Pavement maintenance scheduled next two days on SR 95 in Mohave Valley and on I-40 north of Needles
Work will require brief delays and lane closures
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on State Route 95 in Mohave Valley (mileposts 226 to 230) as well as on I-40, just north of Needles, Calif, to be alert and prepared for intermittent lane closures in both directions and brief delays tomorrow (Nov. 19) and Friday while crews perform preventive maintenance work.
The work will require daily lane closures from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Construction will include the application of a protective layer to the pavement, designed to preserve the existing roadway.
The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone. Motorists are reminded to proceed with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
