- Beverley Owen, best known for having played the original role of Marilyn Munster during the first season of The Munsters," has died of ovarian cancer at age 81.
- Singer/songwriter Mark Hollis, frontman of 1980s British new wave band Talk Talk who sang "It's My Life," has died at the age of 64. Manager Keith Aspden said Tuesday that Hollis died after a short illness.
