I-10 frontage road, ramp and SR 77 lane restrictions this weekend
The Arizona Department of Transportation will have the following restrictions on Interstate 10 frontage road and ramps and State Route 77 for the El Tour de Tucson event on Saturday (Nov. 21) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The eastbound I-10 frontage road from Kolb Road to Congress Street will be reduced to one lane to allow cyclists to travel in the right lane.
- Message boards and traffic control devices will direct traffic through the area and separate bicycle and vehicular traffic.
- Law enforcement will be on site.
The eastbound I-10 on- and off- ramps between Kolb Road and Congress Street will be restricted as follows:
- Eastbound I-10 at Congress Street, 22nd Street and Kolb Road will be closed.
- Eastbound I-10 will have intermittent closures at Valencia, Craycroft and Wilmot roads.
Travel on the westbound I-10 frontage road at 22nd Street will be restricted.
- Drivers on the westbound I-10 frontage road will be detoured to either eastbound or westbound 22nd Street.
- No through-traffic will be allowed.
- Law enforcement will be on site.
Northbound State Route 77 (Oracle Road) from Ina Road to Pusch View Lane will be reduced to one lane to allow bicyclists to travel on the lane and shoulder.
