Miranda Kerr Is Engaged to Billionaire Snapchat Founder Evan Spiegel. A big congratulations is in store for Miranda Kerr...the Victoria's Secret model is engaged to billionaire Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel! Kerr took to Instagram to share the big announcement, posting a bitmoji of the tech guru -- who was named one of Forbes' youngest billionaires -- getting down on one knee and proposing to the brunette beauty with the words "Marry Me!" written across. Behind the animated characters, Kerr shared a picture of the gorgeous engagement ring -- a big round diamond with tapered baguettes. "I said yes!!!" she captioned the cute photo with a bunch of smiling and heart emojis. Kerr and Spiegel met at a work-related Louis Vuitton dinner party in New York back in 2014, and began dating in June of 2015. They made their red carpet debut at a pre-2016 Grammy Awards party this past February and finally made things Instagram official the following month. Kerr has always gushed about her beau, telling E! News last November, "He's just a really kind person and very genuine and very authentic and I really appreciate that about him," she smiles. "And also he's very intelligent." Not to mention, though the supermodel mom has a few years on her man, Kerr describes him as an old soul. "He's 25, but he acts like he's 50. He's not out partying. He goes to work in Venice [Beach]. He comes home. We don't go out," Kerr explained her life with Spiegel to The Edit recently. Kerr was previously married to Orlando Bloom for three years. They married in 2010 and subsequently split up in October of 2013. Daily Mail was the first to report the engagement news. (Eonline)
Hold Up, Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney Are Just ''Taking a Break'' It looks like there's hope after all! Many fans' hearts broke earlier upon the news of Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney's engagement being called off, however, it seems like the famous pair aren't absolutely, completely, for sure, done. The singer's rep re-sparked the dying flame by telling E! News, "They are taking a break." Furthermore, a source tells the mag that their schedules definitely made things difficult, but they're not ready to completely throw in the towel just yet. "She's working on an album, he's working on his show, they aren't in the same state, it was just hard," the insider said. "They both love each other very much and they want it to work. It's just been tough with the long distance." There was speculation on the status of the couple's relationship after Gaga was spotted without her ring on. Last week -- on Kinney's birthday -- Gaga was photographed without her famous sparkler on her finger. When she performed at an orphanage in Mexico earlier this week, the ring was again missing. Neither Gaga nor Kinney has commented on the matter, and it's unclear who initiated taking the time off. The former pair began dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of Gaga's "Yoü and I" music video, and it didn't take long before the public witnessed their magical connection. "When you meet someone that's not intimidated by the amazing people that are around you [or] by the love that you receive -- that's love," Gaga told Fashion magazine in 2013. "Men weren't always happy for me. It was very challenging to watch a woman be so successful." Kinney was The One, according to Gaga. "I really can't imagine being with anyone other than who I'm with right now," the Golden Globe winner told Howard Stern in a December 2014 SiriusXM interview. "He is the right guy. I have that feeling. I just know it." UPDATE: Lady Gaga took to Instagram to address the status of her relationship with Taylor Kinney. With a black and white photo of the couple walking together, the singer writes: "Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We're just like everybody else and we really love each other." (Eonline)

Shannen Doherty Shaves Head as She Battles Breast Cancer and Posts Heartbreaking Photos. Shannen Doherty has gotten her head shaved, almost a year after she revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and has shared with her fans intimate photos of her heartbreaking physical transformation. The 45-year-old actress, best known for her roles as Brenda on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Prue on Charmed in the '90s, posted six black and white photos of the process, including a pic of her cutting her own hair and a snaps of her mother and friend embracing her. She had a couple of hours earlier posted a color pic of a cupcake pan, a box of Ferrero Rochero chocolates and a box containing an electric shaver. "#cancersucks #thankgodforfriends," she wrote. Model Anne Kortright-Shilstat was the one who shaved Doherty's head. Both women posted a photo of the two after the task was completed. "@theshando I couldn't be prouder of you today," Kortright-Shilstat wrote. "Your strength and courage is so inspiring and I am so very lucky to have you in my life. Thank you for blindly trusting me today to help you with such a big step. I will forever be there for you no matter what. #f--kcancer." Doherty had revealed her cancer diagnosis last August when she filed a lawsuit against against an accounting firm she claims failed to make payments on her medical insurance without her consent or knowledge. The company has denied any wrongdoing. In her suit, the actress claimed that when she obtained coverage again, a doctor discovered she had "invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node." The actress also said she was told the disease had likely spread during the time when she was uninsured. The case is pending. Doherty also said at the time she is set to undergo chemotherapy and have a mastectomy. She then made her first red carpet appearance since revealing her cancer diagnosis in November, appearing at the 2015 Baby2Baby gala. Doherty has since spent time traveling. In June, Doherty, husband Kurt Iswarienko and her mother visited Australia. During the trip, the actress met up with her Charmed co-star Holly Marie Combs at the opening night of Opera Australia's production of Carmen at the Sydney Opera House and also made a celebrity appearance at the 2016 Supanova Pop Culture Expo in the city. Crystal Hefner has removed her breast implants because they were "slowly poisoning her" and causing debilitating illnesses, she says. The 30-year-old wife of Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner revealed in a lengthy that she underwent explant surgery in June and has been keeping up her social media pages with old photos while she recovers. What started as aches, bladder pain, brain fog and fatigue several years ago developed into life-altering illness, she says. She became allergic to many foods, experienced problems with her thyroid and had intolerable pain. According to the model and DJ, there were days when her discomfort was so severe that she couldn't get out of bed. "I had to miss my Summer DJ residency at my favorite Vegas spot, the Rehab Pool at The Hard Rock Hotel," Hefner writes. "The fatigue was so severe that I could barely leave the house or drive. I was afraid to get up there in front of a crowd and go blank with brain fog." Earlier this year, she announced that she had been diagnosed with Lyme disease, but with the help of fans, she realized her breast augmentation may be the root of the problem. "I began to receive comments saying that my symptoms resembled 'Breast Implant Illness,' she explained. "I found a Breast Implant Illness website and Facebook group with almost 3,000 members. My symptoms matched theirs." Hefner explained that both silicone and saline breast implants break down and chemicals in them destroy the body. Since the immune system is focused on fighting these toxins, the person is likely to develop other illnesses. She explained that she was sharing her story so others with breast augmentations that Breast Implant Illness is a very real disease. After the model, who lists herself as an "Implant Illness Activist" on Instagram, had her breasts removed in June, she felt a difference immediately. However, she knows there's a long way to go. "Instantly I noticed my neck and shoulder pain was gone and I could breathe much better," Hefner said. "I know I won't feel 100% overnight. My implants took 8 years to make me this sick, so I know it will take time to feel better. I also have other illnesses to address, but with the toxic bags removed, my immune system can focus on what it needs to." Yolanda Hadid, who has been open about her battle with Lyme disease, also had surgery earlier this year to have her breast implants removed. Last summer, she shared a photo to demonstrate areas along her chest where her doctor found silicone that had leaked out after her breast augmentation. "Turn a mess into a message," Hadid captioned the snapshot. "We might have hit the jackpot by finding all this silicone from a 20 year old implant rupture through ultrasound mapping as shown in this selfie." (People)
Real Housewives of New York's Jules Wainstein Gets Served Divorce Papers. The wheels are officially in motion. E! News has confirmed that The Real Housewives of New York's Jules Wainstein was finally served with divorce papers from her husband Michael Wainstein a few months after learning that the pair decided to call it quits. The New York court filing shows that Jules has enlisted Bethenny Frankel's divorce lawyers, Aronson Mayefsky and Sloan, for her case, which is also listed as a "contested" divorce. This means that there are certain terms that the two parties cannot agree to, either about getting divorced or about issues pertaining to the separation, such as the division of assets, allocation of debts, alimony, child support, or the custody of children. Specifics as to what these two stars cannot agree on have yet to be disclosed. The divorce papers come roughly one month after police were called to the Wainstein home. E! News learned at the time that the Real Housewives of New York star called the police on her estranged husband after feeling threatened by her ex. "Jules was the one who called the police," a source told us, adding that Jules needed help because Michael was speaking to her in a threatening manner. No arrests were made. The call to police came shortly after the reality star announced that their marriage has come to an end after eight years together. The insider added, "This divorce is contentious and it's going to be ongoing." Michael filed for divorce from Jules after she allegedly caught him cheating on her. "They were having issues before the show but I think pressure from filming clearly put a strain the marriage," an insider previously told us before adding, "It brought things to a head." The Bravolebrity was also hit with a lien for allegedly refusing to pay $25,000 in bills related to her lux New York condo, which E! News has learned is not the family home, but Jules' apartment that she lived in prior to her marriage. According to The Daily Mail, The Board of Managers of the Apthorp Condominium filed a lien against Wainstein accusing her of not paying them $25,243.74 in costs related to commons charges and other amounts potentially linked to association fees. E! News has reached out to both parties for comment. (Eonline)
Look away now Taylor... A massive 'RIP Taylor Swift' mural has been painted in a Melbourne laneway following the singer's ongoing feud with Kimye. Surely this isn't necessary? The painting which features an impressively accurate portrait of the 26 year old star alongside the words "In loving memory Taylor Swift, 1989-2016"was created by a mystery graffiti artist in the Australian city. The artist then took to Twitter to announce the fictional death of the Bad Blood hit-maker, tweeting: "The recent passing of @taylorswift is heart wrenching. Come and leave some flowers and light some candles at her memorial in Hosier lane in honor of her memory. If you do please DM photos of you doing it. #taylorswift #kimexposedtaylorparty #kimkardashian" As expected, the mural soon caught the attention of social media users around the world who were quick to comment. The street artist known as Lushsux also wrote "no tags please, respect the dead" at the bottom of her painting. The mural has come just three days after the very public feud between Taylor and Kim Kardashian following that snapchat recording of the singer's phone conversation with Kanye West. Scroll down to read all you need to know about the EPIC celebrity bust-up. The past few days have seen the relatively mild Taylor-Kanye feud manifest in to one of the biggest celeb bust-ups in recent history, with lawsuits and even talk of JAIL TIME hot in conversation. Taylor Swift Gets Wiki-WRECKED As Kim Kardashian Fans Viciously Vandalize Her Wikipedia Page! Look What They Called Her! She knew they were trouble when they logged in. Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian West, and Kanye West are currently wrapped up in the biggest celebrity feud of 2016, and things aren't about to get any better any time soon. That's because in addition to trolling her with snake emojis on Instagram, the Taylor Haters have now attacked the Better than Revenge singer's Wikipedia page, as well! Remember how Katy Perry once said "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing," in regards to T.Swift?? Well, KimYe's fans certainly do -- because they just edited Taylor's wiki bio to include a lot more nicknames than we remember her having, including the Mean Girls villain! Saváge. Her name was also briefly changed to: Taylor "People Will Side With Me If I Sue Kanye, Won't They" Alison Swift While we don't agree that she's really the incarnate of Rachel McAdams' iconic character... "Becky With The Good Lies" is pretty funny! (Perez Hilton)
Alexander McQueen has finally addressed a student's plans to use the late designer's DNA to create skin which would be made into a one-off handbag. So far so Freddy Kruger-esque, but, funnily enough, McQueen the brand, has had no part in the project, telling WWD: "Contrary to some press reports, the company wasn't approached about this project, nor have we ever endorsed it." Central Saint Martins student Tina Gorjanc has used one of McQueen's own hairs, found from one of the labels of his first collection, to grow skin cells which she hopes to turn into a handbag that would be exhibited in a museum. It all sounds very Tim Burton-meets-Alfred Hitchcock, but Gorjanc wants to use the finished product as her final graduate project. However, she has disputed reports that she is growing McQueen's skin. "I am not growing Alexander McQueen's skin," she said. "The tests that were made in the laboratory were purely intended to for me to understand the technology, and to see how far I can exploit it. This technology still has a long way to go, and big corporations with a better equipped laboratory have a better chance of developing it further." Controversial as it seems, McQueen - who was hugely inspired by the macabre - may well have been fascinated by such a darkly creepy experiment. (British Glamour)
Taylor Swift is not waving the white flag in her war with Kanye West over the secret audio recording ... our Taylor sources say she may still file a police report because she says Kanye committed a felony. As we reported, Kanye had Taylor on speaker when he recorded her as they spoke about his song "Famous," and there were clear voices in the room from the camera crew as well as producer Rick Rubin ... as such, they could all overhear the conversation so the law does not prohibit the recording. But Taylor sources say she had NO IDEA Kanye had her on speaker. Although she could hear other voices she assumed they could not hear her, so she believes Kanye had a legal duty to ask permission to record her, and by not doing so he violated the criminal law. Taylor is still deciding whether she'll file a police report. What's more ... we're told Taylor wants them to bring it on ... the call lasted a full hour and Kim was very selective in what she posted. Taylor wants the entire conversation released, because our sources say she wants everyone to hear Kanye never said he'd call her a "bitch" in the song. We're told she's also upset Kanye made the song sound lighthearted, when in fact it's mean-spirited. Taylor's rep says Kanye never asked Taylor for approval -- which the tape proves -- but she believes he was deceptive. On the call ... Kanye promises to send her an advance copy of the song, which he did not do. Our Taylor sources say Kanye knew if she heard it before it was released, she'd pitch a fit. (TMZ)
A tennis star with a HUGE backhand directed at Taylor Swift -- says she's sick of the singer always portraying herself as the victim ... just like she's doing in the Kanye West feud. The tennis star is 22-year-old Eugenie Bouchard -- who's a huge pop culture fan -- and was asked about the Taylor vs. Kanye situation after she was knocked out of the Citi Open this week. You gotta watch the clip (around 6:00) ... Bouchard says she's a huge Taylor fan -- "but I feel like sometimes she portrays herself as the victim a lot and she did this time around." Bouchard -- who knows A LOT about the feud -- says she also doesn't care that Kanye didn't specifically ask Taylor for permission to call her a bitch in his song "Famous." "You approved the thing where Kanye said he'd have sex with you but you didn't hear the time he said bitch? Like, come on." "Like, it's all the same thing to me ... so I think she just way overreacted and I think she tried to get attention by saying she didn't approve of that." (TMZ)
What a Taylor Swift Legal Battle Might Cost Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. While we were all sitting here refreshing our Twitter and Snapchat feeds to see what someone might say next, the drama between Taylor Swift , Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might actually lead to a real legal battle that could cost the couple more than just a loss of some Twitter followers and a lump sum of cash. E! News spoke with criminal defense attorney and legal expert Troy Slaten (who's not involved in the case), and he explained that Kimye could have to pay a hefty price for releasing the recording of Swift. Why? Because, if the singer didn't know the recording took place -- which she claimed in a response to the recording on Sunday -- it would be a violation of California's eavesdropping statute. "Kim and Kanye [could] face criminal prosecution for a violation of California's eavesdropping statute," Slaten explained to us. "California is a two-party consent state, which means that any recording of a telephone conversation needs to have consent of both parties. If Swift didn't know she was being recorded then that in and of itself is a crime." But it's not just Kanye that would be prosecuted for recording the conversation. Kim may also be found at fault. "It's a crime to record the recording of that illegal conversation as well," the lawyer continued. "So, both Kim and Kanye face prosecution for a violation of California's [eavesdropping statute]." Not to mention, this type of violation is known as a "wobbler," which Slaten explained means that it's up to the discretion of the prosecutor to charge it as either a misdemeanor or a felony. "The potential criminal punishment on a misdemeanor for [this type of] violation is up to a year in county jail and/or a $2,500 fine," Slaten explained. "For a felony, it's up to three years in state prison and/or $2,500 fine on a first offense. On a second offense, it's up to a $10,000 fine. To decide whether or not it's a misdemeanor or felony the prosecutor takes into account a person's criminal history and the severity of the violation." But it doesn't just end there. Another factor in all of this is the potential for a defamation lawsuit. "The penal code for this particular crime also has a civil component: it allows the victim of this crime to seek damages in civil court for three times the amount of damage," Slaten explained to us. "It's a little bit different than a defamation suit; you don't have to prove that you were defamed, you just have to prove your damages as a result of the illegal recording so it doesn't even have to be defamatory." He added, "So [Taylor] could sue under the statute, plus defamation, plus intentional infliction of emotional distress. Those are other avenues of recovery potentially for her." And if Taylor was able to prove the damages she incurred as a result of the illegal recording, she could potentially sue Kimye for three times the amount of whatever those are. (Eonline)

Wendy Williams has the best work family ever. Members of Williams' talk-show crew surprised her on her 52nd birthday with a stunning sapphire-and-diamond brooch that belonged to the late Joan Rivers. On Tuesday's episode, Williams recounted falling in love with the bauble when Joan's daughter, Melissa, was on the show in June to preview her mother's belongings that were to be auctioned off by Christie's later that month. "Look how pretty that is on you," Melissa said in June, "This is definitely in your price range." A Christie's rep declined to comment on the final selling price of the brooch, but it was expected to go for $3,500 to $4,500. Made of 11 cabochon sapphires, 29 old-cut diamonds and enamel, the orchid brooch is mounted in gold. The talk-show host posted an Instagram pic of her new bling on Tuesday, writing, "Thank you @joanrivers for such great memories! Thank you DebmarMercury for your winning bid!" Debmar-Mercury produces and distributes "The Wendy Williams Show." Williams celebrated her birthday on Monday. (Page Six)

Also, her ex, Matt Bellamy, was seen with his new girlfriend Elle Evans visiting Hudson and the former couple's son, Bingham, on the island. Drizzy commissioned the shoes a couple months ago and got them last week. We're told reports that the kicks cost $2 million and weigh in at 100 lbs are just plain wrong. Artist Matthew Senna -- who made the shoes -- fetches between $3,500 and $30k a pair. Drake's shoes are on the higher end. We're told the shoes aren't made entirely from gold. They're a mix of gold and other materials, including parts of real shoe. Each shoe is around 16 inches long and weighs 20 lbs. Drake's in good gold company ... the artist has made everything from a gold nail bat for Post Malone to a life-size bronze statue of Jadakiss' head. (TMZ)
Martha Stewart took wine to-go after a premiere of the new movie "Bad Moms," in which she has a comedic cameo. The domestic diva was at a screening of the STX Entertainment film at the Metrograph downtown, where, a spy said, "When the movie let out, [Stewart] grabbed two glasses of wine off a tray and walked out the door and left for the evening. With the glasses! Full of wine!" We hear that the wine glasses were specifically created for the premiere with the film's title on them and were meant to be taken as gifts -- though everyone but Stewart opted to take the glasses that were not full of booze. Stewart -- who appears in the movie about "overworked and under-appreciated" moms, starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Applegate and Jada Pinkett Smith -- hosted the evening and told the crowd, "I am known as a good mom, but in the movie .?.?. you'll see. I have a minor, minor role. I don't even know why I am standing up here." Stewart told us through a rep: "If there had been empty ones, I would have taken them," and she poured the wine out before she got into a car. (Page Six)

Justin Bieber was willing to pay "anything" to stay at famed Hamptons megamansion Sandcastle, but the 26,500-square-foot property -- which has rented for $550,000 for a two-week stay -- was no longer available. Instead, the home's owner, millionaire Hamptons house-builder Joe Farrell, gave The Biebs another mansion -- free of charge. "Justin wanted that Hamptons house as a hub for 12 nights while he was performing in the area," said a source. "He offered Joe all kinds of money for Sandcastle." It has previously been rented by Jay Z and Beyonce for a month, as well as by a Tampa divorcee trolling the area for a rich husband. Plus, it has a Bieber-friendly basketball court, half-pipe and bowling alley. But Farrell "loaned Bieber's team another house," said the source. "Their minds were blown, because he didn't ask for any money." The place would usually go for $80,000 a week. Grateful Bieber then invited Farrell and his daughter, 12, to his show in Hartford, Conn. A few days later, Bieber dropped by Farrell's house in the Hamptons and treated the family to a private performance. "He went over there to hang out and 'be normal,'?" said a source. "He worked out in their gym, played piano and stayed for dinner." Bieber debuted an unreleased tune for Farrell's daughter and helped clear the table. "Joe and his wife had heard the stories, but [Bieber] was so polite and respectful. Joe's wife was like, 'You can come for dinner every night!'" Farrell then flew The Biebs on his private jet to the star's Atlantic City, NJ, concert, spies said. Bieber invited Farrell and his daughter to a backstage dinner. Rumors began buzzing around the Hamptons that Farrell had paid Bieber $1 million to visit his home. But a pal said, "Joe got way more than a $1 million experience for Justin to come over." Farrell told us, "He couldn't have been sweeter, more respectful and more normal." This isn't the first time Farrell's let a star crash for free, sources said. Madonna once stayed at one of his houses, and she repaid the favor by hiring him to build her Bridgehampton mansion. (Page Six)
Thieves broke into the Upper East Side home of fashion designer Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss and stole $1 million worth of jewelry, sources said. Gruss, who dated Jerry Seinfeld from 1993 to 1997 -- starting when she was 17 and he was 38 -- returned home from vacation on Tuesday and discovered a closet door open and a safe broken into, the law-enforcement sources said. A door on the roof of the home, at 118 E, 61st St., was broken. Gruss' Instagram page features photos of her and her children frolicking on the beach in Montauk, LI, where she was vacationing. She told police that the family left for the holiday on June 25. Gruss is the founder of the fashion label Shoshanna, which makes elegant dresses and swimwear. She married Joshua Gruss, the son of financier Martin Gruss, in 2003, and they divorced in 2014. (Page Six)

Tiffany Trump and Donald Trump Jr. Praise Their Father After He's Named the Republican Nominee for Presidency. It's official: Donald Trump is the Republican nominee for presidency. The announcement was made earlier Tuesday night, and shortly following the big news, Trump's children Tiffany Trump and Donald Trump Jr. each took the stage at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, and, of course, both had nothing but wonderful things to say about their father and the potential president of the United States. Tiffany stepped out in a blue frock and admitted to the large crowd that she's a bit nervous, telling the audience, "When I graduated college a couple of months ago, I never expected to be here tonight addressing the nation. I've given a few speeches in front of classrooms and students but never in an arena with more than 10 million people watching. But like my father, I never back down from challenges." The recent University of Pennsylvania graduate spoke about her dad's constant support for her throughout the years, and mentioned that she loves introducing friends to her father (especially if they have preconceived notions) so that they can get to know the real him. "They meet a man with natural charm and no facade. In person my father is so friendly, so considerate and so real. My friends walk away with a glimpse of all that he is and all that he means to me of the strong, protective, kind, endearing man I am so proud to call my father. I have admired my father all of my life and I love him with all my heart." While Tiffany's speech seemed a bit more intimate and personal (as far as political speeches go), her older brother's was more policy-heavy. Trump's eldest son spoke on the candidate's work ethic, views of education and determination to help shift America into the country he hopes to see. "His unrelenting determination is why he's going to become our next president and why I know when my father says he can fix the country, he means it," Trump Jr. said. "You want to know what kind of president he'll be? Let me tell you how he ran his businesses, and I know because I was there with him by his side on job sites in conference rooms by the time I could walk. He didn't hide out behind the desk in an executive suite. He spent his career with regular Americans. He hung out with the guys on construction sites, pouring concrete and hanging sheet rock." Of course, Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton was obviously mentioned. "Hillary Clinton would be the first President in history to fail a background check," Trump Jr. told the crowd. "When we elect him," Trump says of his father, "we'll have made America great again, greater than ever before." (Eonline)

Miranda Lambert has found solace in her music over the past 12 months. The country star took to Instagram on Tuesday, reflecting on last year, which saw her divorce from Blake Shelton and find a new relationship with boyfriend Anderson East. "The last year of my life has been one of heartache and healing ... Of learning to be honest," she wrote alongside a screenshot of a music chart showing her single "Vice" at number one. "Accepting the flaws and celebrating the smiles. Finding peace in dark places ... having some moments alone with me." Similar to her Instagram caption, the 32-year-old's latest song faces her demons, as she sings about "heartbreak" and her personal feelings of being "numb" and "lonely." "Facing fears and feelings... All of them. I got to know my guitars... became friends with a pencil and paper ... Used melodies to lead me places I had never been... " she added in the post. "Made music with my friends. Because music is medicine. This means the world to me. Thank you for joining me on this journey." Lambert and Shelton divorced in July after four years of marriage. Shortly after, she opened up about the news in her cover story for Cosmopolitan. "I'm still processing everything and figuring out where to go and what happened," she said. "I just want to live life full of everything. Some of that might man nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going 'Man this sucks right now.' It's about living in the moment and feeling every tinge of pain, then waking up the next day and going, 'All right, I'm going to ride my ponies. I'm going to have a girls' night.'" Nearly a year after her divorce, Lambert found new romance in fellow singer Anderson Easton. In March, a source told PEOPLE Lambert "is extremely happy and content with how her life is proceeding. She's having a great time living and working within a creative community." (People)
Third Eye Blind 'Repudiates' Republican Agenda, Draws Boos From GOP Crowd in Cleveland. Four years ago, Third Eye Blind singer Stephan Jenkins wrote a commentary for Huffington Post with the headline, "Why We Aren't Playing at the RNC," saying they couldn't accept an invitation to perform at a private party during the 2012 Republican convention because "they are, in fact, a party dedicated to exclusion." Observers with a memory of that blog might have wondered why the band did an about-face and accepted just such an invite this year. Now, the answer is clear: to speak out against the Republican platform in the belly of the beast. Witnesses at the group's Tuesday night show in Cleveland, a charity gig inside the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, reported that Jenkins used the occasion to say he "repudiates" what the Republican party now stands for. Clips uploaded to social media platforms show the crowd booing, followed by Jenkins exclaiming: "You can boo all you want, but I'm the motherf---in' artist up here." Some attendees grumbled that the only recognizable song of the set was their final number, "Jumper," which reached No. 5 on the Hot 100 in 1998. Jenkins had a reason for performing that one, and it wasn't to placate the crowd. Having previously described the song as "a noir about a guy who jumped off a bridge and killed himself because he was gay," the singer expressed a wish in his intro that the party would welcome people "like my cousins who are gay into the American fabric. To love this song is to take into your heart the message and to actually have a feeling to arrive and move forward and not live your life in fear and imposing that fear on other people." As "Jumper" wrapped up, Jenkins seemed to taunt the crowd, saying, "Raise your hand if you believe in science." Although a preliminary setlist one attendee tweeted out had their signature song, "Semi-Charmed Life," listed as an encore, the group did not return to the stage. Afterward, one audience member, Liza White, tweeted that she had "never been more disappointed," to which the group's official Twitter account replied, "Good." Although that account did not use the word "troll" itself, a user who identified himself as the group's "sound dude," Eddie Hudson, wrote, "I don't tweet much but happy to have been part of this troll of the RNC today with the @ThirdEyeBlind guys." Like most of the late-night concerts going on in Cleveland this week, the Third Eye Blind show was not an official RNC event but a charity concert -- in this case, an RIAA-produced event benefiting Musicians on Call, described as "a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities." The fact that Third Eye Blind registered their protest of Republican policies at a charity show particularly angered some conservatives. "Wow," tweeted a not even semi-charmed user under the name @politicalmath. "@thirdeyeblind f---ed a 'charity event' to help sick kids to have this little tantrum. And liberals love it." "Pretty sure Third Eye Blind is purposefully playing terrible in front of their GOP crowd," tweeted attendee James Hewitt, senior director of the consulting firm Dezenhall Resources, during the show. "Also changing their lyrics to criticize the GOP as a whole." Later, Hewitt added: "Just wasted two hours of my life listening to third eye blind play terrible music then call the crowd bigots." Others objected less to the political content of the show than the setlist. "Third Eye Blind is playing new s--- and I am not pleased," tweeted Elizabeth Harrington, a writer for the conservative website the Washington Free Beacon. As word of the gig spread, though, and the band became a trending topic late Tuesday night, many of the responses treated the band in heroic terms, along with a fair share of additional condemnation. Sample responses: "Well played at RNC tonight -- literally & figuratively! As a Republican, only love." -- @HannahMinks "I have a bunch of Third Eye Blind on my phone and today I'm actually proud of that fact." -- @ajnorthrop "DON'T MAKE ME LIKE THIRD EYE BLIND. This is Trump's most horrific legacy." -- @AndyCobb "Embarrassing a great charity like @musiciansoncall is not an epic troll... @musiciansoncall is a great cause, it's a shame @ThirdEyeBlind ruined a nice night for them." -- @FinneganPat "The idea of @ThirdEyeBlind playing 'Non-Dairy Creamer' in front of hundreds of Republicans is just astoundingly hilarious." -- @2VOICE_ (The song includes a repeated chant of "young gay Republicans.") "If Trump gets in the first law he's gonna pass is that 'Semi-Charmed Life' MUST be played at all Third Eye Blind live shows" -- @levdawg The group's attitude might not have come as a complete surprise to anyone who read Jenkins' 2012 HuffPo essay. Back then, he wrote, "The Republican party is on the wrong side of Lilly Ledbetter, fiscal responsibility, unions, civil rights, climate change, evolution, the Big Bang theory, stem cells, Medicare, and me, and that's why we will let them be, in their government-funded event center, to sell their song and dance without me... They now seek to subvert the democratic process itself because they no longer think they can win by adhering to basic tenets of our democracy like the Voting Rights Act. I call that craven. For that reason alone, if I came to their convention, I would Occupy their convention." While protest supergroup also had plenty of salty things to say about GOP nominee Donald Trumps coronation on Tuesday night, any similar "occupations" are unlikely to occur during the musical performances on the remaining two nights of the convention, where performers doing similar after-hours charity gigs include country star Brice and affirmed Trump supporter Kid Rock. Earth, Wind & Fire Slam Donald Trump for 'Unauthorized Use' of 'September' at RNC. Another day at the Republican National Convention, another act unhappy about the "unauthorized use" of their music. Earth, Wind & Fire have spoken out after the Hall of Famers' classic "September" briefly soundtracked proceedings on day two of the RNC without their consent. In a tweet almost identical to one posted the previous night by Queen, Earth, Wind & Fire wrote: "Another unauthorized use (September) at the Republican Convention, against our wishes." On an eventful evening when Donald Trump was formally nominated as the GOP nominee, the house band cranked out a "lukewarm" of "September," according to Billboard's reporter on the scene. The performance was said to be especially popular among the older attendees, who hoisted "Make America Great Again" signs in time with the beat. The previous night, Queen cautioned Trump-not for the first time-for using their anthemic "We Are the Champions" without permission. Earth, Wind & Fire was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 and were feted with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2016 ceremony, just 11 days after following a decades-long struggle with Parkinson's disease. "Highly Relevant" 'West Side Story' Returns for 55th Anniversary Screening. The film's exec producer Walter Mirisch and castmembers including Oscar-winner George Chakiris helped introduce the Oscar-winning 1961 musical. It was extremely topical that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences screened a 70mm print of 1961's West Side Story on Monday, said the film's legendary executive producer Walter Mirisch of The Mirisch Company. "We are suffering from the problems of racial warfare to this very day. Consequently, it's still highly relevant to today's audience -- maybe ever more so than it was at the time," said Mirisch, introducing the musical before a full house at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater, while noting that West Side Story was made in the early days of the Civil Rights movement. "I've always hoped people would learn lessons from pictures like this. But not enough have learned the lessons," he lamented. Inspired by William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, the classic musical starring Natalie Wood and directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins looks at social problems through gang rivalry. The film, which won 10 Academy Awards, on Monday kicked off AMPAS' summer series celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Academy Film Archive. Joining Mirisch for a discussion that also commemorated West Side Story's 55th anniversary were George Chakiris, who won a best supporting actor Oscar for his role as Sharks gang leader Bernardo; Russ Tamblyn, who played Jets gang leader Riff; and dancer Maria Jimenez Henley. "We owe a huge debt to Walter and The Mirisch Company for making this picture," said Chakiris, recalling that he was playing the role of Riff alongside West Side Story co-star and best supporting actress Oscar winner Rita Moreno in the London theater world when he was contacted about the film. Tamblyn also recalled the audition period, admitting he originally auditioned for the role of Tony, which was played by Richard Beymer. Henley related that she was recovering from an appendectomy when she was set to start work on the film, and she wouldn't let the pain stop her. "If you have a will, you can do it," she said to applause. (Hollywood Reporter)
'Wolf of Wall Street' Producers At Center of $1 Billion U.S. Asset Seizure. Assets held by Red Granite co-founder Riza Aziz and close associate Jho Low are expected to be cited in a major civil lawsuit being filed Wednesday by the Department of Justice, linking them to a $7 billion Malaysian corruption scandal. Red Granite, the embattled production company behind The Wolf of Wall Street, is expected to be named as part of one of the largest asset seizures in history when the Department of Justice launches civil lawsuits on Wednesday, multiple sources confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. The Wall Street Journal was first to report the news. The banner is alleged to have become embroiled in a major corruption scandal stemming from Malaysia, understood to involve in excess of $7 billion dollars that was diverted from the 1MDB sovereign wealth fund and moved around the world, lavishly embezzled in property, art and other luxury purchases between 2009 and 2015. As much as $238 million is alleged to have been funneled into Red Granite since it launched with a splash in 2011, of which approximately $100 million went to produce The Wolf of Wall Street. No details of what assets will be seized are available, but the WSJ reports, citing people familiar with the matter, that the value will exceed the record-breaking $850 million seized by the DoJ's Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative in 2015 involving three telecom companies in an unrelated case, and likely top $1 billion. The seizures are expected to include the U.S. assets of Riza Aziz, the CEO and co-founder of Red Granite (and stepson of Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak, at the center of the scandal) and Jho Low, a Malaysian financier and close associate of Aziz and prime minister Razak and believed to be among the chief architects of the 1MDB fund, which was ostensibly set up to invest Malaysian public money into projects that would benefit the country. Aziz reportedly owns a 11,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills, bought for more than $17.5 million, and a $33.5 million duplex in New York's Park Laurel tower overlooking Central Park. Both of these properties were already under investigation by the FBI, which was looking into whether they were acquired using misappropriated 1MDB funds, and were both initially acquired by Low (before being sold to Aziz via a shell company). Even more valuable, however, are the assets of Low, who after announcing himself on the scene in the U.S. at the turn of the decade with a series of notorious celebrity and champagne-soaked million-dollar parties, is now believed to be living between Taiwan and Shanghai, avoiding extradition to either the U.S. or Malaysia. The flamboyant businessman owns a penthouse apartment in Manhattan's Time Warner Center, formerly home to Jay-Z and Beyonce, which he bought for $31 million in cash in 2011. He also reportedly paid $39 million for the famed final home of Ricardo Montalban in the exclusive Bird Streets neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills, near The Wolf of Wall Street star Leonardo DiCaprio. Reportedly Low introduced DiCaprio to Aziz and his Red Granite co-founder Joey McFarland, with the budding filmmakers establishing the company to finance and produce the star's passion project, based on the memoirs of disgraced banker Jordan Belfort. The film-which would go on to earn almost $400 million globally-was in 2010 at turnaround at Warner Bros, which had won bidding war in 2007 to develop the film with DiCaprio, but later stalled due to its sexual content and drug-taking. While it was previously believed that no other studio was willing to take the risk on such an expensive, R-rated movie, THR has learned that there were actually several interested parties. Eventually, upstart Red Granite was chosen, with sources saying this was at DiCaprio's behest due to his close relationship with Low and the company. DiCaprio would be paid $25 million to appear in the film, and is thought to have earned much more as a producer. Low received a "special thanks" in the film's credits. Aside from property, Low is also the man behind some of the world's most extravagant art purchases in recent years. In his collection is a rare original poster for Fritz Lang's 1927 classic Metropolis, which cost $1 million and is now believed to be hanging in Red Granite's offices on Sunset Boulevard (in the same building as DiCaprio's Appian Way). Another iconic item is Marlon Brando's best actor Oscar statuette for On the Waterfront, bought for a reported $600,000 and given as a birthday present to DiCaprio. DiCaprio was also the recipient of a Roy Lichtenstein sculpture, which Low donated to his Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation and was auctioned off at the actor's annual St. Tropez gala last year, a glitzy event that raised some $40 million for the charity. It is unknown whether Low has donated any items to the foundation's 2016 fundraiser, due to take place on the French Riviera Wednesday evening. But even splashier were purchases of some of the finest modern artworks of the 20th century, including Jean-Michel Basquiat's 1982 painting "Dustheads," bought for a then record-breaking $48.8 million in 2013. Other buys-including works by Picasso, Monet and Gerhard Richter-saw him named one of ARTnews magazine's 'Top 200 Collectors'. Through his Hong Kong-based Jynwel Capital fund, Low also owns stakes in several international companies, most notably EMI Asia, in which he serves as a non-executive chairman. Jynwel was reported to be the majority backer of an investment consortium that purchased New York's Helmsley Park Lane Hotel for $660 million in 2013. However, it is thought to have sold its stake earlier this year. Also believed to be cited in the DoJ's filing are the U.S. assets of Khadem al-Qubaisi, the Emirati businessman who was, up until April last year, managing director of Abu Dhabi's International Petroleum Investment Company and its offshoot investment fund Aabar. Al-Qubaisi is alleged to have extensive dealings with 1MDB and, via his personal investment company Tasameen Real Estate, acquired international restaurant and club franchise The Hakkasan Group in 2008. He later increased Hakkasan's U.S. reach with purchases including a portfolio of nightclubs and restaurants in Las Vegas for $36 million in 2014, helping it become a major global player. Al-Qubaisi resigned as chairman of the Hakkasan group earlier this year. Away from restaurant chains and artworks, eyes in Hollywood will no doubt be looking to the future for Red Granite's upcoming slate following Wednesday's filing. The company was actively selling its latest projects from a yacht in Cannes this year, most notably Papillon, the Charlie Hunnam-starring big-budget remake of the 1973 classic. THR has learned that the project is about to start shooting in Serbia, Montenegro and Thailand. There's also The General, the long-gestating George Washington biopic, which sources said was being pitched to buyers in Cannes as another DiCaprio vehicle (although Red Granite denied the reports). Papillon producers Roger Corbi and Yan Fischer-Romanovsky, who took their project to Red Granite before The Wolf of Wall Street, previously told THR that they had been assured by the company's lawyers that the film wouldn't be affected. A Red Granite spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment. (Hollywood Reporter)

Who Just Got Engaged on Pretty Little Liars? Dreams just came true for one Pretty Little Liar...probably. Ezria is not only real, but it's about to be really official after Ezra proposed to Aria at the end of Tuesday night's episode. Or at least we assume they'll be making things really official, as soon as we hear Aria's answer, which just has to be yes, right? Ezra texted Aria to interrupt an important meeting of all the Liars over all the trouble they're potentially in to summon her to the Brew, where he had lit a bunch of candles and dressed up in a nice suit. "You told me once a long time ago that you couldn't imagine your life without me, and I told you that I wanted you in mine, and we would figure something out," Ezra began. "And then we spent years apart, a world apart. Five years later when you walked in the door after all that time, it felt like the last flat stretch of track of a roller coaster ride, right before it comes to a stop, where your stomach's flipping out and your knees are weak, but you can breathe again. That's when I knew, I want you in my life, Aria, for the rest of my life, and I don't ever want to let you go." I mean, swoon, right?! Most of Tuesday night's episode was spent unraveling the mystery that is Elliot Rollins/Archer Dunhill. The girls uncovered his absolute mess of a burner apartment, along with the extra passports and documents hidden inside it, just in time for Toby to arrive on orders from his new boss, who just happens to be the same guy Spencer made out with in that elevator last week. Oops! Spencer, meanwhile, is on the hunt for Caleb, who's still MIA. Toby knows where he is, but told Spencer that his friend just needs a little more time. Ali was released from the mental hospital, and for some reason she had to have Mary Drake staying with her (since she's family?). We're still not sure if Mary Drake can be trusted, but she was only acting slightly sketchy, and definitely seemed angry at Elliot's deception. Unfortunately, Ali had to discover that Elliot had stolen every penny she had from every account, and while everyone's just sure she'll get her money back when Elliot is located, Ali knows that's not the case...or is it? According to Toby's new boss Marco, Elliot's credit card had been used in Baltimore to rent a car, and then the driver of that car was seen heading down the highway. So either Elliot's still alive, or somebody is onto the liars and is now just messing with them. So basically...what's new? Pretty Little Liars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Freeform. (Eonline)
Did Containment's Series Finale Satisfy or Leave You Stranded? For an episode that wasn't intended to be a series finale, the final episode of The CW's "limited event series" Containment was actually a very satisfying way to go out. Here's how we left everyone in the closing moments of the series: Our little group of refugees had gotten about halfway through the tunnels on their way to escape the cordon when the government started blowing said tunnels up. Teresa (Hanna Mangan Lawrence) and Xander (Demetrius Bridges) realized that it was smarter for them to head back, so they did. They got to Teresa's mom's store, only to find their worst fears realized: Teresa's mom was dead. But they decided to stay and build their family there -- plus, Xander proposed. On the outside, Lex (David Gyasi) and his dad continued to work on his project to expose Dr. Lommers with Leo (Trevor St. John). He also discovered that some of his men were running a dangerous escape ring, so went down in the tunnels to try to find whoever was down there before the explosions killed them. He ran right into Jana (Christina Moses), and explained why they couldn't make a break for the outside together. She asked him what he wanted her to do, then, and at the end of the episode we saw that he'd decided to stay in the cordon and be with his true love. Oh, and his plan with Leo worked, with Dr. Lommers exposed thanks to secret recordings he'd made of her. As for Dr. Cannerts (George Young), he finally stumbled across a way to use little Thomas' blood to stave off the virus for a while. It wasn't a complete cure, but it was on the way. The one problem: He needed too much of Thomas' blood to make it work. However, statistically there should be four other people in the cordon who might have the same antibodies as Thomas so he and Jake (Chris Wood) started a drive to test the blood of everyone in the cordon -- and they found a guy! A priest, no less. Last but not least, Jake. Sweet, sweet Jake with the bulging biceps. After leading the charge to test people for antibodies, he climbed to the top of a skyscraper in the cordon, delivered an inspiring voiceover, and hurled the ashes of his dead girlfriend of two weeks into the air. That's what love does to you, apparently. Love and being trapped inside a wasteland and basically left to die by the American government. All silliness aside, it's kind of disappointing we won't get any more of Chris Wood's biceps -- sorry, Containment -- anymore. It was a tense and sometimes silly exploration of the best and worst of humanity and I would've watched the heck out of another season next summer. What did you think of the Containment finale? Get a good look! Luann de Lesseps shows off her engagement ring to her friends, eliciting a mixture of responses, in The Real Housewives of New York City's Wednesday, July 20, episode, as seen in Us Weekly's exclusive sneak peek. The Bravo series' preview clip features the Countess, 51, letting her costars admire her new bling from fiance Tom D'Agostino Jr. The ladies learned secondhand in last week's episode that Lu -- who divorced Alexandre de Lesseps in 2009 -- had gotten engaged to the businessman. "Put away the daggers, ladies, because it's really happening," de Lesseps says to the camera. Sonja Morgan, who endured drama in 2014 surrounding her commitment ring to now ex-boyfriend Harry Dubin, clearly feels a variety of emotions about the unveiling. "This situation is so loaded because she's coming in with an 8-carat, murky-yellow diamond, when I had a near-flawless, 4-carat, D flawless side diamond," Morgan says. "I'm just like -- oh, god. I'm so happy for her, but ... " Relishing her moment in the spotlight, de Lesseps makes sure to describe every detail of D'Agostino Jr.'s romantic speech. "He was going to propose in Vail, and I kind of knew it because he was like, 'This is going to be a trip you'll never forget,'" she says to the ladies. "We're sitting there. He's like a kid -- he's got the ring in his pocket, basically. And he's like, 'I just cant wait -- will you marry me?' And he gets on his knees in front of the fire. It was unbelievable." Sonja Morgan's Look-Alike Daughter Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance Ramona Singer Responds to Being 'Fired' From Hair Extension Business. D'Agostino Jr. has been a source of tension this season, as Ramona Singer previously dated him, while Morgan has hooked up with him. The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET. (US Weekly)
If you've felt a little lost ever since finishing Netflix's Making A Murderer, you'll be pleased to know the show is set to return with new episodes. We'd always been wondering about whether the hit show would return for a second season, and it seems the makers are just as keen as us to continue the story. Making A Murderer - which followed the real life story of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey as they are convicted of the murder of Teresa Halbach - became hugely popular as soon as it came to Netflix last Christmas. It was nominated for six Emmys, including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction series. As of yet, the new series has no projected release date, but will follow the post-conviction process of Steven and Brendan, as Steven's lawyer Kathleen Zellner grants series directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos exclusive access into the case. Speaking about the new episodes, Ricciardi and Demos commented: "We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of, the series. The viewers' interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold" (British Glamour)
There's a whole new crop of pint-sized pageant queens on Toddlers and Tiaras, and these girls came to win. "The competition has gotten really fierce," explains coach Cambrie in an exclusive sneak peek at the new season. "How pageants used to be with the fake tans and the hair and the teeth, that's just baseline now. You have to be talented and you have to have a good body even when you are 5 years old." And the stakes are only getting higher for the young competitors and their fierce mothers inside the cutthroat world of children's beauty pageants. "Now we have acting classes, facial classes, collagen sprays," says coach Jamie of the Sassy Supremes. ISIS Drama Series Set at Nat Geo Channel. 'Wolf Hall's' Peter Kosminsky will write and direct the fact-inspired co-production with the U.K.'s Channel 4. National Geographic Channel and the U.K.'s Channel 4 are teaming to create a scripted drama series that inspired by militant group ISIS. The untitled four-part drama series will be written and directed by Peter Kosminsky, the Golden Globe winner behind Warriors and Emmy nominated director of Wolf Hall. The co-production is described as a compelling fictional story based on extensive research and first-hand accounts. It will follow four British men and women who leave their lives behind to join ISIS in Raqqah, Syria. The series, which does is set to premiere in 2017 on Nat Geo and Channel 4 in the U.K., is produced by Archery Pictures. A cast is not yet attached. "After a year of extensive research, Peter has written a fascinating fictional story that sheds light on an unknown and unimaginable world," Channel 4 drama head Beth Willis said. "This is a deeply authentic drama through which we are able to question and confront an incredibly complex, divisive and urgent global issue. I'm delighted to be partnering with National Geographic and Archery Pictures to bring Peter's brilliant work to audiences in the U.K. and worldwide." The drama was developed by Channel 4 and commissioned by Piers Wenger and Willis. Archery's Liza Marshall and Kris Thykier will exec produce. "National Geographic has always been on the forefront of covering the complexities of war in our documentary features and series," said Carolyn Bernstein, executive vp and head of global scripted development and production at Nat Geo. "Peter's scripts take that same bold, unblinking approach to telling the fact-based stories of young ISIS recruits and offer an authentic and nuanced look inside one of the most serious global threats we face today." Kosminsky's recent credits include BBC's Wolf Hall, which in addition to winning a Golden Globe also scored a BAFTA award for best drama series and a best actor nod to star Mark Rylance. The untitled ISIS drama becomes the latest Channel 4 project for Kosminsky, who also created drama Blitz, about a British Muslim family who are pulled in different directions following Sept. 11, as well as The Promise, a love story set against the conflict between Israel and Palestine. He's repped by UTA. For Nat Geo, a joint venture between 21st Century Fox and the National Geographic Society, the ISIS drama marks its latest scripted foray since joining the originals fray in April with anthology Genius and Ron Howard. Nat Geo in January announced a new roster of scripted fare in the works after finding success with Bill O'Reilly's Killing miniseries. (Hollywood Reporter)
What's Behind CBS and Viacom's Growth Strategy? More 'Star Trek'. Netflix has nabbed international rights to the all-new TV series streaming exclusively on CBS All Access beginning January 2017. Perhaps Reed Hastings, not Jeff Bezos, should have cameoed in Star Trek Beyond. After all, on July 18, Hastings' Netflix nabbed international rights to CBS' upcoming Star Trek reboot television series from Bryan Fuller -- beating out Bezos' Amazon Prime, which now streams the entire Star Trek TV catalog. (Financial details were not disclosed.) What that means for Netflix is the ability to air each episode of the new show, set to debut in January, to customers in 188 countries -- minus the U.S., where users will need to sign up for the new CBS All Access streaming service, and Canada, where it will air on Bell Media outlets. Netflix also picked up worldwide rights to CBS' Trek catalog, giving the streamer all episodes of the original series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise. Those episodes -- 727 in all -- will be available on Netflix worldwide by the end of 2016. "We do expect general international market trends to see a lift from the rollout of Star Trek content," writes Guggenheim Securities analyst Michael Morris. As CBS was lining up Star Trek's TV future, sister company Viacom was busy extending the film franchise. Days before Star Trek Beyond debuts July 22, Paramount revealed it is moving at warp speed on a fourth chapter. Justin Lin, who helmed Beyond, is not expected to return for the film that will find Chris Pine's Captain Kirk crossing paths with his father (played by Chris Hemsworth). Because George Kirk died in 2009's Star Trek, time travel likely will be involved. Moves for more Star Trek couldn't come at a better time for CBS chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves and Viacom leader Philippe Dauman. Moonves is attempting to position the All Access service as an attractive add-on for cord-cutters or -nevers with a Netflix or Amazon subscription, and a brand with a devoted fan base like Star Trek could help the recruitment effort. More significantly (or, rather, more desperately), the embattled Dauman is attempting to orchestrate the sale of a 49 percent stake in Paramount against the apparent wishes of controlling shareholder Sumner Redstone. (There has been speculation that deep-pocketed Chinese investors, including Wanda Group, already are in late-stage talks pending a resolution of litigation over the company's future.) Big box office for Beyond, which scored a coveted China release, and lining up the next Trek could boost the perceived value of a struggling studio that lacks the franchises of some rivals. Similarly, Paramount has announced new Transformers films. Of course, Dauman might not get the chance to finalize a Paramount deal. Shari Redstone is trying to force him out of the chairman post, citing the preferences of her 93-year-old father. Dauman, who earned $54.2 million in fiscal 2015, even filed paperwork with the SEC laying the groundwork to keep severance payments if he's forced out -- meaning even if he doesn't live long enough at the company to see more Star Trek, he certainly would prosper. Sometimes the only thing that's constant ... is change. It seems that this has never been a more accurate statement on the Roloff farm than during the Tuesday, July 19, episode of Little People, Big World. Some changes were fun: Newlywed Zach Roloff was busy trying to come up with the perfect way to honor his wife's milestone 25th birthday. Some changes were frightening: Matt Roloff underwent a procedure on his neck, only to learn that he would need a more serious surgery down the road. And some changes -- like Matt and Amy gearing up to finalize their divorce -- no one was sure exactly how to feel about. Zach Stresses About Tori's Party. Turning a quarter of a century old is certainly something to celebrate, and Zach was determined to make it his wife's most memorable birthday yet, despite the challenges. "She's my best friend, and I want to be a good husband and put on a birthday party for her," he explained to the camera. Specifically, Zach wanted to throw Tori a surprise party with all of her closest friends and family in attendance. (For anyone who's ever tried to do this, you'll know it's easier said than done.) Zach's desired guest list included his brother Jeremy Roloff and wife Audrey, his sister Molly Roloff -- who he declared was Tori's best friend now -- and Tori's mom, Kim. Amy offered to handle the cakes, and Zach recruited Kim to keep her daughter away from the house while he set up during the day. The only issue? Apparently, Zach is a terrible liar and was extremely stressed about being even the slightest bit dishonest with his better half. Still, it seemed that he had just about pulled it off: Amy had finished the cakes and gone to pick up Molly, while Tori arrived at the house to take the family dog for a run. Amy successfully snuck Molly inside when Tori wasn't looking, and Zach was breathing a sigh of relief. That's when Jeremy and Audrey strolled up and said happy birthday to Tori, potentially ruining Zach's master plan. Matt Goes for a Procedure -- and Confirms He Needs a Much More Serious Surgery Despite his neck giving him all kinds of trouble, Matt insisted on being hands-on with the removal of the pirate ship. "Knowing we have to tear it down and it's not salvageable weighs heavy on my heart," he lamented as Jeremy and Zach reminisced about times they played there as kids. Matt probably shouldn't have been doing that particular physical labor, however, because it ended up making his existing neck condition that much worse, and he ended up at a clinic in Los Angeles getting a cortisone shot for some (temporary) relief. Before he left, he told Amy of the procedure. "We still care about each other," he told the camera, even though he admitted that "things were awkward" between them. Amy took the news in stride and wished him well. "With the divorce almost being final, he wants to handle these health issues on his own," she explained, noting that she "didn't know" where her place in his life was now. The procedure went smoothly, but Matt seemed morose as the staff asked him who would be taking him home, and he answered a car service (and not Amy). His spirits dampened further when the doctor confirmed Matt's fear that he would need a follow-up surgery on his neck that was extremely serious and could lead to paralysis if something went wrong. The Family Rallies Around Matt. Despite their imminent divorce, Amy made it clear that even though they weren't married anymore, she was there for him. Zach and Jeremy also made a point of showing their dad they could step up to the plate, vowing to be more involved in the day-to-day operations of the farm and in more constant communication with each other. Jeremy talked to his wife, explaining how serious the implications of his father's surgery were and adding that it was "rally time" and that the family must "band together" for their dad. Audrey took it in stride and assured Jeremy they would do just that. Jeremy (Almost) Ruins Everything. "I just got done telling him multiple times that it was a surprise party!" Zach fumed to the camera after watching Jeremy say happy birthday to Tori. As it turned out, however, Tori didn't pick up on anything unusual and when the big moment arrived, she was genuinely surprised. "The fact that he kept a secret from me for that long is surprising!" Tori said to the camera. "He is an open book," she added as Zach nodded in agreement. "Having Molly there for my birthday made it that much more special." It was clear that Zach was pretty proud of himself, but he wasn't done yet. Taking his mom's advice to heart, he had also gotten Tori a present. He set up a romantic mini-picnic at the gazebo, popped a bottle of champagne, and presented her with an emerald necklace and set of matching earrings. (Emerald is her birthstone, as Amy had pointed out.) "Zach is thoughtful. The whole setting was perfect," Tori gushed later to the cameras. "Zach killed it." The only cloud on the otherwise sunny event was Matt needing to leave early to rest because of his discomfort, a constant reminder of the hard road he had ahead -- and a sign that he would be traveling that road somewhat more alone since he and Amy were about to sign away their nearly three-decades-long marriage. Little People, Big World airs on TLC Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET. (US Weekly)
The Kardashian dynasty is gaining a princess! Rob Kardashian and fiancee Blac Chyna are expecting a girl, according to a source close to the pair. Says a Kardashian insider, "Rob couldn't be happier." And with just three months until the October due date, Kardashian, 29, and Chyna, 28, mom of son King Cairo, 3 (with rapper ex Tyga, 26), are preparing for their daughter's arrival, the source confirms. The pair, dating since January, have debated getting a baby nurse and planned an "over-the-top extravagant" nursery at Kardashian's $2.2 million Calabasas, California, home, says a family source. All the while, cameras have trailed the stars of E!'s upcoming docuseries Rob & Chyna. "Everything," says a source, "will be on the show." Expect to see a family in harmony. Since learning he'll be a dad, Kardashian has become closer to mom Kris Jenner, 60. Says the source, "Kris has been giving him baby advice." She's also bonding with her future daughter-in-law. "They get excited talking about the baby," adds a family source. And while Rob's once-close sister Khloe, 32, is "learning to accept" the situation, says an insider, Kim, 35, is thrilled: "She is definitely the most involved." (US Weekly)
(Eonline)
Garry Marshall Dead at Age 81. Garry Marshall has passed away at the age of 81, E! News has learned. Marshall suffered from "complications of pneumonia following a stroke at a hospital in Burbank, Calif.," his rep said in a statement. At present time, funeral services will be private and a memorial is being planned for his birthday on November 13. The statement added, "The family requests no flowers. Donations in the name of Garry Marshall can be made to The Saban Community Clinic, formerly known as the Los Angeles Free Clinic, The Intensive Care Unit at Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank, and Northwestern University Undergraduate Scholarship Fund." The Bronx-born Hollywood legend was at the helm of some of the most beloved movies and television series' around, including Pretty Woman, Laverne & Shirley, Mork & Mindy, Happy Days, Overboard, Beaches, Exit to Eden, The Princess Diaries and much, much more. Henry Winkler tweeted his heartfelt thoughts, writing, "Rest In Peace...Thank you for my professional life. Thank you for your loyalty, friendship and generosity." He also acted in the classic hit A League of Their Own, Hocus Pocus and Murphy Brown, just to name a few of the well-known projects he's been linked to over the years. His illustrious career began when he became a writer for The Tonight Show with Jack Paar in the late 1950's, shortly before he moved to Los Angeles to work with Jerry Belson. The duo co-wrote on several hit series' like The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Danny Thomas Show, The Joey Bishop and The Lucy Show. After a short-lived stint as the creator and producers of Hey, Landlord, the writing partners adapted Neil Simon's famous play, The Odd Couple, for television starring Tony Randall as Felix and Jack Klugman as Oscar. (Page Six)
Kate Hudson is renting an $80,000-a-week villa in Ibiza, Spain, sources told Page Six. The pad at Twin Palms resort has five bedrooms, a "state-of-the-art fitness center" and an infinity pool overlooking the sea. Hudson's said it was booked through Airbnb competitor Booking.com. Also, her ex, Matt Bellamy, was seen with his new girlfriend Elle Evans visiting Hudson and the former couple's son, Bingham, on the island. Hudson's also been seen socializing at a dinner with Naomi Campbell and a party hosted by Paris Hilton. Meanwhile, Cher has oddly been trolling Hudson on Twitter, slamming the actress' clothing line, Fabletics. "Made mistake of going2 Fabletics. What a pain in the ass," Cher angrily tweeted. The line's website asks users to answer a series of questions before they shop. (Page Six)
Drake just bought 24 karat gold Air Jordan 10s that put the sneakers in your collection to shame -- and if you're insanely rich ... they come at a bargain.
(Page Six)

The scion, along with 500 guests including pro skateboarder Stevie Williams and artist Al-Baseer Holly, celebrated Richard's streetwear brand, Tango Hotel, with a blowout at the Raleigh Miami Beach. Spies said the party included a half-pipe for skaters and a 45-minute set by rapper Travis Scott. Last year, Hilfiger and Brit singer Rita Ora split after a year of dating.

(Billboard)

DuckTales will debut in 2017 and follow Scrooge McDuck and his grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. Of course Donald Duck is in the mix too. In a release, Disney said the "new adventures will once again take worldwide viewers on high-flying adventures." The DuckTales reboot was first announced in February 2015. "DuckTales has a special place in Disney's TV animation history, it drew its inspiration from Disney Legend Carl Barks' comic books and through its storytelling and artistic showmanship, set an enduring standard for animated entertainment that connects with both kids and adults," Marc Buhaj, senior vice president of programming and the general manager of Disney XD, said in a statement when the show was announced. "Our new series will bring that same energy and adventurous spirit to a new generation." The new teaser art will appear on the back of the comic book DuckTales Cinestory Volume 1, which features a retelling of the first five episodes of the original DuckTales TV series. Fans can grab that at San Diego Comic-Con or in comic book stores beginning Tuesday, Sept. 27. (Eonline)
"Some people think that collagen spray is crazy, but I wish when I was 3 years old someone had one given me a collagen spray so I wouldn't have to worry about wrinkles from happy eyes all day." In past seasons top prize was Ultimate Grand Supreme, but with the brand new Mega Ultimate Grand Supreme, contestants are going to great lengths to take home the crown. Toddlers and Tiaras returns Aug. 24 at 9 p.m. ET for 13 episodes on TLC. (People)
ISIS Drama Series Set at Nat Geo Channel.
ET. (US Weekly)
