Shoulder widening project on SR 260

The Arizona Department of Transportation recommends planning ahead while the following scheduled restrictions are in place:
SR260 (MP 334.46 – MP 337.48) Shoulder-widening project requires crews to be on site from Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Beginning May 2 there will be lane closures throughout the project with a pilot car operation, plan for15-minute delays until the project ends at the end of July. There will be no lane closures on Fridays, weekends or holidays. 
ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule. To stay up to date with the latest highway conditions around the state, visit the ADOT Traveler Information System at az511.gov or call 511.
