Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan Break Up Less Than Six Months After Getting Engaged. Two Disney Channel stars are putting the brakes on any upcoming wedding. E! News can confirm Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan have broken up almost six months after getting engaged. "Dove has decided this relationship isn't what she wants," Ryan shared on Twitter Wednesday afternoon. "We still love each other very much. Please be sensitive, as this is painful." The news comes as a surprise to many fans of the couple. But while discussing wedding planning with E! News just last month, Ryan admitted that there was no rush to get to any altar. "She's so busy. I'm so busy. The last thing we want to do is turn it into another thing on the to-do list, you know what I mean?" the actor told E! News while promoting The Rocky Horror Picture Show. "I mean, we're infants -- we're children -- so we have a lot of time to plan and get it done, and it'll happen when it's supposed to." As for the engagement, Ryan made the announcement in his 1,000th Instagram picture back in April. Talk about timing! "Dedicating my 1,000th post to my fiancee. I can't believe I get to call you that," he wrote. "Thanks for saying yes." "We were both very clear with each other that it was like, 'I know you're my person. You know you're my person. There's nobody else,'" Dove later shared with People. "My whole family was like, 'We like him more than you, so figure it out.'" As the pair goes their separate ways, fans will likely remember the couple's happy moments on and off camera. Whether it's posing on red carpets together or enjoying dates in privacy, this duo has plenty of happy memories to share. "I took her up to this place up in the Hollywood Hills that has basically a panoramic 360 view of all of Hollywood and all of the valley. So, we saw all the lights, the Hollywood sign, the Griffith Park Observatory, and it was so romantic," Ryan once shared with J-14 when recalling his first date. "We were up there until 3 in the morning, just talking and looking at the lights. Then I took her home and it was the most perfect, most romantic first date ever." (Eonline)
Ashton Kutcher Reveals the Sex of Baby No. 2. It's a boy! Ashton Kutcher let it slip on the Today show Thursday morning that he and Mila Kunis's second child will be a boy. While talking to Savannah Guthrie, who is also expecting her second child, Kutcher opened up about his daughter Wyatt Kutcher and said she somewhat understands what's going on with Mila's pregnancy. "She points to Mila and she's like, 'baby brother' when she points to the belly," he said, "and then she points to dad and she goes, 'Beer,' so I think she gets there's something in the belly but I don't quite think that she knows that it's not going to be a plastic doll yet." The Ranch star also confessed that he's a little nervous about having a second kid around, even though he has plenty of experience going through raising Wyatt. "I'm a little terrified to be honest," he admitted. "It's intensely scary." But he did admit that he's not reading every single book this pregnancy. "You have a recognition that they're pretty durable," he joked. "You're not going to break them." Kutcher said that the cause of his stress is all the "rules" about bringing home a second child and introducing it to the older sibling. No matter how things turn out, however, he and Mila have one common goal: to raise children "to not be an a--hole." "The one topic of conversation we had even prior to ever having kids was always how do you raise a child to not be an a--hole?" Mila revealed on The Kyle & Jackie O Show. "And it's so important because we both came from pretty, pretty, solid poverty backgrounds and grew up very poor and are very much self-made and are very aware of what a dollar is worth." Mila also said that it was "beautiful" that her and her husband's kids will never know what it's like "to have ketchup soup for dinner," she did confess that they probably would "never know how to appreciate things." "It's a matter of teaching them from a very early age that you know mommy and daddy may have a dollar, but you're poor," she said, laughing. Congratulations to the happy couple! (Eonline)
Kylie Minogue, 48, has said that she won't get married to her fiance, Joshua Sasse, 28, until same-sex marriage is legal in Australia. The couple have been vocal supporters of "Say I Do Down Under" marriage equality campaign and this latest pledge is testament to that. Mr. Sasse, who helped launch the "yes" campaign over the weekend, said the couple would like to marry in Melbourne, but they won't tie the knot until the "law has passed in Australia". "When I found out that gay marriage was illegal in Australia, I was astounded," he told Australia's Seven Network. "I simply can't fathom on any level, whether it's moral or religious or anything, that I have the right to get married and to marry the person that I love and that somebody else doesn't because of their sexual orientation." The Australian government has proposed a public vote on same-sex marriage in February 2017. (British Glamour)

Michael Jackson's daughter visited Neverland Ranch, the estate she used to call home with her dad and brothers Prince Jackson and Blanket Jackson. Paris, 18, took to Instagram to document her Neverland Ranch adventures, some of which proved to be a little emotional. "Felt so good to be home even for a little bit," she captioned the picture of her gorgeous home. She also caught up with some of the estate's animals at its petting zoo, stopping to take selfies with an alpaca...who had a sense of humor! "He was posing so hard," she wrote. Paris also shared a video of her feeding a goat and the aforementioned alpaca and wrote, "my new friends, Rickie, Survivor, and Kyle :)." Kristen Stewart and St. Vincent have had us all speculating on whether they're a new item since the pair stepped out together at the New York Film Festival this week. Kristen, who was seen with on/off girlfriend Alicia Cargile only a matter of weeks ago, attended the festival for the premiere of her latest movie, Certain Women, but it looked as though the event may have been a date night as she was accompanied by Cara Delevingne's ex-girlfriend St. Vincent. Could a new romance be on the cards? We think so... In fact, the 26-year-old Twilight star and 34-year-old musician have since been spotted hanging out together in New York and even appeared to be wearing slightly matching outfits during a city stroll on Tuesday. They were first seen together in late August when they went for dinner at a West Hollywood restaurant before heading to a show by The Improvised Shakespeare Company. If that doesn't say blossoming romance, then we don't know what does. St. Vincent recently split with British model Cara, who she was reported engaged to while Kristen hasn't been seen with Alicia Cargile since hanging out with the musician. (British Glamour)
Matthew Broderick was open about his marriage to Sarah Jessica Parker at the premiere of her HBO show "Divorce." "I really don't know [why] but I'm glad it has worked," he said of their bond. "We are very good friends. Humor helps a lot, talking a lot and .?.?. we agree about children, mostly, so that helps." He added of any "date nights" to keep romance alive: "That's something we should do more .?.?. because you end up just taking care of the kids all the time." But when asked about Broderick, Parker snapped that she was "not talking about my marriage." (Page Six)
Maze Runner Star Dylan O'Brien Returns to Twitter Following On-Set Accident. Dylan O'Brien has made his return to Twitter. After more than 200 days of being silent on the popular app, the Maze Runner star resurfaced where he showed pride for his favorite baseball team. "LGM baby," he wrote on Twitter Wednesday night before the season came to a close. And for those who aren't exactly sport lovers, the actor is a huge New York Mets fan. The message comes less than five months after the 25-year-old was injured while filming Maze Runner: The Death Cure in Vancouver, Canada. While details were initially sparse, director Wes Ball would later update fans on his co-worker's condition. "Well, it's been a whirlwind of emotions these past few days. I've been overwhelmed with feelings of anger and sadness and guilt," he wrote on Twitter. "But ultimately I find myself left with just a deep love and respect for Dylan. He is one tough cookie." Production was ultimately delayed after Dylan sustained serious injuries. The film initially scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 17, 2017 is now set to be released in January 2018. Fortunately, many signs point to an actor slowly but surely healing from his injuries. Back in August, Dylan was seen at Jamba Juice where an eyewitness told E! News that he was in good spirits and happy to chat with fans. His co-star Giancarlo Esposito also had some encouraging words to say about his close friend. "He's healing very well," he shared with E! News' Marc Malkin. "He got put together a couple of weeks ago... He's one tough cookie." Giancarlo added, "He's a survivor. The one good thing about Dylan that I think is going to help him get back on schedule with us very soon is he has a great attitude." (Eonline)
Kim Kardashian's bodyguard just deleted every mention of her from his social media ... including photos and all references to him working for her. It raises the obvious question -- did Kim and/or Kanye West fire Pascal Duvier? The answer is a resounding ... NO. Sources close to Kim and Kanye tell us they don't blame Pascal for Kim's robbery. As we've reported, he was guarding Kourtney and Kendall that night. But we're told they don't view that as slacking off ... plus, they just like the guy and trust him implicitly. Pascal's had Kim's back since 2012. We're told the social media change is a safety measure to block future crooks from connecting him or his whereabouts to Kimye. Before the scrub, Pascal had a bunch of pics with Kim ... including a reference to the ass kisser takedown. You'll recall, Kim was so impressed with Pascal's swift reaction, she called him a "G." Anton Yelchin's death was his own fault because he misused the Jeep that ended up rolling back and killing him ... at least according to his local dealership. The Valencia, CA Chrysler dealership filed its response to the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Anton's parents ... listing a slew of reasons why it should not be on the hook for anything related to Anton's fatal accident. Most damningly in the docs -- the dealer says Anton's death was the result of his own "misuse, misapplication, or damage" of the Jeep Grand Cherokee that rolled and crushed him. It's not spelled out, but the dealer seems to be hinting Anton made aftermarket changes that damaged the SUV. The company also believes his parents didn't preserve the vehicle as it was at the time of the accident ... which would compromise critical evidence in the case. The dealership is asking the judge to cut them loose from the lawsuit. (TMZ)
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa's concert disaster destroyed a teenager's dreams of being a cheerleading champ, and also her regular dreams at night ... according to a new lawsuit. The woman who's suing says her 16-year-old granddaughter was one of the dozens injured when that railing collapsed at Wiz and Snoop's NJ show in August. She blames the rappers for causing the accident because they yelled, "Everybody in the mother******* grass bring your ass down here." She's also got beef with Live Nation, which manages the venue, for inadequate crowd control. In the docs, she says her granddaughter fell 10 feet onto concrete, got pinned by the crowd, knocked out cold and woke up covered in blood with a broken arm and wrist. The injuries forced her to give up competitive cheerleading, and the girl is having nightmares ... according to the docs. Wiz and Snoop's camps haven't gotten back to us, but Live Nation had no comment. (TMZ)
Cali Swag District claims they were screwed by MC Hammer's brother, Louis Burrell, who pocketed more than $200k in royalties from the group acting as their agent. The "Teach Me How To Dougie" rappers aren't suing Burrell though, at least not yet. Instead they're going after music licensing co. BMI, claiming it's responsible for putting their royalty checks in the wrong hands. But when we got 'em at LAX -- on their way to a gig -- they laid out their inside job theory ... involving Burrell and a mole. They also had some advice for anyone getting into the biz. For his part, Burrell tells TMZ he doesn't "owe any money to Cali Swag District. If they have an issue with BMI, resolve it with them." (TMZ)

"She wants another ring eventually and she will just be very careful on how she displays it going forward," the insider adds. Kim Kardashian has found God -- at a discount -- because after the robbery wealth will no longer be the driver of her brand. Sources close to Kim tell us ... she actually agrees with critics who say she put a target on her back by flaunting her wealth and jewelry on social media. A number of people have been critical of Kim for posing with her $4.5 million diamond ring in the apartment shortly before the hit. We're told Kim is taking a month off work and when she returns she's pulling back in a big way on social media. Lena Dunham has been "thinking about [Kim Kardashian] every day" since she found out about the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star's terrifying Paris robbery. The Girls creator and star discussed Kardashian's life-threatening incident on Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" Wednesday. "So awful. I literally am thinking about her every day like she's my friend even though I don't know her. I'm like, 'Is she feeling okay? Is she talking to somebody? I'm worried," Dunham, 30, told the radio co-hosts about Kardashian West being bound up, gagged and robbed of nearly $11 million worth of jewelry in her No Address Hotel room at 3 a.m. Monday morning. The Lenny Letter founder mentioned that she interviewed Gigi Hadid for the feminist newsletter and the duo discussed the model recently being grabbed by a bystander during Paris Fashion Week. "I have this feminist letter Lenny newsletter and we just interviewed Gigi Hadid about her getting picked up outside the fashion show in Paris. Luckily, she's an amateur boxer. She was able to elbow the guy in the face and get away. But that person felt because she was a public figure that he had the right to pick her up. He probably thought, 'This is a model, she puts her body on display, so why aren't I supposed to touch it?' " Dunham stated. She continued of 35-year-old Kardashian West, "What I really hate about this Kim thing is that people are feeling so much license to make jokes. That's a human being and she may have put her life on display in a specific way and you may not agree with everything that she does, but that is a woman, and a mother and a daughter who's just been put through something so heinous. My heart is with Kim." The actress also addressed her Lenny Letter interview with Amy Schumer in which she recalled meeting NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. and joked about him ignoring her at the Met Gala because she thought he didn't want to sleep with her. "I was in my own head. It was a great lesson to me in how your humor can be misconstrued. To me, so many of my jokes are about being insecure in my body, projecting onto other people, but in the written word, it did not translate," she explained of her insecurities. "I apologized immediately, I apologized to him privately. I think he's the coolest. I think he's an amazing dancer. As little as I know about sports, I respect his career. I just will be much more careful in the future about making sure that my humor translates and that it's not creating destructive images for young black guys." Dunham, whose sixth and final season of Girls will air in 2017, said of filming on the HBO series, "I have to say that last night I was weeping like a mother bleeping baby. I couldn't believe it just because it's been my -- I started writing the show when I was 23, I'm 30 now. That's my family. Those are my best friends, so it felt like this crazy loss." (People)
Only in New York! Rosie O'Donnell tweeted a message to Ivanka Trump, daughter of her arch-nemesis Donald Trump, after the two women met up in Manhattan on Wednesday, October 5. "@IvankaTrump in a city of 8 million-we meet face 2 face-I thank u 4 listening-mother 2 mother-on this new year's week-my best 2 us," the former View host, 54, tweeted on Wednesday night, referencing the Jewish holiday. The chance encounter -- which O'Donnell told ABC Eyewitness News anchor Bill Ritter happened when the pair bumped into each other at the NYC restaurant Nobu at about 9 p.m. -- comes just 10 days after Republican presidential nominee Trump, 70, revisited his decade-long feud with the talk-show host during. O'Donnell's name came up when Democratic presidential candidate Hillary accused the former Apprentice host of making disparaging comments about women. "Somebody who has been very vicious to me, Rosie O'Donnell, I said very tough things to her and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her," Trump said during the debate on September 26. O'Donnell, took to Twitter shortly afterwards, calling the real estate mogul an "orange anus" and insisting, "He will never be president." Their animosity dates back to 2006, when O'Donnell criticized Trump on The View after he held a press conference about then-Miss USA Tara Conner, who had reportedly been seen drinking, using drugs and kissing a woman. She mocked his haircut and his morals, telling viewers that he had been married twice, amid rumors of infidelity, and declared bankruptcy multiple times. Trump retaliated by calling the actress, "disgusting" and "a slob" with a "fat, ugly face." The outspoken pair's feud has continued on and off -- with shots fired from both sides -- ever since. Kourtney Kardashian broke her silence following her sister Kim Kardashian's scary Paris robbery via Twitter on Wednesday, October 5. The reality star, 37, posted a passage from her daily prayer book. "Remember that joy is not dependent on your circumstances. Some of the world's most miserable people are those whose circumstances seem the most enviable," the quote read. "People who reach the top of the ladder career-wise are often surprised to find emptiness awaiting them. True Joy is a by-product of living in My Presence. Therefore you can experience it in palaces, in prisons... anywhere." "Do not judge a day as devoid of Joy just because it contains difficulties," the quote continued. "Instead, concentrate on staying in communication with Me. Many of the problems that clamor for your attention will resolve themselves. Other matters you must deal with, but I will help you with them. If you make problem-solving secondary to the goal of living close to Me, you can find joy even in your most difficult days." Kourtney was in the City of Light when the Selfish author, 35, was robbed at gunpoint at the Hôtel de Pourtalès around 2:25 a.m. on Monday. She, along with half-sister Kendall Jenner, were with Kim's bodyguard Pascal Duvier at a club at the time. The 20-year-old model also returned to social media on Wednesday. "low key look," Jenner captioned an Instagram photo of herself wearing a heart-shaped fur coat. All three sisters left on separate planes hours later. Kim reunited with Kanye West and their children -- North, 3, and Saint, 10 months -- at their downtown NYC apartment hours after the terrifying incident. Kourtney is back home in Calabasas, California. As previously reported, Kim's rep told Us Weekly that she was shaken by what happened, but was "physically unharmed." Nevertheless, the famous family is now taking extra precaution and implementing new safety measures. "This incident was a completely life-changing event for Kim," an insider told Us on Wednesday. "She realizes she was living in a bubble doing what she was doing. She loved flaunting her wealth and being so public. She felt safe and never really thought about her vulnerability. Now she knows she was so naive. Everything has to change going forward." The five assailants, who stole more than$10 million of jewelry while pretending to be policeman, are still at large. The investigation is still ongoing. (US Weekly)

Fans of Thomas Rhett know you don't have to scroll far down his Instagram feed to see countless adorable photos of him and his wife Lauren Akins, the undeniable muse behind his newest single "Star of the Show." And the country singer is a proud hubby too -- he often tweets about the work Akins does with the 147 Million Orphans organization, encouraging fans to click over to her page for details of Akins' interactions with young children on various mission trips to in Uganda, Haiti and Honduras. It's his wife's passion for the project that inspired Rhett to host his first ever charity concert, held Tuesday evening in Nashville. "This event was spurred by Lauren's heart and 147 Million Orphans' heart and by how much they love those kids," Rhett, 26, told PEOPLE exclusively at the Thomas Rhett & Friends event, which raised over $250,000 for the organization. During the intimate gathering at The Old School, friends and fans of the couple enjoyed a farm-to-table dinner and bid on tables to attend a private concert hosted by Rhett. The singer, 26, was joined onstage throughout the night by Dierks Bentley, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line and producer/songwriter Shane McAnally, as well as singer/songwriters Russell Dickerson and Walker Hayes. The crowd was treated to plenty of hits, from Rhett's "Die a Happy Man" and "Crash & Burn" to Bentley's "Different for Girls," "Somewhere on a Beach" and FGL's "Cruise" before ending the night with a post-show s'more roasting. "We are super tight with TR and it means so much to us to be able come out tonight, support him and this amazing charity," Kelley told PEOPLE. "We have been beyond blessed and any chance that we have to give back we are there!" It was an extra special evening for Akins, who admitted volunteering with147 Million Orphans -- which provides for critical needs of children impacted by the orphan crisis and living in poverty -- has helped fill a void. "This is what's been missing from my life, this is what my heart has been ready for," Akins told PEOPLE of the experience. In addition to bringing medical supplies to orphanages, the group also provides for basic needs, including clean mattresses and covers. On one particular trip to Uganda, Akins, along with the 147 Million team, helped clean and rid an entire dormitory of bedbugs and later replaced all the mattresses including new sheets and bed covers. "When we were in Uganda, the boys and girls dorms were infested with bed bugs. When you ripped open the mattresses, the bugs scattered everywhere. They didn't have a covering on the mattress, so when kids wet the bed at night, it would go into the mattress," Akins, a certified nurse, explains. While trying to gather supplies for a trip, the pair found themselves at a Walmart in Denver, Colorado, buying all the sheets and mattress pads they could find because the local stores in Nashville had run out. "They're precious -- you want to bring them all home," Akins, 26, says of the children she gets to spend time with. "One day we're gonna figure out how to bring them all home." All joking aside the couple, who will celebrate their fourth anniversary next week, admit that adoption could be in the cards eventually, as the topic hits close to home. "We both have a huge heart for orphans and I think definitely one day we'd want to [adopt]," Rhett, who hopes to join Akins on a trip later this year, said. "Even before we got married, [adoption] is something I've been passionate about. My mother is adopted -- I've been a product of that," explained Akins. "If that's how the Lord wants to design our family, we'll roll with it. We definitely want kids." (People)
Too bad "The Real Housewives of NYC" cameras weren't rolling Monday night at the Regency Hotel when Dorinda Medley allegedly had a meltdown and attacked investment banker Sylvester Miniter IV with her high heel. Multiple witnesses say Medley had come from a well-lubricated lunch at Le Bilboquet before she started inexplicably screaming at Harry Dubin. "Harry walked into a s?-?-?tshow," said one source. "When Sylvester tried to be a peacemaker and told Dorinda she was being inappropriate, Dorinda, who had her shoes in her hand, tried to spike him in the head with a high heel." Dorinda's boyfriend John Mahdessian soon showed and up and took her home. Dorinda apologized profusely the next day, sources said. Dorinda denies she attacked anyone. "It was her late husband's birthday. She'd been at his grave all day, and it was just too much for her," a spokesperson said. "She took her shoes off because her feet hurt." (Page Six)
Talia Balsam married George Clooney more than 25 years ago, but she has no regrets about the next hunk she wed, "Mad Men" star John Slattery. "I really like being married. I love my husband. I like the team effort [of] having each other's backs," Balsam told us of Slattery, whom she wed in 1998, five years after her split from Clooney. Kim Zolciak Releases The Kraken On All The 'F*ckers' Bullying Her 19-Year-Old Daughter Brielle! Someone poked the wrong momma bear! On Wednesday, Kim Zolciak-Biermann WENT OFF on all the "f*ckers" who continue to bully her 19-year-old daughter Brielle Biermann on social media. Snap snap! In the series of angry videos posted to Snapchat, the 38-year-old reality star defended her first born who has received a ton of backlash from strangers after getting some work done on her face. The Don't Be Tardy star captioned the rant: "You best quit! U lowlife cyber bullies! It's disgusting and you wonder why you got time to write comments cuz u have no life." And here's what Kim had to say: "Oh hell no, you f*ckers on Bravo TV under Brielle's pictures writing comments. You're f*cking with the wrong one, honey – the wrong one." Adding: "So you guys want to know how I've manifested this amazing life, and have an amazing husband, six healthy, beautiful children? It's because of who the f*ck I am and how I treat people. And when I say it's because of who I am, it's because of who I am, my character, who I am as a person, I do what I say I'm going to do, I'm a woman of my f*cking word. I'm honest. I don't have these blessings because I sit behind a computer screen and write nasty f*cking comments about a 19 year old." She isn't wrong! The TV personality went on to threaten the trolls: "I would love for all you f*ckers to post your daughters on your page so I can tell you exactly what the f*ck I think about her. Ok, you low-life pieces of sh*t? Get off Bravo TV and stop talking sh*t about my daughter and get a f*cking life." Clearly, KZB raised a strong young woman, as Brielle is able to stand her ground against the negativity: "Do you not see that you are the reason why this world is so f*cked up? You're grown-a** adults. They say, 'Don't feed into it.' I'm so over the nasty comments and sh*t. If my daughter wasn't strong can you imagine what the f*ck you would do to her with your comments?" Bye, haters!!! Then, in probably our favorite part, the Florida native wrapped her tirade by saying: "Now let me take my neck warmer off and get back to f*cking work." (Perez Hilton)

Fetty Wap rolled into court Wednesday with $165k in cold hard cash to settle up several driving offenses except the one he says he's really guilty of -- DWB-AR ... driving while black and rich. Fetty overprepared for his appearance in the NJ courtroom, where he entered many guilty pleas. The judge only hit him with a $360 fine, so he left with most of his stacks ... and flaunted the dough outside. He was facing charges for driving with a suspended license, overly tinted windows and failure to replace lost or defaced license plates. All of that stemmed from his July arrest, but all's well that ends well. He's keeping the tinted windows though -- Fetty's lawyer, Navarro Gray, told the judge its necessary due to the rapper's glaucoma. (TMZ)

Lady Gaga Performs "Million Reasons" Off New Album Joanne. Lady Gaga is giving fans more to love! In anticipation of the release of her new album Joanne, Lady Gaga has released two songs: "Perfect Illusion" and now "Million Reasons." The songstress performed "Million Reasons" live for the first time in Nashville as part of the Bud Light x Lady Gaga Dive Bar tour, and it was also streamed live on Bud Light's Facebook page. Two other dive bar tours in undisclosed locations are set for Oct. 20 and 27 and will also be live-streamed on Facebook. Lady Gaga previously opened up to E! News about Joanne and "Perfect Illusion," telling us that the connection between her confessional lyrics and ex-fiance Taylor Kinney was inevitable. "I would just say that my music on my album as well as all my albums is inspired by my personal life and this one more than others," she told E! News when asked about the song's meaning. "I have said it before -- I love Taylor so much and he's my best friend." And based on the preview of "Million Reasons" released earlier, we're sure there will definitely be fans questioning whether this song is also about her former love. "You're giving me a million reasons to let you go / You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show / You're giving me a million reasons," she sings. Co-written by popular Nashville songwriter Hillary Lindsey ("Girl Crush"), "Million Reasons" will be anything but typical. Lady Gaga described it to Yahoo Music as "a country song mixed with funk and rock 'n' roll. You would never imagine it would sound that way...the feeling underneath the record is it's almost got like a little bit of a hip-hop feeling. But at the same time, it's not a hip-hop song." She continued, "It's kind of like I just had no boundaries making music -- and neither do any of the other people we were working with. It was kind of like what feels right, what hits the best, what's going to get everybody in their stomach and their heart." Listen to the song in full and let us know what you think about it. Joanne will be released Oct. 21. (Eonline)
Drake has some sad news for fans in Toronto, Philadelphia and Newark, New Jersey. The 29-year-old rapper has postponed upcoming Summer Sixteen tour dates in the cities on doctor's orders after suffering an ankle injury, he announced in a statement on OVO's blog. "I am crushed to even be typing this announcement because I feel like I am letting my fans in these cities down," the "Controlla" rapper wrote. "I hate to be told I can't do something, but under doctor's orders to allow me time to recuperate, I am being forced to postpone the intense three shows in a row in cities which have only ever shown me unconditional support." He wrote that he has done more than 50 shows on the tour alongside rapper Future, and will resume with the second of two planned dates at Newark's MetLife Stadium. Drake promised to return to the tour with "new music and a stronger ankle." This is not the first time Drake has had to alter the highly-anticipated tour. In June -- just one month before the tour kicked off -- he canceled all VIP packages, a source previously told PEOPLE. The packages sold for up to $1,000 and some included a photo opportunity, the source said. The insider added that the sessions were canceled due to "scheduling issues" and fans were receiving refunds. (People)
It looks like Drake's ankle's gone from 0 to 100 overnight ... meaning it miraculously healed, or the injury was suspicious in the first place. The rapper played a show in Chicago Wednesday night, and based on the running he did onstage in this video ... his "recent ankle injury" isn't nearly as bad as he made it sound when he postponed a bunch of shows earlier in the day. Get ready for the conspiracy theories, especially since one of the delayed concerts is in Philly, Meek Mill's turf. To be fair, Drizzy made it sound like the problem was performing on consecutive nights. (TMZ)
So meta! Melissa Etheridge revealed on Wednesday, October 5, that Angelina Jolie's team reached out to her after she commented on the Oscar winner's divorce from Brad Pitt -- so she wrote a song about it. The Grammy winner, who used to be friends with the Moneyball star, sang the song on Watch What Happens Live about being contacted by Jolie's team -- which is being led by crisis manager, Judy Smith, a "fixer" who was the inspiration for Kerry Washington's Scandal character -- with what she described as "a subtle warning." "There are people whose job it is to kind of fix things for celebrities," said Etheridge, who spoke about the Brangelina divorce while on WWHLhost Andy Cohen's SiriusXM radio show on Monday, October 3. "I haven't spoke to Brad in forever," the 55-year-old continued in her interview on Wednesday night. "Every time I say something it gets turned around and twisted and all of a sudden I'm saying something about [Angelina] ... so I thought I would do what I do best, and I wrote a song about it today." The song, which she finished writing in the dressing room, is called "The Fixer Blues" and references Etheridge's previous two marriages as she tells the story of what happened after she spoke out this week. "Seems I said some things about an old, old, old friend that got some people talking," she sang. "Well, I know broken hearts, a thing or two about divorce, I've been there before once, OK twice. And I have not seen my friend in over 10 years and I swear I have never, ever, ever, ever, ever met his wife." After insisting she's not trying to say who's wrong or who's right, she addressed Smith herself: "Fixer, I hope you understand to scandalize was never my plan." Then Etheridge concluded, "So the moral of this story is divorce is a bitch and nobody wins. Let's not do unto others and please forgive us our sins, life is too hard anyway. So when you chatting with Andy, you better watch what you say." Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from Pitt, 52, on September 19 after two years of marriage and 12 years together. (US Weekly)
Grimes had an epic time on her summer AC!D Reign Tour, and the evidence appeared unexpectedly on Wednesday (Oct. 5) when she did a data dump of seven new videos as part of a 38-minute short film entitled The AC!D Reign Chronicles: The War of Art (A Trashique Adventure). The lo-fi clips filmed with her pal and collaborator singer HANA and Grimes' brother, Mac, cover the Art Angels tracks "World Princess Part II," "Butterfly," "Scream" and "Belly of the Beat," as well as images for three HANA songs: "Chimera," "Underwater" and "Avalanche." "These 7 videos were shot over a 2 week period throughout Europe during The AC!D Reign Tour," she wrote in a tweet announcing the project. "They are guerrilla style vids, a la reality, so there was no crew, makeup, cameras, lights. Just us and a phone, so maybe don't expect anything too fancy. That said, we're really proud of what we made." The singer wasn't kidding when she said the effort was no-frills, rocking the stage with Taiwanese rapper Aristophanes in "Scream," dancing while wearing a mask in lush gardens (and at the feet of a statue of Goethe) in "Butterfly," rocking a giant red wig, twirling umbrellas on London's Millennium bridge and partying with her crew on a private jet in "World Princess II" and making the hills come alive with some ballet in lush fields and an empty mansion in "Belly of the Beat." The HANA portion of the film (which can be watched in one chunk, or as individual clips), finds the singer doing some abstract dance moves in front of BMX bikers on city streets for "Chimera," crooning from a treetop and taking a powder in an empty fountain in "Underwater" and looking lonesome twirling in a haunted mansion in "Avalanche." Dierks Bentley & Elle King on Why 'Different for Girls' Is a Different Kind of Country Hit. "This is the song that I lost sleep about it being a single because I was scared people weren't going to get it or it would be too much for people to handle," Bentley says. Dierks Bentley and Elle King took time to celebrate the success of their Country Airplay chart-topper "Different for Girls" at trendy Nashville eatery Moto on Tuesday, and one thing is very apparent: There's a mutual respect between the two artists from different genres and a genuine warmth, as many times the duo would try to see who could make the other crack up the most during a morning press conference. When asked how each artist's fanbase has respected the other, King didn't miss a beat: "You have a lot more fans than I do. So I've gotten some of his. I saw today that one of his fans and one of her friends made two dolls. The girl was mad because she had to make a straw Elle King because she wanted to make a straw Dierks." Bentley chuckled at the singer's comments while saying he feels that Nashville really has accepted King. "Last time we were in town together, it was amazing. The whole community took Elle in and really made her feel welcome. I think she's got a lot of fans in the country world. We always need strong female voices in town. ... There's a lot of girls who can relate to her and look up to her for inspiration. I feel like my fans have embraced her. I don't know whether her fans have embraced me," he quipped. King refused to let the subject die, saying, "No, that's not true. He's so handsome. I have a lot of girlfriends and guy friends who think you're handsome too," adding, "My mom is his number one fan." Bentley knows the song is a little bit different from songs such as "What Was I Thinkin'," his first chart-topper back in 2003. Since then, he's become a husband and a father, and while he feels those events haven't affected his music, he did admit that life happens and one has to adjust to it. "I don't think my music has changed to reflect getting married or having kids. But ... if you want to continue to write your own songs, you've got to find deeper stuff to write about. You've got to go to different places. When I go onstage now and sing 'What Was I Thinkin',' I still feel like the same guy who wrote that song and I can feel that moment, but if I wrote it today, it probably wouldn't be as authentic. I'm not running through cornfields and the police isn't chasing me as much these days," he joked. The Capitol recording artist says while he's not necessarily singing about diaper changes or baby bottles, he feels his life has always been reflected in his music. "I don't want to write songs about kids or stuff like that, but I feel like I've always written songs about my life -- whether it was 'Modern Day Drifter,' when I was on the road 300 days a year, or now, the song 'Black.' Where I'm at in my relationship with my wife or my family and life in general, I feel like it all comes out in the music. Hopefully, it's always there, but in an ambiguous and abstract way and not real straightforward." When asked about her approach to the song, King admitted some of the lyrics were spot-on. "I got sent the song, and I didn't know what they were going to have me sing," she said. "Truly, I tried to learn it on the way to the studio. It happened that quickly when I finally called him back. I didn't know what he wanted, but I remembered listening to the song and just laughing about how he's singing about girls reacting differently to a breakup. I do all the bad things we sing about in the song. I'm really messy. I don't get out of bed. I drink -- or I used to," she teased. The success of the song also earned a vocal collaboration of the year nomination from the CMA Awards next month. "I didn't ever expect it," King said of the nomination, "but now looking back, I'm singing with him, so of course that would have happened. It's a total honor, and it means I get to come and hang out with him and get free booze -- so it's a win-win." The nod is one of three for Bentley, and he says you can't take them for granted because there's always someone out there wanting that slot. "You know, when you think about it, there are great people playing down on Lower Broad at this moment. The competition is so stiff, and that's the next generation trying to get their way up here. It's really hard to be in the top five of anything in this town. I never had any expectations on it. This is the song that I lost sleep about it being a single because I was scared people weren't going to get it or it would be too much for people to handle. So for it to be nominated is a huge deal. A lot of collaborations happened this year, so that's really cool." In addition to the No. 1 party, the duo was looking forward to performing the song Tuesday at the Grand Ole Opry -- an event King never could have imagined. "It means the world to me," she said. "I don't know if people know how much I grew up loving country music. I can't really get my words out about it, because I'm nervous. I'm so excited but a little tongue-tied today," As for Bentley, he's in the final stages of his Somewhere on a Beach Tour and will begin his next outing -- titled What the Hell -- on Jan. 19 in Dayton, Ohio, with Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi as his opening acts. Two days after the tour commences, Bentley will play his first headlining gig at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, which he admits will be a night he won't forget. After all, before he made it, he played literally up and down Lower Broadway. "That's going to be a really special moment. Just thinking about it doesn't seem real. It won't be until I poke my head around the corner and see Cole out there getting them fired up. It's one of those things that is hard to actually think about. I remember one night, a buddy of mine called me and said he would give me dinner at the Palm if you bring your guitar down and sing for some of my friends. Kenny Chesney was onstage at Bridgestone that night, and I was across the street at the Palm. I sang a few songs and got a steak dinner. I felt like I was opening for Kenny that night. You know, in a way, you can justify anything, even though I wasn't in the same building. It will be a special moment." (Billboard)
Robbie Williams to Receive BRITs Icon Award. Robbie Williams will be honored next month with the BRITs Icon Award ahead of the 2017 BRIT Awards. The pop star is already the most-awarded BRITs winner in history, with 17 wins as a solo artist and as a member of Take That. The Icon Award is the highest accolade bestowed by the British recording industry's flagship ceremony and it's presented to artists whose writing, recording and performances have set them apart as having made a "lasting impact" on the nation's culture. Williams becomes just the third recipient of the prestigious award, following Elton John and the late David Bowie. "The BRIT Awards are very special to me," the singer says in a statement, "and I'm humbled to be receiving the 18th of my career next month." To celebrate the honor, Williams will play an intimate one-off show at London's Troxy on Nov. 7. The show will then be televised on the free-to-air ITV network for a special 90-minute show to be aired in December. The 42-year-old has enjoyed fame and fortune like few other singers. As a solo artist, Williams has amassed an impressive seven U.K. No. 1 singles and 11 No. 1 albums-a tally matched only by Elvis Presley. And he has shifted more than 18 million solo albums in Britain alone, with worldwide sales topping 55 million units. Williams' eleventh studio Heavy Entertainment Show, his first since signing with Sony Music earlier this year, is scheduled to drop Nov. 4. (Billboard)
Jennifer Lopez to Release Spanish Album, Executive Produced by Marc Anthony. Jennifer Lopez is working on a new, all-Spanish album, and she's doing it together with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, who will act as executive producer, Billboard has learned. Set for release in 2017, the first single from the new production is slated for November. This will be Lopez's first all-Spanish album in a decade. Back in 2007, she released her Spanish-language debut, Como Ama Una Mujer, which debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, and at the time, it was only the fifth Spanish-language album to debut in the top 10 of the all-genre chart. Como ama una mujer was co-produced by Anthony, who now comes in as an executive producer on Lopez's new album via an alliance with his entertainment company, Magnus Media, and Sony Music Latin, which will release the set. Magnus will also provide consulting services to Lopez for the Hispanic market in marketing, content development and touring. "I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots with Marc Anthony and the Sony/Magnus family," Lopez said in a statement. The truth is, Lopez has never stopped celebrating her Latin roots, and in the past few years alone, she's had several high-profile collaborations with Latin acts, including Pitbull ("On the Floor"), Wisin y Yandel ("Follow the Leader"), Wisin and Ricky Martin ("Adrenalina"), Prince Royce and Pitbull ("Back It Up") and, of course, Marc Anthony. Most recently, Lopez recorded "Love Make the World Go Round" with Lin-Manuel Miranda. "[Jennifer] has had enormous accomplishments in her career and has been representing our culture all over the world from day one," Marc Anthony said in a statement. "Her artistry, professionalism and passion for music are just some of the many attributes that have earned her a unique place in the entertainment world that very few people have been able to obtain. I am looking forward to our creative collaboration and to be part of continuing her musical legacy." Expectations are high surrounding Lopez's new Spanish set. At the time of its release in 2007, Como Ama Una Mujer set the record for the largest sales week for an act's debut Spanish-language album. That record would later be broken by Romeo Santos, but Lopez still maintains the record among female artists' debut Spanish-language albums. "Jennifer is one of the most iconic Latina superstars of all time and a longtime member of the Sony family," added Afo Verde, Chairman & CEO, Latin America, Spain and Portugal, Sony Music Entertainment. "We're very excited to partner with her and Marc on a project that is all about spotlighting her spirit and soul." Aside from her recording career, Lopez is currently working on season 2 of her hit NBC series Shades of Blue. In December she will complete the first year of her All I Have residency in Las Vegas at the AXIS Theater in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. (Billboard)

'Wolverine 3': First Photo of an Older Professor X Revealed. 'Loga' director James Mangold shared a look at Patrick Stewart from the film. Professor X is back -- and he's looking more seasoned than in previous films. Logan director James Mangold has shared the first photo of Patrick Stewart from Logan, the third Wolverine film starring Hugh Jackman. The reveal comes one day after Mangold shared the first poster and a page from the script, which included plot details such as this version of Logan is older, has a diminished healing factor, chronic pain and drinking issues. "Basically, if you're on the make for a hyper choreographed, gravity defying, city-block destroying CG f--kathon, this ain't your movie," the script read. "In this flick, people get hurt or killed when shit falls on them. They will get just as hurt or just as killed if they get hit with something big and heavy, like, say, a car. Should anyone in our story have the misfortune to fall off a roof or out a window, they won't bounce. They will die." Logan is set for March 3, 2017. (Billboard)
'Nice Guys' Actress Joins Sofia Coppola's 'The Beguiled' Remake (Exclusive). Angourie Rice joins Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, Kirsten Dunst and Colin Farrell in the film. Angourie Rice, who starred opposite Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe in Shane Black's The Nice Guys, has been cast in Sofia Coppola's next movie, The Beguiled. The film has put together a strong case with Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, Kirsten Dunst and Colin Farrell attached to star. Coppola, who will direct, wrote the screenplay based on a novel by Thomas Cullinan. There, the desires of the lonely women set off a whirlwind of jealousy, hate and lust. Farrell will play the soldier originally played by Eastwood while Kidman, Fanning, Dunst and Rice will play residents at the girls' academy. Sofia Coppola, Roman Coppola and Youree Henley are producing the film while Fred Roos is executive producing. Focus will distribute the project. After appearing in Black's 70s-set buddy cop movie The Nice Guys, Rice recently joined Sony and Marvel's Spiderman: Homecoming starring Tom Holland and Zendaya. She'll also be seen in coming of age indie Jasper Jones with Toni Collette and Huge Weaving. She's repped by WME and Catherine Poulton Management. (Hollywood Reporter)

Box-Office Preview: 'Girl on the Train' Set to Blast Past 'Birth of a Nation'. 'Birth of a Nation' opens amid ongoing questions about the 1999 rape case involving director-actor Nate Parker. Director Tate Taylor's The Girl on the Train is widely expected to hurtle past the competition at the North American box office this weekend, including embattled filmmaker Nate Parker's slave-rebellion drama The Birth of a Nation. One question mark for all films is Hurricane Matthew, which is bearing down on Florida and other coastal cities in the southeastern United States. Produced by Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks and distributed by Universal, Girl on the Train is an adult psychological thriller starring Emily Blunt that was adapted from the bestselling book by British author Paula Hawkins. According to projections, the movie is set to open in the mid-$20 million range. The Girl on the Train, about a troubled woman who witnesses disturbing events during her daily train commute, also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Allison Janney, Edgar Ramirez and Lisa Kudrow. Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff produced. The female-skewing movie has drawn somewhat mixed reviews, but the popularity of the book is expected to deliver strong results. The Girl on the Train cost DreamWorks under $50 million to make, and those behind the movie are hoping the film mimics the success of Fox's Gone Girl, which debuted to $37 million on the same weekend in 2014 on its way to earning nearly $370 million worldwide. Birth of a Nation, Parker's directorial debut, is predicted to open in the $7 million-$8 million range, a muted start considering the film was the darling of the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, where a fierce bidding war resulted in a record $17.5 million sale to Fox Searchlight. The period drama, centering on the Nat Turner slave rebellion of 1831, seemed the ideal antidote to the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, and was widely viewed as an obvious contender in the upcoming Oscar race. But over the summer, Parker came under fire over a 1999 trial, in which he and Jean Celestin, who later co-wrote Birth of a Nation, were accused of raping a classmate at Penn State. Parker, who maintained the sex was consensual, was acquitted, while Celestin was convicted. (Celestin's case was overturned on appeal.) Just days after Parker made new comments about the incident, in a couple of interviews, it was revealed that the accuser committed suicide in 2012. Birth of a Nation is opening in roughly 2,100 theaters, a large footprint for an indie film. In addition to directing, Parker stars opposite Armie Hammer, Aja Naomi King, Jackie Earle Haley, Penelope Ann Miller and Gabrielle Union. The weekend's third new nationwide offering is the YA comedy Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life, from CBS Films and Participant Media, and distributed by Lionsgate. Middle School, based on the 2011 novel of the same name by James Patterson and Chris Tebbits, was directed by Steve Carr and stars Griffin Gluck, Lauren Graham, Rob Riggle, Retta, Thomas Barbusca, Andy Daly and Adam Pally. Christian Slater Wants to Be Kelly Ripa's Permanent Co-Host. Is Christian Slater looking to leave Mr. Robot?! Don't worry -- it's not what it seems. The hit USA show star appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday and talks to host Ellen DeGeneres about his recent stint of guest-hosting alongside Kelly Ripa on Live! With Kelly. "I love it, I live about, you know, six blocks away from there," Slater tells DeGeneres of the studio's location. "It's one of the greatest jobs ever, so yeah, Kelly, I'm available! Let's do it!" Not only would it be convenient for him, he also wouldn't mind what would be his everyday colleague. "I love her, she's amazing," Slater gushes about Ripa. But what about Mr. Robot? Certainly he wouldn't trade places. Much to fans' delight he says he can "absolutely handle both jobs." Phew! "I'm putting my hat in the ring, why not?" Slater says about ABC's hunt for Ripa's permanent co-host. Ripa's search for a new co-host after Michael Strahan left continues, but for now she has launched a contest allowing anyone to try out for the role. Other candidates include Neil Patrick Harris and Fred Savage, but Anderson Coooper, a popular choice, took himself out of the running. Harris, however, told E! News that while it would be a delightful opportunity, he doesn't know if it would be for him because of the year-round schedule. "I've got another good job," he told us. "I'm doing a series for Netflix that'll happen in January and that takes up well over half my year. So the rest of my time is spent with my family, chilling and relaxing." He did, however, mention how fun it is to do Live! here and there. "The fun thing about Kelly is that you get to show up at 8:30, be on TV at 9, shoot the breeze, meet some fun people and then you're out by 10:07," he explained. "So it's a nice gig, but I wouldn't want to do it all year long." We'll just have to continue to wait to see whom Ripa chooses. (Eonline)
Once Upon a Time Reveals How Cinderella Got Her Name. We all know Once Upon a Time loves an origin story, and this one sure is sad. In the Sunday, Oct. 9 episode, Once Upon a Time revisits Cinderella (Jessy Schram) to learn a bit more about her background. In the exclusive clip, we find out how she got her name. Basically, her stepmother and stepsisters are big jerks. Classic Cinderella. You see, her prized possession, a gown from her mother, was unceremoniously destroyed by her evil step-family. Ella + cinders = Cinderella. The episode, titled "The Other Shoe," finds a lot of families reuniting thanks to the new arrivals from the Land of Untold Stories. Ashley/Ella seeks help from Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), and Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) to find her step-family in order to settle some unfinished business "before it's too late." Viewers will also get to see Cinderella attend the ball and meet her prince, while Regina (Lana Parilla) further attempts to defeat the Evil Queen. Then there's David (Josh Dallas) who makes a deal with Gold (Robert Carlyle) -- is that ever a good idea? -- and delivers a message to Belle (Emilie De Ravin) in hopes of getting new information about his father. Schram made her Once Upon a Time debut in 2011's "The Price of Gold" where Ella struck a deal with Rumple after he killed her fairy godmother. Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC. Empire Needed Much More Mariah Carey. Mariah Carey finally made her debut on Empire -- but if you stepped out of the room for a minute while you were watching, you might've missed a full third of her performance on the show. For all the hype that surrounded her appearance, the show barely used Mimi and her undeniable star power. We first met Mariah -- sorry, we mean Kitty, the mega-superstar singer who is clearly based on Mariah Carey, she just isn't technically playing herself -- when Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) pulled a few strings and got the singer to collaborate with Jamal (Jussie Smollett). Only Jamal's post-shooting PTSD made it impossible for him to perform. That initial meeting, which took approximately two minutes in total, was the entirety of Mariah's first scene. Then came Jamal and Kitty's duet -- well, at least their attempted duet, which almost didn't happen (again, Jamal's PTSD was to blame). You'd probably already seen the first half of the scene, considering Mariah tweeted it a few days ago. The second half? The completed duet, which was also released ahead of time (and sounded wonderful, duh.). In summation: Those were the two scenes Mariah appeared in. For an appearance that was teased for years before it finally happened, you'd think they would've made the most of the Mimi they had -- and put her in more than two scenes that lasted for less than five minutes total. Sure, it was fun -- but we would like to see much more Mariah if she appears on the show in the future. Empire airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox. (Eonline)
Thomas Gibson's Final Criminal Minds Episode Aired, But There Was No Big Goodbye. Criminal Minds said goodbye to Thomas Gibson, its star who has been with the show since the beginning 12 years ago, by... not acknowledging his exit. Gibson's last episode of Criminal Minds aired on CBS on Wednesday, Oct. 5 and there wasn't much fanfare. "Sick Day," the second episode of season 12, featured A.J. Cook's JJ predominately as she recounted the harrowing events of a case to her husband (Bill Stewart). Meanwhile, Gibson's Aaron Hotchner and the rest of the Criminal Minds characters discussed the case and its impact on JJ. No big exit story for the character. The episode description for next week's episode, titled "Taboo," doesn't mention Gibson or his character: "The BAU welcomes back Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) as they are called upon to investigate the disappearance of three women."Sherilyn Fenn will guest star as Gloria Barker. Gibson was fired from Criminal Minds over the summer after an on-set altercation with a crewmember. According to Gibson, the cast was shooting a late night scene for the second episode and told writer-producer Virgil Williams that a line contradicted an earlier one. Gibson told People that Williams insisted the line be kept in, that it was necessary. After their conversation, Gibson said he told his fellow stars about the conversation when Williams entered the room they were in. "He came into that room and started coming towards me. As he brushed past me, my foot came up and tapped him on the leg," Gibson said. "If I hadn't moved, he would have run into me. We had some choice words, for which I apologized the next day, and that was it. It was over. We shot the scene, I went home-and I never got to go back." Gibson was suspended and then dismissed following the altercation. "Thomas Gibson has been dismissed from Criminal Minds," ABC Studios and CBS Studios, the production companies behind Criminal Minds, said in a statement when Gibson was fired. "Creative details for how the character's exit will be addressed in the show will be announced at a later date." In the wake of his termination, CBS upped Paget Brewster from recurring cast member to series regular and added Damon Gupton to the cast. Before the start of season 12, CBS upped Aisha Tyler to series regular and Adam Rodriguez joined the cast. "It seems like they're trying to erase me from the show. That hurts. But I'm using this time to be with my kids, and I look forward to what's next," Gibson told People. "Maybe I'll do a comedy, or a play, or direct, or produce." Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays, 9 p.m. on CBS. (Eonline)
American Horror Story: Roanoke: You Get a Human Sacrifice, and You Get a Human Sacrifice! The mystery of the lost colony of Roanoke has been solved-ish! According to American Horror Story, after the colony relocated in order to find food, they ended up on Roanoke Island, on the same land where the farmhouse now stands. Everything was great, but only because of the human sacrifices the Butcher (Kathy Bates) was committing in order to keep everyone happy and fed, as she prayed to her god, Lady Gaga. One such human sacrifice included a little girl named Priscilla, AKA Flora's friend. The Butcher's son (Wes Bentley) tried to bring up the fact that human sacrifices are rude, so with Lady Gaga's encouragement, the Butcher decided to human sacrifice everybody, so they could all be servants to the blood moon for eternity or something. But then the human sacrifices had to continue, so that's what happened to everyone else who ever lived in the house, during the same six day lunar cycle in October every year, and now they're all just dead and hanging out around the house, occasionally stealing little girls. All of this was explained thanks to both Dr. Elias Cunningham (Denis O'Hare) and Cricket (Leslie Jordan), who both showed up just in time to help Matt (Cuba Gooding Jr.) and Shelby (Sarah Paulson) with their predicament before meeting their untimely deaths. Elias arrived to chase away the Pig Man, and then explained that he was the official guardian of the house. Matt and Shelby were only able to buy it because he could no longer pay the taxes, but he was still around, looking after it. Unfortunately, that didn't last long. After he and Matt and Shelby found Flora hanging out with all the human sacrifices, the Roanoke colonists showed up and filled his chest with arrows, meaning no one's getting any more help from Dr. Elias. Then, Cricket showed back up and offered his services, which mostly included finishing the story of the colony and how it came to be. He said he had a spell that could put the colonists down for good, but he just had to go get some stuff. So he grabbed an uber, propositioned the Uber driver, and then had to run off when he spotted Flora. Unfortunately, that was the end of him. He got Flora back to Matt and Shelby, but got himself disemboweled in the process. While waiting for Cricket, Matt was drawn outside by a light in the cellar, and found crazy ghost witch Lady Gaga. He couldn't resist her charms (because who can?) and found himself having sex with her again, while learning about where she came from. We then learned that ghost witch Lady Gaga had been an English descendant of the druids and the Roman conquerors, and had stowed away on a ship on which most of the sailors died on the way to the new world. The sailors all thought it was her fault for being a woman aboard their ship, so they were going to burn her alive. She killed them instead, and the deaths got blamed on the natives. So Matt finished having sex with the ghost witch to find the colonists with Flora outside. Priscilla allowed Shelby and Matt to grab Flora, who was fine, but was much more concerned about Cricket. That was when he was graphically disemboweled right before our eyes, and it was just so much fun. So to recap: Lee is still in jail. Cricket is dead. Dr. Elias is dead. The pig man will be back. The Butcher killed all the colonists with evil fruit, but they still have to sacrifice whoever dares to live in that house every October. They want Matt and Shelby to leave, but Matt and Shelby are still stupid. Lady Gaga is a powerful old witch who just wants to have sex with Matt, and we still have yet to figure out how Evan Peters fits into all of this. Did we get it all? Who do you think Evan Peters is going to end up playing? American Horror Story: Roanoke airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX. (Eonline)
Arrow Premiere: Team Arrow's Getting a Makeover & Someone's Got a New Boyfriend. Soooo Oliver as mayor might not have been the best idea after all. Turns out bad guys have a tendency to kidnap the mayor in an effort to draw out the Green Arrow, so it's a sticky situation when the mayor and the Green Arrow are one in the same. That's what happened during Wednesday night's season five premiere, when Oliver was attacked during a ceremony meant to honor Laurel with a new statue. Some evil dude named Church wanted to take the Arrow down, and had no clue that he already had him. At one point, Mayor Ollie was zip tied to a chair and was being tortured by a cop. Oliver quickly got out of his zip ties and had an epic chair fight with his attacker, before killing him, in order to protect his secret. The scene felt delightfully old school Arrow, but there was so much more to come. With some encouragement from everyone, including Lance (who was not in good shape after his daughter's death) and the dead Laurel, Oliver finally begrudgingly agreed to work with a few people, even if he didn't want to call them a team. When his small group of cops ended up doing a pretty good job rescuing the other hostages from Church, Mayor Queen officially designated them the new anti-crime unit, meant to take down crime in and out of the police department. Unfortunately, that anti-crime unit might not be long for this world. One of the cops was attacked and killed on his way home by a new guy with a bow, an arrow, and a very frightening mask. Meanwhile, Church was organizing crime organizations in an effort to unite them under one evil dude (himself), which is always bad news. During all of this, we finally learned what Oliver had promised Laurel on her death bed, and we're not sure how we feel about it. She asked him to make sure she wasn't the last Canary, so that her legacy could live on. But...do we want another Canary?? In other news we're equally conflicted about, Felicity's got a new boyfriend! She arrived home after a long day of crime fighting and got a back rub from one of the detectives investigating the deaths of all the city crime bosses thanks to Church. (Side note: Why does this city have so many crime bosses??) We hope this new boyfriend is good news for Felicity, but something tells us this isn't going to add anything fun or pleasant to the Oliver/Felicity situation. And finally, those pesky flashbacks! Oliver's in Russia, which means we're finally going to get to find out how and why he got so embedded in the Russian mob. So far, we've learned that he made a promise to kill someone scary, then set about trying to fulfill that promise with help from his old friend Anatoly. We also learned that Oliver carried around a book filled with the names of various Star City criminals (many of whom have now been killed by Church), courtesy of his dad, and was "waiting to use it." What did you think of the night's premiere? Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on the CW. (Eonline)
How Adam Levine Helped Candace Cameron Bure's Daughter Natasha With The Voice Nerves. When Natasha Bure auditioned for The Voice, she was so nervous that she shed a few tears before hitting the stage. And when Adam Levine -- her eventual coach -- turned around, she was so shocked that she faltered in her performance. "I wasn't expecting him to turn as quick as he did," the 18-year-old singer tells E! News' Erin Lim. "I thought if anyone was going to turn, they were going to turn more toward the end of the song to really listen." Bure, who is the daughter of Fuller House star and The View host Candace Cameron Bure, says that's where her performance veered a little off course. "It made me more nervous to have him watching me, because I was not expecting him to," Bure confesses. "So my song kind of ended up going all over the place and I think had my nerves not been so crazy the rest of the song might have been better." But there's good news -- she and Levine have tackled her nerves head-on. "That's something that we've definitely worked on... my nerves and not being so anxious about being out there and what people think," Bure says. "He gave everyone on the team just tips about staying in the zone and staying true to who you are and channeling the emotion in every song. He's a great coach." Bure joined Adam's team and will move on to the Battle Rounds, which begin on Monday and see two members of each team going head-to-head on the same song in the hopes of making it to the Knockout stage. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)
While Amazon's Jeff Bezos topped Vanity Fair's new "New Establishment List" -- which also included players from Preet Bharara to Steven Cohen -- out Wednesday, insiders were tittering about some on the mag's attendant "It's Lonely at the Bottom" list of 2016 underachievers. While new "Good Morning America" host Michael Strahan managed to make the power list at No. 96 -- Disney/ABC Television Group boss Ben Sherwood made the "bottom" sidebar for his handling of Strahan's disastrous departure from fellow ABC show "Live." "The former television wunderkind .?.?. was once considered a successor to Bob Iger," VF says of Sherwood. "But when ABC decided to promote [Strahan] to a role on ['GMA'] without telling his on-air buddy, Kelly Ripa, blame fell on Sherwood. The event became a rallying cry for women and left some wondering whether Sherwood could manage talent at the highest levels." Back at the top, Iger, the Disney CEO (who sources tell us was none too happy with Sherwood), is at No. 4 behind Bezos, Evan Spiegel and Mark Zuckerberg. (Page Six)
'The Mentalist' to Get Russian Remake. The series will premiere on Russia's Channel One and TV-3 in 2017. CBS hit series The Mentalist, produced by Warner Bros. Television and Primrose Hill Productions, is getting an adaptation for Russia and Ukraine, production company Star Media, which operates in both countries, unveiled Thursday. The 16-part series will be directed by Alexei Muradov and star Yehezkel Lazarov and Anastasiya Mikulchina. In Russia, the series will air on Channel One and TV-3 and is tentatively scheduled to launch in late 2017. These TV networks are not available in Ukraine, and the Ukrainian network that will air the Russian-language adaptation is expected to be announced later. "We are keeping in mind fans of the original Mentalist," producer Vlad Ryashin was quoted as saying by trade journal Booker's Bulletin. "However, we're making a project for the broadest audience possible." According to Ryashin, changes will be made to the Russian-language version, so that it is "in line with the mentality and expectations of our viewers." The original series aired in Russia on TV-3 and is among the best-known and most popular foreign TV series. Shooting is to take place in Russia and Ukraine's port city of Odessa, making the project a rare Russian/Ukrainian collaboration since the relations between the two countries have soured over Russia's annexation of Crimea and support for rebels in East Ukraine. A number of Ukrainian movies and television series are officially banned in Ukraine. The Mentalist aired on CBS for seven seasons from 2008 to 2015. (Hollywood Reporter)
BBC Orders Comedy 'Motherland' Co-Written by Sharon Horgan. "I am thrilled and relieved to have finally found a good use for my 13 years of mothering," says the 'Catastrophe' star, who is also behind HBO series 'Divorce' with Sarah Jessica Parker. The BBC has ordered a full season of comedy Motherland, written by Catastrophe star and writer Sharon Horgan, who is also behind HBO series Divorce starring Sarah Jessica Parker, along with Graham Linehan, Helen Linehan and Holly Walsh. The six-part half-hour series order for BBC Two comes after strong ratings for a half-hour pilot that starred Anna Maxwell Martin, Diane Morgan and Lucy Punch. Critics lauded the, at times painful-to-watch, realistic portrayal of the trials of motherhood. "Motherland is a show all about navigating the trials and traumas of motherhood, looking at the competitive and unromantic sides of parenting - not the cute and acceptable public face of motherhood," the BBC said. Said Patrick Holland, channel editor for BBC Two: "How wonderful that Motherland is coming to BBC Two as a series. The pilot found a unique, confident voice that made for truly memorable comedy. It is savagely accurate writing, brilliantly brought to life." "I am thrilled and relieved to have finally found a good use for my 13 years of mothering," said Horgan. "Apologies in advance to the brave women and men of the school run." Graham Linehan added: "I'm delighted to be working with such a gifted team. This is a world that seems to be brimming with comic possibilities and yet somehow under-explored, and I can't think of better people, behind the cameras and in front of them, to be doing it with." English-born Irish actress, writer, director and producer Horgan spoke at this summer's Edinburgh Television Festival. "It's the same. It's just as hard," she said when asked if having a critical hit like Catastrophe, which airs on Channel 4 in Britain, while Amazon has it for the U.S., has made it easier to sell show ideas. "People are nicer to me. I get more meetings." (Hollywood Reporter)
Netflix Orders Six More Kids Shows Including New Lego Cartoon, Avi Arad's 'Super Monsters'. Saban Brands' 'Kibaoh Klashers' and Slap Happy Cartoons' 'The Hollow' also get series orders. Netflix has ordered another Lego animated series and is back in business with Marvel Studios founder Avi Arad. The streaming giant, unveiling in all six original kids series, ordered eight episodes of Lego Elves, The Lego Group, to debut in 2017 with hero character Emily Jones returning to Elvendale with her little sister, Sophie. Netflix already has Lego Bionicle: The Journey to One and Lego Friends: The Power of Friendship in its kids lineup. The streamer is also reteaming with Arad's 41 Entertainment shingle on Super Monsters, about six preschoolers with super powers. Netflix earlier partnered with Arad on Kong: King of the Apes and the upcoming Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan and Jane. Saban Brands also received two series orders from Netflix: Kibaoh Klashers, to debut next year, and Treehouse Detectives, co-produced by Saban Brands and Sunwoo Animation, and set for a 2018 launch. Also headed to Netflix is Slap Happy Cartoons' The Hollow, an animated-action series about three teens in a maze of bizarre towns and odd time portals, to debut in 2018; and ITV Studio's Robozuna, to launch worldwide in early 2018, and then afterward in the U.K. on CiTV. The mix of new animated and live-action series aims to broaden the streaming service's existing selection of kids and family entertainment shows. "At Netflix, we celebrate creativity and love sharing stories that expose kids to new and inspiring worlds," Andy Yeatman, director of global kids content for Netflix, said Thursday in a statement. When news hit that Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel were reuniting for Netflix's four-episode Gilmore Girls revival, fans immediately worried that the new episodes wouldn't live up to the original WB/CW series. Apparently, they weren't alone. Graham herself admitted to PEOPLE Now that she was scared while attending Wednesday's Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life. "I'm nervous because the expectation is so high," she confessed. "But my expectation of myself was very high doing them, too, and I feel like we did what we wanted to do. I just hope fans feel that!" The 49-year-old actress also took time to thank all the Gilmore Girls fans who flocked to Luke's pop-up coffee shops on Tuesday. "Just [seeing] people standing in line, meeting friends and skipping work -- that sense of community and that happy kind of feeling the show seems to give its hardcore fans -- I'm just really proud of that," she said. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life debuts Nov. 25 on Netflix. (People)
The new Britney Spears biopic for Lifetime is shooting in Vancouver, and fans have already noticed they screwed up one major scene -- the umbrella meltdown. It was a pivotal moment during that period leading up to Britney's mental breakdown, and many people remember it vividly. In real life, she hopped out of a silver sedan and swung wildly at a paparazzo at a gas station, but the movie's clearly taking some creative license. You can see in the video, movie Brit is surrounded by dozens of photogs on a busy street, and hops into a convertible. May seem minor, but the biopic doesn't have the blessing of Spears' camp ... so there's already controversy surrounding the project. At least they got the shaved head thing right. (TMZ)
Fox News hosts Megyn Kelly and Sean Hannity may have back-to-back shows on the network, but their opinions about Donald Trump differ greatly. Now the conflict over their political views has reached an all-time high. The disagreement turned public on Wednesday evening's edition of The Kelly File when Kelly pointed out the Republican nominee's tendency to stick with pro-Trump interviewers and avoiding "unsafe spaces." Hannity fired back by retweeting an article quoting Kelly's comments. With it, he wrote, "u should be mad at @HillaryClinton Clearly you support her. And @realDonaldTrump did talk to u." Kelly had accused both presidential candidates of avoiding tough interviews earlier in the evening. "Donald Trump, with all due respect to my friend at 10 o'clock, will go on Hannity, and pretty much only Hannity, and will not venture out to the unsafe spaces these days, which doesn't exactly extend the tent." Kelly also criticized the Democratic candidate for doing interviews with entertainment outlets, noting that Clinton makes sure "she is not in a place where she feels uncomfortable or anything unexpected could come at her, which is why she sat for a half an hour with Mary J. Blige, the singer, which is why she did Entertainment Tonight this evening." Kelly seemed to make the first dig at her colleague last week after the first presidential debate when she remarked, "We've got Trump speaking to our own Sean Hannity. We'll see whether he speaks to the journalists in the room after that interview." The remark was highlighted by Samantha Bee on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee after the debate. Kelly has not yet responded to Hannity's tweet. A Twitter user responded to Hannity's post by saying he should "stand by his colleagues." Hannity shot back by writing, "Sure. When they stand by me." While Hannity is an open Trump supporter, Kelly and the GOP nominee have had a less cordial relationship. After Kelly called Trump out on his controversial commentary on women, the business mogul spent months mocking her on social media. In April, Kelly requested a meeting with Trump to clear the air. "I just wanted to stop," Kelly told PEOPLE earlier this year. "You'd get past an incident and then it would start again. It was really shocking." And the meeting seems to have worked. "I have great respect for the fact that Megyn was willing to call me. Few people would have been able to do that," Trump said. "She has natural showbiz ability with unlimited potential. Regarding the interview I know people will enjoy it." (People)
Ashton Kutcher Reveals the Sex of Baby No. 2.
Paris Jackson Returns to Neverland Ranch: "So Good to Be Home." Paris Jackson went home. Paris also shared a video of her feeding a goat and the aforementioned alpaca and wrote, "my new friends, Rickie, Survivor, and Kyle :)." At the end of the summer, both Paris and Prince took to Instagram to pay tribute to their father on what would have been his 58th birthday. Both shared a sonnet about the King of Pop, and added a message of their own. "Happy birthday to the Man who was more than a legend. I love you," Prince wrote. Prince, Paris and Blanket have maintained a deep connection to their father in the years following this death. Paris and Prince have both gotten tattoo tributes to the "Thriller" crooner, and all three children remain in close contact with Michael's mother, Katherine Jackson, and other relatives. (Eonline)
Kristen Stewart and St.
THE OTHER STUFF . . .
Kim Kardashian Thinks ''It's Crazy'' That People Are Questioning Her Paris Robbery. It's no surprise that Kim Kardashian is shaken up after her terrifying night in Paris, but along with trying to deal with what happened, the E! star is now also facing criticism from some skeptics that the entire robbery was a publicity stunt. We're told Kim is stunned people would even contemplate that she was behind what happened. "It's crazy to her that people, even for a second, think she is fabricating this story," a source close to the star tells E! News, adding that right now, "She feels like no one understands her and what she been through." "Kim is surrounded by her friends and family now. She is really upset and is going to speak to a therapist in deeper lengths about this," the insider says. As for her hubby Kanye West, who left mid-New York concert when he became aware of what happened, we're told he's been staying by Kim's side. And he's already working toward replacing that gigantic diamond that was taken from her. "Kanye have been so supportive to Kim and is being a really great husband through all of this. Kim is extremely sensitive and Kanye is just letting her do her and heal," the source explains. "He is pissed, though, and really wants to make these people pay for what they put his wife through. He plans on getting her new jewelry by Lorraine [Schwartz] and this diamond might just be bigger." Kim's not against getting another ring, but she'll definitely rethink flaunting her jewels on social media. "She wants another ring eventually and she will just be very careful on how she displays it going forward," the insider adds. "Her jewelry is part of her and she is not blaming herself for wearing the diamonds she's been given. She knows that her image is what makes Kim, Kim. She just has to be very careful going forward. She will be getting 24/7 security when she travels going forward." The mother of two has kept a deeply private profile since returning to the United States after being gagged, bound and held at gunpoint by robbers in France. "This is something that has the potential to screw anyone up for a very long time," the insider said. "It was incredibly frightening and it's going to take a while to get over it." (Eonline)
Kim Kardashian has found God -- at a discount -- because after the robbery wealth will no longer be the driver of her brand. A number of people have been critical of Kim for posing with her $4.5 million diamond ring in the apartment shortly before the hit. We're told Kim is taking a month off work and when she returns she's pulling back in a big way on social media. She won't be displaying her personal wealth ... and she'll even be less ostentatious with the promotion of her fashion line. Kim has been rocked to her core after being tied up with a gun to her head. She's saying privately ... "Material things mean nothing. It's not all about the money," adding, "It's not worth it." (TMZ)
Jay Z proudly flaunted his former occupation on his head Wednesday while walking around Manhattan. Of course, he's heard all the criticism about the fact he used to sling drugs back in Brooklyn's Marcy Projects -- so, he's obviously not sweating his haters. Can't say Jay forgets where he came from, but you gotta acknowledge how far he's come. His smile here screams ... this phone call just made me a few mil! (TMZ)
(US Weekly)
Chelsea Handler is sharing the beauty secret that's worked wonders for her. The comedian and talk show showed off the results of her recent treatment to her nearly 3 million Instagram followers on Wednesday, and her results were quite remarkable. "Before and after.#profractional laser," Handler, 41, captioned a side by side comparison photo of her pre-treatment and post-treatment outcomes. "It's f -- ing awesome and no one is paying me to tell you about it. Bam!" ProFractional lasers "create smoother, clearer skin that is resurfaced from the inside out, and stimulate the growth of new collagen," according to InStyle. The treatment-most commonly used to treat scars, wrinkles, acne scars and sun damage-improves skin tone, smoothes out fine lines, and evens out skin discoloration by treating tiny sections of the skin at a time. Based on 87 RealSelf.com reviews from across the country, the average price for one treatment is $1,125. (People)
Fans of Thomas Rhett know you don't have to scroll far down his Instagram feed to see countless adorable photos of him and his wife Lauren Akins, the undeniable muse behind his newest single "Star of the Show." And the country singer is a proud hubby too -- he often tweets about the work Akins does with the 147 Million Orphans organization, encouraging fans to click over to her page for details of Akins' interactions with young children on various mission trips to in Uganda, Haiti and Honduras.
She said being married to another actor can be difficult "on some level .?.?. Sometimes it's harder because people work different schedules, but that's just logistics." (US Weekly)
Kim Kardashian is pulling out even more big guns for her new security detail ... as if Pascal Duvier wasn't enough mountain of a man. Kim and Kanye West were seen in public with Saint and North in NYC Thursday morning ... the first time they've been out since the robbery. They were flanked by new men in black ... for increased protection. Pascal's still in the mix. As we reported ... Kim doesn't blame him for what happened -- but it's obvious she's taking a seriously new approach to keeping herself and her family safe. (TMZ)

The film is a remake of the 1971 classic Clint Eastwood film, which centered on a wounded Union soldier who is taken into a Southern girls' academy.

(Hollywood Reporter)
