TODAY IS

Today is "4-20," or as it's known in Washington State and Colorado, "Wednesday."

Carmen Electra turns 44 today. Back in her prime, she was a superhero on the TV show "Baywatch" where she could magically run in slow motion. At least, that's all I remember. (Trivia: She was born Tara Leigh Patrick, but changed her name to Carmen Electra after it was suggested by Prince. I don't know that Prince is the guy I'd listen to, when it came to name advice... but in this case, it worked.)

Stephen Colbert turns 52 today. Yep, it takes a lot of years to become an overnight success.

Crispin Glover celebrates birthday #52, forever to be remembered as young George McFly in the "Back to the Future" movies, which we've almost forgotten about.

Jessica Lange turns 67. I'm not saying anything about her moral character, but she was once picked up by King Kong.

Ryan O'Neal is celebrating his 75th birthday today. "Love is never having to say you're sorry."

George Takei, who played Sulu on the original "Star Trek" TV series and now Mr. Facebook, turns 76 today. Oh my!
