Mindy Kaling Talks Life as a Single Mother at Dartmouth Commencement Speech. Mindy Kaling brought big laughs and big heart to her commencement speech at the Dartmouth 2018 graduation on Sunday. In the hilarious talk, Mindy did something she's rarely done -- discussed what it's like to be mother to daughter Katherine Kaling, who was born in December. The Mindy Project actress gave a 17-minute address, filled with jokes, sweet memories, funny stories and serious bits of wisdom, all for the crowd of students, parents and onlookers in Hanover, New Hampshire. Following the event, Kaling posted an Instagram photo from the event and wrote, "Thank you @dartmouthcollege, my Alma Mater, for welcoming me back to deliver today's commencement speech. To say it was an honor is an understatement. Full link to my speech up in my bio! #WhyNotMe #Dartmouth18." Let's take a look at her powerful and inspiring words, including her "practical" advice to the grads... Midway through the speech, she began her "practical" list, "1. First off, remove 'Proficient at Word' from your resume. That is ridiculous. You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel of competency there. This is how you become proficient at Word: You open Word on your computer." The actress continued, "2. Most of your post-college life is simply filling out forms. Car insurance, health insurance, W-2s. W-4s, 1099s. Guess what? None of us know what any of those forms mean, but you will fill out a hundred of them before you die." "3. You never need more than one pancake. Trust me on this. Cartoons have trained us to want a giant stack of those bad boys, but order one first and then just see how you feel later," she added. The Ocean's 8 star continued, "4. This one is just for guys: When you go on dates, act as if every woman you're talking to is a reporter for an online publication that you are scared of. One shouldn't need the threat of public exposure and scorn to treat women well; but if that's what it's gonna take, fine. Date like everyone's watching, because we are." And finally, "5. And this might be the most important -- buy a toilet plunger. Trust me on this. Don't wait until you need a plunger to buy a plunger." Of course, the actress did get more serious during her speech, telling a story about what it was like coming home after welcoming her daughter into the world. "I will tell you a personal story. After my daughter was born in December, I remember bringing her home and being in my house with her for the first time and thinking, "Huh. According to movies and TV, this is traditionally the time when my mother and spouse are supposed to be here, sharing this experience with me." And I looked around, and I had neither. And for a moment, it was kind of scary. Like, 'Can I do this by myself?'" "But then, that feeling went away, because the reality is, I'm not doing it by myself. I'm surrounded by family and friends who love and support me. And the joy I feel from being with my daughter Katherine eclipses anything from any crazy checklist. "So I just want to tell you guys, don't be scared if you don't do things in the right order, or if you don't do some things at all. I didn't think I'd have a child before I got married, but hey, it turned out that way, and I wouldn't change a thing. I didn't think I'd have dessert before breakfast today, but hey, it turned out that way and I wouldn't change a thing. "So if I could impart any advice, it's this: If you have a checklist, good for you. Structured ambition can sometimes be motivating. But also, feel free to let it go. Yes, my culminating advice from my speech is a song from the Disney animated movie, Frozen." "I've covered a lot of ground today, not all of it was serious, but I wanted to leave you with this: I was not someone who should have the life I have now, and yet I do. I was sitting in the chair you are literally sitting in right now and I just whispered, "Why not me?" And I kept whispering it for seventeen years; and here I am, someone that this school deemed worthy enough to speak to you at your commencement." "Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something, but especially not yourself. Go conquer the world. Just remember this: Why not you? You made it this far." And that's why we love her! Amy Schumer Makes Red Carpet Debut With Husband Chris Fischer at 2018 Tony Awards. They've walked down the aisle -- now they're walking down the red carpet! Months after their secret wedding ceremony in February, Amy Schumer and husband, chef Chris Fischer, hit the red carpet together for the first time at the 2018 Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday night. For their first walk down the red carpet, Amy opted for a little black dress that was anything but basic. Chris donned a black suit. Previously, Chris attended the I Feel Pretty premiere, but didn't walk the carpet with his new wife. At the 72nd Annual Tony Awards, Amy was nominated for her role in Meteor Shower and was also on hand to introduce My Fair Lady's performance. Of course, during her intro the funny lady couldn't help bust out her signature wit, referring to herself as "beautiful theater actress Amy Schumer" and calling the play's lead character Henry Higgins "a mansplaining expert on dialects." On Feb. 15, Amy announced to the world that she and her boyfriend had in an intimate wedding in Malibu two days prior. She posted photos from the event on her Instagram page, writing, "Yup." The ceremony took place at a private home overlooking the ocean. The bride wore a white lace gown with spaghetti straps and had her hair partially braided. She carried a bouquet of white and pink roses. The groom wore a black suit. Bridesmaids wore pink sleeveless gowns and white and pink rose crowns. Jennifer Lawrence was also seen in one of the pics, wearing a different pink dress and kissing Schumer. Comedian John Early presided over the ceremony in drag. Jake Gyllenhaal was seen in another pic Schumer shared. Other guests included Jennifer Aniston, Larry David, Judd Apatow and David Spade, People and Us magazines reported. Schumer and Fischer went public with their relationship two days before their wedding, via a PDA photo posted on her Instagram page. They first sparked romance rumors in November, six months after her rep confirmed Schumer's split from her boyfriend of two years, Ben Hanisch. (Eonline)

Teresa Giudice spent months preparing to compete in the bikini division of a bodybuilding competition -- and the experience didn't let her down. "She has been training for this bodybuilding competition since December," a source tells PEOPLE. "She wanted a new challenge and pushed herself to the extreme. Right now she is in the best shape of her life." "She has lost a bunch of weight," the source continues, adding that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 46, is "even more fit than when she got home [from prison]." On Saturday, Giudice showed off her muscles in the 40-plus bikini division at the NPC South Jersey Bodybuilding Championships on Saturday in Medford, New Jersey, edging out four women to score third place. In order to prepare for the competition and hone her ripped abs, toned arms and muscular legs, the reality star worked out "with experienced trainers to help her do this in a responsible way," the source tells PEOPLE. "And she had the time of her life competing," the insider adds. "She really enjoyed pushing herself... the discipline, the focus. She may do it again in the future." Also on hand for the competition was Giudice's brother Joe Gorga, who helped cheer his sister on to her impressive finish. Although Giudice has kept fans appraised of her workout regimes since leaving prison with a noticeably more sculpted body two years ago, she kept quiet about her entry into the bodybuilding competition this weekend. However, trainer Tara Zito had some sweet words to say following Giudice's performance on Saturday. "Show time Saturday! So proud of @teresagiudice for stepping on stage today for her first time ever in the bikini division!" she wrote alongside a picture of herself and the reality star backstage. In addition to working her muscles at the gym (which she frequently documents on Instagram), Giudice told Women's Health in 2016 that yoga helped her "get through it all" during her 11-month prison stay, adding that she planned to become an instructor in the practice. "I love it so much that I want to get certified in it," she said. "I have a few more months to go. I'm just taking my time, because I have four daughters. It's a lot, but I'm definitely going to complete it." Meanwhile, her husband Joe Giudice, who is currently serving out his 41-month sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud, has also made some major changes to his body, losing 45 lbs. in prison. Joe -- who transferred from the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, to a federal prison in Pennsylvania last November -- has completed more than 27 months of his sentence thus far. Teresa served a little over 11 months in prison herself for the same crimes and was released on Dec. 23, 2015. A source previously told PEOPLE that the couple -- who share daughters Gia, 17, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 12, and Audriana, 9 -- "can't wait to be reunited." (People)

K is for Kooky, that's good enough for ye. Rapper Kanye West's smiling face was turned into eatable cookies that were served at his belated birthday party in Los Angeles Saturday night, according to Instagram photos of the event. His 41-year-old mug was also featured in coffee drinks decorated with Kanye foam art. And his birthday cake was made to look like the Teton Range of the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming, complete with green frosting that read, "Happy Birthday Kanye" -- an homage to the cover art of his new album "Ye," which he recorded in the state. The candle-lit dinner party was thrown by his wife Kim Kardashian, who wore a skin-tight white outfit and a long, blonde wig. The rapper turned 41 on Friday. Kardashian sisters Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were also at the party, plus pals such as Teyana Taylor, Quavo, and photographer Marcus Hyde. Israeli mentalist Lior Suchard performed and Kardashian posted a video of him bending a spoon for her husband. West and Kardashian also celebrated his birthday privately last week with their two eldest kids, North West, 5, and Saint West, 2. (Page Six)

Rachel Bloom Burns Neil Patrick Harris After He Shades Her Tonys Gig. Everyone's a critic. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend creator Rachel Bloom was back in action at the 2018 Tony Awards, where she interviewed performers, presenters and winners backstage for a second consecutive year; Bloom had a new collection of ridiculous hats and did bits with Amy Schumer and other actors. Neil Patrick Harris -- who hosted the show in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013 -- didn't attend the show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, but he did offer up some critiques via Twitter. Suffice to say, Harris and his 7-year-old son, Gideon Burtka-Harris, weren't fans of her shtick. "Who is the woman in the top hat backstage at @TheTonyAwards?" Harris asked his 27.7 million followers. "Gideon remarked that she says 'like' and 'oh my god' a lot. I'm confused..." The actress was quick to respond to Harris' shady comment. "I'm a big fan of yours. We've met numerous times and my husband, Dan Gregor, wrote for How I Met Your Mother for 5 years," Bloom tweeted. "Notably, he wrote the episode where your character finally meets his father." Harris later responded, "Indeed! Well said. Thanks for the reminder. How was backstage?" That was the end of the awkward Twitter exchange...for now, at least. Bloom wasn't Harris' only target on Twitter, as he also questioned why Once on This Island's Alex Newell was snubbed by the nominations committee, while Bruce Springsteen won a special award. "He uses teleprompters," he tweeted. "I don't get the logic..." At the end of the night, Harris congratulated the "entire" production team, tweeting, "It's a beast, and you tamed is incredibly well. So many performances, so many awards. Not an easy task. Well played." Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban co-hosted the 72nd Annual Tony Awards. The Band's Visit was the night's big winner, taking home 10 awards from 11 nominations, including Best Musical. (Eonline)

2018 Tonys Hosts Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles Give a Shout Out to the Losers in Opening Number. This one's for the losers! Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles, who are co-hosting the 2018 Tony Awards, opened up the rip-roaring show with a hilarious piano duet at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday night. The two played side by side and it certainly seemed like it was a sweet song -- until the original musical number revealed it was a tribute to all the Tony Award losers of the past -- just like them! That's right, the talented singers and performers admitted that while they'd both been nominated, neither has ever never actually won a Tony Award. But they were in pretty good company! The hosts with the most went on to reference beloved musicals like Jesus Christ Superstar, Dreamgirls, Into the Woods and Chicago, none of which ever actually won Best Musical. At the end of their cheeky number, the two were joined by the ensemble members from every Tony nominated musical. The group then sang to the star-studded crowd, "Theater is filled with bad-asses -- this one's for you!" The Tonys official Twitter tweeted, "The opening number definitely had that signature @sarabareilles vibe -- because she wrote it! Certainly not a loser in our book, unless you mean Legendary Outstanding Splendid Epic and Radiant. #TonyAwards #ThisIsBroadway." (Eonline)

KSI is gonna wanna see this ... Here's Logan Paul beating the dog snot out of his sparring partner during a recent training session -- and ending it all with a CLEAN knockdown shot to the face!!! TMZ Sports got our hands on the footage of a recent workout for Paul's August 25 boxing match against KSI ... a fight that some say could get more viewers than Mayweather vs. McGregor. The YouTube star is clearly taking the fight seriously ... he's been training like a maniac and looks pretty solid in this video. Sources tell us Paul has been training in Los Angeles -- and we know his brother, Jake Paul (who's also fighting on the card) -- has been reaching out to pro fighters to get him ready. FYI, Paul and KSI are both MASSIVE social media stars -- and are fighting to show the world they're no punks. In fact, KSI -- who has over 18 MILLION followers on YouTube -- already fought earlier this year against Joe Weller and beat his ass. (TMZ)
