Valentin Chmerkovskiy has had his share of celebrity partners on Dancing with the Stars, but it appears there's just one partner for him off the ballroom floor. The DWTS champion proposed to longtime girlfriend -- and fellow DWTS dancer -- Jenna Johnson in Venice, Italy. Johnson, 24, shared their engagement news on Twitter Thursday, tweeting, "#ENGAGED @iamValC." She appeared shocked as Chmerkovskiy bent down on one knee while holding out a ring. In a second photo, she bent down to kiss him and, of course, say "Yes!" He also shared a photo, writing in the caption, "I can't wait to make you my wife ???." "My life has changed because of [her,]" Chmerkovskiy told PEOPLE of his new fiancee. "And I find myself to be the best version of myself that I've ever been. She's awesome." In May, Chmerkovskiy responded to a tweet about Johnson when a fan account shared a gif of her wearing a red bedazzled costume. "Jenna Johnson though," the account tweeted, to which Chmerkovskiy responded, "I should def put a ring on it," adding three emojis: eyes, heart eyes and a crown. His tweet came the same day Johnson joked to Entertainment Tonight about a proposal. "Time's a-ticking!" She said. "We'll see [if engagement is in the cards anytime soon]. We both have very big things happening right now, so we'll let that ride over... maybe we'll go to Fiji!" In March, he admitted to Entertainment Tonight that "it's hard" to watch Johnson hit the ballroom floor with other men. "The type of person I am, I mean, I'm fairly jealous. I mean, look, I have all these emotions, you know." "I'm not perfect," he continued. "But I have to check myself and be fair and say, like ... how can I hold this against her if I'm in the same situation? And I would never want to compromise my artistry, you know, because I wouldn't want to make my significant other feel uncomfortable." "This is part of the new chapter in my life," he added. "It takes some sacrifice to have a healthy relationship. And, you know, you gotta be willing to make those sacrifices and I'm definitely willing to make certain sacrifices to make it work." The couple dated off-and-on beginning in 2015 but began publicly sharing their love story in 2017 -- most publicly sharing a passionate kiss on the season 25 finale of DWTS. He previously dated Amber Rose. "I'll be honest, I'm just tired of fighting this because I realize that people and Hollywood are obsessed with romance and love stories," Chmerkovskiy has told PEOPLE of his decision to open up more to the media about their relationship. "I feel like it's private. it should remain private but at the same time I understand I can't be a hypocrite. I'm on Instagram kind of sharing our vacations and my love for her constantly." After becoming an uncle to his brother Maksim and Peta Murgatroyd's son Shai, Chmerkovskiy has admitted he has a little bit of baby fever. But that doesn't mean kids are right around the corner for the newly engaged couple. "I think she would love to be a mother," Chmerkovskiy has said of Johnson. "But she also has so many incredible things going on in her life and I would feel very selfish to interrupt them for nine months. But definitely soon, hopefully." (People)

Jillian Michaels and Heidi Rhoades Break Up, Call Off Their Wedding. It's over for Jillian Michaels and Heidi Rhoades -- and apparently, it has been for a while. Speaking directly to her "tribe" Friday, the fitness guru revealed her engagement to Rhoades, a music manager, has been called off. "You've been with me through it all so I'm sharing some news with you...Heidi and I have been split for a while now," Michaels wrote on Instagram. "We've found we're better friends and parents living apart than staying together. Life and people change but our love for one another and commitment to raising our two kids as an inseparable team remains. Thanks for always loving and supporting us, the feeling is mutual!" Rhoades has not commented on the breakup. The exes have two children together; Michaels adopted a daughter from Haiti in May 2012, and Rhoades gave birth to a son that same month. "We're not married yet," Michaels, a former Biggest Loser trainer, told Health magazine in a 2015 feature. "We were domestic partners. And, then, we had to co-adopt each other's kids." Fans watched Michaels propose to Rhoades in 2016 on her E! reality show, Just Jillian; she popped the question in a private movie theater. "I know I'm an ass a lot of the time, but if you will continue to put up with me, I would like you to marry me," Michaels told her longtime partner, as the cameras rolled. "And even though I gave you that ring, I got a ring [for myself]." Reflecting on the proposal, she said, "Heidi is the perfect person for me. The only place where there's like a solace -- a safe haven -- is with my family. And Heidi is the nucleus of that family. She's the glue that really holds everything together, and I think without that, I would be lost." (Eonline)

Chad Michael Murray's Wife Sarah Roemer Pokes Fun at Sophia Bush's Comments. After Sophia Bush said marrying Chad Michael Murray was "not a thing I actually really wanted to do," Murray's current wife is weighing in -- with a laugh. Bush and Murray, former One Tree Hill co-stars, became wife and husband in 2005 after getting engaged the year before. Five months after their wedding, it was revealed that they had split. In early 2006, Bush filed for an annulment and their divorce was finalized that December. Fast forward 12 years later, the Incredibles 2 actress gave an interview to Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, in which she explained how she ended up exchanging vows with a man she didn't actually want to marry. "Because how do you let everybody down?" Bush said. "And how do you -- what's the fight and when you have bosses telling you that you're the only person who gets a person to work on time and 200 people either get to see their kids at night or they don't because our days start on time." In the aftermath of the interview, Bush reacted to the media attention on Twitter. "When you're taking the piss out of yourself - b/c people can't let the past go & you really wish they would - & gossip rags try to turn it into inappropriate drama rather than self-deprication. Don't twist people's words, y'all. If it wasn't clear, I was making fun of MYSELF," she wrote online. "And if all the years that have passed haven't made it WILDLY clear that we're all grownups who've become the best versions of ourselves, then I just don't know what to say. And PS, if my teasing MYSELF on the radio today -- for my past -- hurt anyone's feelings, I am sorry." Murray and the actor's rep have also issued comments on the matter. "Chad conducts himself in a completely professional manner and would never marry for any reason but love," his rep told People, calling the story "ludicrous." "Thirteen years since his divorce from Sophia, he has a very happy family life with his wife and children." As the rep concluded, "He has completely moved on and doesn't feel the need to engage in this type of behavior." Meanwhile, Murray himself seemed to react to the interview with a cartoon gif of Pinocchio's nose growing. "Do u know what I do every morning?" he also tweeted. "Wake in my loving family's embrace, make coffee & breakfast 4 the kiddos with my wife. Read 1-2 chapters in the Bible 2 start the day off right. Then we plan how 2 fill the day with love 4 my family & brethren. It's so simple yet so fulfilling." As for Murray's wife of three years, Sarah Roemer poked fun at Bush's comments. Late Thursday, the actress shared a meme on her Instagram account that read, "Wait a second...my producers also made me marry Chad Michael Murray!" "#13yearslater," she continued. "#iwishpeaceandloveforall." (Eonline)

Brad Pitt Spends Father's Day in London with His Kids Amid Custody Dispute. It's Father's Day on the other side of the pond and Brad Pitt is celebrating with his children. Last week, a judge presiding over Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce proceedings established a detailed schedule for the actor to spend time with Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 9-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, who reside with Jolie as she films Maleficent 2 in London. The court papers obtained by PEOPLE stated, "the children not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them," and that Jolie, 43, could lose full custody of the kids if she doesn't allow them to grow their relationships with Pitt. Maddox, 16, his oldest son isn't included in the timetable. That's because according to the court, Maddox is old enough to decide for himself how much time he wants to spend with his father. "He is a great dad and always loved being with his kids," a Pitt source says. "He doesn't talk badly about Angie, but he feels it's her fault that the kids don't want to spend more time with him." Pitt has been in the U.K. since last week, when he was seen on Wednesday riding his bike across the Coworth Park hotel property, only a few miles from where Jolie and the kids stay in England. When filming starts on his next movie, Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, later this summer, Pitt will balance his time between London and Los Angeles, where he maintains a "very busy schedule," the insider says. "He often attends dinner parties, socializes with friends and attends events." For last year's Father's Day, Pitt celebrated one day early. Several of the kids were seen being dropped off at the Okja executive producer's Los Angeles house, before flying out to France with their mom later that day. (People)

Jeremy Meeks is gonna have his own modern family after striking a deal with his ex-wife that gives him primary custody of their 9-year-old son and gives her a hefty sum of money ... TMZ has learned. Sources tell us the "hot felon" -- turned "still-hot ex-felon" -- and Melissa Meeks reached the agreement shortly after their divorce was finalized earlier this month. Under the terms, we're told, Jeremy gets primary physical custody of Jeremy Jr. and Melissa will get a check ... somewhere in the 6-figure range. As we reported, Jeremy and Melissa's original divorce deal had her getting primary physical custody with a 70/30 split in time with each parent. They've flipped that under the new deal and, starting this summer, Jr. will be living in the U.K. with Dad and his gf, Chloe Green. We're told Jeremy and Chloe have already enrolled Jr. in a private school he'll begin attending in the fall. The new arrangement allows Jeremy to merge both of his families. Remember, he and Chloe -- the Topshop heiress -- just had a baby of their own. Now, little Jayden Meeks-Green will grow up with his big bro. (TMZ)

Jennie Garth doesn't seem like she wants to draw out her divorce, so it's convenient she and her estranged hubby signed a prenup ... according to new legal docs anyway. The former '90210' star claims she and Dave Abrams agreed to a prenup before they wed in July 2015, so she wants it to be followed during their divorce proceedings. Garth agrees on their date of separation -- August 29, 2017 -- and says she wants to change her name back. The ex-couple doesn't have any kids together. We broke the story -- Abrams filed for divorce in April, which would put the kibosh on Garth's third marriage -- but he never mentioned the prenup. (TMZ)

But they hit it off, and it quickly became clear Pete was serious about moving on with Ariana. The good news -- it seems all parties involved are happy with the end result. As we reported, Cazzie's not upset or dwelling on her ex's quick rebound. Hey, if it's good enough for Ross and Rachel. As for Ariana and Pete -- they're still in full PDA mode with Davidson posting a pic wrapped up with his fiancee, captioned ... "u know what you'd dream it be like? it's better than that." As we reported ... the couple got engaged last week after just over a month of dating, firmly cementing themselves in the Whirlwind Romance Hall of Fame. (TMZ)

Chris Hardwick Scrubbed From Nerdist Website Amid Chloe Dykstra's Abuse Allegations. After years of silence, Chloe Dykstra has spoken up. In an essay penned on Medium titled "Rose-Colored Glasses: A Confession," the 29-year-old actress described an allegedly abusive relationship with an unnamed ex-boyfriend that she endured in her early '20s, during which she claims she suffered "long-term abuse," sexual assault and career blacklisting. Early in the relationship, Dykstra alleged that there were "rules" established that she had to follow, including reserving her nights for him, not having close male friends, not drinking alcohol and not speaking in public places in fear people were listening because of his celebrity. "I made the choice to accept his controlling behavior, as he'd just left his long-term girlfriend and I assumed that he was going through some serious emotional discomfort," she wrote. "This was a huge mistake." As the relationship continued, Dykstra claimed she was pressured into taking an on-camera job at the man's company and took it because she was afraid to upset him. She also said she "let him sexually assault" her regularly. "I was expected to be ready for him when he came home from work," Dykstra wrote. She explained that when she first rejected him because she didn't feel well, he told her his previous relationship ended because of the lack of sex and she took it as a "veiled" threat. As a result, Dykstra said she "laid there for him, occasionally in tears," a sight she claimed he called "starfishing." "He thought the whole idea was funny," she wrote. "To be fair, I did go along with it out of fear of losing him. I'm still recovering from being sexually used (not in a super fun way) for three years." She also alleged she had a curfew and was yelled at if she didn't answer his calls. As a result of the alleged circumstances, Dykstra said she began to "drift through life like a ghost" and had lost 15 pounds. Amid suffering from anorexia, the star said she had a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy, for which she had to undergo surgery. She explained she was most afraid of the man's anticipated anger over the pregnancy. After three years, she ultimately left him for someone else. In response, she claimed he contacted companies she worked with to get her fired by threatening to never work with them. Additionally, she said an unnamed woman she had trusted helped destroy her friendships. At 25 years old, Dykstra said she was blacklisted. The actress wrote about how she considered suicide multiple times and had reached the lowest point in her life when she was looking over the 101 freeway while standing on an overpass. Since that time, she said she's worked to rebuild her life with professional help. "I'm in a much better place. I've got a wonderful group of friends, a healthy career, a film I'm proud of, a show I'm proud of, two wonderful dogs, a house I own, and a bright future (at least, in my eyes)," she concluded. "While we were together, he repeatedly shared with me that he was terrified I would talk publicly about how he treated me, but I'm done protecting him at the expense of my own mental health. He talked about me publicly, incorrectly speculating loudly and regularly that I was sleeping around on him, on multiple occasions (once in front of an audience of thousands at a convention)." As Dykstra signed off, "This story, post, whatever this is, serves as both closure for me as I say farewell to my twenties and stumble my way into my thirties, and it serves as a warning for every single one of you, regardless of gender...Please, please, keep an eye out for those red flags." While she did not name the man she was writing about, many have interpreted the essay to be about Chris Hardwick, the stand-up comedian, actor and podcaster Dykstra dated for three years before they announced their split in 2014. Dykstra made several references to Hardwick in the course of the essay, including that the man she was writing about was a podcaster and that he was almost "20 years my senior." The two are 17 years apart. Amid the allegations seemingly against Hardwick, Nerdist, the company that grew from a podcast he created, has removed all references to him on its website. "Chris Hardwick had no operational involvement with Nerdist for the two years preceding the expiration of his contract in December 2017. He no longer has any affiliation with Legendary Digital Networks. The company has removed all reference to Mr. Hardwick even as the original Founder of Nerdist pending further investigation," a Legendary spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter on Friday. E! News has reached out to Dykstra and Hardwick's camps for further clarification and comment. (Eonline)

Chris Hardwick is firing back at his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Dykstra ... denying her allegations he sexually abused her during their relationship. Hardwick tells TMZ ... "I was heartbroken to read Chloe's post. Our three-year relationship was not perfect -- we were ultimately not a good match and argued -- even shouted at each other -- but I loved her and did my best to uplift and support her as a partner and companion in any way and at no time did I sexually assault her." He continues, "When we were living together, I found out that Chloe cheated on me, and I ended the relationship. For several week after we broke up, she asked me to get back together with me and even told me she wanted to have kids with me, 'build a life' with me and told me that I was 'the one,' but I did not want to be with someone who was unfaithful. I'm devastated to read that she is now accusing me of conduct that did not occur. I was blindsided by her post and always wanted the best for her. As a husband, a son, and future father, I do not condone any kind of mistreatment of women." As we reported ... Chloe posted an explosive essay detailing a prior relationship with a man 20 years older than her, who forced to have sex and follow his strict rules. She never named Chris as the ex, but every detail of the story made it clear he's the man to whom she was referring. Hardwick is already feeling the fallout -- Nerdist, the website he founded and sold to Legendary Entertainment, removed all of his content on Friday, and made it clear he no longer has any affiliation with the company. He also hosts his own talk show on AMC, as well as "Talking Dead." The channel has yet to comment on the allegations or the fate of Hardwick's shows. (TMZ)

Chris Hardwick is losing another gig in the wake of his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Dykstra, claiming he emotionally and sexually abused her. The Kaaboo Festival in Del Mar, CA says it's pulled Hardwick out of the lineup for this year. The annual music and comedy event doesn't go down until September, but organizers already made up their mind -- Hardwick will not perform his comedy routine, and a replacement act is TBA. As reported ... Nerdist scrubbed all of Hardwick's content on Friday, hours after Chloe posted an emotionally charged essay with details of the alleged abuse. She claims Hardwick forced her to have sex and made her live under strict rules. However, Chris denies ever sexually assaulting her, and adds they only broke up because she cheated on him. UPDATE: AMC Networks says Hardwick's show, "Talking with Chris Hardwick," will not air while it assesses the situation, and he is stepping aside from moderating planned AMC and BBC America panels at Comic-Con in San Diego next month. AMC adds ... "We have had a positive working relationship with Chris Hardwick for many years. We take the troubling allegations that surfaced yesterday very seriously." (TMZ)

The actor who played Carl the Janitor on "The Breakfast Club" allegedly used his acting powers for evil ... persuading an elderly woman to fork over $75k over an 11-year period. John Kapelos -- who also appeared in "Sixteen Candles," "Weird Science" and several episodes of "Justified" -- is being sued by Michelle Vlahos ... who claims he used "powers of persuasion" to pounce on her loneliness and her craving for male companionship. In docs, obtained by TMZ, Michelle says John "utilized his theatrical instincts" to create a position of trust before convincing her sometime in 2006 to fork over money to pay his bills, clothing, groceries and luxury items. She says they had an understanding he would repay the cash but got radio silence after repeated attempts to get him to pay it back. Vlahos and her attorney, Martin Goldman of Mendelsohn, Goldman & Schwarz ... are suing Kapelos for the borrowed sum, plus damages. (TMZ)

Charlie Sheen claims the woman suing him for exposing her to HIV is flat-out lying about being forced into signing an NDA -- and, instead, says she was desperate to spend time with him. According to new docs, Sheen denies there was any coercion on his part to get her to sign the non-disclosure agreement. He also points out she's violated that deal. Sheen says the woman's not special -- he requires ALL visitors to sign such a document before they enter his house. In his response to her lawsuit ... Sheen says she signed it "without incident or objection" because she wanted to hang out, and she got exactly what she wanted. We broke the story ... the woman, suing as a Jane Doe, claims she only signed the hush agreement out of fear because Charlie had a "thuggish" goon squad with him. Sheen is adamant she knew about his HIV status when they met and believes she's just trying to extort him. (TMZ)

The former bassist of rock band 3 Doors Down is back behind bars after an alleged domestic violence incident ... TMZ has learned. Todd Harrell was arrested Friday in Jackson County, Missouri and is facing a charge of domestic violence simple assault, along with felony counts of marijuana possession and possession of firearm by a convicted felon. As for why he's a felon ... Harrell went to prison in late 2015 for his role in a deadly crash in Nashville in 2013. He was speeding and on drugs when he clipped a pickup truck, causing the driver to strike a guardrail and die from his injuries. Harrell was busted for another DUI in February 2014. (TMZ)
