodies, agents and promoters has launched a fresh campaign against the secondary ticketing market. The FanFair Alliance was launched July 14 in London, backed by the managers of One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Chvrches, Noel Gallagher, Maiden, Mumford, Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood and PJ Harvey. U.K. trade bodies AIM, the Featured Artists Coalition (FAC), Music Managers Forum (MMF) and British Academy of Songwriters, Composers & Authors (BASCA) are also supporting the enterprise, which is calling on the newly-formed British government to take stronger action against secondary ticketing platforms that breach U.K. consumer regulations. Earlier this year, a government-led review chaired by Professor Michael Waterson found that the four leading secondary platforms in the U.K. -- Viagogo, StubHub and Seatwave and Get Me In! -- were failing to comply with British law, which stipulates that secondary ticket vendors are required to provide consumers with details about a ticket's original face value, any restrictions it contains and information on its seat number and block/row. In response, Waterson made nine recommendations, including stronger penalties and the possibility of court proceedings for platforms that continue to break the law, as well as an investigation into secondary ticketing practices. Those motions are supported by the FanFair Alliance, which also says greater scrutiny is needed of resale sites and the identification of professional traders operating on sites like Viagogo and eBay-owned StubHub. It additionally calls for the use of botnets to purchase tickets to become a criminal offence. To support its argument that secondary ticketing sites are operating outside the law, the FanFair Alliance has submitted evidence to the Competition and Markets Authority that identifies nearly 12,000 tickets for Black Sabbath's 2017 seven night U.K. arena tour that were listed on re-sale sites within minutes of general sale. Of those 12,000 tickets, large numbers were found to be in breach of the consumer rights legislation, say organizers, who estimate that sales across the U.K.'s four biggest secondary ticketing vendors total more than £1 billion ($ billion) a year. "Our artists are tarnished by fans thinking that they are being ripped off by tickets at inflated prices. The whole market has really got out of control and is not in any way regulated," One Direction manager Harry Magee tells Billboard just after the FanFair launch. "We accept that there is always going to be a secondary market and there is going to be greed in certain sectors. What we're trying to do is create a fairer, more level playing field for the actual fans," he goes on to say. "We simply want the regulations that are there to be enforced by the consumer rights bodies. And that's to do with the original price of tickets being displayed on [secondary] sites, where the seat is and [for vendors] to be very transparent and clear on who they are and what it is they are selling." "It's perfectly legal to resell a ticket," countered a spokesperson for Viagogo. "We believe once you've bought something -- whether that's a house, a car, or a ticket - it's up to you what you do with it and the majority of Brits agree with us. Our policy remains that we open a marketplace for any event tickets that have been purchased and are in the public domain." The British government has until July 21 to respond to the recommendations set out in Professor Waterson's review. (Billboard)

Lorde Made Some 'Exciting Breakthroughs' on Her Album During a Wilderness Walkabout. At this point, whatever it takes for Lorde to make progress on the follow-up to her instant-classic 2013 debut, Pure Heroine is fine with us. And it appears the singer made some big strides recently during a three-day singular walkabout in the woods, where she had some revelations about what's next. In an encouraging tweet on Wednesday night, Lorde said she was helicopter dropped into the wilderness alone recently, where she made the "most exciting breakthroughs" on the album so far. That certainly beats the previous tweet from a few hours before, where she admitted that she was a bit embarrassed that she ordered a dress and had it delivered to producer/collaborator Jack Antonoff's place. (She just said "Jack," but given the string of tweets and photos of the two together as they work on the as-yet-untitled, unscheduled album it seems safe to assume it's Antonoff.) Either way, we know she's been hard at it all summer, posting three weeks ago that she and Antonoff "really crushed it at work this week." (Billboard)

David Bowie's Art Collection to Be Displayed, Then Sold. David Bowie's extensive private art collection is to be sold at auction. With a keen eye for fine art and modern British classics, the music legend amassed a collection of more than 400 items over his lifetime. Bowie's haul features more than 200 paintings by "many of the most important British artists of the 20th Century," from Frank Auerbach to Damien Hirst, Henry Moore and Graham Sutherland, notes Sotherby's, which will publicly display the pieces for the first time this November. The works will then go under the hammer in a three-part sale, and are expected to collectively fetch more than $13 million. "Art was, seriously, the only thing I'd ever wanted to own," the late music star told the New in 1998. "It can change the way that I feel in the mornings." The Bowie/Collector collection will be exhibited from Nov. 1-10 at Sotheby's New Bond Street galleries in London, and review exhibitions will be held in New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Bowie died Jan. 10 after a battle with cancer. He was 69. Just two days prior, he released what turned out to be his final LP, Blackstar. The album was a critical and commercial success, debuting atop the Billboard 200 chart to give the iconic singer his first U.S. No. 1. (Billboard)

Tom Hiddleston Puts on His Loki Wig in Thor: Ragnarok Dressing Room for a UNICEF Video. Welcome back, Loki. With the help of an assistant, Tom Hiddleston puts on his Marvel character's iconic, long black wig in a new video shot in his dressing room on the Australian set of Thor: Ragnarok -- and for a great cause! The clip was filmed to raise awareness for UNICEF's #EmergencyLessons campaign. Hiddleston, one of the international charity's celebrity Goodwill Ambassadors, talks a film the group shot in Guinea, featuring friends M'mah & Adamah, who survived an Ebola outbreak. The epidemic had prompted many schools in the area to close but with the help of a program co-sponsored by UNICEF and the EU, the girls were able to continue their education, according to the European Union Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection group. In the video, Hiddleston also reveals his favorite school activity -- acting in plays. "I'm still doing it for a living, as you can see," the British star says. "The Loki wig is on. He's back. See you soon." In May, UNICEF released an #EmergencyLessons campaign video of Hiddleston sharing a school photo of him at age 4. "Please try not to make fun of my hair," he said. Hiddleston has been involved with UNICEF for years and visited Guinea on a charity-sponsored trip more than three years ago. "It's become immediately clear that the problems in a developing country such as Guinea are enormous, but they can be simply defined as water, nutrition, sanitation, vaccination and education," he wrote in a UNICEF U.K. blog in January 2013. "Above all else, the children, who will inherit the future, and shape the future of this country-need clean water, iron, minerals, vitamins, inoculation against disease, and education." Hiddleston arrived in Australia last week. His participation in Thor: Ragnarok, the third movie in the series, marks the fourth time he will play Loki, the Asgardian god of mischief and brother of Thor, on the big screen, following appearances in Thor, Thor: The Dark World and The Avengers. The new film also stars returning Marvel actors Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Hopkins as their dad Odin, Idris Elba as Heimdall and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk, as well as newcomers Karl Urban of Star Trek fame as Asgardian supervillain Skurge, Cate Blanchett as Hela, the Asgardian goddess of death, and Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, a member of the supervillain group the Elders of the Universe. Thor: Ragnarok is set for release in November 2017. (Eonline)

'Jason Bourne' Secures China Release Date. The release date is further evidence that Chinese regulators are relaxing their prior policy of blocking Hollywood films from the market during the blockbuster summer months. Universal's Jason Bourne has scored a release in China on Tuesday, Aug. 23, about three weeks after its North American debut. The studio revealed the date over Chinese social media service Weibo, adding, and "Sorry to make you wait so long!" Earlier industry buzz had suggested the latest Bourne picture would debut in China in early September. The August date is further evidence that Chinese regulators are relaxing their prior policy of blocking Hollywood films from the market during the peak blockbuster season of July and August. The notorious policy was designed to give local Chinese productions a boost by clearing out competition. But the Bourne bow will come shortly after the China release of Universal's Secret Life of Pets, which opens on Aug. 2. After the Chinese box office suffered an unexpected slowdown this Spring, insiders say regulators may be bringing in a few Hollywood titles over the summer to hedge against the possible continued under-performance of local movies. The fifth film in the Bourne series marks the return of Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass to the franchise. The prior installment, The Bourne Legacy (2012), starred Jerry Renner and was directed by Tony Gilroy. Alicia Vikander, Tommy Lee Jones and Vincent Cassel make their Bourne debuts in the new movie. Damon's star is on the rise in China. His last major release, The Martian, was a big hit in China, grossing $94.9 million. Following Jason Bourne, he'll next appear in Great Wall, the biggest China-U.S. co-production ever made. Directed by Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou and produced by Legendary Entertainment, Le Vision Pictures and China Film Group, the high-concept sci-fi monster spectacle was shot in China on a budget of $160 million. It opens in the U.S. on Feb. 17, 2017. (Hollywood Reporter)

Why the 'Pokemon Go' Phenomenon Makes a Hollywood Movie Deal Less Likely. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have their hands full with the global launch of the hugely successful game app and a number of other ventures. The phenomenal success of the Pokemon Go augmented reality (AR) app, the biggest mobile game in U.S. history, has reignited interest in a Hollywood live-action movie based on the globally popular franchise. But the smash hit may actually make a movie less likely to come to fruition in the near future as Nintendo and The Pokemon Company concentrate on leveraging the success of the game into profits. One U.S.-based producer involved in the race to license the franchise said, "Pokemon Co. and Nintendo are not focused on movie rights currently," and that, "the company doesn't want a movie deal distracting its execs, nor does it want a deal to potentially detract from the game. They view a movie deal only as a downside at this stage." A licensing deal, likely to be in the $5 to $10 million range, would be inconsequential compared to the potential earnings from Pokemon Go. In Thursday morning trading in Tokyo, Nintendo stock was up another 9 percent, taking its gains since the launch of Pokemon Go last week to 65 percent and adding approximately $12.8 billion to the valuation of the company. Nintendo is set to cash in through its stakes in The Pokemon Company and in Niantic Labs, the San Francisco-based developer of Pokemon Go. The Pokemon Go app is free to download, but players can make in-game purchases to gain advantages, a business model that has proved extremely lucrative in the Japanese mobile gaming sector. The app already has more than 20 million daily users in the U.S., taking it past Twitter's numbers, while the only other markets it has been rolled out in are Australia and New Zealand. The global launch will be expected to add tens of millions of new users, including in Japan, where the franchise has a huge fan base. (According to The Pokemon Company, around 45 percent of total franchise sales, which covers movies, games, cards and a vast array of branded goods, are accounted for by Japan.) Pokemon is also already a successful movie franchise in Japan, where the 18 installments have taken the lion's share of their $735 million in box office. The 19th film in the series, Pokemon the Movie: Volcanion and the Exquisite Magearna, will hit screens in Japan on Friday. Pokemon films are made, as is usual in Japan, by a production committee, which includes The Pokemon Company, anime production house OLM, manga publisher Shogakukan and TV Tokyo-the network that broadcasts the anime series. A source at one of the production committee companies said, "I don't think The Pokemon Company is listening to licensing offers at the moment," but declined to elaborate on the reasons. A spokesperson from The Pokemon Company headquarters in Tokyo wouldn't comment on remake offers from overseas, saying, "we're focused on working with our partners in Japan on the movies here." In April, Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima, a former executive of The Pokemon Company and head of Pokemon USA, told Japan's Asahi Shimbun newspaper that the company was planning to expand its role in the movie business. He hinted in the interview that Nintendo could produce 3D anime films based on popular characters such as Mario and Zelda, but didn't mention Pokemon. The same month, Nintendo announced a sale of the majority of its stake in the Seattle Mariners baseball club, which will reportedly raise more than half a billion dollars. In March, Nintendo announced plans for its first ever theme park, a collaboration with Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in Osaka. Based on Nintendo characters, though there was no mention of Pokemon, investment in the new attraction is reported to be in the range of $500 million, which would make it more expensive than USJ's hugely successful Wizarding World of Harry Potter. All this is likely to mean, much to the chagrin of Hollywood producers chasing the hot Pokemon property, that a licensing deal is way down the list of priorities for the Japanese rights owners. David Koechner to Star in 'Bernard and Huey' From Satirist Jules Feiffer. The film is based on Feiffer's cartoon characters that appeared in the Village Voice and Playboy. David Koechner will star in Bernard and Huey, a movie based on the characters from satirist and screenwriter Jules Feiffer's cartoon strip. The Anchorman alum will play Huey, one-half of the eponymous pair. Feiffer wrote the script for the movie that is based on his comic strip characters, who first appeared in the Village Voice in 1957, with Feiffer later continuing his work for Playboy magazine in the 1980s. Dan Mirvish will direct the film, which follows two old friends and a woman who complicates their life. "I have been a fan of Jules Feiffer's Bernard and Huey cartoons since my youth. I am excited to get the chance to bring a comic strip, middle-aged superhero to life," said Koechner. "I'm very happy to work with the brilliant and curvaceous Mirvish, as well." "I'm thrilled to have an actor of David's depth and talent in the film," said the director. "David's an incredible actor who I know is going to embody Huey in a way that will please both longtime fans of the character, and new filmgoers alike." Mirvish also will produce the film, along with Dana Altman and Bernie Stern. Mike S. Ryan, Elisabeth Jereski, John Feitelson and Jeffry Powell will serve as executive producers. Bernard and Huey is set to begin production in the fall, in both New York and Los Angeles. Feiffer has a successful career as a screenwriter, penning Mike Nichols' Carnal Knowledge and Robert Altman's Popeye adaptation. He also won a Pulitzer in 1986 for editorial cartooning and took home an Oscar in 1961 for best animated short. Koechner's credits include Talladega Nights, Thank You for Smoking and the Anchorman series, and he recently starred in Universal's holiday horror-comedy The Krampus. He is repped by UTA and Brillstein. (Hollywood Reporter)

Kneel Before Negan: The Walking Dead Season 7 Cast Photo Has Everybody Still in Danger. The Walking Dead is here to remind you once again about that cliffhanger that pissed you off so much. The AMC series released its San Diego Comic-Con art work, which it always does, and it features your favorites Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Carl (Chandler Riggs), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), kneeling before Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Don't fret, Lucille, the barbed wire bat, is also there. Season six ended with Negan killing one of the people kneeling in front of him, but viewers saw the death from the character's perspective, so the identity has remained a secret. This cliffhanger riled fans, who were already upset over The Walking Dead's fake-out regarding Glenn earlier in the season. "For some of you, that effort backfired and you're angry. And for that, I'm sorry. The only thing I can PROMISE you is that the season seven premiere is going to be awesome," Robert Kirkman, co-creator of the comic series and executive producer on the show, wrote in an issue of The Walking Dead comic. "And every minute of the season six finale was important and was setting something up that you probably won't see coming...Be afraid...be very afraid. And excited!" For season seven, which returns in October, The Walking Dead has beefed up its cast of series regulars. Morgan, Tom Payne, Xander Berkley and Austin Amelio have all been added to the cast that already includes Lincoln, Reedus, Yeun, Cohah, Riggs, Gurira, Melissa McBride, Cudlitz, Lennie James, Seth Gilliam, Marquand, Austin Nichols, Alanna Masterson, Serratos, McDermitt and Martin-Green. With "Game of Thrones" done for now, some binge-watchers have latched onto a bloody, bawdy substitute. The second season of Netflix's "Marco Polo" jumped to No.?2 on the top 10 digital original series list last week, behind "Orange Is the New Black." Gabriel Byrne and Michelle Yeoh have joined the "Marco Polo" cast, and fans say the show's been less gender-specific in its nudity this season, with male and female cast members such as Olivia Cheng, Laura Prats and Rick Yune taking it all off. Seven months after revealing his HIV-positive status, Charlie Sheen is ready to share his truth ... again. The Emmy-nominated actor, 50, is shopping a reality show about living with the virus and "his life in general," a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly. "He's met with various producers. He'd really open up and allow the cameras inside his world." It may be a tough sell. Once the highest paid actor on television, Sheen was fired from CBS' Two and a Half Men in 2011 after eight seasons due to erratic behavior, publicly making disparaging comments about the series' creator Chuck Lorre, and drug use. Before FX's low-rated Anger Management was canceled in 2014, Sheen was accused of not showing up to set and calling costar Selma Blair the C-word. Still, the father of five wants a fresh start at work and at home. After years of bad blood with ex-wife Denise Richards (in January, the actress filed a lawsuit against Sheen, claiming he threatened her and their kids), he spent the 4th of July watching fireworks with her and their daughters Sam, 12, and Lola, 11. "They're on good terms," shares a second insider, who is close to the former reality star, 45. For his part, Sheen, who also has daughter Cassandra, 31 (with ex Paula Profit), and sons Bob and Max, both 7 (with ex-wife Brooke Mueller), is trying to turn his image around. Last month, he told Piers Morgan he gets "the future of HIV treatment" (a drug called Pro 140). The actor also noted last year in an open letter for the Today show that his viral load was "undetectable." "Like every other challenge in my life, again, I was victorious and kicking this disease's ass," he wrote. "I wish my story had ended there. Unfortunately, for my family and myself, it had only just begun." And if Sheen gets his wish, he'll take viewers along on his journey. (US Weekly)

Busy Philipps and James Franco may have played the on-off couple Kim Kelly and Daniel Desario on Freaks and Geeks, but in real life they weren't exactly friends on set of the short-lived but beloved NBC sitcom. When asked about the "most difficult celebrity" she'd ever had to work with during an interview on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday, July 13, Philipps immediately called out the 38-year-old actor. "James Franco and I really didn't get along when we were on Freaks and Geeks. We were 19 and we really, really disliked each other. It's well-documented," she said. "He shoved me to the ground once. It was really brutal," the actress, 37, said. Now that they've grown up, they've put the past behind them and buried the hatchet. "We're friends now and we really like each other now, as adults, but as kids we did not get along," she said of filming the show's first and only season, which first aired in 1999. The teen drama helped launch their careers, along with those of costars Seth Rogen and Jason Segel. Philipps also dished on off-screen smooches with her costars on another hit show of hers, Dawson's Creek. "I guess we all kissed everybody," she said, but clarified that she didn't sleep with any of them. "I really messed up in my twenties," she joked of her missed opportunities with her male costars on Dawson's Creek (who included James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson), Freaks and Geeks and Cougar Town. "Now I'm married and it's game over," she said of tying the knot with screenwriter Marc Silverstein in 2007. Back in 2008, Franco opened up to GQ about his behavior during his Freaks and Geeks days. "I'll admit I was not a team player. A lot of it, I think, just had to do with being obnoxious when the camera was on someone else. Maybe I'd eat a banana in the background that would take focus away from other actors. I didn't think about it that way, but now I could say, 'Look, the scene's not about me, it's about them, just chill out, James. Don't eat a f--king banana.'" (US Weekly)

A "Live" bigwig took Fred Savage out to a lavish dinner amid rumors he's the front-runner for the show's available co-hosting gig alongside Kelly Ripa. On Thursday morning's episode, Savage boasted to the audience that show executive Art Moore treated him to the swanky meal on Wednesday night, prompting Ripa to prod, "Oh boy, is he eyeballing you?" "He took me out on a date," Savage joked. "He bought me drinks, he paid, it was really nice, he was a real gentleman." Ripa then quipped how the dinner "date" will likely make other co-host candidates jealous: "There are seven other co-hosts watching this at home saying, 'He didn't take me out on a date!'" Savage has been regularly joining Ripa on the morning show. Others in the running for the spot vacated by Michael Strahan in May reportedly include Anderson Cooper, Jeff Gordon and Andy Cohen. Savage, 40, launched into his dinner tale Thursday morning after Ripa brought up The Post's article about rude diners diving into the Four Seasons' decorative pool before the legendary restaurant closes its doors this weekend. Holding up the paper, Ripa said she recently got the VIP treatment at the Four Seasons because Moore frequently dines there. (Page Six)

Exactly What Prompted Bethenny Frankel & Jules Wainstein's Real Housewives of New York City Dinner Throwdown? The Real Housewives of New York City did what Real Housewives shows do best: It had an incredibly dramatic dinner party for the record books. The events at Joanne's derailed after Luann de Lesseps bailed. For some reason, Jules Wainstein believed the women should not be talking about Luann and her "private life" because the Countess bailed. Jules still does not know how this show works. Carole Radziwill tried to clue her in. "Because we're her friends, so that's what friends do: They talk about their friends when they're not here... Everyone does that," Carole said. It's true. It's so true. Jules said her friends don't. That's delusion. Anyway, that's when the screaming started. Jules took issue with Bethenny Frankel for... well, she couldn't quite decide. Apparently Bethenny didn't check in with Jules enough when she hurt her vagina. "What do you want me to do? Sit outside your window with a boom box and serenade you and your vagina? I texted you. I've got my own vagina problems," Bethenny said. And, not to pick sides, but Bethenny's vaginal issues were a little more serious than whatever Jules did to hers that made her go see a plastic surgeon to make sure it went back to the "perfect pistachio." Once she moved on from that, Jules said Bethenny's sense of humor means she attacks people and is at the expense of others. She also said Bethenny called her stupid. The utensil-filled calzone came up again. "My sense of humor revolves around laughing and saying funny things. And you, you're a self-deprecator. You opened the door, plus you have a lot of things to say about everybody else being old. I'm not even buying this bullshit," Bethenny said. Once she moved on from the sense of humor argument, Jules said Bethenny was talking about her marriage to Michael, which, well, she wasn't. If you keep up with the drama, you know there is stuff to talk about, but Bethenny said she did not spread it around. And once she couldn't make any headway with accusing Bethenny about spreading marriage trouble rumors, Jules said Bethenny and Carole were talking about her eating disorder behind her back. She also admitted to having a relapse with her bulimia three days prior to the disastrous dinner they were currently sitting down for. "If you don't want your friends talking about it out of concern, then don't talk about it," Carole said. Again, Jules doesn't understand the show it seems. Bethenny was quick to admit she has kept Jules at a distance because of her childhood and her mother's own eating disorder. Can you fault her? She knows the disease and everything that comes along with it. "I'm allowed to protect myself," she told Jules. Later in the episode, Jules seemed like she was acting victorious. What dinner was she at? She repeatedly declared she was no longer going to share private details with Carole and Bethenny and was congratulated for speaking her mind. Meanwhile, Ramona Singer declared they would all go to Mohegan Sun for gambling and drinking. Luann got engaged -- the ladies found out via the press -- Carole had a pizza party with Adam, Bethenny and Dorinda Medley, and Sonja Morgan had a dinner party where Jules set her up on a blind date with a dude she already knew. Once they were on a bus to the casino, Sonja and Bethenny made peace -- Bethenny apologized and Sonja seemed to truly understand what set her off in the first place regarding Tipsy Girl. Bethenny was not having Jules. At all. This is clearly not over and you can bet it's going to come up again at the reunion. "Jules is on the bus, which is like there's a ficus plant in the corner of the bus. I'm not even angry at her, I just don't really care. Let's just have fun," Bethenny said. Please, have fun. The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays, 9 p.m. on Bravo. (Eonline)

Patti Stanger's new "Million Dollar Matchmaker" series was not an immediate love connection with viewers in its WE tv premiere, according to Nielsen ratings. Stanger moved to WE tv from Bravo -- on which she starred in the very similarly named "The Millionaire Matchmaker" from 2008 till 2015. But just 373,000 viewers tuned in for the premiere of her new show, reports Nielsen. The coveted 18-to-49-year-old "key demo" was down to 168,000 viewers. (In its last season on Bravo, the premiere of "The Millionaire Matchmaker" drew 1.5 million.) But Stanger got more love from "Live +3" ratings numbers, which include three days of DVR playback. A rep said that number hit an average of 507,000 viewers, and the "audience grew 36 percent in three days." The rep added in a statement: "This is the first episode of the first season of a new show we think is terrific and are thrilled to have on WE tv." Stanger's also brought some of her old show's on-screen experts to the new series, which shows her giving rich clients "love lessons." (Page Six)

Netflix Lands Chuck Lorre Pot Comedy 'Disjointed' With Kathy Bates Set to Star. The streaming giant has picked up the project with an order for 20 episodes. Chuck Lorre's pot comedy has found a home and a star. After being shopped to broadcast networks and streaming services, Netflix has landed Disjointed with a 20-episode order and tapped Kathy Bates to star, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Co-written by Lorre and David Javerbaum (The Daily Show), the spec script went out into the marketplace in mid-January. The workplace comedy stars the Oscar and two-time Emmy winner Bates as a lifelong advocate for marijuana legalization who's finally living her dream as the owner of a Los Angeles-area cannabis dispensary. Joining her are three "budtenders," her twentysomething son and a deeply troubled security guard. All of them are more or less constantly high. The multicamera comedy hails from Warner Bros. Television, where the prolific producer behind CBS' The Big Bang Theory and Mom is under a rich overall deal. The news comes as Lorre's CBS comedy Mike & Molly wrapped its sixth and final season and with his Big Bang Theory and Mom both set to return next season. Mom, coincidentally, also was taken out late in the season as a pitch and scored a hefty pilot production commitment. Pot comedies have been in high demand across broadcast, cable, premium and streaming outlets of late. Amazon recently tapped Margaret Cho to star in Highland, HBO picked up six episodes of Maintenance and NBC is teaming with Adam and Naomi Scott to develop Buds. Javerbaum's credits include producing CBS' The Late Late Show With James Corden. His Twitter account,@TheTweetOfGod, was adapted into a book that subsequently became the play An Act of God, which starred Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons. The casting reunites Lorre with Bates, who earned an Emmy for her guest role on Lorre's Two and a Half Men. and a best supporting actress in a mini nod for American Horror Story: Coven. All told, the actress has 13 Emmy nominations. The casting brings her back into the WBTV fold following work including Men and the studio's NBC drama Harry's Law. She is repped by ICM Partners. For Netflix, Disjointed comes as the streaming giant has been making an aggressive push for scripted -- and comedy. Disjointed joins recently picked up comedy series Maniac, starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill; Santa Clarita Diet; starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant; and several more as the streamer is investing $5 billion into original programming in 2016. Netflix's comedy push also includes Easy, a comedic anthology from mumble core guru Joe Swanberg; Aziz Ansari's Master of None; Judd Apatow's Love; Sophia Amoruso's #Girlboss; and sketch comedy The Characters, in addition to more broad-skewing fare like Fuller House. With the Disjointed deal, Lorre and Bates join Ashton Kutcher at Netflix after the Two and a Half Men star's comedy The Ranch was renewed for a second season. Disjointed also expands Netflix's relationship with Warner Bros. Television, which produces Longmire, Fuller House and the upcoming Gilmore Girls revival. (Hollywood Reporter)

"Whoops and Cheers" at BBC as British Culture Secretary is Sacked. John Whittingdale was removed from his position following Theresa May's appointment as prime minister. Less than a day into her new role as British prime minister, Theresa May has already turned heads with a brutal reshuffle of her top cabinet. Having taken the reins Wednesday afternoon, she promptly sacked the chancellor of the exchequer, or finance minister, George Osborne, and, to the amazement of many, named former London mayor Boris Johnson- considered the scruffy-haired ringleader behind the Brexit decision-foreign minister. The latter move prompted Ricky Gervais to tweet his amazement - "Just when Britain was starting to become a laughing stock around the world, Boris Johnson is appointed foreign secretary." But on Thursday, more major names were removed from the upper echelons of British politics, among them culture secretary John Whittingdale, a man who has been at the forefront of the government's push for major cutbacks at the BBC and attempts to curtail the public broadcaster's scope. He once joked that the demise of the BBC was a "tempting prospect." Such is the BBC's impartiality, any pleasure found at Whittingdale's own demise as culture minister is unlikely to find its way into its news reports. But it seems one employee couldn't contain his excitement. In a swiftly-deleted tweet, Ed Ram said there were "whoops and cheers in the BBC Newsoom" after Whittingdale was fired. The journalist and filmmaker later said he was simply "joking around," and a BBC spokesperson said there wasn't a comment on the matter. While future comment from BBC employees is likely to remain scarce, given the amount of backlash from the British creative industries to Whittingdale-led attacks on the broadcaster (Armando Iannucci told the Edinburgh TV Festival last year it was akin to asking the BBC to consider "assisted suicide"), the culture secretary's departure may well have seen whoops and cheers far and wide. No immediate replacement for Whittingdale was named. (Hollywood Reporter)
