Weather permitting, work on Interstate 10 near Buckeye scheduled for Monday-Wednesday (Oct. 10-12)

Overnight restrictions planned near Miller and Watson roads

The roadway rehabilitation project on westbound I-10 near Buckeye will continue early next week unless rain dampens the plans. The Arizona Department of Transportation suggests drivers prepare for the following overnight restrictions:

  • Westbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, and Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Miller Road bridge. Expect slow traffic through the area.
  • Westbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, between Watson Road and State Route 85. Drivers should proceed through the work zone carefully and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but it’s possible that unscheduled closures or restrictions might occur because of weather or other factors. For the latest highway conditions around the state, visit the ADOT Traveler Information Center at www.az511.gov or call 511, except while driving.
