UPDATE: Restrictions at I-19 and Ajo Way in Tucson moved to next week

Travel restrictions that had been scheduled for this week at the traffic interchange at Interstate 19 and Ajo Way have been rescheduled for early next week.
The following restrictions are scheduled:
  • The right lane of northbound I-19 will be closed in the project area from 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10 until 5 a.m.Tuesday, Oct. 11.
  • The on-ramp from Ajo Way (State Route 86) onto northbound I-19 will be closed 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10 until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct 11.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel.
ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but it’s possible that unscheduled closures or restrictions might occur because of weather or other factors. For the latest highway conditions around the state, visit the ADOT Traveler Information Center at www.az511.gov or call 511, except while driving.
