Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Welcome Baby Girl: Find Out Her Name. Congrats to Chrissy Teigen and John Legend! The 30-year-old model and 37-year-old musician have welcomed their first child, a daughter. "She's here!" Teigen wrote on Instagram Sunday. "Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy." Teigen has been candid about their struggles and revealed last year she had undergone IVF to conceive. Teigen said in December they are expecting a baby girl, and the pair celebrated their upcoming arrival two baby showers -- one New York in March and another one in Los Angeles. The soon-to-be parents were the guests of honor at the two bashes, one of which was hosted by celeb pal Kim Kardashian and her family. The party featured a pink and white theme, while an image of Legend's face, as a child, was displayed prominently on various desserts, including a big cake. The Hollywood couple have been anticipated their little one's arrival, and even shared a few of their (hilarious) fears. "Chrissy says it's a lot of pressure though because everybody says she's going to be so cute -- what if she's not that cute? Every baby is not that cute," Legend joked in an interview with the Real 92.3 FM radio show Big Boy's Neighborhood in Los Angeles in February. "Let's just hope that she's healthy and that's all we are focused on." Let's also hope that she's ready to travel! During a recent interview with E! News, Chrissy said they're really not that worried about mixing a child into their busy schedules, and added that their daughter will be on the go with them. She explained, "I like a little chaos in life. Then baby came into our world, and we were like, 'That's cool but let's do more!'" Not to mention, she said, "I actually have more energy now than before I was pregnant." Teigen added, "I want to get her into traveling really young. As soon as someone even steps on the plane with a baby you're like, 'Ughhh! I feel bad for them!' And that's going to be us now." As for more babies in the future? You can bet that Chrissy and John are just getting started. "I think I'll probably be pregnant all through my 30s," she told Self magazine. "I've always pictured everyone around the table for the holidays and together once a week. It'll be heartbreaking if it doesn't end up happening, but hopefully it will. We've got some embryos on hold." The remaining embryos were frozen for future use. Teigen has said she plans on having a big family and that she and Legend also want a son. However, for now, let's just focus on celebrating the arrival of their first. Congratulations Chrissy and John! (Eonline)
Olympic Gymnast Shawn Johnson Marries Andrew East. Shawn Johnson is officially off the market! The retired Olympic gold medalist and gymnast and two-time Dancing With the Stars competitor married Andrew East Saturday evening in Tennessee. "I've found my guy and he's my best friend, so making it official is exciting," Shawn shared with People who first broke the news. "Everything is right about him." The bride wore a custom gown from Nashville-based stylist Olia Zavozina, who previously told E! News Shawn's dress would be "timeless, unique, and different, but at the same time be something that she can look back at those pictures 20 years from today, and say, 'Wow, I made the right choice!'" The wedding took place inside a barn and the decor was mainly ivory and green. Many ivory flowers and candles adorned the tables. Fête Nashville's Sara Fried helped Shawn to plan the whole thing, and as she told E! News last spring, it was going to be one big celebration. "Shawn and Andrew are both very close with their families," she noted, adding that even as the guest number grew, it would be "important that both the ceremony and reception remain very intimate. Lots of candles, flowers and touches of gold will create a romantic setting." Several of Shawn's girlfriends' threw her a bachelorette party April 2. As part of their weekend, they embarked on the "Spirit of Chicago" cruise, where an onlooker tells E! News the group danced a lot and took tons of photos. Shawn posted several of those pictures to Instagram, including one of her bachelorette party group on the boat's deck with the caption, "We're weird. We embrace it. #bachelorette party." The day before the wedding, Johnson and her girlfriends enjoyed a day at the spa. She and West also got their marriage license. Even fellow gymnast Nastia Liukin wished the happy couple well before their big day. "I can't wait to watch you become Mr. & Mrs. East today..." she wrote on Instagram. "HAPPY WEDDING DAY!!!" The newlyweds' wedding comes shortly after they celebrated another life-changing event: Andrew signing on with the Oakland Raiders! Earlier this month, the club announced the free agent football player, who had been previously signed to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks, had signed on with the California team. Big congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. East on all their great news! (Eonline)
Empire's Grace Gealey & Trai Byers Are Married. It's an Empire wedding! Co-stars Grace Gealey, 31, and Trai Byers, 32, tied the knot in a private ceremony in a mansion on Grand Cayman Island Thursday. 'It was a beautiful wedding filled with family and close friends," a source told E! News. "Some cast members from Empire were there. Grace looked stunning." Only about 50 people were invited, according to TMZ, which first carried the report. The bride wore a form-fitting, strappy wedding gown. Guests dined on steak and lobster and danced to hip-hop, disco and reggae music at the reception. Gealey and Byers got engaged last summer. They celebrated her birthday with a romantic dinner at a Chicago restaurant, during which about 20 of her friends and family members surprised her, a source had told E! News. Gealey sported a diamond engagement ring and showed it off months later on FabLife. "I think that if two people are mature and they're able to understand that if this doesn't work out -- 'cause first, I'm not a fan of flings when you work, cause that's where it gets a little dangerous," Gealey said. "I think that if you do get involved at your workplace, you have to know that this is something that you want to be invested in, and this is just not just something that is frivolous and fleeting." On FOX's show Empire, Gealey plays Anika Calhoun, who Taraji P. Henson's character Cookie Lyon famously dubbed "Boo Boo Kitty." During season one, Anika was engaged to Cookie's ex and Byer's character Andre Lyon's father, Lucious Lyon, played by Terrence Howard. It is unclear if he or Henson attended the wedding. (Eonline)
Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan Are Engaged. Disney Channel stars Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan are engaged. On Thursday, McCartan, 22, dedicated his 1,000th Instagram picture to Cameron, 20. The actor referred to her as his "fiancee," writing, "I can't believe I get to call you that. Thanks for saying yes." Cameron has yet to publicly comment on the engagement or share a picture of her ring via social media. The two met as co-stars on the hit sitcom Liv and Maddie and took their romance public in August 2013. This will be the first marriage for both Cameron and McCartan. Liv and Maddie's Jessica Marie Garcia is already teasing the bride-to-be on Twitter. From the beginning, their love was written in the stars -- which just so happens to be the title of their debut single. Known to fans as The Girl and the Dreamcatcher, Cameron and McCarten hit the road in 2015 as a musical duo. The pop stars released a lyric video for their new single, "Someone You Like," on Thursday. Last spring, McCartan talked to J-14 about their first date. "I took her out to dinner, [then] I took her out to frozen yogurt, and we went to this place in Hollywood called Bourgeois Pig and got some cider. We sat in this really cute room and just drank some cider and talked," said the actor, who next appears in Rocky Horror Picture Show. "Then I took her up to this place up in the Hollywood Hills that has basically a panoramic 360 view of all of Hollywood and all of the valley. So, we saw all the lights, the Hollywood sign, the Griffith Park Observatory, and it was so romantic. We were up there until 3 in the morning, just talking and looking at the lights. Then I took her home and it was the most perfect, most romantic first date ever." Cameron felt a spark the moment they kissed. As she once told Fanlala, "We went to this park, because he's just like Romeo, and he was just like -- I'm so grossed out by how cute he is -- but he picked me up one day from my apartment. He had a car and he was a hot older boy. This was back before we were like really, really dating. We were just sort of seeing what happened. He took me to this park underneath a tree at sunset. He brought this guitar and he was like, 'Do you wanna come write songs with me in the park?' I was like, 'OK!...You're what movies are about!'" At one point, "I leaned in to kiss him on the cheek, and he turned his head really quickly and kissed me, because he knew that I was too shy to just kiss him. So, he like tricked me into it...I don't remember this -- because in my mind it was magic and sparkles -- but I apparently turned away and squealed and turned bright red." The Descendants actress admitted she was "really embarrassed" by her behavior. "He said that was the moment that he knew that he was going to have feelings for me for a long time," Cameron explained. "He was like, 'I totally fell for you when you freaked out when I kissed you.' He tells that story a lot better than I do because I make myself sound like a gremlin and he makes it sound really cute." (Eonline)

Drew Barrymore Replaces Her Wedding Ring With Some French Poetry-Inspired Jewelry. Drew Barrymore is changing up her jewelry game. The actress, who recently revealed that she's divorcing husband Will Kopelman after nearly four years of marriage, has decided to ditch her wedding ring and rock a new accessory on that finger. And it's not just any random piece. Barrymore was honored at the ASPCA's 19th annual Bergh Ball in New York, and while holding her award, we noticed that a nice blue and gold ring has replaced her diamond. The new ring is a 14-carat gold and blue enamel piece with words, "Qu'Hier Que Demain," which is a portion of the French phrase meaning, "More Than Yesterday, Less Than Tomorrow." The ring, designed by Alison Lou, is available on the website Broken English with a price tag of $1,550. The complete poem, written by early 1900s French poet Rosemonde Gerard, is "Car, vois-tu, chaque jour je t'aime davantage, Aujourd'hui plus qu'hier et bien moins que demain," which translates to, "For, you see, each day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow." In an interview with Good Housekeeping for the May 2016 issue, the 41-year-old Golden Globe winner showed signs of personal discontent when she was asked how she would rate her current happiness. "Yesterday I was a 10, tomorrow I might be an 8, this afternoon I might be a 3 and tonight I might be an 11. I just have a lot on my plate right now, and it's hard to figure out the puzzle pieces for the next year of my life," she admitted. When the interviewer asked her to elaborate, she replied, "Oh, just work-wise, geography-wise, life-wise." Unbeknownst to the magazine or the public, Barrymore was on the brink of a divorce from her art consultant hubby whom she wed in June 2012 and is the father of her two daughters, Olive and Frankie. "Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family," the pair announced in a statement on April 2. "Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority." (Eonline)
Brian Austin Green Breaks Silence About Ex Megan Fox Expecting Their Third Child Together. Megan Fox's current pregnancy came as a surprise to fans and ex Brian Austin Green, the father, appears to be taking it all in stride. The 29-year-old actress turned heads this week when she debuted a baby bump, prompting questions about the identity of the father of her third child. While Fox jokingly eliminated three mock contenders, E! News recently learned Green is the dad. The actress filed for divorce from the actor, with whom she shares sons Noah, 3, and Bodhi, 2, last August. "You know, nothing is planned," Green told People magazine at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Celebrity Race Friday. "None of them are ever planned. You kind of just go with it." "At my age, to be having three babies, is crazy," he added with a laugh. "I'll be 43 this year." Green also has a 14-year-old son, Kassius, with fellow Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and General Hospital actress Vanessa Marcil, 47. Fox, 29, has not commented directly about her pregnancy or the status of her and Green's relationship. Since she filed for divorce, they have continued to spend time together with their sons and also stepped out together a day after her baby bump reveal at CinemaCon 2016. Their divorce is still pending and Fox's attorney filed paperwork relating to it as recently as the end of January. However, a source told E! News the divorce "will likely be put on hold for a while." "This pregnancy was not planned, but when they found out they were extremely happy," the source added. "Megan and Brian love being parents. They are working really hard to be together and one unit -- not only for their children, but also for each other. They are looking forward for the arrival of their new baby." (Eonline)
Jason Sudeikis Says He and Olivia Wilde Will Finally Get Married When... They've been engaged for what seems like forever, so when will Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde finally tie the knot?! The actor, who shares adorable son Otis with Olivia, actually gave a caller an answer on Watch What Happens Live Thursday night and admitted when he and his gorgeous fiancee would get hitched. "We are good in many many ways," Jason began his answer. "I believe that we won't get married until weed is legal in every state. "Gosh darn it!" he joked. Jason popped the question in January 2013, but three years later fans are itching to know why they haven't made it official yet. Olivia addressed fans' burning question in The EDIT earlier this year, explaining that they don't need a paper contract to take their love to the next level. "We are seriously connected," she told the publication. "Before you have a child, marriage is the ultimate commitment and promise to one another, and then once you have a child, it's like, 'Oh, we're committed and promised already.'" And they are a very happy group of three. Olivia couldn't help but gush to E! News about her son in the fall when she was promoting her film, Meadowland. "He's thriving, he's really happy," the brunette beauty shared with us. "Every day there's a new development but we're just really lucky that he's healthy and he's the best!" Jason has also opened up about his tiny tot in the past, sharing a video of Otis making a slam dunk and revealing how he learned to walk stumble his way through life. "I'm thinking is this my fault? Am I not walking enough in front of him? It's the drinking. It's the Segway," Jason joked after revealing that his friends' children were all walking before Otis. "You get to watch evolution happen in front of your very eyes," Sudeikis added. "Because he was crawling forever." (Eonline)
Jeremy Renner Opens Up About Fatherhood: ''It's the Most Important Thing In My Life.'' Jeremy Renner talking about his three-year-old daughter Ava is the sweetest thing ever. The actor gushed about his adorable little one while promoting his upcoming sci-fi drama Story of Your Life at CinemaCon. Simply put, Renner said, fatherhood "is the most important thing in my life." We've seen a peek of adorable Ava on the actor's Instagram. "I still don't expose my baby's face, just to protect her or anyone in my family [who's] a minor," Renner said. "I just think that's not my decision to make. You know what I mean? You don't need to be world famous just because your jackass did is." The Captain America: Civil War actor recently posted a pic of himself with Ava in his trailer on the set of Wind River, a thriller he's shooting with Elizabeth Olsen. She's too young yet to tell if she has the acting gene, Renner said. "I think she's definitely artistic for sure, but...I'd love to steer her away from [show business] but I'll never say no," he said. He added, "I first and foremost want her to be a kid and have a lot of fun." Too sweet. In Story of Your Life, Renner stars as a physicist opposite Amy Adams as a linguist who is recruited by the military to try and communicate with aliens that have landed on earth. (Eonline)
Madonna is closer to keeping her baby. The pop star, 57, had a meaningful heart-to-heart with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie regarding their son Rocco's custody on April 8. The 15-year-old currently resides with his dad in England, despite a December court ruling placing him in Madonna's care in New York. "The meeting went well and it's a great sign of things to come," a Madonna insider says in the latest issue of Us Weekly. The sit-down took place at the "Rebel Heart" singer's central London home the day after she landed in the U.K. Two days later, Ritchie, 47, dropped Rocco at his mom's for two hours of quality time. "This is the first sign of him getting close to his mom again," the source adds. "She's in such a good mood." Madonna and Ritchie are also parents to David, 10, who they adopted together. The "Ghosttown" singer is also mom to Lourdes, 19, with ex Carlos Leon, and Mercy, 10, who she also adopted. Ahead of her trip, the ionic pop star put out positive vibes on Instagram. "YES! Good things are coming!" she captioned an April 7 photo. Sources say Rocco's desire to stay with dad has been attributed to the film director's lenient attitude, and Madge worried her ex-husband had been trying to turn her son against her. "He's telling Rocco he should stay with him," a second Madonna insider told Us in January. "You can't blame him for wanting to live with someone who will let him run wild." As the hostile custody battle waged on, Ritchie seemed to lighten his stance, with plans for a peace talk coming together last month. And if the parents, who divorced in 2008 after eight year of marriage, don't figure things out, they'll have to report to NYC court for a hearing on June 1. Madonna's lawyer told a High Court justice March 21, "She wants to chart a course for Rocco and the family to help put this behind them and restore peace to the family." (US Weekly)
Cheryl Burke's got a deep-seated hatred for her former "Dancing With the Stars" partner Ian Ziering. Burke revealed being around Ziering 24/7 drove her so nuts it made her "want to slit [her] wrists." The grizzly confession went down on Matt Weiss and Theo Von's "Allegedly" podcast. Burke and Ziering were eliminated in the semi-finals back in season 4 -- but according to Burke, she practically begged producers to give her the axe way before then. The podcast will be released on iTunes Tuesday. (TMZ)

The former member of the Supremes performed as scheduled at the Sands casino complex in Bethlehem later Wednesday. Rosario Dawson Arrested at Washington, D.C. Protest, Says Police Acted "Really Lovely." Rosario Dawson was recently arrested at in Washington, D.C. after taking part in a Democracy Spring protest and appeared to be in good spirits during her encounter with police. The group has been staging a sit-in at the U.S. Capitol to protest the role of big money in politics and restrictive voter identification laws. Dawson, 36, was issued a $50 citation for crowding, obstructing or incommoding after crossing police lines, ET reported. She is one of more than 400 demonstrators arrested this week. In a video posted on the YouTube page of the online news show The Young Turks, the Sin City actress smile as a police officer appears to remove something from her hands and motions for her to move to a certain area, amid a crowd of protesters, many of whom chanted in unison and held up signs. Some demonstrators are also seen standing with their arms bound by white plastic ties issued by officers, who carry several of them clipped to their belts. Dawson was also photographed standing with fellow protesters, raising a fist in the air, flashing a peace sign and holding up a sign that reads, "Overturn citizens united." "Where we sat down actually ended up being a little bit further away, so we ended up getting told multiple times that we were going to be arrested and then they walked away," Dawson, who wore a Young Turks T-shirt, said in a video posted on the show's Facebook page. "I think there was maybe a desire to not particularly maybe have me arrested because they didn't want that to be put out there. So we got up when they walked away and we sat down and we were arrested. I wanted, for me, personally, to be in solidarity with the other folks who put themselves on the line and also just to bring attention to this." "The police were really great with us and really lovely," she said, adding that "that is not the case for so many people," such as Black Lives Matter activists. She said she and the other protesters are "putting ourselves on the line for what a lot of people across America and I think across the planet really want to be able to see happen in America, which is one person, one vote and to really take the money out of politics so that we can have fair elections where real progressives and people can be going up and running for office and be seen and we can have true options for our leadership." Dawson also posted photos and videos from the protest on Instagram. "So glad to join #DemocracySpring in #DC. #DCStatehood #RestoreTheVRA #VoteTogether #NotMeUs #MoneyOutOfPolitics #WeThePeople #ThePeoplesHouse #VotersNotDonors," she wrote. Dawson was back in full politics mode Saturday; She took part in a march for Democratic presidential candidate U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders in New York City. She had also taken part in a campaign event for him earlier this week. (Eonline)
WWE superstars Adam Rose and Konnor have been suspended for a second time for violating the organization's drug policy. The WWE has a "wellness policy" -- clearly a euphemism -- prohibiting the use of certain drugs, including performance enhancers, illegal substances and various meds. Wrestling officials did not disclose the type of drugs they found in Rose's and Konnor's system. The suspension takes place immediately and will last for 60 days. (TMZ)
Derrick Rose gave his rape accuser a list of demands prior to her deposition ... including one very odd request -- used condoms from the night she was allegedly gang raped. During preparation for a deposition in January ... Rose and his attorneys submitted a request for materials related to the case. They asked the accuser for the usual stuff -- texts, photos and emails. They also asked for "any and all condoms that you retained as evidence from after the alleged rape." You'll recall the woman claims Rose and 2 of his friends drugged her, then got into her apartment later that night and raped her ... back in August 2013. She's suing for more than $20 million. It's unclear if Rose's request is based on direct knowledge she held onto condoms that now would be well over 2 years old. It's also unclear how they would impact the case. Based on the docs, it's clear the accuser produced some of the requested materials ... like texts. We don't know if she ever gave up the jimmy caps. (TMZ)
THE OTHER STUFF . . .
Prince William & Kate Middleton's Taj Mahal Visit Gives Princess Diana Her Happily Ever After. Prince William has finally erased the ultimate symbol of his mother Princess Diana's heartbreak with a hugely emotional visit to the Taj Mahal. As William sat with wife Kate Middleton by his side Saturday, in front of the architectural masterpiece built by a devastated emperor for his deceased wife, the significance of the moment would not have been lost on him. Twenty-four years ago, a solitary Diana rested atop the exact same bench. While the then Princess of Wales posed for only five minutes as photographers snapped away, the iconic image captured endured and has become a haunting reminder of what is left behind when a fairytale marriage has been irretrievably broken. Arguably the world's most magnificent emblem of love, and yet it must have been the place where Diana felt the most unloved. Years before Prince Charles had said he would like to take his wife on a romantic trip to the famous building, but rather than accompany Diana on that February day in 1992, he chose instead to visit an architecture school hundreds of miles away. Abandoned and alone, Diana went anyway. And after her picture was taken, she couldn't help but reveal to the waiting press how much better it would have been if her husband had accompanied her. Later, she admitted, "It was a very healing experience." When a reporter asked her what she meant by that, she said, "Work it out for yourself." We now know what Diana couldn't have possibly known at the time, that the breakup of her marriage (announced a few months later) would become bitter and turn into an all-out war. And far more tragically, that she would never get to see her beloved sons grow into the men she hoped they would one day become. Over the years, since her tragic death in 1997, I have talked to many people who knew her, and they tell the same tale. All Diana hoped for was that William and Harry would find happiness and marry for love. She wanted them to find the happily-ever-after she knew she could never have with Charles. William did just that. And ultimately his marriage is everything his mother hoped. By going back to the place of Diana's sadness today, and sitting on what is now known as Di's Bench, he is showing that good can come out of the worst kind of adversity. Saturday was a son's tribute to his beloved mother. Recognition that she taught him the most valuable lesson of all. It will create new memories for William and Kate (and Prince Harry). And one day, when they are old enough to understand, show Prince George and Princess Charlotte (who shares a middle name with her late grandmother) that heartbreak doesn't last forever. And maybe the ghost of Diana's sadness can finally be laid to rest. (Eonline)
Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo List New York City Loft for Sale for $5.5 Million. As they await the birth of their first child, Adam Levine and pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo are no longer in a New York state of mind. Earlier this week, the two listed for sale their luxurious 2,800-square-foot loft, located in a historic cast iron building in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, for $5.5 million. Last month, three weeks after E! News learned about Prinsloo's pregnancy, the 26-year-old Victoria's Secret Angel and Levine, 37, were spotted house hunting in the upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles. While hardly cramped, their New York City loft has one bedroom. While many couples end up sharing sleeping quarters with their newborns -- by choice or not, it is not the most glamorous living situation for new parents. The property is also not in the safest part of town and is decorated like a bachelor pad. Levine and Prinsloo bought the loft for $4.5 million in 2014, about a month before they got married, and had it renovated. The home, which used to have three bedrooms, contains an oversized master bedroom with a walk-in closet. A Nightmare Before Christmas pillow lies on the bed. There are two bathrooms, including a large one with a Jacuzzi and separate walk-in shower. A pool table and a bar are located in the open living room space, which contains a multiple-piece blue velvet couch. The couple is offering all furniture for sale at the buyer's request. There are also multiple columns, restored exposed brick walls, thirteen-foot ceilings, hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances and black granite countertops in the kitchen. Levine and Prinsloo currently own a 3.6-acre, six-bedroom home in a gated community in the Benedict Canyon section of Beverly Hills, which the singer bought in 2012 for $4.8 million. It is has since been remodeled several times. (Eonline)
Arnold Schwarzenegger worked it out with the son who has become his spitting image. Arnold showed Joseph Baena the ropes Saturday at Gold's Gym in Venice. The 18-year-old is jacked like an up-and-coming Mr. Universe, but the Pepperdine business major has other aspirations. Arnold was bragging in the gym ... Joseph's pulling straight A's. We haven't seen a single pic of the Arnold and Joseph together since he was a small boy, although we know the 2 were always in contact. This kid could end up being the true Arnold protege. Arnold was Mr. Dad Saturday, travelling to Coachella to spend time with son Patrick. (TMZ)
In Defense of Jennifer Garner's Mom Style. In the eyes of the fashion elite, Jennifer Garner's style may not be particularly groundbreaking; it's neither avant-garde nor trendy. Call it a lack of polish, if you will -- but Jen represents what Lainey Gossip and Buzzfeed has called the "Minivan Majority." Should she choose, the Miracle From Heaven star could market her everyday look into a full-fledged lifestyle brand -- to the delight of mainstream mothers everywhere. Think: Reese Witherspoon's Draper James without the prep or Gwyneth Paltrow's goop... without the goopiness. Hate or love it, there's power in Jen's style sensibilities -- here's why. Even Glossy Fashion Magazines Know Her Value. In just over a decade, Jennifer went from Maxim's "Sexiest Woman Alive" and barely there Alias costumes to walking around town, bare-faced in jeans and a comfortable sweater. It's a refreshing perception of celebrity that's so relatable that not even the fashion elite can ignore her mass appeal. Granted, this is the same set that might trash talk her style behind closed doors, but in editorials, angle it as "casual-cool," "effortless" or another FC (fashionably correct) synonym. "This native West Virginian's relaxed, unpretentious style has made her arguably one of the most respected public mothers in America and still a draw at the box office," wrote Krista Smith of Vanity Fair. Sure, you could argue that her split with Ben Afleck has made her all the more newsworthy -- enough for even high-fashion glossies to cash in on her story. But whether she's wearing a white, collared wrap dress in a glamorous VF spread or walking on the street in a Soia & Kyo Rosaleen Classic Coat (currently sold out, by the way), there's a styling present that exudes something pure, maternal yet modern. She Is No Fashionista. That said, Jennifer doesn't pretend to be something she's not. "I'm not someone who should be in a beauty spotlight. I was one of those people who wore pajamas to class every day in college, and I would still be that way if I could! I'm in New Balance sneakers every day," she told Allure in 2014. It's this take on practical fashion that makes her popular, especially to those attracted to the wholesome, all-American lifestyle. "Ben's wife, Jennifer Garner, sells a shitload of magazines in the Midwest," Matt Damon noted in a 2013 interview to The Guardian. She Works it When it Matters. At the end of day, she's still an A-list celeb with endless resources at her fingertips. The star publicly noted how she has grown to appreciate high fashion, especially on the red carpet. However, it's not without its challenges. "See how I have a waist right there?" she said on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon of her custom Versace dress from the 2016 Oscars. "I don't have one in real life anymore. What they do is they move your organs around. There are basically two men who come in with screwguns, and they screwed me into a metal corset -- this isn't true, but it was a metal corset and it did take two Italian people. The next thing you know, my ribs were compressed." From anyone else, this could sound irreverent, but Jennifer manages to be relatable -- exposing what it looks like behind the glitz and glamour -- while still sounding appreciative for the position she's in and the things she's learned from the artful albeit sometimes over-the-top world of fashion. So, as a fashion enthusiast, am I a fan of Jennifer Garner's sense of style? No. But as someone in the business of trends, do I respect her point of view? Absolutely. (Eonline)

Prince showed everyone he's on the mend Saturday, showing up at $10 dance party. TMZ broke the story, Prince's private plane made an emergency landing early Friday after a concert in ATL and His Purpleness was rushed to the hospital. His people later told TMZ he was battling the flu. We're told Prince wanted people to have living proof he's still living, so he showed up at around midnight at Paisley Park near his Minnesota home and showed off his new guitar and piano. He didn't sing, but told the crowd, "Wait a few days before you waste any prayers." (TMZ)
It was all about Guns N' Roses Saturday at Coachella ... clearly the highlight of the festival. Axl and the boys slayed with "Sweet Child O' Mine," and went on for an astounding 3 hours ... well, a skosh shy of 3 hours. Axl was confined to his throne -- courtesy of fellow broken-legger Dave Grohl -- but midway through their set he brought on Angus Young, telling the crowd someone needed to jump around the stage. And this is hysterical ... the concert went on so long, Axl had to change clothes. Thrones are a bitch. BTW ... AC/DC announced Axl will be their lead singer for their world tour, because Brian Johnson was in such bad shape hearing-wise he was afraid he'd go deaf on the road. (TMZ)
Kesha ended her self-imposed exile Saturday night, joining Zedd on stage at Coachella. She hasn't performed since her feud with Sony and Dr. Luke erupted, but it was just like riding a bike, because she sounds awesome. Unclear if there's any symbolism in her song choice ... "True Colors." (TMZ)
Mariah Carey's ''Heartbreaker'' Nemesis Bianca Resurfaces 17 Years After Famous Bathroom Brawl. Hold on to your popcorn (and your boyfriends), because Bianca's back! Mariah Carey announced that her arch-nemesis, who made her debut in the singer's "Heartbreaker" music video in 1999, has returned for what we can only imagine is more trouble. Wearing a black, thong leotard, leggings and boots, Mariah, er, Bianca posed seductively to announce her racy arrival on Twitter. "Ladies and gentlemen... #Bianca," Carey tweeted with one photo, and then continued, "#Bianca returns." OMG, WHAT DOES THIS REALLY MEAN?! For those who have somehow forgotten about Bianca's epic entrance into all of our lives, we'll remind you how it went down (don't be too hard on yourself, it was 17 years ago, after all). The music video for Carey's hit single "Heartbreaker" featured the singer joining her girlfriends for a trip to the movie theater where -- along with dancing around in her pink crochet crop top and low rise flare jeans -- Carey spied on her boy-toy Jerry O'Connell while he was on a date with none other than Bianca. At one point, Bianca walked out to use the restroom so she could get all of the popcorn out of her dark tresses (which were thrown by none other than Carey's pals), and Mariah, along with her precious butterfly clip holding her bangs back, followed for the inevitable confrontation. What we got instead was a full-on cat-fight in the ladies room! Ultimately, Carey walked out and greeted her cheating beau with a nice cold fountain drink to the crotch. So only one question remains -- what kind of drama will Bianca stir up this time?! (Eonline)
U.K. Vinyl Sales Continue to Grow, David Bowie's 'Blackstar' is Year's Best Seller. Vinyl sales in the United Kingdom grew by 60 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2016, according to latest figures from the labels trade body BPI. Almost 640,000 12" albums were sold between January and March with vinyl's share of the album market climbing to 3.9 percent-almost double that of 2.1 percent in Q1 of 2015. The best-selling LP between January and March was David Bowie's Blackstar, released just a couple of days before his death in January. Bowie also had three of the top 10 vinyl albums in the first quarter: compilation record Nothing Has Changed-The Very Best Of and a deluxe reissue of 1972's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust. The second highest-selling LP between January and March was Amy Winehouse's Back to Black, with Manchester indie act The 1975 landing the period's third best-selling LP with its sophomore effort I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It. In the Official Vinyl Singles Chart, Bowie again ruled the roost, with four singles in the top 10, including the biggest selling vinyl single of Q1 with "Golden Years." Other artists in the singles top included The 1975, Massive Attack, Jeff Buckley, Blossoms and New Order. As previously reported, vinyl album sales hit a 21 year-high in the U.K. last year with 2.1 million units sold in 2015. It was the eighth successive year in which vinyl sales grew. If the once redundant product continues to sell at a similar rate to Q1 throughout the rest of the year, BPI says that LP sales in 2016 will cross the 3 million barrier and could possibly exceed 3.5 million-a level that hasn't been reached in the U.K. since the 1980s. "Vinyl is no longer the preserve of baby-boomers who grew up with the format," commented Geoff Taylor, Chief Executive BPI & BRIT Awards. "It now also appeals to a new generation of engaged younger fans and millennials. While digital platforms provide fans instant and unlimited access to an ever-expanding cosmos of music, they can't quite match the unique experience vinyl gives you." "As we celebrate the first birthday of the Official Vinyl Charts, it is encouraging to see the resurgence of this much-loved format continuing apace in 2016," added Martin Talbot, Chief Executive, Official Charts Company. The strong Q1 figures arrive a day before the ninth annual Record Store (introduced in the U.K. in 2008, a year after its U.S. debut), which traditionally sees a spike in vinyl sales. This year there will be 230 independent retailers taking part in the U.K. with 250 labels releasing one-off exclusive vinyl product for the day. (Billboard)
If nothing else, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is proving that he's got the indie rock vote sewn up. On the heels of Wednesday night's massive rally in New York's Washington Square Park headlined by Vampire Weekend, comes news of the Berniechella Block Party. The two-day festival slated to take place before the second weekend of Coachella (April 21-22) in Old Town Coachella, will feature Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros singer Alex Ebert, Ozomatli, Grupo La Meta, Rodrigo Amarante, Moses Summey, Venus & the Moon as well as DJ sets from actress Zoe Kravitz and artist Shepard Fairey. The free event will also have beer gardens, food trucks live art and installations and is expected to draw up to 3,000 people. "It's a party of people who are in support of a particular candidate," event organizer Tizoc DeAztlan told the Desert Sun. DeAztlan said he's reached out to the Sanders campaign and hopes the candidate shows up, but the Democratic nominee has not yet responded. "This is the first time since I've been here on this dais and the first time in the Coachella Valley that the campaign of a presidential candidate is willing to do an event," said Mayor Steven Hernandez, who noted the city is not on the hook for any expenses related to the mini-fest. "I think it's good for us. It's good for democracy and it's good for the city." On Thursday, veteran campaign staffer Rania Batrice, the Sanders campaign's national director of surrogates, told Billboard that the campaign reaches out to artists for events like Wednesday night's, where Vampire Weekend played a 4-song set at a free nighttime rally in Washington Square Park, as well as Sunday's free concert in Brooklyn's Prospect Park with a performance from Grizzly Bear and Monday's TV On the Radio gig at Long Island City's Hunter's Point South Park. Other times, Batrice said, artists, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers have set up their own events in support of the Senator. (Billboard)
"The River" flowed the same way twice for Bruce fans in Michigan on Thursday night. On Oct. 3, 1980, when the group's original tour in support of The River opened in Ann Arbor, Bob Seger joined Springsteen and company for an encore reprise of "Thunder Road." History repeated -- albeit with different songs -- on Thursday at the Palace of Auburn Hills in suburban Detroit, when Seger again joined Springsteen and the E Streeters for the conclusion of their nearly three-and-a-half-hour concert. Springsteen had actually journeyed into the crowd during "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" when guitarist Steven Van Zandt waved-up Seger -- who lives nearby and was sitting in the front row on the side of the stage with his wife Nita -- and handed him a tambourine to help finish the song. Seger stayed onstage for the show-closing rendition of the Isley Brothers' "Shout," finishing the song by leaping in tandem with Springsteen and then joining the band for its final bow. It was a special moment for Michiganders that followed a more poignant one earlier in the show. After saluting the work of the local Gleaners Community Food Bank, Springsteen warned the Palace crowd that Michigan was considering LGBT-discriminating legislation "similar to the ones that forced us to cancel our show in North Carolina" on April 10 in Greensboro. "We hope the bill doesn't pass, 'cause we love playing in Michigan," Springsteen added. "So keep your heads up." He and the band that launched into "Born in the USA." Springsteen did not make any reference to the Greensboro cancelation LGBT issues during his previous show on Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio. Michigan Sen. Tom Casperson has announced he's planning to introduce a bill similar to North Carolina's controversial Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act that restricts restroom use to the gender specified on one's birth certificate. The proposed Casperson bill would permit transgender school students to use staff or single-occupancy unisex bathrooms -- but only with the consent of their parents. Ringo Starr has joined Springsteen in protesting the North Carolina law, canceling his June 18 All-Star Band show in Cary. Gregg Allman and Jimmy Buffett have gone ahead with their scheduled concerts in the state this month but both made statements criticizing the law. (Billboard)
In Miami, Drake called Rihanna "the real queen" when he joined her onstage for their No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Work." But in Toronto she was "the greatest woman I've ever known in my entire life." Dressed in a "Views" hoodie, Drake came out partway through their smash collab to take up his vocal part and engage in some flirtatious twerking. Toronto's native son, whose new album Views From The 6 is scheduled to drop April 29, was then left alone onstage to perform new track "One Dance," then 2015's "Jumpman." When he was done, he said, "One more time, if you would do me the favor and make some noise for the greatest woman I've ever known in my entire life. She goes by the name of Rihanna... I go by the name of Drake and If there's one thing I care about it's everybody in this motherf---ing building... Views From The 6, April 29 -- I put my heart in this shit for you." This was Rihanna's second of two shows at the Air Canada Centre, as part of her Anti World Tour, which began March 12 in Florida and ends Aug. 21 in England. Just a few days after tour kick-off, Drake was her surprise guest in Miami. (Billboard)
During a Tribeca Film Festival talk, the rock legend and Ethan Hawke discussed how they measure success and what they love about Vincent D'Onofrio: "We should be giving awards to that guy!" Patti Smith always thought she'd become an actor before ever becoming a songwriter. "I loved being onstage, but I couldn't take the repetition of doing the same lines," she told Ethan Hawke during a talk at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival on Thursday. "I didn't have the right discipline. Acting is so hard. God bless our actors. No one realizes what a rough gig it is, really. They think, 'Movie stars, they get so much money.' It's the worst f -- ing job in the world. "Fourteen, 15 hours at a time, and a lot of times just sitting in seven hours of makeup, then there's a technical problem and you have to do it all over again," she continued. "You have to shoot the same scene from 40 different angles. Crappy food. ... Acting is much harder than rock and roll." Hawke laughed and added, "All that is true -- I completely agree." Smith said she used to dream of starring in Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage and Her Children -- of which Hawke said excitedly, "You're getting old enough for the part now!" -- but after seeing Meryl Streep in a 2006 staging at Central Park's Delacorte Theater, she nixed the idea. "I couldn't believe how awesome it was," she recalled. "The strength she had, her movement, her body language. I don't think she has arthritis." Still, Smith recalled a tip Sam Shepard shared when they were writing Cowboy Mouth: "'Patti, it's improvising, you can't make a mistake. If you miss a beat, you invent another beat,' That made perfect sense to me, that little instruction. ... That served me my whole life, one of the greatest lessons I've ever gotten." After the two traded compliments on Hawke's portrayal of Chet Baker in Born to Be Blue ("It felt like methadone, not that I've taken it," she praised) and Smith's lifelong authenticity ("You had given yourself permission to be yourself," he told her, to which she said, "It's the only thing I know how to do"), Smith and Hawke discussed their measurements of success, which often conflicts with what the public sees. Hawke shared how, while shooting Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, Philip Seymour Hoffman told him that winning an Oscar is "confusing. It's really confusing." "What people perceive as success as paper, often it's totally flat-out wrong. When people are getting praised for succeeding, they're rotting on the inside, and when they're getting ridiculed on the outside, they're actually growing inside," the actor explained. "Sometimes success really atrophies people -- they get caught in a glass box, trying to repeat it or live inside it." Smith admitted that though it's fun to get awards, "the only real success is that success when you know when you've done something well. ... Sometimes it's success that hardly anybody sees." Most recently, Smith has found success as an author of crime novels, and she has actor Vincent D'Onofrio to thank: After occasionally watching dubbed episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent while touring Europe, "Finally, I just went and bought a f -- ing TV and started watching it at home and seeing it in English," she said. "I fell in love with it." Hawke also sang praises for D'Onofrio, who commits to every role, regardless of size: "They give him [Daniel Day Lewis] an Oscar for [Lincoln] because he was great in it. But give me Steven Spielberg, Tony Kushner, a part like Lincoln and the best master craftsmen of every profession, and I'll do a pretty good job, too. But put me as a guest star on an episode of Matlock -- that is hard! We should be giving awards to that guy." (Hollywood Reporter)

J.J. Abrams Says Rey's Parents Not In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Then Clarifies Comments. There was an awakening in The Force and a collective gasp was heard among Star Wars fans across the world Friday as J.J. Abrams dropped a major bombshell. During a Q&A at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival, a fan asked the Star Wars: The Force Awakens director and producer the most burning question of them all: Who are Rey's parents? "Um, Rey's parents are, uh, not in Episode VII," he said, referring to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which was released last December. "So I can't possibly, in this moment, uh, tell you who they are." "But I will say that it is, uh, this is all I would say -- it is something that Rey thinks about, too," he added, drawing laughs from the audience. But let's analyze this, shall we? According to Abrams' comments, this means that, despite popular fan theories, Rey's parents, who seemingly abandoned her on the planet Jakku as a child, are neither Han Solo, Leia Organa nor Luke Skywalker. Abrams later clarified his comments, telling EW, "What I meant was that she doesn't discover them in Episode VII. Not that they may not already be in her world." Many fans said on social media the director appeared to be "backtracking" and did not appear to be persuaded. Some also brought up another controversy -- how Abrams opted not to reveal identity of Khan, Benedict Cumberbatch's villain character in his 2013 movie Star Trek: Into Darkness, a before the film was released, despite widespread speculation. Abrams later told MTV News he thinks "it probably would have been smarter just to say upfront, 'This is who it is.'" Meanwhile, fans were quick to bring up alternative theories about Rey's history. Some suggest Rey is Obi-Wan Kenobi's granddaughter, which could explain her powerful connection to The Force, not to mention the lightsaber of his former Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader. Others say she could be a descendant of the villain Emperor Palpatine, another Force-sensitive character. In addition, shippers of Rey and villain Kylo Ren, Han and Leia's son, were particularly elated by Abrams' comments, as they signaled that the scavenger-turned-heroine and dark Knight of Ren are not siblings or cousins, making the possibility of a romance more possible. Many of them think Rey and Kylo forged a Force bond and that she will end up redeeming him and leading him away from the Dark Side into the Light -- a theory boosted by a tweet Mark Hamill, who plays Skywalker, posted last weekend after Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey, won Breakthrough Performance and Adam Driver, who plays Kylo, won Best Villain at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. "Dark&Light @mtvmovieaward Wins!" Hamill wrote. "Adam(U should smile more)Driver&Daisy(the adorable)Ridley! Hope 2C you more in #EP8." The two reprise their roles in the still unnamed Star Wars: Episode VIII is set for release on Dec. 15, 2017. (Eonline)
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have collaborated on their first film, The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. And the mother of one is not only starring in the Bill Purple-directed drama, but she's also a producer. Among her list of duties was to oversee her husband, who composed and served as music supervisor for the soundtrack. "[There are] so many more things to take care of, so many more hats to wear. Problems you have to fix," Biel, 34, told ET about her producing role when she attended the The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea premiere at the Tribeca Film Fest in New York City on Thursday. "Normally, [as an actor] you just come to set and don't have to worry about any of the problems. I don't have to worry about if the money is there. I don't have to worry about if the cast is happy." As for working with Timberlake, 35, the actress shared that there was no need to "micromanage" him in the process. "He's much better left to his own devices," Biel revealed. "I mean, I like to say that I was his boss, but I wasn't really acting as his boss. So we had a good working relationship." The couple have been married for over three years tying the knot in October 2012. They first started dating in January 2007. Thursday's premiere also served as date night for Biel and Timberlake, who are parents to 1-year-old son Silas Randall. The Au Fudge restauranteur shared a cute selfie en route to the premiere on Instagram writing, "#Stankface #tribeca2016." The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, also starring Maisie Williams and Jason, will hit theaters later this year. (People)

The 'Jurassic World' actor voiced Baloo the bear in the Hindi dubbed version of the film, helping Jon Favreau's version of Rudyard Kipling's classic to the second highest opening ever for a Hollywood title in India. Already a huge star at home, Irrfan Khan is arguably one of India's most recognized faces in Hollywood after appearances in Jurassic World and multiple Oscar-winner Slumdog Millionaire. He continues to balance work in Bollywood with Indian independent movies and U.S. productions, such as Ron Howard's upcoming Dan Brown adaptation Inferno. For Disney's reboot of The Jungle Book, Khan stepped in to voice Baloo the bear in the Hindi-dubbed version of the film released in India alongside the original English (where Bill Murray played Baloo.) Khan's star power, along with Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra (who dubbed the snake Kaa) and actor Om Puri (panther Bagheera) in the film's Hindi version, helped Jon Favreau's take on Rudard Kipling to an impressive $8.4 million opening weekend in India, considered the second highest opening ever for a foreign film. The Hindi version of the release has accounted for more than half of the film's total box office in India. The result is all the more impressive because India's censors, in a controversial move, slapped the film with a UA rating, equivalent to a PG rating in the U.S., claiming the movie's 3D effects were "too scary" for young children and limiting The Jungle Book's Indian audience. Khan tells The Hollywood Reporter that the film has worked well in India because "it brings the whole family together. It is just not a story that appeals to kids, it also resonates with adults." "They initially offered me to voice the character of Sher Khan, the tiger [voiced by Idris Elba in English]," says Khan, adding, "If you go back to the times when Rudyard Kipling wrote the books [the first was published in 1894], back then, tigers were a danger to humans. But today, humans are a threat to tigers [due to poaching]...That's why I chose to play Baloo." Given Baloo's jocular nature in the film -- he's the movie's comic relief -- Khan was asked to voice him in the style of a North Indian Punjabi, a community known for its joie de vivre. "Actually, Baloo's character has already been well fleshed out in the original book and the film takes it to another level," he adds. When his ten year old son first saw the film, before Khan began dubbing, he noted that it would be nice to see his dad "play someone who is so endearing" for his first voice-over role. Rudyard Kipling was born in Mumbai (then Bombay) and lived in India for some years working in newspapers as he wrote his books. The Pench forest in India's central state of Madhya Pradesh inspired him to create the setting for the adventures of Mowgli, a boy raised in the jungle by wolves. India also fired his imagination for some of his other popular books which were turned into major Hollywood movies. These include 1939's Gunga Din, starring Cary Grant, 1950's Kim, starring Errol Flynn and 1975's The Man Who Would Be King, starring Michael Caine and Sean Connery. "Even though the book was originally written in English, The Jungle Book is an Indian story at heart," says Khan. "Also, its overall theme of good winning over evil is universal, which is seen in other cultures." In addition to the star appeal of the Bollywood talent associated with the Hindi version, Disney India also cashed in on the popularity of a Japanese anime television series, which aired in 1993 on state broadcaster Doordarshan, dubbed in Hindi. Jungle Book: The Adventures of Mowgli(or Jungle Book Shonen Mowgli in Japanese) from Nippon Animation featured a specially composed Hindi title song which became very popular and went on to define the childhood of a generation growing up ahead of the deluge of satellite television channels that started to unfurl towards the mid-nineties. The song -- "Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai" (loosely translated as "there is a story going around in the jungles") -- had a similar impact as the classic "The Bare Necessities" from Disney's iconic 1967 animated version of Kipling's stories. Well-known composer and film-maker Vishal Bhardwaj and veteran lyricist Gulzar, who both worked on the original song for the series, re-recorded the track to give it a more contemporary flavor. While it doesn't appear in the film's Hindi dubbed version, the song is featured in a promo video as part of the film's marketing push which has garnered over 3.8 million views on YouTube. "The idea was never to take away from the original mood of the song, so nostalgia, playfulness, innocence and magic were still an intrinsic part of the new version," says Disney India, vp-studios, Amrita Pandey. In another connection, actor Nana Patekar, who voiced Sher Khan in the TV series, reprised his role for the Hindi version of the film. Khan, 49, says he was not too aware of the series, but he does remember the song. "It is a song which stays in people's minds and has a long life. It can keep entertaining us for time to come." As exclusively reported by THR, Disney is in negotiations with Favreau and writer Justin Marks to reteam for a Jungle Book sequel given the abundance of original material from Kipling's novels. Until Mowgli returns to the big screen, Favreau has another Indian connection: his 2014 title Chef, in which he starred as a professional chef who quits his job to run his own food truck in Los Angeles, is getting a Bollywood remake. The new film is currently in production with actor Saif Ali Khan in the role played by Favreau. "I'm excited to see how this personal film translates to the Indian culture," Favreau said in a statement while announcing the remake. "The themes of food, music and family should resonate well." 'Magallanes,' 'Ixcanul' Top Premios Platino Shortlist. The Platinos, which are aiming to become the Latino Oscars, will air live on TNT Latin America on July 24. The Peruvian thriller Magallanes and the Guatemalan drama Ixcanul top a shortlist of films looking to make the final cut for the 3rd edition of the Premios Platino. Other films receiving multiple nods Thursday include Ciro Gomez's Oscar-nominated Embrace of the Serpent (El Abrazo de la Serpiente), from Colombia; The Memory of Water (La Memoria del Agua), from Chile; Mexico's Carmin Tropical, Argentina's The Clan; and Dominican Republic's very own, La Gunguna. Salvador del Solar's redemption thriller Magallanes had its international premiere at the Toronto film fest, while the award-winning Ixcanul, from up-and-comer Jayro Bustamante, bowed at Berlin last year. The Platinos were launched in 2014 as a platform to promote Ibero-American movies, cinema hailing from Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal. Organizers see the awards ceremony as a version of the Oscars for the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world. Latin American films in particular tend to perform well on the international festival circuit, however, more often than not they struggle to find audiences at home. Oscar-nominated actor-producer Edward James Olmos, who attended Thursday's news conference in the Dominican Republic, said he believes the awards ceremony will help under-the-radar films gain broader exposure. The final nominees will be announced on May 26 in Los Angeles and the ceremony is set for July 24 in Uruguay. (Hollywood Reporter)

Will Gardner Alert! Josh Charles Might Be Returning for The Good Wife Finale. Be still, our Will Gardner loving hearts: According to a new report, we'll see our favorite dearly departed lawyer once more before the upcoming series finale of The Good Wife. Although CBS did not confirm the news, TVLine reports that Josh Charles has filmed a top-secret scene for the May 8 episode, a never-before-seen flashback sequence with Julianna Margulies' Alicia Florrick. Alicia's former love, Will Gardner, was killed off in the shocking season five episode "Dramatics, Your Honor," though he's been seen and heard from (in flashback form) since then. Charles has also directed multiple episodes of the series, including one since his character's death. "I would love to return," he told E! News last summer of the potential to direct another episode. He was supposed to direct a season six episode but couldn't make it work with the production schedule on his Netflix series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, but still feels close to the show he called home for five seasons. "That's my family over there." Since leaving The Good Wife, Charles starred in the aforementioned Netflix series and recurred on Showtime's Masters of Sex. He's also popped up in a few sketches on Inside Amy Schumer. Charles' exit from the series was kept under wraps so well that fans were shocked when Will Gardner was tragically gunned down in the courtroom by his client (sorry, Hunter Parrish, but we're never looking at you the same way again). "It is kind of amazing, we've been able to keep it a secret for an entire year," Charles said on The Late Show shortly after Will's death aired. "I told some family members who I know could keep a secret, which is very few." The Good Wife airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on CBS. (Eonline)
Grey's Anatomy Recap: Is This the Beginning of the End for Bailey and Ben? That was a tough one. Grey's Anatomy just gave us two full hours of Bailey, Ben, and the ultimate conflict of interest. While the hospital was locked down for a few minutes to locate a missing child, Dr. Warren (Jason George) got stuck in a hallway with a pregnant car crash victim named Gretchen. When her blood pressure dropped and she passed out, he felt his only option was to deliver the baby via c-section...just as the elevator doors opened, meaning he could have then made it to the OR. Unfortunately, neither the baby nor Gretchen survived, which made Ben's situation a lot more serious. He struggled to actually take it seriously, but the chief (Chandra Wilson) was taking it very seriously. She formed a committee to decide disciplinary action, consisting of Meredith, Maggie, and Owen, and it was up to them to determine whether or not Ben was telling the truth about not having seen the elevator doors open. All the while, Bailey had to wrestle with the continuing collision of her work and home life. Ben can't stop screwing up in an effort to save everyone's lives regardless of rules or protocol, and Bailey then has to choose whether to treat him as her husband or as the student he still is. In the end, she punished him with a six month suspension, despite the committee deciding that he was not, in fact, lying about not seeing the elevator doors. Ben totally freaked out about the suspension, knowing it would put him way behind the rest of his class, but his noble screw-ups have been far more dangerous than they have helpful. He and Bailey did not end the night on good terms, but Bailey did get a win. She decided to focus all her efforts on keeping Gretchen's husband, Omar, alive. She even violated his DNR to restart his heart, and miraculously, he woke up at the end. Elsewhere, Callie and Penny are contemplating moving to New York together so Penny can take a grant, and April and Jackson are still not doing well, but they did have a little bonding moment at the end of the episode when she had him feel the baby kick. Sure, they had just discussed how much they hate the people they've become and that their relationship is probably unfixable, but we'll take whatever happiness we can get. As for Ben and Bailey, we hope that ship hasn't sailed, but it may just be too hard for a marriage between the chief and a resident to ever work out. Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Did The Blacklist Really Just Kill [Spoiler]? Another day, another dead lady on TV...or is it? The Blacklist certainly just made it seem like Liz (Megan Boone) died after giving birth to her daughter, but after the past couple of weeks of everybody dying and the history of this show, we're not fully in mourning just yet. In the middle of getting remarried, Liz and Tom (Ryan Eggold) were interrupted by Mr. Solomon, and then ended up in a car accident that sent the very pregnant Lizzie to the hospital. Her baby, Agnes, was delivered successfully via c-section, but then something ruptured and she had to be put in an ambulance. That ambulance was then also attacked by Mr. Solomon, and Lizzie died before they made it anywhere, seemingly leaving Tom alone to raise his baby (and his own potential spin-off). Given the fact that Red (James Spader) has faked Lizzie's death before, and that Megan Boone is pregnant in real life and may need some time off for maternity leave, we were immediately suspicious, and the internet was too. Basically...we're going to need to see some receipts here, The Blacklist. The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)

In an exclusive sneak peek at Friday night's episode of Kendra On Top, the reality star revealed that she's "divorced" her family both mentally and emotionally, and she isn't sure she'll ever be able to have a relationship with them again. Speaking to her friend, Lavance, Kendra admits she doesn't know if she'll ever speak to her brother, Colin, again because she's never sure what will and won't be used against her -- especially due to her mom's possible tell-all book. "Would I like to get together with my brother? Of course I do," she tells the camera. "But the last thing I need in my life is for me to open my heart up and then for it to be turned around and used as information for my mom and her book." Lavance continues to question her, asking if she truly loves her family. "I love my mom and brother," she answers. "But I've divorced them in my heart and in my mind." Loyal fans of the former Girls Next Door star know that Kendra's relationship with her mom Patti has been fairly rocky for several years. There Might Be a Lot Less Game of Thrones Left Than You Thought. Yes, there's been much discussion about the impending end of Game of Thrones. Your favorite TV shows can't last forever, after all (unless your favorite show is Law & Order: SVU, because that baby will clearly stay alive and kickin' for years to come). But today brings the news that although the GoT creators have discussed two more seasons, ending after season eight, that might not mean as much time in Westeros as you expect. Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss tell Variety in a new interview that they think the final two seasons will be much, much shorter than the ten-episode stories we're used to. "I think we're down to our final 13 episodes after this season. We're heading into the final lap," Benioff says. "That's the guess, though nothing is yet set in stone, but that's what we're looking at." Before you round up an army of White Walkers to storm the writers' offices, know this: the entire reason they're thinking of making the seasons much shorter is so they can spend more time (and likely money) on the existing installments. "It's crossing out of a television schedule into more of a mid-range movie schedule," Weiss says. Last year, the showrunners spoke of their desire to wind down the series in a satisfying way. "We could go another four years," Benioff said -- before dropping the real news. "But the one thing that really got us excited when we pitched this to HBO was that this isn't just a regular series. It's a real story with a beginning, a middle, and an end. He continued, "We know what the end is, and we're barreling towards it. So the idea that we're going to try and stretch it out by an extra couple years just because we're all having a good time doing it and people are making money off it just feels like it would be a betrayal." Game of Thrones season six premieres on Sunday, April 24 at 9 p.m. on HBO. (Eonline)
Inside Amy Schumer's Raunchy New Trailer Has All the Vagina Jokes You Will Ever Need. Have you ever been in need of a vagina joke, but just didn't have one handy? Lucky for you, it seems like the new season of Inside Amy Schumer has them in spades, just based on this 90 second trailer. There's a yogurt that makes your vagina "taste like nothing," a gynecologist intent on ruining hot pockets, and something about The Color Purple, all mixed in with sex, guns, and spaghetti. There's also quite a bit of puking, spitting up, and water breaking, and when we type it all out like that, it sounds pretty horrifying. When you watch it, it is slightly less horrifying. Maybe? No? OK. On one hand, everything about this trailer is pretty disgusting, but on the other hand, we've put up with an awful lot of gross out comedy focusing on other sex organs over the years, and this continues to be a welcome change. Is it a little much? Yes of course, but when it comes to Amy Schumer, we wouldn't have it any other way. Inside Amy Schumer premieres Thursday, April 21 at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central. (Eonline)
The series will be written and directed by Josh Wakely. Amazon Studios and Lionsgate TV are developing a series based on Bob Dylan's song catalog, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The series will be written and directed by Josh Wakely, an Australian filmmaker who received permission from Dylan to use his songs for the development of a project based on the character found within them. Called Time Out of Mind after Dylan's 1997 album, the project is being conceived as an hour-long drama. Few additional details are available on the effort, which has not yet been given a pilot or series pickup at Amazon. The project will be produced by Lionsgate and Wakely's production company, Grace: A Storytelling Company. Wakely previously licensed worldwide rights to The Beatles' catalog for his upcoming Netflix animated children's series Beat Bugs, which features new renditions of the classic songs. Time Out of Mind is the latest in a string of music-themed projects for Amazon, which include a limited series about The Grateful Dead that is being produced by member Bob Weir. (Billboard)
Among the possible scenarios: seven episodes for season seven and six for a potential eighth season. The end may be in sight for HBO's Game of Thrones. Sources confirm to The Hollywood Reporter that showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are mulling two short-order final seasons for the fantasy drama based on the best-selling book series by George R.R. Martin. Among the plans being considered are seven episodes for the not-yet-announced seventh season and six for a likely eighth and final season. "Any conversations about the end of Game of Thrones and the number of episodes of future seasons is purely speculative," an HBO spokesperson said Thursday in a statement. "As is customary, HBO will sit with Dan and David to discuss the details once a decision has been made to go forward with season seven." While nothing is set in stone, the 13-episode pickup being split in two would follow a similar trajectory to AMC's Mad Men, when the cabler split its final season in half. While no decisions have been made, producers are said to be mulling multiple options. The news comes as HBO's newly minted Emmy-winning drama series approaches new ground as season six, which bows April 24, will mark the first time the show has bypassed Martin's books. Insiders told THR in January that the premium cable network was near a two-season renewal that would take Game of Thrones through season eight. A formal renewal is expected to come soon as HBO typically picks up the show around its return date. It's unclear if the series will score a two-season renewal or if HBO will wait to hammer out a formal end plan for its highest-rated original. (Hollywood Reporter)
