Watch for maintenance work, lane restriction on Interstate 10 west of Tucson Wednesday night

Motorists traveling westbound on Interstate 10 east of Tucson will encounter nighttime lane restrictionsWednesday, Oct. 19, while the Arizona Department of Transportation does maintenance work in the area.

Westbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane near the Wentworth Road/Colossal Cave Road exit (Exit 279) beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday until 12:01 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20. No ramps will be closed.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but it’s possible that unscheduled closures or restrictions might occur because of weather or other factors.
