Mel B Names Taylor Swift, Adele & Katy Perry As Her Surprise Guest Wish List for Spice Girls Tour The Spice Girls recently announced a six-date U.K. reunion tour, their first since 2008. However one missing piece from the shows will be Victoria Beckham, a.k.a Posh Spice. Mel B recently sat down with ET, where she was asked about other celebrities joining the iconic girl group onstage. "You're asking the wrong person," she said. "I'm just gonna say yes, of course, it can happen. I'd have to check in with the other girls first." She then gave a mini wish list of female artists she would love to join the tour. "I'm the one [that's] always thinking about stuff like that, always," she continued. "And I'm the first one to say, 'Let's do this and we'll introduce Taylor Swift on one song or Adele or Katy Perry.' I think that's a great idea 'cause at the end of the day, it has to be a celebration." The tour kicks off June 1, 2019, in Manchester, England. (Billboard)
It seems a show cannot always go on. A plethora of fans were left disappointed after Elton John canceled his concert in Orlando Tuesday night -- nearly 30 minutes after the show was scheduled to start. You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications. "We're sorry to announce that due to an ear infection, Elton John is unable to perform tonight," Amway Center revealed in a statement on Twitter and also announced to the audience waiting for the singer at the Florida venue. The venue also explained that the concert, which is a part of the 71-year-old singer's Farewell Yellow Brick Road three-year tour, will be rescheduled for a date in the near future. "The rescheduled Orlando date will be announced in the near future so please hold onto your tickets," Amway Center wrote. "Sir Elton John I think the way that your show was cancelled tonight in Orlando was pitiful! You let all your fans including me pay for parking, hotels, babysitters, drinks, merchandise then sit and wait for 25 min after it was to begin to cancel. Pitiful," one fan wrote. "Girls, Elton John just cancelled his show in Orlando," a different user tweeted adding a crying and broken hearted emoji. "It was the first time I was gonna see him bye." "Taken 5 minutes apart," another fan wrote alongside a photo, which shows the venue before and after the cancellation. "Elton John's #FarewellYellowBrickRoad show cancelled. We were all sitting and waiting for 1/2 hour. As someone who also went home from work early sick, I hope he feels better, but dang." "Aaaand just like that, Elton John cancelled his concert tonight, due to an ear infection. Couldn't we be notified before we entered, ate and sat down in the arena," another angry fan expressed. "I was about to sing my lil heart out to 'Circle of Life' tonight w @eltonofficial but then he went and cancelled 20 minutes after the show was supposed to start," another user tweeted. Unfortunately for fans, Orlando isn't the only cancellation. John's Nov. 28 show in Tampa has also been postponed. "Due to an ear infection and doctor's orders, the sold out show scheduled for Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Tampa is being postponed to a date to be determined," a press release read. "All tickets for the original date are valid for the rescheduled date which will be announced shortly -- no exchanges needed. If a guest cannot attend the rescheduled date, refunds are available at point of purchase." A rep for John did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. The musician has yet to address the cancellations on social media. (People)
Clean Bandit Drops Electrifying 'Playboy Style' Collab With Charli XCX & Bhad Bhabie. U.K. electronic trio Clean Bandit released a new version of "Playboy Style," featuring Charli XCX & Bhad Bhabie, on Wednesday (Nov. 28), from the deluxe version of their forthcoming What Is Love? album. The new track reflects on the consequences of falling for a stereotypical bad boy. Driven by a cascading piano and acoustic guitar, Charli XCX's voice melts into the opening verse: "Had a lover undercover/ Kept it on the low/ Said that you meant nothing but my feelings really grew/ Not that I regret you but I met you, went insane." An intense drumbeat adds heat as the electrified steel-drum-backed chorus approaches: "Fell in love with a bad, bad dude/ Playboy style, should've seen right through/ All my friends, they can see the truth/ You never loved me, you never loved me." Bhad Bhabie raps the second verse and a saxophone steals the reggae-style transition to the softer bridge, in which Charli XCX recognizes her regret. Clean Bandit's new album arrives Friday and features already-released favorites including "Symphony" with Zara Larsson, "Baby" with Marina (formerly Marina and the Diamonds) and Luis Fonsi, and "Solo" with Demi Lovato. The deluxe edition contains the new "Playboy Style," "24 Hours" with Yasmin Green, "Beautiful" with DaVido and Love Ssega, and "Tears" with Louisa Johnson. (Billboard)
Tekashi 6ix9ine has 99 problems, and one of them is allegedly pilfering a pile of money from Fashion Nova only to double cross the company on his new album, "Dummy Boy." Tekashi's album "Dummy Boy" dropped Tuesday ... and one of the highlights is the track "MAMA," which features Nicki Minaj and Kanye West. The lyrics include, "Splish splash apple bottoms make that ass phat." It's catchy, but it has messed up a deal with Fashion Nova. Record company sources tell us Tekashi inked a 6-figure deal with the clothing company, to include branding in his music video -- and according to the deal the lyric in question was supposed to go this way -- "Splish splash Fashion Nova make that ass phat." Fashion Nova maybe naively believed Tekashi would deliver, so they gave him the entire amount up front. At first, it seemed things were hunky-dory, because the teaser to the track included the Fashion Nova lyric. Fashion Nova believed its deal with Tekashi was solid during the shooting of the music video for the song, which was derailed by a real shooting. And, check out the pic we got ... Fashion Nova is emblazoned on the screen with those phat asses. Now we come to how Fashion Nova got screwed. The music video never got finished, and it's not going to be completed now that Tekashi is in custody. As for the song itself, when it was released the lyric was changed so the reference to Fashion Nova was deleted and replaced by Apple Bottoms. As for why it was changed ... a source tells us Nicki Minaj was enraged because Cardi B has hooked up with Fashion Nova for a new clothing line, so she asked Tekashi to 86 the brand from the song and he obliged. We're told the company hasn't yet demanded money back from the deal ... they'll wait to see what happens with Tekashi's trial ... and, hopefully, work something out. (TMZ)
Tekashi69 had a distribution disaster on his hands after his new album leaked over the weekend, forcing him to cut a last-minute deal to make sure "Dummy Boy" hits the streets Tuesday ... TMZ has learned. Sources close to Tekashi tell TMZ ... "Dummy Boy" is being officially released Tuesday through Create Music Group. The album was originally set for distribution through Caroline and Capitol Music Group, but we're told the two sides had a disagreement after 'DB' leaked online, and Tekashi turned to Create because he wanted his music released ASAP. Our Tekashi sources say the rapper felt comfortable working with Create because the two have a longstanding relationship. Create is 6ix9ine's main music publisher, but it's the first time he's using their distribution arm. For Tekashi, the official album drop is a bit of good news in an otherwise terrible month ... he's been behind bars since Nov. 18 in his federal racketeering case, and he's currently hoping to get out on bail.
