Tyler Farr Marries Longtime Girlfriend Hannah Freeman. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Farr! E! News has learned that country singer Tyler Farr has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Hannah Freeman, this evening. The newlyweds exchanged their vows in front of close friends and family during an outdoor ceremony near Nashville, People reports. Tyler and Hannah were joined by well over 200 guests at the Nolensville, Tenn. nuptials, including several famous faces in the country music scene like Jason Aldean, Maddie & Tae, Lee Brice and Colt Ford. Farr and Freeman began dating almost four years ago and the groom joked earlier this year to Taste of Country that it was bound to be "quite the redneck wedding." Aldean served as Farr's best man this evening and it seems as though the two best friends have only gotten closer over the past few years. In fact, Farr even walked Aldean's daughter down the aisle during his wedding to Brittany Kerr in March of 2015. Congratulations to the new husband and wife on their very special day. (Eonline)
Drake and Rihanna Split Up Again, Rapper Spotted Out With India Love. Not only has summer sixteen come to an end, but it appears Drake and Rihanna's summer of love has concluded, too. The pair had been going so strong over the last few months, making it official in July and hanging out nonstop ever since. They partied together, performed together and even got matching tattoos together. And let's not forget the most important moment of all: when Drizzy publicly confessed his love for Rih at the 2016 MTV VMAs. But all of that is just a memory now as the pair seems to have gone their separate ways. So what exactly happened? An insider tells E! News, "Rihanna and Drake are seeing other people at the moment. They are not exclusive anymore. They still love each other, but their schedules have gotten in the way." However, that doesn't necessarily mean it's done for good. "Anything can change between them though, for better or worse," the source adds. "They are still in each other's lives." For now, Drake has seemingly found a distraction in someone else: India Love. A second source revealed, "Drake and India Love have been hooking up for at least a few weeks." Interestingly enough, India's ex-boyfriend, Cliff Dixon, was rumored to have cheated on her with Rihanna. The insider tells us, "Drake could be hooking up with India Love now to piss off Rihanna, which has clearly worked." Indeed it has. Over the weekend, Rihanna did something she rarely does, taking to Instagram to address her private life and clap back at her exes. She posted a photo that read, "None of my exes are married or in happy relationships so it's safe to say that I wasn't da problem lol," adding a trophy as the caption. Meanwhile, she spent the weekend in Barbados with her family, sharing photos and videos of their time together, including her adorable niece, Majesty. Drake on the other hand was spotted watching the Toronto Blue Jays baseball game in a suite with India Love. An onlooker told us they were kissing and looking "very coupley." Of course this is far from the first time the pair have split up. They've been on-again, off-again since first sparking romance rumors after a steamy makeout sesh in a bowling alley in 2009. Since then, they've consistently toyed with our emotions, hanging out for weeks and even months at a time before going their separate ways and seeing other people. Still, we simply can't forget that Drake admitted to being in love with Rihanna since the first time they met...and we still believe love can conquer anything. (Eonline)
Justin Timberlake Is "Humbled" by Fatherhood: "It Changes Everything." Justin Timberlake can't stop the feelings life is throwing his way. With a brand new concert film Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids slated for debut on Netflix Wednesday, a growing baby boy at home and an ongoing marriage to Jessica Biel, the 35-year-old crooner is a long way from his "Bye, Bye, Bye" boy band days. While he's spent a majority of his life in the spotlight, the Grammy winner still pauses regularly to breathe it all in. "Every day," he told Today's Willie Geist. "While it's happening -- now more so than ever while it's actually happening...the moment and all of this imperfection is the best part. That's going to be the part you remember the most." As a first-time dad, Timberlake experiences plenty of imperfection while figuring out how to raise 1-year-old son Silas. "It changes everything," he said. "You literally just wake up... you look in the mirror and go, 'I have no idea what I'm doing.'" Little Silas might have even had an effect on Justin's newest tune. "I would have never written a song like 'Can't Stop the Feeling,'" he revealed of his current chart-topper. "I don't know that it was directly inspired to be something that my son could listen to of mine because there's a lot of music he can't listen to of mine -- at least not yet." Of course, everything needs to get the green light from mom, too. After four years of marriage to his leading lady, Timberlake is increasingly appreciative of his life partner. "It's humbling," he said of Biel and their son together. "You watch her realize she has a gear she didn't have and then you go, 'Woah.'" (Eonline)
Jana Kramer Opens Up About Her Dancing With the Stars "Breakthrough": How She Was Able to Just Let Go. The waterworks were flowing freely on Dancing With the Stars for "Most Memorable Year" night. The emotions were especially high for Jana Kramer. The actress and country music star dedicated her dance to daughter Jolie, whom she had in 2016. "I feel like I was able to have a breakthrough... in dancing because I was able to express my emotions through dance," Kramer told E! News' Sibley Scoles. "And I was able to breathe through the movements and to really just let it all be out there. I think it was really important." She credited pro partner Gleb Savchenko and his choreography to Martina McBride's "In My Daughter's Eyes" for letting her really feel everything and "just really let go," she said. They received a 26 out of 30, including two nines from judges. "It's really important to trust your partner," Jana said of their big dance. "There's times when we butt heads, but he's the best and I need to continue to trust him... he's been an amazing friend through everything." During the show, Kramer opened up about having her daughter and the past abuse in her life. "This week, it's most memorable year, and mine is 2016, because I had my baby girl. I feel like I'm the strongest I've been my entire life. She's given me the strength I didn't know I would have," Kramer said in the package before she took the stage. "And I've been in bad situations where I've let people take that from me. Ten years ago, I was in an abusive relationship. It was the worst time of my life. He went to jail for attempted murder on me. It's been a very heavy secret to hold for so many years. The situation ten years ago broke me. It took having Jolie to piece together every single broken part of me." (Eonline)
Chris Pratt Shares Several Touching Messages After His Visit to the Seattle Children's Hospital. Chris Pratt is pulling at our heartstrings once again. No, it's not his good looks or endearing sense of humor. Rather, this time he's got us swooning over his huge heart. The 37-year-old actor paid a visit to the Seattle Children's Hospital on Monday, sharing several photos with touching messages about the children he met there. For example, Pratt shared the picture above with Madisen who is currently battling cancer. "What an awesome kid with such a beautiful smile," he captioned the photo. "She's a lover of art and fashion and she's going places. Thank you @seattlechildrens for the opportunity to come by and brighten some days. My heart is full." He then added a line from Proverbs 3:27, "Don't withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it." But Madisen wasn't the only lucky one to get a visit from Pratt. Several other children also hung out with the actor, including a young boy named Rowan. "Rowan was Groot for Halloween and his brother was Rocket," Pratt captioned this post. "What an awesome kid. Great parents and from a great family. You're in my prayers tonight little man. Stay #strong @seattlechildrens." Finally, the Jurassic World star made one more extra-special stop at the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit. The NICU holds a big place in his heart as his 4-year-old son, Jack, was born premature. "Ever since Jack's premature birth, we have a special affinity for the NICU (neo-natal intensive care unit)," he captioned the last picture from his visit. "Today I spent a little time with Coen and Zion, twins who were born too early only a pound and a half each." He continued, "Thank you to the doctors and nurses at @seattlechildrens The boys are doing fine. Although they're both missing their big sis." The hospital shared the same photo, sharing their appreciation and writing, "Coen and Zion got the most magnificent surprise. @prattprattpratt took a break from saving the west from the impossible to pay a visit to his littlest fans." Miley Cyrus Talks Coming Out as Pansexual: "I Didn't Understand My Own Gender and My Own Sexuality." Miley Cyrus is an open book. The Voice coach has been named one of Variety's Power of Women cover stars, and in her wide-ranging interview Miley discusses her dedication to the LGBTQ community and her sexuality. Now a passionate activist, Miley tells the magazine that her identity struggles led her to become such a staple in the community. "My whole life, I didn't understand my own gender and my own sexuality. I always hated the word 'bisexual,' because that's even putting me in a box. I don't ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl," she tells Variety. "Also, my nipple pasties and s--t never felt sexualized to me. My eyes started opening in the fifth or sixth grade. My first relationship in my life was with a chick. I grew up in a very religious Southern family." Despite her confusion and religious upbringing, Miley knew that she would figure it all out. "The universe has always given me the power to know I'll be OK," she adds. "Even at that time, when my parents didn't understand, I just felt that one day they are going to understand." Now engaged to Liam Hemsworth, Miley explains she didn't really understand her identity until she met other people who thought the way she did. "I went to the LGBTQ center here in L.A., and I started hearing these stories. I saw one human in particular who didn't identify as male or female. Looking at them, they were both: beautiful and sexy and tough but vulnerable and feminine but masculine. And I related to that person more than I related to anyone in my life," Miley explains. "Even though I may seem very different, people may not see me as neutral as I feel. But I feel very neutral. I think that was the first gender-neutral person I'd ever met. Once I understood my gender more, which was unassigned, then I understood my sexuality more. I was like, 'Oh -- that's why I don't feel straight and I don't feel gay. It's because I'm not.'" After struggling to find her voice for so long, Miley admits she feels stronger now than ever because she has a mission. "My empowerment comes from feeling like I have a purpose now. On my tombstone, I didn't want the 'Wrecking Ball' lyrics. I wanted it to be something greater. I'm the only f--king Disney star who would say I'm pro lesbian and gay, before it was OK to say that," she says. It's safe to say that Miley is anything but judgmental. The star is open to anything and anyone, even if there's controversy surrounding a figure with whom she works. Having worked with Woody Allen for Amazon's Crisis in Six Scenes, Miley says she judges a person by what she personally experiences. "I live a similar life to Woody -- I live a public life. Until I know someone and I know their story, I never really judge anyone. That's kind of how I went into it," she explains to Variety. "From the way I saw him with his family, I never saw him be anything but an incredible person and a really great dad. People might slam me for saying that. I'm sure it was a hard time for that family. My family has been through hard things, and I think everyone's suffering is different." (Eonline)
Gabrielle Union Worries About Violence Against Her Young Stepsons: "Until They Walk Through the Door, I'm Terrified." In a time of violent racial divide in America, Gabrielle Union is just like any other concerned stepmother trying to keep her boys safe. Having married basketball star Dwyane Wade in 2014, the 42-year-old actress earned a new role as stepmother to the athlete's three sons, Zaire, 14, Zion, 9, and Xavier, 2. However, as she said in the November issue of Essence, Union finds herself constantly worrying about them when they're not with her. "Teens get teen-y. It's harder. I never understood that. 'You won't sleep.' I always associated that phrase with babies. Crying, teething babies. No. Until they walk through the door, I'm terrified," she said. "Sometimes I just want to stay off my timeline, because it makes those waits until they walk through the door a thousand times worse. Just envisioning them as a hashtag... " She has spoken publicly about raising growing young men, particularly when she published an emotional op-ed in the Los Angeles Times about her co-star and director Nate Parker's 1999 rape accusations, for which he was ultimately acquitted, and ongoing controversy surrounding his film, Birth of a Nation. "As a black woman raising brilliant, handsome, talented young black men, I am cognizant of my responsibility to them and their future," she wrote in the editorial. "We are making an effort to teach our sons about affirmative consent. We explain that the onus is on them to explicitly ask if their partner consents. And we tell them that a shrug or a smile or a sigh won't suffice. They have to hear 'yes.'" While they raise their sons privately, Union continues to speak publicly in support of fellow rape survivors, particularly now in light of discussion around the new film. "As a rape survivor and as an advocate, I cannot shy away from this responsibility because the conversation got difficult. I don't want to put myself above anyone's pain or triggers. Every victim or survivor, I believe you. I support you. I support you if you don't want to see the film," she said. "I absolutely understand and respect that. I can't sell the film. This movie has always been about more than one person, and for the outspoken feminist advocates and allies who risked a lot to be a part of this project -- Aja Naomi King, Aunjanue Elllis, Penelope Ann Miller -- we are okay if you have to sit this one out, and we're okay if you don't, and we understand." How Gwyneth Paltrow's Father Took Her Out of Her "A--hole" Fame Spiral. Gwyneth Paltrow has always been honest, and that's not stopping now. The Goop founder opens up to Samantha Bee for Harper's Bazaar magazine's November "Daring" issue, and in it she addresses the scrutiny she faces for her candid attitude as well as the difficulties her children, daughter Apple Martin and son Moses Martin, will face as they grow up in the spotlight. Part of raising them, Paltrow admits, includes encouraging them to take risks in their everyday life. "One hundred percent. In my case, I've borne these two kids into a particularly strange circumstance," Paltrow explains. "They are going to have to fend off a lot and protect themselves from a lot of projections and prejudice about who they are, coming from the family that they come from." But the Iron Man actress isn't too concerned about her daughter because she's already marching to the beat of her own drum. "My daughter is super ballsy. I always follow her lead. I actually don't need to encourage her to take risks," Paltrow adds. "She likes to push herself; she wants to see how far she can get. It's really inspiring to see that in a young woman." Although Paltrow is incredibly busy expanding her Goop line -- she is launching goop Label, a clothing line, soon -- the Oscar winner admits that it was her father Bruce Paltrow who set her on the path to success by setting her straight with...brutal honesty about her attitude. "I remember when I was maybe 27 years old and kind of at the height of my movie stardom -- it was around the time of the Oscar and this and that. I think I was very much believing my own hype, which how could you not?" she recalls to Bee inside the magazine. "I was sitting with my dad, feeling great about my life and everything that was happening, and he was like, 'You know, you're getting a little weird... You're kind of an a--hole.' And I was like, 'What the hell?' I was totally devastated." In hindsight, however, her dad's words would change everything in the best way. "But it turned out to be basically the best thing that ever happened to me. It's the difference between someone who loves you more than anything in the world giving you criticism and getting it from some bitter stranger on the Internet," she adds. "What my dad said to me was the kind of criticism where I was like, 'Oh, my God, I'm on the wrong track.' I'm so grateful to him for doing that. He was such a no-nonsense guy in that sense." The Fault in Our Stars' Ansel Elgort and John Green Speak Out After Shailene Woodley's Arrest. People from all over the world watched Shailene Woodley get arrested as she was protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline earlier Monday, and now several stars are speaking out. The Fault in Our Stars' Ansel Elgort weighed in on the incident on Twitter and directed fans to read up on what the 24-year-old was protesting for. Meanwhile, author John Green wrote, "@ShaileneWoodley walks the walk, and I deeply admire her determined and passionate activism." Those weren't the only two to take to social media to defend the actress, either. In fact, several others including Mark Ruffalo and Maggie Q publicly supported her efforts. Woodley and 26 others were arrested for trespassing early Monday morning while they were engaging in a peaceful protest at the Dakota Access Pipeline. Woodley captured the entire ordeal on Facebook Live to make sure that there was a record of everything that took place. A local police officer was overheard telling her, "We can't talk right here, but you're going to be placed under arrest for criminal trespassing." Woodley then says on camera, "Alright, I'm being arrested because I was trespassing like everyone. As soon as you guys asked me to leave, I left... I'm being arrested. I was down there with everybody else. I don't know what's going on? As soon as they came, I left... It's because I'm well-known. It's because I have 40,000 people watching." She added, "So everybody knows, we were going to our vehicle which they had all surrounding and waiting for me with giant guns and a giant truck behind them just so they could arrest me. I hope you're watching mainstream media." (Eonline)
Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Kim Kardashian's Robbery: "She's Not Doing That Well." Khloe Kardashian is opening up about Kim Kardashian's robbery. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday and gives an update on how Kim is doing in the aftermath of her scary Paris Fashion Week experience. "I mean, she's not doing that well. I mean, it's incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we'll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys' love and support and it will take time," Khloe says. "You know it was horrible what happened to her." Host Ellen DeGeneres asks if the ordeal would lead the Kardashian family to tone down what they post on social media -- a major staple in their lives. "Well, I think it's just a wakeup call to make a lot of life adjustments. This is a really serious matter for Kim I think that's really personal as to when that emotional terror you could move on from that," Khloe explains. "I think for us it's all a wakeup call for all of us, but definitely just to make sure our sister's OK." Khloe also says that the family's main focus is to "make sure we're as protected as well as possible," but fortunately they have each other to lean on during this difficult time. "Like I said, we're a family we'll do this together. I think it's important to make those adjustments and to pull back a little bit, I think is always smart," Khloe adds. Since returning to Los Angeles, Kim has been keeping a low profile. She hasn't been using Snapchat, Instagram or Twitter, nor has she posted on her app. She is, however, keeping in touch with those closest to her. "[Kim] says she doing OK, but that the whole thing really freaked her out. She's just relieved that Kanye and the kids are OK," a source previously told E! News. "That's what she's concerned about -- their safety." Kevin Hart, who also appears as a guest on today's show, weighs in and says he admires how tight-knit the Kardashians are as a family. "I think that's a dope thing about the Kardashian family, is that you do stick together." The Jumanji actor also clues Ellen into the intricate webs of the Kardashian family relationships, such as how Rob Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Blac Chyna are all intertwined, so watch the video to see Ellen's hilarious reaction, including when Khloe discusses the now-famous baby shower for Rob. Billy Bush has come under fire and been suspended from his job at the Today show for a leaked 2005 conversation with Donald Trump in which sexual comments were made about Nancy O'Dell and Arianne Zucker, but amid the backlash, the NBC co-host has received some big-name support. In the days after Bush apologized for his comments made in the 11-year-old video, Jamie Lee Curtis and Piers Morgan were among the members of Hollywood who defended the 44-year-old host. Kate Walsh appeared on Good Day D.C. Monday during which she said, "I think that Billy has a great opportunity to correct this. I think it's very odd that we have someone who's said what Donald Trump has said and is still able to run for president, and that NBC has taken the action to suspend Billy Bush. I know Billy and I know that he is accountable and that he is an amazing father and husband and friend and he will step forward and discuss this." Bush's former Access Hollywood co-host Kit Hoover got emotional during Monday's episode while defending her friend: "Those tapes were a decade ago and it was seven minutes of someone's life, and all I can tell you is what I know and the person that I sat next to for the last six years, and that person for me is a totally different person," she said, adding, "The Billy that I know and a lot of people would say has the biggest heart of anybody and he is a good person." Shortly after The Washington Post published the video on Friday, Bush issued an apology that was obtained by PEOPLE: "Obviously I'm embarrassed and ashamed. It's no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago-I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I'm very sorry." (People)
Ron White is a calm, cool and collected comedian when he's onstage, but if you vandalize his tour bus in the middle of the night ... he becomes a half-naked maniac who'll chase you down with a golf club. TMZ got this photo of White apparently coming after a guy who was doing the dirty deed. Underwear? Don't care ... and we're told he pulled a gap wedge out of his golf bag, Elin Nordegren style. As we reported ... a man was arrested after he sideswiped Ron's bus with his truck. The guy was cited by cops, but he became enraged and started kicking the bus, denting it. Ron wasn't having it, and summed it all up to us like this ... "Don't f*** with me when I've been drinking." Noted. (TMZ)
Jim Carrey has been slapped with a lawsuit by the mother of his ex-girlfriend, claiming she OD'd after she realized he had given her 3 STDs and when she confronted him he dumped her. Cathriona White's mom, Brigid Sweetman, claims in a new lawsuit ... Jim did more than just infect her. The suit alleges he shamed her by calling her a "whore" and threatened her with the help of "fixers" who tried to silence her. Sweetman says in the suit her daughter learned from a doctor in 2013 she had contracted 2 types of herpes and chlamydia. Sweetman says Carrey was first dismissive and then claimed she contracted any disease she might have from someone else. The mom says when her daughter persisted, Carrey ended the relationship and said, "You have become too much drama." According to the lawsuit, the "fixers" scared her daughter into silence. The suit claims Cathriona struggled emotionally before OD'ing on Ambien, Propranolol and Percocet. The drugs were allegedly Carrey's ... the prescription filled under a pseudonym. We reached out to Carrey's people ... so far no comment. (TMZ)
Kim Kardashian's calling out a media outlet ... Tom Cruise style ... suing for published stories that accuse her of lying about the whole Paris robbery. Kim just filed a federal lawsuit against MediaTakeOut.com for 3 posts about her ordeal ... one of which alleged there was evidence Kim "staged" the robbery. In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Kim says the site used random people off social media as its sources. The site also posted a story about "French authorities" suspecting Kim had actually "let the robbers in" the apartment. The final indignity, according to the suit by her lawyers Marty Singer and Andrew Brettler, was a post about Kim's insurance claim. She says MediaTakeOut reported, "If she faked the robbery ... she just committed a FEDERAL CRIME." Kim says she immediately sicced her legal team on the site ... demanding they retract the posts and apologize, but got no response. So now, she'll see 'em in court. MediaTakeOut had no comment. (TMZ)
Kesha Files Protective Order Against Dr. Luke to Prevent Medical Records From Public Release. Kesha wants her private information to stay that way. In the midst of a longtime legal battle with music producer Dr. Luke and Sony Music over allegations of sexual assault, the singer filed for a protective order against the music mogul to ensure her "personal medical records, any diagnoses, or the names of any of her medical providers" stay confidential. According to the legal papers filed Monday and obtained by E! News, Kesha's attorney James Pearl states more than 900 pages of the star's sensitive records -- "including gynecological, psychiatric, and rehabilitation records going back more than ten years" -- have been provided to the court. While the Sony parties agreed to a protective order of confidentiality, according to Pearl's argument, Dr. Luke rejected the request and allegedly claimed he has a right to use her records with the public and media "without condition." "Her position as a world-renowned recording artist in whom there is great public interest renders any potential disclosure of those records potentially harmful to her personal and economic interests," the papers state. Kesha was initially ordered by the court to provide such records in an order of discovery in mid-September attached to her ongoing sexual assault lawsuit against Luke stemming from 2014. In the initial filing, Kesha accused the producer of sexual assault and harassment among other claims, all of which he has denied. As of August, Kesha had filed to dismiss the lawsuit in Calif. "Kesha has dismissed her California action without prejudice while she pursues her appeal and other legal claims in the New York courts," her attorney Daniel Petrocelli said in an official statement to E! News. "Earlier this year, she lost her meritless counterclaims against Dr. Luke in the New York Action. Recently, the California Court invited Dr. Luke and the other defendants to move to dismiss Kesha's claims in that action," Luke's attorney Christine Lepera said in a statement to E! News. "Kesha never should have brought her false and meritless claims against Dr. Luke in any court. Dr. Luke's defamation and other claims against Kesha are still proceeding." Meanwhile, her focus now is on preventing a leak of her paperwork and any resulting embarrassment, humiliation or "public fodder." "Ms. [Kesha Rose] Sebert therefore respectfully requests that the Court bar [Lukasz] Gottwald from publicizing her personal medical diagnoses, medical records, and medical providers or using them for any purpose other than this litigation," the papers read. "Ms. Sebert now fears that Gottwald will seek to disclose and disseminate her personal medical records in an attempt to embarrass and harass her, and she seeks the entry of a protective order precluding him from doing so." "Because Kesha made public accusations and in the case that she was allegedly harmed by Dr. Luke, the Court ordered her to produce her medical records. Now, Kesha wants to hide her records, while continuing to make self-serving, selective and misleading statements to hurt my clients publicly," Lepera told E! News in a statement. "Our position is that that the Court -- and not Kesha's lawyers -- should decide whether Kesha's medical information remains confidential given her public disclosures. We in fact offered to keep the records confidential pending the Court's decision as to them. Kesha's attorneys refused that offer, and instead filed their misleading motion for more press attacks on my clients." (Eonline)
Dr. Luke Claps Back At Kesha's Request For A Protective Order On Her Medical Records! And the legal drama between Kesha and Dr. Luke continues... As we previously reported, the Tik Tok artist asked a NYC judge on Monday for a protective order on her medical records so that they could not be made public amid her legal battle with the music producer and Sony Music. Unsurprisingly, the industry vet's legal team was quick to respond to the blonde beauty's most recent courtroom strategy. Dr. Luke's attorney Christine Lepra dished to People: "Because Kesha made public accusations and in the case that she was allegedly harmed by Dr. Luke, the Court ordered her to produce her medical records. Now, Kesha wants to hide her records, while continuing to make self-serving, selective and misleading statements to hurt my clients publicly." Oof. In case you forgot, the hitmaker has previously accused Luke of sexually, physically, and emotionally abusing her. While the 43-year-old has vehemently denied the allegations, the songstress has stood by her lawsuit -- which was originally filed in October 2014. Dr. Luke (AKA Lukasz Gottwald)'s lawyer added: "Our position is that that the Court -- and not Kesha's lawyers -- should decide whether Kesha's medical information remains confidential given her public disclosures. We in fact offered to keep the records confidential pending the Court's decision as to them. Kesha's attorneys refused that offer, and instead filed their misleading motion for more press attacks on my clients." Huh. Although the twosome have battled it out quite a bit in the press, we do feel badly if such personal information belonging to Kesha becomes public domain. Talk about an intense situation! THE OTHER STUFF . . .
He wears it well! Singer Rod Stewart scored a very coveted accessory at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday when he was knighted by Prince William. The Grammy winner, who was awarded the honor by Queen Elizabeth in a list made public on her official 90th birthday weekend in June, ditched the ceremony's traditional tailcoat and top hot for tartan trousers, a dark, military-style jacket and scarlet cuffs -- his flamboyant stage wear that has been his signature for more than 50 years in showbiz. Stewart, 71, was recognized for his music career as well as his contributions to charity. He's a regular supporter of Prince Charles's Prince's Trust -- a foundation that aids disadvantaged youth. At the ceremony, he was introduced in the Ballroom at Buckingham Palace as Sir Roderick Stewart, for services to music and to charity. Stewart took a few steps forward from the side, made a simple bow of the head and then went down on his right knee as William knighted him with a sword first to his left and then to his right shoulder. When Rod got up, 6-foot 3-inch William towered over him (he stood on a raised platform making their height difference even greater) and placed the ribboned-medal around his neck. The two had a jovial chat, with smiles from both. The father of eight -- whose greatest hits include "You Wear It Well," "Maggie May," "Forever Young" and "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" -- previously told concert-goers he had received a text from fellow knight and friend Sir Elton John when the news from the palace was announced June. "It said, 'Congratulations darling,' " Stewart revealed." 'Who would have thought a couple of old tarts from North -- London would be knighted?' "(People)
Stepping Out Solo! Kate Middleton Stuns in Blue During First Trip Without Prince William. Kate Middleton took a big step in her reign as the Duchess of Cambridge on Tuesday...she went on her first-ever solo trip! Yes, the 34-year-old royal is currently visiting the Netherlands for a one-day visit without Prince William, marking the first time she's traveled abroad for royal duties without her husband. In the first photos from the visit, Kate looked confident and beautiful while wearing a pastel blue Catherine Walker suit, which she accessorized with a pair of pearl earrings she borrowed from the Queen as well as a pair of nude pumps. She wore her hair in a low chignon that perfectly topped off the look. Kate's first order of business was to meet with King Willem Alexander for lunch at Villa Eikenhorst -- the royal residence he shares with wife, Queen Maxima, and their three daughters. The Dutch monarch greeted Kate outside his home, and she followed royal protocol by showing her respects with a curtsy. The pair then made their way inside to pose for photos. Some royal commentators believe Kate will be an asset in helping to safeguard the UK's relations with its European neighbors as the British exit from the European union continues to play out over the next several years. Meanwhile, Kate was originally supposed to take her first solo trip to Malta in 2014 while she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte. However, she was suffering from terrible morning sickness and Prince William had to take her place. The Duchess most recently returned from the family's royal tour of Canada earlier this month, which marked the first time she and Prince William traveled with both their little ones, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Kylie Jenner Poses Topless and Talks Candidly About Tyga: "We Need to Be Together at All Times." Kylie Jenner and Tyga are the real deal. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star covers the October/November issue of Complex, and in it she opens up about pretty much everything. From her lip injections to her high-profile relationship with rapper Tyga, Kylie holds nothing back -- including her poses. Kylie appears topless on the cover, but not without some hesitation. "I'm comfortable with my body, but not that comfortable," she tells the magazine after instructing everyone but Tyga to leave the room. "I'm not going to be walking around like that with a bunch of guys there." Tyga, who looked on throughout the majority of the photo shoot, is who gets the E! star through her toughest days, Kylie explains. "At the end of the day I have to live with everything I do," she says of the constant media scrutiny. "I'm just proud of myself for not going crazy. Tyga helped me with that a lot." Although the relationship has found itself under the spotlight given Kylie and Tyga's age difference (she is 19, Tyga is 26), sister Khloe Kardashian defends it because of how much fame forces a person to grow up. "You have to put things into perspective," Khloe tells Complex. "Kylie has to deal with all these responsibilities, but no one wants to treat her as an [adult] when it comes to relationships. But I love that T [Tyga] and Kylie didn't care. They just did what made them happy. They're so in love, and I think they're cute together." But it wasn't always perfect. Kylie confesses that when she and "T" first got together, they were both warned to stay away from each other. Of course, they didn't listen. "The first year we started hanging out, everyone around him told him not to be with me. I still get comments like, 'Don't be with him.' But we're not doing it for the public -- we love each other," Kylie explains. "We need to be together at all times. We never get mad at each other, we just figure things out." Their seemingly perfect harmony only came after the two took a month-long break in May, but the split didn't stick. "I just needed to see what it was like not being with him," she tells Complex, adding, "We realized that wasn't what we wanted." During that time, however, she was spotted with rapper PartyNextDoor, spurring rumors that they were an item. It turns out that they were doing nothing more than having "fun." In addition to speaking honestly about her love life, Kylie also opens up about the headline-making lip injections and why she lied for so long about getting them. "I wasn't even 17 yet," she says. "What if I came out and said, 'Oh, yeah, I got my lips done'? What are all those moms going to think about me? These kids, my fans, they're going to think I'm crazy. I didn't want to be a bad influence." "I didn't want people to think you had to get your lips done to feel good about yourself. But they thought it was crazier that I was lying about it because it was so obvious. I wish I had just been honest and upfront." Kylie even admits she might have gone a little overboard with the injections. "When you first get them done, you're like, 'Oh, it could be a little bit bigger on that side.' I'd go back and be like, 'They went down' and think they could be bigger," she recalls. "But I went too far. It was very painful." (Eonline)
Most moms probably expect their kids to follow their paths in one way or another. But for Gwyneth Paltrow, it's quite the opposite when it comes to her daughter. "My daughter is super ballsy. I always follow her lead," the actress and lifestyle businesswoman, 44, shared about 12-year-old Apple for Harper's Bazaar's November cover story. "I actually don't need to encourage her to take risks. She likes to push herself; she wants to see how far she can get." Adds Paltrow, who is also mom to 10-year-old son Moses with her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, "It's really inspiring to see that in a young woman." Even though Paltrow credits her older child with developing her own strength, the mom of two and Goop mastermind can't deny that their upbringing has played a role. In my case, I've borne these two kids into a particularly strange circumstance," says Paltrow, who has spoken in the past about the importance of keeping a family dynamic despite her conscious uncoupling from Martin. "They are going to have to fend off a lot and protect themselves from a lot of projections and prejudice about who they are, coming from the family that they come from," she continues. And considering Paltrow's personal opinions on growth, it's no wonder the Iron Man star's daughter is a powerhouse. "If you haven't taken all of life's incredible knocks and disappointments and used them to become a fully integrated, self-expressing person by the time you're 40, then what can I tell you?" she says. Ryan Lochte is headed to the chapel, and he can't wait to get married! The Olympic swimmer is on cloud nine after proposing to his Playboy model girlfriend Kayla Rae Reid, and he couldn't wait to share all the intimate details of the engagement and their wedding plans with Us Weekly. Talking backstage at Dancing With the Stars on Monday, October 10, the 32-year-old contestant, gushed about his new fiancee and revealed exactly how he was feeling in the run up to popping the question last Sunday. "I couldn't really focus, I couldn't concentrate," he told Us of trying to practice for the dance show hours before the proposal. "I'm just happy everything worked out." Lochte is used to being under pressure in the pool and now on the dance floor, but nothing could have prepared him for the nerves he felt asking for Reid's hand in marriage. "We were in a helicopter and we went down around West Hollywood and Hollywood, and then we flew over Santa Monica and the pier, and we went up the coast in the helicopter," Lochte revealed to Us. "Then they landed us on top of a mountain in Malibu, and on the mountain there was a picnic that had roses and champagne, and she was like, 'What's going on? And so we got out and that's when I got down on one knee. But I was messing up! I had practiced it so many times in my bathroom, I had my suit, my jacket on, and I was pulling the ring out, and everything was perfect. Then when it actually happened I couldn't get the ring out of my pocket and I was stumbling over all of my words! And I was just so clammy and nervous -- but then I finally got the courage to ask, 'Will you marry me?' And she said yes! And I was like, 'Yeah! My life is complete!'" The pair only began dating this past March and he confirmed to Us in May that he was in a relationship with a woman who wasn't a swimmer. But things moved quickly for the couple and after she stood by him during his controversy at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when he claimed that he'd been robbed at gunpoint, he knew she was the one. "She's stuck behind me this whole entire time when I was at my darkest point and she was my rock," Lochte revealed to Us. "That's when I knew, I'm not letting this one go!" That's why when he had the ring designed he decided size mattered. "She liked a ring on her Instagram and I saw it and I remembered it. So I wanted to get that same design, and I went to a jeweler that I know and I was like, 'You have to make me this special ring.' But the ring she liked was only like two or three carats -- and I said, 'No, I want to make it bigger, I want everyone to know that she's taken!'" As for their wedding plans? "We're not going to hurry up and get married really quick," he told Us. "We want to plan out everything, make sure it's perfect, and I want to be there for her with all the flowers and everything, all the planning, because I want to be a part of it!" "We'll probably do it in the fall of next year. I just want my family and my closest friends there and she wants the same thing. So we might keep the wedding small, but the party afterward -- that's going to be big." (US Weekly)
Darryl Strawberry is desperate to reach Lamar Odom and get the ex-beau of Khloe Kardashian into rehab before the former Lakers star overdoses again. The Mets' home run-hitting legend taped Dr. Phil's syndicated show "The Doctors" on Friday and made a heartfelt appeal to Odom to get help. "His family reached out to me because I am in recovery. I have two treatment centers," Strawberry said on the show, which airs Oct. 26. The slugger has two Darryl Strawberry Recovery Centers in Florida. Odom nearly died of a drug overdose in a Nevada brothel last year, but he was spotted partying at a strip club in August. "You have to understand, with celebrities, they are always silent. And that's why most of them end up dying -- because of the shame and the guilt," Strawberry said. "Look at Prince -- Prince would be alive today .?.?. Whitney Houston would be alive today if someone had talked -- you don't have to die like this." In August, Strawberry also expressed his concerns about former Mets teammate Dwight Gooden. Odom reportedly still wants to reconcile with Kardashian, but she has moved on, first dating Houston Rockets star James Harden and now blissfully attached to Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson. "I reached out to Lamar," Strawberry said, "I have the centers because people's lives matter. It's not about me. "It's not calling out the celebrity -- you are calling out the disease," he added. "If you don't call it out and expose it, you will never get well." (Page Six)
A fire in central Pennsylvania has destroyed a church intended to be a museum honoring the late singer Davy Jones. WHTM-TV reports crews responded to the blaze in Beavertown around 2 a.m. Tuesday at the former Beaver Lutheran Church. Snyder County dispatchers say no injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze isn't known. The landmark was purchased by a fan of the Monkees lead singer who died four years ago. Jones lived in the community for more than two decades and had originally bought the church with plans to renovate it. The church dates to 1880 and is one of the oldest structures in Beavertown, about 35 miles southeast of State College, Pennsylvania. (Page Six)
All the hashtags. Kris Jenner broke her silence a week after her daughter Kim Kardashian's terrifying Paris robbery via Instagram on Monday, October 10. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch, 60, shared a muted post, which she captioned "#blessed #family #love #grateful." "Every morning is a reminder of how blessed we are," the passage read. "Today I am grateful for my family, who I love more than words can explain. Count your blessings, be grateful always, and cherish every moment you spend with your loved ones." (Kim's older sister Kourtney Kardashian posted a prayer passage last week.) As previously reported, the Selfish author, 35, was robbed at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week at the Hôtel de Pourtalès on October 3. Five men who were dressed as policemen confronted her before stealing more than $10 million worth of jewelry. She was gagged and tied up in the bathroom, but her rep told Us Weekly that she was "physically unharmed" during the incident. Kim reunited with her husband, Kanye West, in NYC before traveling back home to the West Coast with the couple's children -- North, 3, and Saint, 10 months -- on October 6. She has yet to return to social media. "This incident was a completely life-changing event for Kim," an insider previously told Us. "She realizes she was living in a bubble doing what she was doing. She loved flaunting her wealth and being so public. She felt safe and never really thought about her vulnerability. Now she knows she was so naive. Everything has to change going forward." The robbery is still under investigation as new details continue to surface. As exclusively reported on Monday, the assailants set up a decoy to escape police. According to a Paris police official, one burglar pretended to fall off his bicycle while another pretended to drop a piece of jewelry. "They wanted us to believe that they were amateurs, but all the real clues point to them being extremely sophisticated professionals," the police official told Us Weekly. "There is no way a gang like this would drop stuff and fall off bicycles -- all that was done for any cameras that might be in the area. It is far more likely that they played around on bikes for a few minutes after stealing the jewels, and when they still had their masks on, before they all got into a van and disappeared." (US Weekly)
Kim Kardashian's robbers were rank amateurs ... and it showed from start to finish. Sources close to Kim tell TMZ ... she told cops the robbers were extremely hesitant and tentative ... whisking her in and out of the bathtub, pointing a gun at her head ... walking away and then pulling the gun again for no apparent reason. We're also told it seemed to Kim that the robbers were arguing over how to pull off the heist. Remember ... the robbers only spoke French. As for the robbers mimicking cops ... we're told not even close. The uniforms looked like they came from a Halloween store. The thieves used a garden-variety backpack to carry the jewels out. But they were extremely careless ... a $33,000 necklace ended up on the street as they made their getaway. And they left zip ties and duct tape behind. Still ... they got away with it -- for now. Debate Sensation Ken Bone Credits His Wife for His Standout Style Just "Like All Great Americans." He won over America with his bright red sweater, but voter Ken Bone has since revealed that his infamous debate outfit almost didn't happen. As he recalled to Jimmy Kimmel Monday night, Bone had initially planned to sport an olive green suit to Sunday night's second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. "My grandfather helped me pick it out a few years ago," he told the late-night host. "Apparently I've gotten somewhat more fat since then." After one wrong move getting into his car, Ken suddenly ripped the seat of his pants and had to muster up a Plan B. "I had to do an emergency wardrobe change." Alas, the red sweater was born and Bone's life would never be the same. Those Toy Story 2 comparisons are still impressively spot on. Now, the adorable dad has a following of bonafide "Boneheads," a sudden fame his son definitely approves of. "Logan says dad is the best kind of famous -- internet famous," he quipped to Kimmel. However, America really owes a big thank you to Bone's wife Heather, who he credits with all of his fashion sense. "I would love to say that I was born this way," Ken said. "I think the short answer is that my wife dresses me like all great Americans." Well, thanks to that killer wardrobe, Bone is now on the hunt for endorsement deals, particularly a line of his own mustache wax. In the meantime, Kimmel promised him two vital gifts -- a digital camera and a brand new suit. "That's the best thing I've ever heard," Bone retorted. Still, there's one thing he really wants -- for everyone to go out and vote. C'mon, boneheads -- make Ken's dream come true. (Eonline)
Yes, really, you can now buy a "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume" online in time for Halloween. It's just the latest offensive response to Kim Kardashian's traumatic ordeal, says Kate Leaver. For just $69.99, the " Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume" can be yours in time for Halloween. It doesn't explicitly say "Kim Kardashian, gagged and bound" but it's obvious and heavily implied by the product's description on costumeish.com: "This Halloween it's all about the #Hallomeme and who better than America's goddess of all things glamorous "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume?" She has devoted her life to promoting American decadence, youth, and hedonism but all that flashy living caught up with her one night in Paris when armed men bound her, stole her jewelry and her peace of mind. This Halloween have some fun with pop culture and dress just like the Queen of Social media with our sensational "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume" Costume." The costume includes a "white short sexy robe", long black wig, "$4 Million Dollar Ring", large sunglasses, "fake gag" and 2 inches of rope for the binding at the wrists. As you'll know - it's been one of the biggest stories of the past week - that's precisely what Kim Kardashian was wearing when her apartment in Paris was burgled by armed men. She was held captive in the bathtub while $8 million worth of her possessions were taken. The website may have avoided naming Kim Kardashian for legal reasons, but it cannot possibly be referring to anyone else but her. No; this is a blatant, opportunistic attempt to make money from the ordeal of a famous stranger. It's a tacky move from this costume outlet, obviously. I don't care how much you love Halloween or hate the Kardashians; dressing up as the frightened victim of a crime is gross. It sexualizes victimhood and that's vile, even on a holiday that celebrates the ghoulish and the disgusting. This is a blatant, opportunistic attempt to make money from the ordeal of a famous stranger. Do you know what's worse, though? This isn't even the most offensive thing that's happened since Kim Kardashian was robbed. If anything, this is the inevitable conclusion to the hateful worldwide response to Kim Kardashian's experience. Since news of her robbery broke last week, media outlets, celebrities and former friends of Kim's have accused her of being complicit in the burglary, staging it for publicity, or bringing it upon herself. There is no evidence to suggest that could be true. Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld chastised Kim Kardashian for sharing images of her bling on social media, saying "You cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you". He summed up the general attitude towards Kim in the wake of the incident; that she flaunted her wealth on social media and therefore deserves to have been gagged, bound and left terrified in a bathtub while her room was ransacked for her belongings. What she deserved is our compassion and instead, she got her own Halloween costume The story of Kim Kardashian's robbery has been told with the classic language of victim-blaming. It is absurd to suggest that anyone deserves to be scared or violated like Kim was. Fame and reality television aside, this woman's horrific experience has been treated with disdain and suspicion. What she deserved is our compassion and instead, she got her own Halloween costume. It's misogynistic, it's spiteful and it's tasteless. Kim Kardashian deserves better, as does every female victim of a crime. And don't tell me to get a sense of humor because it's just a costume and it's just a Kardashian. Every time we trivialize the abuse of a woman or blame a victim, we make their experience more acceptable. I won't stand for that - not even on Halloween. (British Glamour)

DNCE's New Music Video Will Make You Forget Joe Jonas Ever Wore a Purity Ring. Remember that purity ring Joe Jonas used to wear? Judging by DNCE's newest music video, that symbolic band is long gone. Before you press play on the band's newest clip for their new song, "Body Moves," we suggest you take your lunch break -- because it's about to get really steamy. In the video, which is shot like a home movie, Jonas and his bandmates strip off their clothes and get hot and heavy with virtually everyone in their midst, including a scantily-clad blond bombshell character, played by model Charlotte McKinney, who Joe takes a particular interest in. In between passionate romps in an elevator, three-way kisses and mattress makeouts for a video camera, Jonas shed more than just his shirt -- he officially bid his squeaky clean Disney past farewell. However, as the 27-year-old explained to E! News, his daring new style is all just a result of growing up. "I'm like everybody. You grow up and you feel like you can evolve and just tell whatever story you want to be able to tell, so it feels right." Bottom line -- Joe gives the new video, directed by Hannah Lux, two thumbs up. "I love it. It's crazy and sexy and we got some amazing people in it," he said of the video. "To do something kind of risque for us and really go there was an adventure and the whole band doesn't hold back." He isn't the only Jonas brother not holding back anymore. While Joe released this video and his previous sexy clip for "Toothbrush," where he laid in bed with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covergirl Ashley Graham, his brother Nick Jonas has also joined in on the adult fun. Since going solo, the 24-year-old "Jealous" crooner has released heated music videos of his own for hits like "Close" and "Under You," which featured a seductive shower makeout with Shay Mitchell. The provocative scene left the Pretty Little Liars star all bruised up. "My makeup artist was like, 'What did you do to your legs?'" she told Teen Vogue. "They had to keep coming into the shower to cover up the bruises because I was bruised all over." While the brothers rose to fame under the Disney brand, they soon felt stifled by the restrictive pressure to remain kid-friendly, which prevented any such shower scenes. "Because of Disney... there were so many things throughout our career that we had to sugarcoat," Joe wrote in Vulture. "If a lyric was slightly sexual, someone at the record company would tell us we had to change it...It felt like we couldn't be creative, so we stopped listening to them and just started handing s--t in." "Being a part of the Disney thing for so long will make you not want to be this perfect little puppet forever. Eventually, I hit a limit and thought, 'screw all this, I'm just going to show people who I am,'" he added. Don't worry, Joe -- we definitely see you. (Eonline)
Emily Estefan Premieres Music Video for "Reigns (Every Night)." Emily Estefan's got a style of her own and she's also got a sense of humor that shines through in her new music video "Reigns (every night)." The daughter of Emilio and Gloria Estefan is looking to have fun with all that she does and still manage to have her message delivered, if you ask us, she's doing a fantastic job. With a soulful sound and a track followed by an album that is completely written by her, the youngest Estefan is looking to make her mark in the music industry, but on her own terms. "The story line for video of "Reigns (every night)" is a little bit of a surprise or kind of like a change in perspective can really change the way that you interpret the song," the 21-year-old Berklee graduate said. "I say it all the time, I love the fact that music can truly mean completely different things to the different people that listen to it. I think "Reigns (every night)" is one of those songs that you could hear playing in the background and not think twice about its intention or what's going on and just enjoy it, or at second listen you find out that a little bit something else is going on." In the music video, we start off seeing Emily with a crush on her neighbor, which we think it's a mutual thing, but we quickly learn that's not quite the case. "I had a blast filming the video, I got to get into character, and that's always fun! We filmed it in a small town in Miami called Miami Springs and kind of made it a throwback to the 70s," Emily explained. "We had a great team of people, and I am beyond happy with the end product. Also, if people pay close attention to the video they'll find some great 'easter eggs' as I call them of some familiar things!" Having such successful parents, the new artist is now, more than ever, appreciative of all that they've done in their career. "It was impossible for me to know how hard they truly worked to be able to setup this life for my brother and I, for the whole family, honestly. They had to wait many years to have their whole immediate family in Miami. I really can't begin to comprehend how hard they worked towards the American dream," Emily said. "It influences my music, because of them, I'm aware of the power of my speech and the power of what intention you put and have people listen to it. So, I'm always thinking about what I'm saying in a more respectful light and make sure it's honest and what I want to say." When it comes to her life, she says she understands how privileged she's been to have the family that she does, especially now with her parents being able to help her and support her through the very first chapters of her career. "I'm so blessed because first of all, most parents wouldn't support an artistic child. My parents would be hypocrites if they didn't, but at the same time, it's also like they know how hard it is and they want a certain life for their daughter. But the bottom line is that they also know that it's like an infection and it's something that you can't turn away from," Emily explained. "If you do, you'll live the rest of your life unhappy." Emily isn't trying to fit into a specific role or look a certain way that isn't true to who she is, and that's why we love her. "People try and change me every day, but thankfully I've been able to say, 'No, that's not me,'" Estefan revealed. With her music, this new artist is hoping to "put into the world, the change I want to see," she's also hoping that with her honest lyrics and sound that at the very least it can help people, even if that means to distract them and make them dance for a minute, or allow them to discover something about themselves through her music. We know you will, Emily! (Eonline)

The Hall of Fame punk rockers' 12th studio LP is leading an all-new top five with 24,000 combined sales tallied at the midweek stage, according to the Official U.K. Charts Company. Revolution Radio is out-stripping Alter Bridge's second-placed The Last Hero (Napalm) by 13,000 combined sales, a ratio better than 2:1. Green Day has already topped the U.K. Albums Chart on two occasions, with 2004'sAmerican Idiot and 2009's 21st Century Breakdown. Meanwhile, James Arthur looks likely to extend his stint atop the singles chart into a third week. Ed Sheeran's Lawyers Object to Sprawling Nature of 'Photograph' Copyright Suit. When film studios and record companies get sued for copyright infringement, their first move is often to tell the court that the suing plaintiff hasn't plausibly alleged the misappropriation of non-generic expression. But that's not what Ed Sheeran's lawyers are arguing to a California federal judge after the star musician was hit with a $20 million lawsuit over "Photograph." In reaction to a complaint that contends "Photograph" is "verbatim, note-for-note copying" of a 2009 work titled "Amazing" -- authored by Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard -- the defendants complained on Friday about the bulkiness of the lawsuit. "Defying the most fundamental pleading requirement of providing short, concise and plain statements, the First Amended Complaint consists of 44 sprawling pages of prolix, repetitive, argumentative and scandalous allegations, made mostly on 'information and belief,'" states the defendants in court papers. "It makes sweeping, generalized allegations -- in 156 paragraphs, some of which go on for pages and contain upwards of 25 or 30 different sentences -- against eleven distinct Defendants." The songwriters, represented by Richard Busch (the attorney who represented the Marvin Gaye family in a copyright suit against the hit "Blurred Lines"), filed a highly detailed complaint that included musical notation of both "Photograph" and "Amazing," which was released as a single by Matt Cardle, the winner of the 2010 season of the television competition show The X Factor. Sheeran, Sony, Warner and the other defendants have now brought two motions to dismiss. One (here) contends that a lawsuit with "breathtakingly long paragraphs" is a violation of the rule that mandates a "short and plain" statement. "Responding in any meaningful way to the improper [First Amended Complaint] is impossible -- nor should eleven different Defendants be put to the task and expense of having to draft responses to this massively improper pleading," write Michael Niborski and Ilene Farkas at Pryor Cashman. On the other hand, the defendants want more clarity on who did what. "Each Defendant is entitled to have allegations that are directed at it or him," continues the motion. "Simply lumping Defendants together is not proper." Adding to the potential word count is the argument in the second motion to dismiss (here). It deals with the fact that many of the defendants including Sheeran's publishing company are domiciled in the U.K. As such, there's a nod to the "jurisdictional failures" of the lawsuit. "Plaintiffs' conclusory assertions, unsupported by a single fact, provide no good faith basis to allege contacts between these U.K. companies and California," write Niborski and Farkas. Who said suing 11 defendants is easy? (Billboard)
Trump Supporter Accuse Hillary Clinton of 'Hypocrisy' For Liking Beyonce. Betsy McCaughey, a former Lt. Governor of New York, made the rather tenuous link on 'CNN Tonight with Don Lemon.' A Donald Trump supporter claimed Hillary Clinton was guilty of "hypocrisy" for criticizing the GOP nominee for his "locker room talk" because of her professed admiration for Beyonce. Wait, what? Betsy McCaughey, a former Lt. Gov. of New York, attempted to defend Trump from the fallout from Friday's revelation of a hot mic incident, by claiming it was rich of Clinton to pile on when she herself "idolizes" and "imitates" Beyonce whose lyrics were just as bad. Or something. "I mentioned rap music because it's full of the f-word, the p-word, the b-word, the a-word," said McCaughey as she began to thread the needle of her argument. Confused CNN host Don Lemon, clearly falling for McCaughey's rhetorical trap, was forced to ask where she was going with her point. To which McCaughey dropped the hammer, the full quote making plain her thesis: "Hillary Clinton expresses that she finds the language on that bus, 'horrific,' but in fact, she likes language like this. 'I came to slay, bitch. When he f---ed me good I take his ass to red lobster.' "That happens to be from Beyonce, her favorite performer. Whom she says she idolizes and would like to imitate. So you know what I'm saying to you? There's a lot of hypocrisy, in Hillary Clinton expressing such horror at language on the bus." (Billboard)

Michelle Williams in in early negotiations portray Janis Joplin in Sean Durkin's long-in-the-works biopic centering on the 1960s rock icon. The project, titled Janis, is based on Love, Janis, a book from her sister, Laura Joplin, which uses Joplin's letters to family and friends to tell the story of a young woman rising from playing at coffeehouses to playing at Woodstock, dealing with sudden fame and celebrity while combating alcohol and heroin addiction all the while trying to keep her creativity. Joplin died in 1970 at the age of 27 from a heroin overdose after releasing only three albums and enjoying such hits as "Piece of My Heart." A fourth album was released just months after her death and featured one of her last hits, "Me and Bobby McGee." Hollywood has been trying to make a Joplin biopic for at least a couple of decades, and there are competing projects in development. Joplin has proved to be an enticing figure and actresses such as Renee Zellweger, Amy Adams, Zooey Deschanel and Broadway star Nina Arianda, among others, have riffed in and out of projects over the years. Durkin, the filmmaker behind Martha Marcy May Marlene, are producing. Williams is warming up her pipes for The Greatest Showman, Fox's musical centering on circus impresario P.R. Barnum that stars Hugh Jackman and will shoot this winter. She also stars with Casey Affleck in awards season contender Manchester by the Sea, the drama that Amazon and Open Road release in November. Williams is repped by WME. (Billboard)
Lost 'Fantastic Four' Movie Is Finally Getting Its Story Told. The documentary 'Doomed' -- telling the wild tale of the Roger Corman film -- launches Tuesday. The original big screen Fantastic Four is finally getting it's due, 22 years later. Four, the anticipated documentary detailing the drama behind the fabled 1994 Fantastic Four, is being released Tuesday -- with the doc telling the surprisingly touching tale of how the cast thought the rushed, low-budget film would propel them to stardom -- with some of them going as far as spending their own money to travel the country and hire a publicist to promote it. As the documentary tells, the film never hit the big screen, with its rise and fall becoming the stuff of legend. Doomed explores the long-reported assumption that Coreman's Fantastic Four was made so that Constantin Film could retain the rights before they expired and reverted to Marvel. The film was buried, but thanks to bootlegging, VHS copies began popping up at fan conventions and eventually became a cult classic, with Doomed director Marty Langford being among its devoted followers. "I didn't want it to get ugly. I knew we'd get into some deceit and unpleasantness, but I certainly didn't want to do a hatchet job on either them or the movie," Langford tells Heat Vision of approaching those behind the movie. "I wanted to let them finally get the attention and the respect that I thought they deserved." Langford had been waiting for years to someone to tell the untold tale of the film, the first to portray Reed Richards (Alex Hyde-White), Sue Storm (Mercedes McNab), Johnny Storm (Phillip Van Dyke) and Ben Grimm (Michael Bailey Smith as Ben, Carl Ciarfalio as The Thing) -- and big screen battle against Victor Von Doom (Joseph Culp). "If you did see the movie, the limozine shot at the end when the arm comes out and the human torch animation -- it looks bad," says Langford of Fantastic Four's limitations. "But the movie is not a joke. The movie, for what it is, it works." In the 90s, Langford worked in a Massachusetts comic book store owned by the father of Doomed executive producer Mark Sikes, who worked for Roger Corman and is now a casting director. Eventually the pair decided to make the film, with Langford and his team launched a crowdfunding campaign-depending on fans not only for financial support for the project, but also to send in photos and other things they had from the film. One of the most arresting moments in Doomed comes with a video a fan unearthed of Stan Lee at a convention in 1992, where the legendary creator disavowed the Fantastic Four film and promising that Marvel would have control over future iterations of its big screen characters. "A lot of people came forward. We credited them all," says Langford. Langford lives and works in Massachusetts, where he's a Film Studies faculty member at American International College in Springfield. He came out to Los Angels for a few weeks of photography, where the team landed a last-minute conversation with Corman, who he describe as "gracious and open." "He didn't give us anything that wasn't already public, but we weren't expecting that. We just knew we wanted him to legitimize the film," says Langford. "The people we really wanted, someone from Constantin Films, Avi Arad from Marvel. Those were the guys who wouldn't talk to us." After completing the film, it went over to distributor Uncork'd Entertainment, where the long process of clearing music and footage began-as well as setting it up for small screenings across the country. "It's important to me that after all these work, I want them to make a little money. Nobody gets rich making documentaries. It's blood, sweat and tears," says Uncork'd President Keith Leopard. "A lot of them go, 'If I just see them out, that'll be enough.' I go, 'Well what if we paid you back for the cost to make it and then some?'" Fantastic Four may be Marvel's first family, but it's faced a troubled track record on the big screen. Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) received mixed reactions from fans, while 2015'sFantastic Four reboot was a commercial and critical bomb. Unexpectedly, Corman's campy, low-budget Fantastic Four remains the best loved of the Four films for some fans. "They didn't have the budget effects or couldn't hire A-level talent. They had to rely on a simple story." says Langford. "[The other movies] concentrate on the action and the big set pieces. You need to make it a story about a family, not a story about cosmic annihilation. I think that's what the Corman movie got so right and the other three got so wrong." (Hollywood Reporter)

Candace Cameron Bure Is the Best Stage Mom to Daughter Natasha on The Voice. Last week's final blind auditions on The Voice introduced us to talented teen Natasha Bure, a.k.a. the daughter of Fuller House star and The View host Candace Cameron Bure. The 18-year-old recent high school graduate joined Team Adam after impressing him with a rendition of "Can't Help Falling In Love." Unfortunately, the singer faltered a little bit after Adam Levine turned around thanks to her nerves, and Levine vowed to work on building her confidence going into the next rounds. Fortunately, it totally worked. Bure dueted with 16-year-old singer Riley Elmore on the Michael Buble song "Cry Me a River" (no, not a Justin Timberlake cover, though an old school version of that would've been pretty great too) and really came out of her shell. Her newfound confidence was really apparent, and definitely impressed Blake Shelton, who would've declared her the winner of the Battle. But when it came time to decide who moved on to the Knockout Rounds, (SPOILER ALERT!) Levine ultimately chose Elmore to move forward. Enter mom, who came in to comfort her daughter after the disappointment of not being stolen and added to any of the other coaches' teams. "I was so proud," her mom gushed. "It was the best I heard you sing it, so you can walk out of here with your head held high." The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)
The Supergirl Cast Explains How James & Kara's Relationship Is Like...a Microwave? At the end of Supergirl's first season, Kara (Melissa Benoist), a.k.a. our titular superhero, finally worked up the courage to kiss her hottie coworker James (Mehcad Brooks) -- just before Non activated Myraid and essentially turned everyone in National City into walking robots. But stars Benoist and Brooks teased to E! News at San Diego Comic-Con in July that their relationship will heat up -- or reheat! -- in season two on The CW. "Like a microwave," explained Brooks. "It's hot and it goes round and round!" Okay, he'll admit that isn't the sexiest metaphor, but there's still a chance for the duo to actually have a romantic relationship this year. Here's what else will be happening: "There's definitely some evil going down in Cadmus, and we're going to see it much sooner than later. The hunt for Jeremiah Danvers is still on, and it's not going to be pretty when they find him," said Jeremy Jordan. Plus, teased David Harewood, "We have some serious bad guys coming into the show this season. It's going to be a lot of fun." You know, as opposed to the totally nice, upstanding bad guys that tormented National City during the show's first season on CBS. Another pressing question we'll get answered: What's in the pod? Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on its new home, The CW. (Eonline)
Your First Look at Lynda Carter on Supergirl Is Here. The day is just filled with super gifts! Not only did Supergirl return Monday tonight, making its debut on the CW and introducing us to Tyler Hoechlin's Superman, but we now also get a first look at Lynda Carter's appearance on the series. Carter, who is obviously best known for having played Wonder Woman on TV from 1975 to 1979, will be playing President Olivia Marsdin in the third episode of Supergirl season two, titled "Welcome to Earth." According to the official episode description, Supergirl herself (Melissa Benoist) and the DEO will be assigned to protect President Marsdin when she's attacked, just in time for National City to be debating alien vs. human rights. While Alex (Chyler Leigh) teams up with Detective Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) to investigate the attacks, Kara will search for the escaped Mon-El (Chris Wood). In the first look photos, Carter is looking very presidential -- and also pretty fabulous if you ask us. The addition of Carter and Hoechlin aren't Supergirl's only big changes for season two. The show debuted on CBS last season, but made the move over the summer to the CW to join the other DC superhero shows. Supergirl will even participate in a huge four-way crossover with The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow later this season. Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on the CW, and Carter's first episode will air Oct. 24. (Eonline)
'Looking' Star Raul Castillo Joins The CW's 'Riverdale'. The actor will recur on the Archie comics-inspired series, making his debut in episode five. Looking star Raul Castillo is moving to Riverdale. The actor has joined The CW's upcoming Archie comics adaptation in a recurring role, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Set in present day, Riverdale offers a subversive take on Archie (K.J. Apa), Betty (Lili Reinhart), Veronica (Camila Mendes), Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse), Josie (Ashleigh Murray) and their friends. The midseason drama takes a closer look at the surrealism of small-town life -- the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale's wholesome facade. Castillo will play Oscar, a serious, successful songwriter from New York who is also a visiting professor at Carson College, located in Riverdale. Cool and exacting, Oscar agrees to audition Archie in the hopes of possibly mentoring the aspiring singer-songwriter -- but does Archie have true musical chops? Castillo will make his series debut in episode five. Best known for his role as Richie on the acclaimed HBO comedy Looking, Castillo's other credits include Gotham, Easy and the Ricky Gervais film Special Correspondents. He is repped by CAA, TMT Entertainment Group and attorney Rick Genow. Riverdale hails from executive producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Jon Goldwater. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television in association with Berlanti Productions. Riverdale is set to bow midseason on The CW. (Hollywood Reporter)
'Bob's Burgers' Producer Launches Kids Unit, Teams With 'Teletubbies' Co-Creator. Sutikki will be the primary production partner for Andrew Davenport's next major series. Bob's Burgers producer Bento Box Entertainment on Tuesday unveiled the launch of a kids and family division, Sutikki, and a partnership with Teletubbies co-creator Andrew Davenport, who is also behind In the Night Garden. Through the relationship with Davenport's production company Foundling Bird, Sutikki will be the primary production partner and global commercial product licensor for his next major series for young children, set to be announced shortly. With the move, Bento Box makes its first foray into the programming space for kids ages 2 to 11. Bento Box co-founder and CEO Scott Greenberg announced the news on the first day of Brand Licensing Europe in London, where Sutikki is making its debut. Kids production, distribution and merchandising executives Irene Weibel and Andrew Kerr will lead the new business unit and will be responsible for its day-to-day operations. Weibel most recently served as vp and head of Nelvana Studio, a division of Corus Entertainment. She managed the development slate and served as executive producer of all series in production at the Toronto-based studio, including Mike the Knight, Disney's Lucky Duck and the previously announced series Mysticons, which will debut on Nickelodeon in 2017, and Hotel Transylvania, due to launch on Disney Channels worldwide in 2017. Kerr comes to Sutikki after holding the position of co-head, Nelvana Enterprises, where he oversaw all aspects of the Corus Kids distribution and merchandising business and Nelvana's brand rights in the Americas and Australasia. He worked on such hits as Bakunin and Beyblade and most recently on the re-boot of Zhu Zhu Pets, which premiered in September. Said Davenport: "I am thrilled to be setting out in a new partnership with Sutikki-which amounts to a new journey with old friends. I look forward to announcing a significant new project in the very near future." "Andrew Davenport has had a storied career as one of the world's most prolific creators of innovative and popular preschool content, and he is the ideal creative talent for us to partner with as we establish ourselves in the kids marketplace globally," said Greenberg. "This creative relationship, coupled with the leadership of Irene and Andrew, two of the industry's most talented and respected executives, will make us a formidable player in this space." 'Stranger Things' Breakout Millie Bobby Brown Signs With WME. Although Brown's father had earlier demanded a signing fee, sources say WME did not pay to represent the young star. Stranger Things breakout star Millie Bobby Brown has signed with WME, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The 12-year-old British actress, who plays the mysterious Eleven, has been one of the most hotly pursued young talents since the Netflix series became a sleeper hit this summer, and THR briefly chatted with her at WME's Emmy party last month. Agent-less since leaving Paradigm's kids division earlier this year, she has drawn interest from all the major agencies in recent weeks. THR reported last week that Brown's father, Bobby Brown, has demanded a $100,000 signing fee for the chance to represent his daughter. A representative for the family explained that the request stemmed from "ill advice from someone outside the industry that was said in jest," and ceased after the elder Brown realized such practice was unorthodox in Hollywood. A WME source says the agency did not pay to sign Brown. (Hollywood Reporter)
Mark Burnett says he does not have the "right to release footage or other material" from The Apprentice, on which Donald Trump starred. After footage leaked Friday of Trump making lewd comments about Nancy O'Dell and Arianne Zucker to Billy Bush on an Access Hollywood bus in 2005, the Apprentice producer reveals that he is unable to distribute footage from the NBC program, on which the businessman-turned-GOP candidate was the host. "MGM owns Mark Burnett's production company and The Apprentice is one of its properties. Various contractual and legal requirements also restrict MGM's ability to release such material," the joint statement on behalf of MGM and Burnett, 56, reads. "The recent claims that Mark Burnett has threatened anyone with litigation if they were to leak such material are completely and unequivocally false. To be clear, as previously reported in the press, which Mark Burnett has confirmed, he has consistently supported Democratic campaigns." The statement, which also addressed that the MGM president "has consistently supported Democratic campaigns," comes after much pressure on Burnett, MGM and NBC to release any unaired footage from The Apprentice that could display Trump's possible disparaging behavior toward women on the set of the hit NBC show. Last week, the Associated Press reported that the Republican presidential nominee's behavior toward women on the set of the show, including staffers and contestants, was lewd and sexist. Randal Pinkett, who won season 4 of The Apprentice in December 2005, said Trump would talk about which contestants he would sleep with even after he married wife Melania earlier that year: "He was like 'Isn't she hot, check her out,' kind of gawking, something to the effect of 'I'd like to hit that.'" Burnett is best known as an award-winning reality television producer, responsible for shows such as The Voice, Celebrity Apprentice, Survivor and Shark Tank. He recently produced a reboot of the film Ben-Hur, along with wife and actress Roma Downey. (People)
Drake and Rihanna Split Up Again, Rapper Spotted Out With India Love.

Bee Gees co-founder Barry Gibb, who this week announced a world tour starting next April in Australia, is poised to bow at No. 3 with his solo set In The Now(Columbia), while Kaiser Chiefs' sixth studio LP Stay Together (Caroline) opens at No. 4 and OneRepublic's Oh My My (Interscope) drops in at No. 5 on the latest Chart. Craig David's return to the top of the chart looks likely to be short-lived with Following My Intuition (Speakerbox) tracking down to No. 6 at the midweek point. It's a massive week for new releases as fresh recordings by Feeder, White Lies, Norah Jones and Seasick Steve are set for top 10 berths, while fresh albums from Sum 41, Placebo, Meshuggah and Kate Tempest are impacting inside the top 20. Meanwhile, James Arthur looks likely to extend his stint atop the singles chart into a third week. The U.K. X Factor winner's "Say You Won't Let Go" (Columbia) is well up on its closest rival, Chainsmokers feat. Halsey's "Closer" (Disruptor), at the halfway point of the chart cycle. "24K Magic" is the title track from his upcoming album, due Nov. 18, and it's new at No. 7 on the midweek chart. The Official U.K. Singles and Albums Charts are published late Friday local time.

Michelle Williams in Talks to Star as Janis Joplin in Biopic.

(People)
